Shang Dynasty... China
Disclaimer- This is NOT factual history, is it based off of real history? Yes. But did this actually happen? No. This is merely an alternate timeline, a ‘what-if’ situation.
The Crusades, a long, hard fight. It was won with steel and the might of the true god, and Allah, had been defeated. The war had supposedly been won with God’s very own wrath and might, the walls of cities and castles were blown apart and mailed warriors swarmed in, cutting warriors into bloody swathes and heaps of bodies. England was supposedly blessed every victory against the Saracens, and had made walls and castles crumble. Though, to the Far East, he sent his envoys... the order that wishes to be the new Dynasty called ‘Sun-Yang’ are led by a powerful and ruthless man called by 'Sun-Jinn', son of 'Wang-Jinn', who was son of the originator, 'Sun-Yang'. There was a secret trade going on, Sun-Jinn had looked to the West for allies to help him take the throne, as he needed warriors, hundreds to thousands of them, and King John obliged him in secret. None knew of this deal, it was an agreement, a weapon that none other could offer int he world, an explosive powder, at the time, black-powder. He would get this, and in return, send forth infantry, archers, heavy infantry, cavalry, heavy cavalry, and knights. He promised an immense force of five thousand soldiers, none of which hadn't experienced battle, weren't decently equipped, and weren't trained. Sun-Jinn, saw this, and it was what would grant him the throne to the Sun Dynasty, and, with the help of England, an Empire...
Rules-
If there is any romance, it's strictly MxF, no 'specials'. (Ask for Romance before-time if you want it)
There will be blood, and some gore, though not excessive, and not extreme
People CAN and WILL die, it's undoubtedly going to happen. There is no godmodding, but the main character is supposed to pull it through this.
Your character will be going through this story, they can be European or Chinese, either way, it's 13th century. They will be an assassin, your backstory can be your own, same with your character, though I will judge a bit.
