The current ruling party of Albona. For centuries, the Kingdom of Albona has been headed by the Esben royal family, consolidating their rule over years of instilling the belief of their excellence into the general populace. However, the dawn of industrialization allowed ideas and information from other countries to spread at a rapid pace through the lower classes, instilling doubt in the Royal Family's legitimacy to rule. This doubt built up within the populous until it eventually turned into a revolt as the lower classes rose up. Church fanatics soon revolted as well, seeing the chaos created by the revolt as an opportunity to install the church as the governing body of the country. The Royalists, as they are commonly called, maintain control of the majority of the cities in the nation and have access to better quality gear than the insurgent factions. A majority of the higher class citizenry support the Royalists, believing that an insurgent victory, no matter the side, will mean the end of their way of life.The Albonian Civilian Republic

The Albonian Civilian Republic is the insurgent faction formed by the revolting lower classes. Enlightened by ideas and news from foreign nations, the enraged lower classes revolted against their king. A vast portion of the lower class supports, fights for, or otherwise affiliates with the ACR. It is because of this that the ACR boast a numerical advantage over the KOA and the HAS. However, the ACR experience difficulty acquiring modern arms and equipment. This results in most ACR forces being armed with decades old firearms, as old bolt action rifles, and using civilian vehicles. The KOA, on the other hand, are readily use modern equipment, such as assault rifles and armored vehicles. However, the ACR is still a force to be reckoned with even with their technological disadvantage.The Holy Albonian State

Shortly after the lower classes revolted and formed the ACR, many influential church figures saw their chance to establish a theocratic state in Albona and so revolted, forming the HAS. The Albonian Church has publically stated they are not affiliated with the HAS insurgent group, however many in the nation and even those in neighboring nations believe that the Albonian Church actively encourages their faithful to join the HAS and supplies the HAS using their connections in Albonian society. Although not as numerous as the ACR or as well armed as the KOA, HAS fighters are extremely devoted to their faith and will fight more ferociously than the other two sides.The Federal Republic of Bobria
The Federal Republic of Bobria is Albon's northern neighbor. Bobrians enjoy many freedoms not commonly available in most other countries of Latis. The government of Bobria is headed by a president, elected by province officials, who themselves are elected by citizen elected township officials. Due to the structure of the Bobrian government, any act or bill proposed will take a very long time to be processed. A majority of the citizens of Bobria have no stance on the Albonian Civil War. Those who do have a stance support either the ACR or the KOA, however more are leaning towards the ACR than the KOA. The Bobrian government accepts all refugees from Albona. Bobria's relations with Laus is deteriorating as rumors about the treatment of the Lausan lower class leaks out of the country. Bobria's relations with Orolyvia is at an all time low due to a long standing rivalry between the two nations.The Lausan Republic
Although the Lausans claim their nation is a republic, that is far from the truth. The Lausian head of state is elected, however, elections are fixed so that the current ruler remains in power no matter what. Much of the lower class citizens in Laus are forced to work menial and occasionally dangerous jobs while the upper classes enjoy a life of luxury. News that reach the general public is heavily censored and edited so that potentially dangerous ideas to the Lausan regime don't influence the masses. This is done to prevent the lower classes from revolting, just as what happened in Albona. The Lausan government has declared that no Albonian refugees are allowed to enter the country, out of fear that these refugees may spread news of the outside world to the public. Despite this declaration, many desperate Albonians have made their way into Laus, spreading information of the outside world just as the Lausan government feared. Rumors now circulate that an underground resistance movement is forming among the lower classes of Laus, favoring the ACR in the Albonian civil war. The Lausan government has secretly supporting and aiding the KOS and deny any involvement in the conflect.The Orolyvian Divine State
The Orolyvan Divine State is a country that is headed by officials of The Church of Western Latis. As a result, religion plays a vital role in Orolyvan society and is not to be taken lightly. Practicing other religions, blasphemy, etc. is often punished by death. The head of state is not determined by an election, but rather is an appointed church official selected by a special church committee. A long standing rivalry exists between the Orolyvans and the Bobrians, due to several wars breaking out between the two prior to the industrialization of both nations. Conflicting ideological beliefs were at the center of the wars of the past and are still the center of the Orolyvan-Bobrian rivalry to this day. The Orolyvan government has openly declared their support for the HAS in the Albonian Civil War. The government has also declared that only the faithful are allowed to seek refuge in the Orolyvan Divine State.
