Aszyna was born to Lord and Lady Adros, a rather formidable duo both in the courts and in the field of battle when the lovers joined forces, they had one point been the envy of many. Riches, swords, immaculate parties, it seemed the House of Adros had it all. That was of course until, mysteriously, the Lord and Lady died in their sleep. Foul play was the words on everyone’s lips, but there was little time for a witch hunt as the heir to the family’s entire holdings was only just 17 and needed guidance.

Aszyna had her advisors to guide her and kept House Adros afloat, though the loyalty of her men was not so easily assured and when the power started to shift, Aszyna got a very real lesson in what it meant to lead and how fear could be a proper motivational tool in keeping people in line.

It has been four years since her parent’s death and Aszyna has grown as a leader and a woman. She attends court, keeps favor where it is needed and pays lip service to others. Despite her advisor’s urgings, she refuses to take any of her suitors seriously, stating that the only ring she will ever wear is the sigil of her family.

History
Rai is most notably known for the many battles, and wars he has ended on his own. Most notably the lycan rebellion, when he mercilessly slaughtered thousands of werewolves attempting to overthrow the capital of Drogma. For his actions in the rebeliion he was harshly criticized, and nearly exiled from the Council of Magi. His history is a long one, for through his mastering of otherworldly magics, he has become an Immortal. His appearance has not changed in over 1,200 years. Currently Rai is seeking to meet with the High King, and Queen of the daemonic empire for reasons unknown.

To truly understand Rai, which is a difficult enough task on its own, you have to know his past. Rai has seen much triumph, and victory, but has also experienced untold sorrow, and despair. When he was still an apprentice in the Tyberian Mage's Guild, he met a woman that instantly changed his outlook on life forever. Her name Estella Brigantine, and she was as gentle, and as beautiful as a butterfly. Seemingly the complete opposite of Rai. The two would become best friends, then lovers, and eventually soul mates.

On the eve of their wedding, Estella was taken from him. The apparent cause of her death was an aneurysm in her brain. You see, any normal man would have excepted this answer, but Rai is no normal man. Utilizing ancient, taboo rituals of magic he was able to meet the Shinigami that had taken her soul. In a heated exchange, it was revealed that the reaper had taken her randomly, before it was her time to leave Ebonzia. For every human a Shinigami kills, they receive their remaining life, thus allowing them to lessentially live forever.

Realizing this, Rai flew into a rage previously unseen. He recklessly engaged the Shinigami in battle. Perhaps if he were thinking clearly he could've bested the reaper, but do to his rash actions he was tricked, and the shinigami escaped leaving him with severe wounds. This event plunged Rai into darkness forever.

Still bloody, and broken, tears streaming down his face like an unrelenting stream, Rai saught to do something unthinkable. He made a deal with the six most powerful daemonic beings in all the realms. You see, beings from the lower planes are kept in check by numerous ancient, angelic sigils set in place by the highest ranking angels in all of creation. There are six hundred, and sixty six seals. Rai broke every single one.

With the seals broken, there was only one thing left for him to do. Find the child of prophecy.

Not trying to be a dick, sorry but you should head over to -- Extra Pages -- And make an extra page thread, you title it and label it as a character-sheet thread.

This section of the forums is for discussions. Stuff like "Favorite character quirk?" or "Things you hate to see in a RP"

History

Some families are renowned for the bravery they showed in battle, and others for their magical talents. The Crown family is famous for neither of these impressive feats, but instead for their widespread presence throughout Ebonzia and their famously loyal bodyguard service. For the right price, a family could have a lifetime of protection bestowed upon them by the Crowns. A crown guard would risk their lives for even the pettiest of tasks if called upon, and upon their death, a new Crown guard would be sent in their place.

Corv was a lucky man. The family he was assigned to protect and serve was that of nobility, a rich family known as House Adros within Drogma. None dared to attack the Adros, they were far too politically powerful. Aside from this, their accommodations were fortified with a lot more protection than just guards (of which Corv was one of many), dark mages lurking in the background with soft-footed steps. Truthfully, Corv’s job was not really to protect, but to perform.

House Adros held monthly tournaments at their castle, where the servants of nobles and soldiers were invited to display their talents in 1 on 1 matches. Corv was highly regarded by House Adros and guests alike. His talents only complimented by his youthful and handsome appearance, swooning men and women alike. Crown bodyguards were trained with many weapons, forms of combat and battle strategies. Yet… with each cheering crowd who gladly threw roses at Corv’s feet, a pang of guilt ate a little bit deeper at the bodyguard.

He couldn’t fight.

While seeming far-fetched considering his nearly flawless record (that one guy with the net basically cheated), the truth was Corv was not only a performer but also a fraud. He could hardly maintain his balance while mounting a horse, much less in combat. However, there was something magical in those boots of his, always seeming to step just out of the way in time. His shield and sword too, blocking and falling just at the right moment. Despite years of combat training, Corv felt lost on the battlefield. Yet, with the right (magical) tools, he always found his way. This had gone on much longer than he intended though... he was supposed to improve by now, and the once glowing insignia on the inside of his chest plate seems to be dimming now...

None dared to attack the Feu, they were far too politically powerful. Name:
Valeford Sol Dharmus

Titles/Nicknames:
Vale of Temperance, Lord Valeford of Emberdusk, General Dharmus

Age:
???

Gender:
Male

Species:
Dragon-Vampire Hybrid

Alignment:
Lawful Neutral

Personality:
Vale is a pragmatist at heart and his cunning if often veiled in generally law-abiding tenure. He is well spoken, polite and hardly abrasive socially, although he is no charmer. When it comes to socio-politics, he is most experienced with the procedure. Vale is also quite strategic, not only in plans of intrigue but on the battlefield too. While he is not overly ambitious, he takes pleasure in elevating his own standing simply in case he might find need of it later, which can often be confused as something other than just strange caution. He is loyal to those he is honest to, but has no issues with acting ruthlessly or in a treacherous manner should the need for such actions arise. Vale does not hold unreasonable prejudice over others, but can sometimes be bluntly honest with those close to him. He trusts with an equal measure of calculation, for the term 'unconditional' and 'lifelong' mean two very different things to him.

Backstory:
Wip

Magicks:
Enchantment
Magic Resistance
Barrier Conjuring
Racial Shapeshifting

Possessions:
Ring of Sanity - Grants the wearer resistance against psychic magicks.
Ring of the Unseelie - Grants the wearer the ability to perceive mana as an aura.
Soulwood Staff - A staff carved from the body of an elder dryad, it still moves and churns with eldritch mana. It regenerates it's own mana source and can be used to supplement the user's spellcasting.
Castle Emberdusk - An estate with surrounding farmland tended by serfs. There is a village nearby that pays taxation and fealty to the castle's lord in exchange for protection. It currently houses a retinue of a 400 standing soldiers and a 100 strong garrison.

Strengths:
Physical Ability - Due to his racial heritage, he has been afforded an unnaturally strong body. Being able to lift men three times his size and shrug off regular sword strikes like scratches comes with every day life for Vale.

Enchantment Master - Vale has dedicated a large portion of his long life to studying, practicing and enhancing his ability to craft magical items. He is now renown as somewhat of an authority on good quality magic items.

Smithery - Going hand in hand with enchanting, Vale is rather experienced with crafting items of great quality. While he is no master compared to a dwarf, Vale prides himself on making gear that can perform well and last the test of time effectively.

Noble Intelligence - Anything a noble lord may need to know regarding administration, strategic combat, leadership and willpower. Vale has the education and years of experience to go with it.

Weaknesses:
Pessimism - Vale often expects and thus plans for the worst. While it ensures he can never be surprised by bad news, he can also never make the best out of an advantage.

Offensive Magicks - Vale has never been skilled at attack magic inclined to harm others. Perhaps due to mental incompatibility, he struggles to utilise magic with direct intent to hurt another. He thus relies on defensive and utility magicks.
