Aegis, an organisation consisting of cybernetically enhanced agents, is the forefront of defence around the world. The agents work together to keep peace and order no matter where chaos is. Aegis originally started in the early 1980s as a Counter-Terrorist Unit but due to developments in biomechanical technology it became a global police force by 2035 and now serves as the defender of mankind itself.
