  Born the third son of Lord Selwyck Botley and his wife, Ravella, nearly four decades ago, Goren was not one with whom great expectations were placed. By the time he was conceived, his older brothers were already eight and six respectively, and his elder sister was in line for a marriage. Being further back in the line of succession allowed the plucky youth a certain amount of breathing room that his betters were not afforded. The elderly Lord Botley, having spent much of his youth reaving coastlines from the Shivering Sea to Slaver's Bay, had waited until his later years to settle down with a wife and carry on the family lineage, and thus, took great care in grooming his successor. A sizable fortune plundered from the hulls of great cogs and strange monasteries gathered over the years, and Selwyck was of a mind to see it put to better use than wine, women or gambling as so many did. While Goren's lord father carefully grew his home of Lordsport and groomed an heir worthy to rule it, he used his lesser sons to cultivate relations abroad. It was this policy that saw young Goren packed up shortly after his eighth name day and sent not too far from home to the castle of Pyke. It was there that he would spend his formative years, under the watchful eye of the Lord Reaper.

Biography : Nymor Allyrion is the only son of Mara Uller and Deziel Allyrion. Nymor has a younger sister who is married to Ultor Qorgyle. Nymor grew up near the riverbanks close to the Godsgrace, the castle of house Allyrion. As expected from a heir, Nymor quickly began his training. Mornings were full of combat training. Unarmed combat, sword fighting, archery, spear throwing, every aspect of fighting was learnt to the young boy. The afternoons were reserved for lessons about ruling, trade and other aspects of becoming a lord. In his free time Nymor was found near the river, either sailing or fishing. His beautiful appearance was noticed by various young ladies and men in the village or by people sailing down the river. Especially his striking blue eyes caught the attention of many. If you did some research you would notice a few kids around the village or at the river with the same eyes. At the river Nymor also learned how to steer a pole boat. It was then where Nymor decided that House Allyrion needed to invest in expanding their power at the river.
When Nymor reached the age of fifteen his parents wed him to Melei Dalt, a girl from Lemonswood at the mouth of the Greenblood. Nymor didn’t love her but stopped sleeping around out of respect for her. However, a few years into their marriage they got a daughter, Melissa. Nymor loved their daughter but lost interest in Melei and started to see a girl from the Orphans. Eventually that girl moved into Godsgrace, Melei didn’t like it but there was nothing she could do. With this new girl, Morra, Nymor got two healthy and strong sons, Nate and Trystane. Nymor trained the boys himself in the arts of fighting and sailing. He didn’t look much to Melissa anymore. The boys were taking all of his time. He was training them to become his personal fighters some day. Nate was quick and impulsive, while Trystane was more thoughtful about his actions and stronger. They are both still very young but they already have a lot of skill.
When the war broke out Nymor fought under his father’s command. He fought in several battles in the Reach and eventually they lost. Alester Tarly gave him a serious scar on his chest while he was defending Sunspear from the forces of the Hightowers and the Tarlys. In the early beginning of the war, in one of the first battles, did his father die and Nymor took over the control of the forces of Allyrion and became a respected leader by them.
After the war Nymor returned home and found out that Melei had drowned in the river. Nymor didn’t really care, but he tried to comfort his daughter, because she lost her mom. He began right away with his plan to strenghten their presence and power at the river, ordering the production of some ships.
