    Full Name: Lenia Reed
Titles: Lady, Huntress of Greywater's Watch
    Age: 17
    Family:Screenshot 2019-01-10 at 9.42.02 PM.png
Biography: Lenia is the only child out of the marriage between Renia Reed nee Bolton and Tommen Reed. She grew up in the North, learning how to hunt as well as how to be a lady until her father went with arms alongside House Stark to fight in the Vale, soon getting himself captured. She had raised her own hunting hound and mare from little ones (at around the same time as the foal was left without its mother from a bear attack and the hound being a runt of the litter) along with learning how to do lady things like sewing, helping with hosting parties when the Starks visit, and watching the little ones from those who live outside of the Watch. She had even read all of the books inside of Greywater's walls and had come to her father about how those in the books (considering he had some warfare books within those available) should have strategic before taking on the opposing force. She had surprised her father with that type of knowledge. When he had been taken captive, he offered her in return for his freedom to the eldest Arryn male.
Other: Hunting Dog Shadow and mare Storm are her only pets, having learned how to hunt at a young age. Was handed, as a wedding gift for her fiance an opal-encrusted longsword that her father's blacksmith had created for Lord of the Vale.

Alternate Face Claim:
9a1dc48bb23c01456be216254f5b2523.jpg
Rylen is a tall lad, standing at about 6'3, with a pale complexion and a frame befitting a young man of nobility. His eyes are a light brown, almost hazel color, with his hair being a much darker brown, being neatly trimmed and cut. Despite being the Lord Paramount of the Vale, he prefers to wear practical clothing, tunics, jerkins, padded jackets, the like, and almost always has a sword by his side.

Full Name :
Rylen Arryn, Lord of House Arryn and the Eyrie, Lord Paramount of the Vale

Titles :
Lord, Lord Paramount,

Age :
20, Born in 281 AC

Family :
Screenshot_2019-01-08-21-20-24.png

Biography :
Born the youngest son of Lord Arryn, Rylen wasn't expected to do much. Become a knight, learn the art of battle, and maybe marry a girl from a smaller House or from the local area. Hell, they wouldn't even really mind if he had a few turns in the hay with men (if he did that, anyway.) He was obsessed with the tales of knights, as all children of the Vale are, bravely charging into battle, facing down foul villains, and winning the hearts of fair maidens. Trained as a page during his childhood, he always looked up to his two older brothers, especially the one born just before him. He was an exceptional knight, preferring the lance and longsword respectively. He did, however, prefer to study history over combat, and his knowledge of Westeros' history and customs is quite impressive. Most of the men of the household were gone, either hunting or to war. His second oldest brother was even to marry Lenia Reed when she came of age. But something had to burst his bubble. One after the other, he lost his father, his oldest brother, and finally, the second son. Left the sole heir of the Eyrie, and with his sister married to a Greyjoy, Rylen assumed the position of Lord Paramount, being betrothed to Lenia in his brother's stead.

Personality :
Rylen is the ideal youngest son. Quiet, polite, respectful, and most importantly, unambitious. He never really expected to get this far, and he's completely out of his element. He tries his best to both be the best ruler he can, while also keeping his morals intact. In public, he can often come off as very passive and shy, preferring to keep to himself. He does open up in private, however. Well, when he's not sulking. He has a tendency to be sullen and reserved, often locking himself in his chambers with only his books, his falcon, and maybe a close friend to keep him company. While talking, he has a tendency to ramble on and on about random trivia about Westeros and it's histories, customs, stories, etc, even if he's unaware he's doing so. He truly cares for those close to him, though he has trouble communicating this well.

Other :
He rides atop a grey mare named Steel, a thoroughbred war horse given to him upon his knighting. In terms of pets, he often finds solace with his white falcon named Artys, after his ancestor and founder of House Arryn. His sword is a Type XVIa longsword, forged of steel with a grey sheen, silver crossguard, and a grip wrapped in the leathers of a boar he killed in a hunt.

    Gyles.png
    Full Name :
    Gyles Hightower

    Titles/Monikers :
    Lord of Oldtown
Commander of the Dornish Naval Invasion
    Thorn-Hand
    Lord of Cheers

    Age : 34
    Born in 267

    TDfdrhH.png

    Biography :

Born second to Gyles Hightower and Barbara Hightower nee Brax, Gyles (the second) initially was welcomed into a world devoid of desire. The immense wealth of House Hightower, the unconditional love his parents had for Gyles (the second) and the growing family perfectly satisfied every want a young lad would have. The second child, yet first son, Gyles (the second) was, in a manner, spoiled by his parents beyond even what the eldest sister, Melantha, experienced. Time spent with Gyles (the Greater) was extensive, stories told to him of the great Hightowers of the past and the strong ties they had with the land itself. Barbara Brax, a foreigner to this region of Westeros, spent no less time with her first son, reveling in the tales of her native house and their infamous Unicorn sigil, a favorite animal of the still immature Gyles (the second). Eventually, two more additions to the family were made with the twins, Garth and Axel. Four years younger than Gyles, the future Lord of Oldtown was privy to responsibility for the first time as he played leader among his younger siblings. Up until Gyles turned 12, when his comfortable world began to change.

In 279, Melantha Hightower (age 15) married Robert Rowan. The celebration was no less extravagant than one would think, with Gyles (the Greater) forcing the ceremony at Oldtown and inviting half the Houses in Westeros to the festivities. Queer dancers from beyond the waves entertained the children whilst elephants from Volantis paraded the cities length, mock jousts performed by the entertainments atop the alien beasts. The four day celebration culminated in a tourney, whereas a pot of gold was the grand prize and any who was feld was forced to ransom their horse and equipment. This was Gyles (the seconds) first exposure to the greater world, lords of equal standing and even above his house. A humbling time, Gyles (the second) also met and befriended a girl from Highgarden, Leyla Tyrell. Beyond the year of 279 AC, Gyles (the younger) was pressed hard in his studies, physical and mental. Gyles (the Greater) was no expert in arms, yet insisted his heir stress the field, search for hidden talents whilst young. This burdened period of time saw Gyles (the second) grow resentful of his father for the first time in his life, not at all missed by his parents. As the months marched forward and a gulf between father and son continued, Barbara Brax convinced her husband to squire their son with a knight - a chance to learn from a man not directly tied to the family. After much debate, Barbara Brax won out, and Gyles (the second) was under the care of Daven Grimm, a cousin to Lord Grimm. Daven Grimm and Gyles (the younger) found mutual interests in leaving Oldtown, for Gyles it was a sense of adventure and anxiety of his father changing his mind over Daven Grimm’s appointment. For Daven, it was his golden opportunity to arrive at strange halls - a charge of great value in hand - and expect a feast, or at least service comparable to any passing lord.

Grimm and Hightower ventured from keep to keep, marking up a rapport as they visited houses of increasing importance. Rowan, Florent, and then Tyrell. Once in Highgarden, Daven Grimm contrived an excuse to remain within the castle walls for several months, before taking his boy-charge back to Oldtown. Friendships were made with Ser Mern, the future queen Leyla, and the many minor players who positioned themselves firmly in Argrave Tyrell’s court life. For two years, until Gyles turned 15, this routine remained. Much like Melantha’s wedding changed Gyles’ output on life significantly, in 282, another earth shattering event threatened to topple not only Gyles, but his house. Whilst on the road home, riders caught and found the knight and his squire, delivering news that churned Gyles’ stomach. Gyles (The Greater) and Garth Hightower were sailing to the Arbor, marriage on the mind of the prestigious Reach Lord, yet all that awaited him was a tomb of vast proportions. Whether by sea or pirates, the crew of Lord Hightower’s vessel never wholly reached their destination. Days of waiting turned to weeks, with only bloated bodies, too soaked in water and partially eaten by wildlife to identify, washed on the shores of the Arbor. Barbara Brax waited two months before declaring her husband and one of her children deceased.

A brief funeral, a monument erected in honor of Gyles (the Greater) and the world seemed to move on. The Hightower Family remained fixed in time, Gyles was at home again with no immediate plans to leave - not yet declared lord, with the steward acting on behalf of Gyles (the greaters) final wishes. Axel Hightower sunk into a silent, depressive state, rarely speaking to his older siblings or his mother. Barbara Brax was volatile, unable to appropriately deal with the grief of losing her husband and one of her sons so suddenly. Multiple fights broke out between Gyles and Lady Barbara, petty disputes that tested Gyles’ patience and chivalric oaths to not strike a woman, let alone his mother. Occurring one after the other, Gyles decided it was best to give his family space and demanded Ser Daven Grimm take him elsewhere - never specifying but both men knew where they would turn. Spending the rest of 282 in Highgarden, Ser Daven Grimm proved a poor replacement for Gyles (the greater) in terms of father figures, often encouraging his young charge to now indulge himself with women and drink. To some extent, Gyles did both, never in the quantity of his knightly mentor. Time passed slowly in Highgarden, an official guest (for an unknown duration), Gyles would frequent Argrave’s halls, attend certain dinners and even join him on a number of hunts. In 283, days after Gyle’s 16th nameday, both Daven Grimm and Gyles Hightower were invited to one such hunt. Accompanied by Argrave and a number of others, these men drifted into the dark woods for boars to proudly sling over their steeds and parade home with. In a fashion Gyles was all too familiar with, disaster swept joy out of Hightower’s grasp. An incident in the woods, perhaps slowed by alcohol or less skilled with a blade then he thought, ended with Gyles Hightower receiving severe injuries from one such boar. Acting quickly, the men of Highgarden amputated the mangled flesh and set to stop the bleeding. A day that changed Gyles’ life like no other, determining his fate greater than his father’s death or even birth would, Hightower returned to Highgarden, numbed by alcohol and milk of the poppy. It was seen to that Ser Daven Grimm be charged with failing to honor his oaths, seen by the poor condition of his charge, and Daven Grimm was given the option between a noose or the wall. The man chose the latter, vanishing days later in a carriage set for the frozen wastes.

Right hand removed, Gyles would leave Highgarden by 284, when his health was no longer in question. Upon returning, the youth, losing much of his earlier vigor and appeal, battled Barbara Brax more frequently. The two were seen as mortal enemies for a time, with Axel Hightower caught between them. Gyles assumed his rightful title as Lord of Oldtown and senior of House Hightower shortly after his return. In the coming months, Argrave and his many servants made it known to their former guest that they would do what they could to make his life comfortable. For years to come, Gyles Hightower had Argrave Tyrell to thank for his continued education and personal lessons in leadership and lordship. In the coming decades, he would welcome back his friend Leyla Hightower alongside one of the princes, Maegor Targaryen, spending much of his late 20’s with the couple.

In the Winter’s War, Gyles’ forces were one of the first to mobilize. Drawing his fleet back to the dock and his banners split, a majority marching for Highgarden under his direct supervision whilst Axel Hightower saw to the defense of the city in the beginning weeks. Gyles would be given the task of leading the Dornish naval assaults and invasion, working with Lord Tarly and Redwyne closely. During the Winter’s War, Axel Hightower led a cavalry charge against an incursion from the Stormlands, only to vanish as mysteriously as Gyles (the greater) and his twin Garth. The man couldn’t be identified afterwards, if he did truly fall in battle and didn’t end up prisoner. He was presumed dead and a funeral was held near to the wars conclusion.

    Personality :

Gyles Hightower is often seen as an amicable and easily confronted figure, rarely turning others down or attempting to intimidate them. A man of moderate faith and believing in giving a degree of respect, Hightower could be described as cheerful. Many, however, label a criticism against Lord Hightower, declaring that he is often misleading or outright deceptive, appearing far more caring or polite than he truly feels, as longer conversations with strangers can yield hollow replies from Thorn-Hand.

    Other :
Despite squiring under Ser Daven Grimm for nearly four years, Gyles Hightower is not a knight.

Due to his preexisting injury, Gyles Hightower’s right hand has been removed and replaced with the ill-named “Thorn”, a hook. With his dominant hand removed, Gyles spent countless hours honing his left hand to write. Albeit successful, Gyles often employs others to draft his letters for him, simply signing them and sealing them up himself.

Plays and music are a known interest to Hightower, all who have visited his court at least once could attest. While he spends time to prepare food and import the ideal spirits, it’s the entertainment that Hightower brings that leaves the biggest impression.

  • Full Name: Edmure Waynwood
    Titles: Lord of Ironoaks
    Age: 39
    Family:
    House Waynwood Revised.png

    Biography:
The elder of two sons of Ser Jon Waynwood, Edmure Waynwood was born in the Vale of Arryn in the year 262 AC, his grandfather: Brynden Waynwood being the Lord of Ironoaks, and his father serving as Keeper of the Gates of the Moon, which is where he would spend the majority of his earliest years. The relationship between Waynwood’s father and his grandfather had always been a strained one, and as such Edmure would not step foot within the castle of Ironoaks for the entirety of his grandfather’s life time, seeing the keep for the first time when he himself ascended to its Lordship decades later. Waynwood’s grandmother had been a Lychester of Castle Lychester, a member of the middle gentry in the Riverlands, and during his early teens, Waynwood would ward with his great uncle, Lucas Lychester, serving as a page and later a squire before returning to the Vale after receiving his knighthood in 278 AC for helping to deal with a small tax rebellion from one of House Lychester’s tributary hamlets. Although he received a martial education, as befit his station, Waynwood was never anything more than passable as a warrior, nor could he claim great skill as a scholar or an intellectual, though this did not stop him from striving for success. The primary lesson that Waynwood took away from his time in the Riverlands was not physically aptitude, but rather a series of new friends and connections that would serve him well in later life. Waynwood learned the importance of networking, and remained in contact with many of the people he had met in the Riverlands for many years.

Following his return to the Vale, Waynwood sought appointment in the court of the falcon, as his father had done before him, receiving a commision in the household of House Arryn at the Eyrie, serving at various times as a secretary, cofferer and intendant to the Warden of the East, for which he was paid enough to stop relying on his family wealth. Waynwood established himself at court as a man who could get things done, and as a competent administrator of both state and finance. He would purchase several country homes within the southern Vale and eastern Crownlands, though he would later sell off much of his property during a period of hardship after a poor harvest in Ironoaks forced him to bail out his family home. It was this event that drove him to seek alternative and more stable means of income, and Waynwood became heavily involved within the trade of wool and cloth, which he would have refined into garments and exported around Westeros and Essos, claiming that ‘whilst the Lannisters shit gold, I spin mine from wool.’ Whilst pasteurizing sheep had made Waynwood himself a wealthy man, it had done little to help the common folk of his land, as the cultivation of mutton was a much less effective source of food than the growing of wheat and other crops, and much of the peasantry’s land had been enclosed in order to facilitate the growth of Waynwood’s textile industry, and what remained had been engrossed in order to be more profitable for his lordship, though this left many angry and unemployed. Waynwood suffered public disgrace when the commonfolk rose up against his rule, and though the issue was handled with relative ease, Waynwood would resign his commision and retire from active court life, allowing himself to fade into temporary obscurity within the Eyrie.

It was during this time that Waynwood would become smitten with one of the wards of Lord Arryn: a young Lady of Crownlands origins called Rhaenys Hayford. He began to court her, in the customary fashion and the two became very close, and established a romantic relationship, though when Waynwood asked Lord Arryn for his blessing to ask her hand in marriage, he was declined. Rhaenys was promised instead to one of Lord Arryn’s distant cousins, Ser Osric Arryn of Gulltown, and though Waynwood was disappointed, he would not ultimately dispute the decision, and respectfully withdrew himself from the Vale, retiring to a small estate within the Crownlands. He would purchase a license to farm taxes in the name of the Crown, and had ambitions of purchasing higher office, though he would soon be recalled to the Vale upon the death of his grandfather, as Lord Arryn would appoint him Keeper of the Gates of the Moon after his father’s ascension to the Lordship of Ironoaks. He would only hold the office for two years, citing poor health as a reason for standing down. During his period of absence, a harsh winter had struck the Vale, and Ser Osric Arryn, Waynwood’s former rival had perished, leaving his wife widowed with an infant son. Waynwood once again sought her hand, though this time successfully, receiving the blessing of Lord Arryn and marrying in a small ceremony in 285 AC. Waynwood’s father would die in 287 AC due to complications with his heart, and Waynwood would assume the Lordship of Ironoaks, visiting his family seat for the first time. Two weeks was the longest amount of time Waynwood remained at Ironoaks, however, for he grew bored quickly of managing his own household, instead he would delegate the responsibility to his younger brother: Ser Tommen Waynwood, and returned once more to the Eyrie, which had become his real home.

By the time Waynwood reached his thirties, he his wife had given him three children, two girls and a young son: Robar Waynwood. Robar was a sickly young child and very weak, and as the heir to Ironoaks and Lord Waynwood’s only son, he received a lot of his father’s attention, with Lord Edmure being very worried for his young son. Edmure Waynwood would finally achieve favour and be appointed to the position of High Steward of the Vale in 294 AC, which he believed to be the height of his political career, though of course, the gods had very different ideas.

In 300 AC the Vale would go to war. Lord Arryn had been a close of friend of Prince Maegor Targaryen, and when Maegor called for the Lords of the realm to support his claim to the Iron Throne over that of his brother and sister, the Vale would answer. Whilst Lord Arryn himself would fight alongside his King at Riverrun, Waynwood was given command of the secondary Vale army whose goal it was to secure the eastern Riverlands and the mouth of the river Trident, a task which Waynwood took very seriously. First his armies would fall upon Lord Harroway’s Town, where Lord Waynwood would defeat the forces of Lord Roote, hanging in the process two of Lord Roote’s brothers and one of his sons whom had not been present at the battle, but instead come later with a smaller force and tried to set the camps of the Vale afire whilst their lords slept, a plot which may have been successful had it not been for the deft eyes of a camp follower who had been fetching water whilst taking a break from entertaining one of the Vale Lords, and whose screams managed to alert the armies of the danger before any real damage could be done.

With a crossing over the Trident secured, and supply lines established, Waynwood then sought to gain the submission of House Darry of Darry, intending to take the castle to use as a base of operations for future assaults in the Riverlands. When he arrived however, he found something much more the useful than any castle or holdfast. The armies of the North, led by a son of Lord Stark himself were gathered below the castle walls, likely heading for some greater campaign elsewhere in the Riverlands. The force looked able, but it was small, and Waynwood wasted little time in order his own men to fall upon the armies of the North whilst they were still unaware of his presence. The battle was hardfought, with both sides taking casualties, however, the superior numbers of the Vale and the element of surprise was enough to help them win the day, and Waynwood was able to capture and hold many notable lords and knights from both the North and the Riverlands.

That night, Waynwood would feast his men inside the walls of the Plowman’s Keep, even offering his hospitality to those whom had recently been captured, though this did little to alleviate tensions between the Vale and the North, for the Northern lords were kept separate from the rest of the feast, and heavily guarded for fear they might attempt to escape. A notable outcome of the night was that Waynwood was able to secure a betrothal between his young son and a daughter of Lord Darry, in exchange for taking one of Darry’s sons as a squire and speaking favourably of his House to Lord Arryn and the King once the war was concluded. From this point on, the Vale army would lead several more campaigns to places such as Saltpans, Maidenpool and Crackclaw Point, though the last notable battle occurred under the shadows of the walls of Black Harren’s Keep.

The Battle of Harrenhal was short, yet fierce, and during it the ‘Curse of Harrenhal’ claimed yet another House, as the line of House Whent was extinguished for good. It was at Harrenhal that Waynwood would keep his newly captured prisoners until it was time for them to be transferred to King’s Landing under the custody of King Maegor, and it was at Harrenhal where Waynwood himself would maintain his armies, for the halls of Harren the Black were vast, and House Whent had maintained a full pantry. He grew fairly attached to the castle, and when it finally came time for him to leave, for the war had ended, and Maegor was to be coronated King of the Seven Kingdoms, he maintained a garrison their, led by his old friend and bannermen, Ser Bartimus ‘Butts’ Hardyng.

    Other:
Lord Waynwood likes to keep himself well dressed, a side effect of his investment in the clothing industry, and takes pride in wearing fine clothes and hats. He also can often be found sporting a cane, though he has no trouble walking.

Waynwood has two squires: Danwell ‘Dan’ Darry, a younger son of Lord Darry, and Jasper Hardyng, the younger brother to the Lord of Hardhold.

Through his wife Rhaenys, Waynwood is the stepfather to Ser Elbert Arryn, an Arryn of Gulltown. Though the boy is the son of Waynwood’s former rival: Osric Arryn, Waynwood had helped to raise him as if he were his own, and has an affectionate relationship with him.

Ser Tommen Waynwood, Waynwood’s younger brother, who has served as Castellion of Ironoaks, won the moniker ‘the Lumberjack’ for slaying three sons of Lord Tallhart during the battle of Darry. He adopted a personal sigil three tree stumps above the traditional arms of House Waynwood.

Due to his actions in fighting the Northern Lords during the war, Waynwood has adopted the moniker 'Wolf's Bane'.

    Name: Selyse Tarly nee Florent
Titles: The Sleeping Fox, Lady of Horn Hill
    Age: 30 years old
    Gender: Female
Appearance: Always found with a soft smile on her face, Selyse may seem ‘tamer’ than those of her family. She holds her family to a high standard and it is shown in how she presents herself to others, never allowing others to sully or tarnish their reputations through technicalities or manners. Seleyse has a soft demeanor despite showing an almost-curious and adventurous aura about her. But, most of the time, in the presence of her family, husband, or Dowager Queen, Selyse tends to stand in the background, never one to like attention placed upon her.

Personality: A sleeping fox, Selyse rarely shows her cunningness or clever attributes unless necessary. One to hold her tongue and stay out of politics, Selyse finds herself meshing in with the other Ladies, sipping tea and accompanying them. Quite sly and even sneaky, Selyse is quite a good listener, if not, brilliant to think of out-of-the box ideas to help those around her. But, she puts her faith and trust into those closest to her, believing in their capabilities. Selyse has quite a playful nature that matches her cheerful and bubbly disposition in the comforts of her home and those she knows she would not be judg. She's maternal and warm, always looking out for others. Though slightly naggy at times, the young woman has quite a good head on her shoulders, believing in the best of others as she can be quite forgiving. She is trusting and trustworthy as she's someone who has an understanding of different perspectives from those around her which can be a pro but major con due to her empathetic nature.

Though one to speak her mind, if asked, Lady Tarly is quite soft-spoken, rarely one to raise her voice at others, especially her children. Although, Selyse may show quite a love for luxury items and femininity, the finer things in life, Selyse is not one to suffer any misgivings if she has any stolen goods or ‘accidently’ lost one of her precious jewels. If able, Selyse tends to give to the people, maintaining a good balance and image for her House, especially her family and husband. She is loyal and will never turn her back on those closest to her.

Selyse shows a sense of both passion and compassion. Never one to like seeing others down, Selyse does her best to keep her nose out of other people’s business, but tends to make it her own if she can’t help it being quite the worrywart and busybody that she is. Though she takes insults and her being a woman with a grain of salt, Selyse wouldn’t back down from a challenge, if asked, especially in falconry or hunting.

    Full Name : Ellaria Dayne

Titles : Lady Dayne, Lady of Starfall, Jewel in the Morning

Age : Ellaria is 19 years old, being born in 282 AC

    Family :
-Lord Arthur Dayne (Father - deceased)
-Lady Ashara Dayne (Mother - deceased)
    -Trystane Dayne (Brother - deceased)

    Biography :
    13 years prior

“Harder!” Sir Qyle screamed, swinging his wooden pole shaped like a longsword at an exhausted young Trystane Dayne. The poor boy didn’t have the strength anymore to raise up his own wooden sword. Qyle’s sword hit the right shoulder of Trystane and the boy reacted by dropping his sparring weapon and falling on the sand with his back leaned against the ground. “Not enough! Harder!” the dornish knight screamed once again.

Ellaria saw this scene unfold, like many times before, while she was with her personal handmaiden, who was at the time teaching the girl how to make pretty dresses, an activity Ellaria found tedious at best. “Lady Sylva, why does my brother always spend his days with Sir Qyle and that wooden stick?” she asked her handmaiden. The old woman answered with a quick and quiet chuckle, as if she didn’t want to disturb Trystane’s training with her giggle. “Oh my young lady, don’t go and ask senseless questions like that one. There is only one reason: the young lord is going to become the successor to your father and as such, he needs to be just as a great swordsman, so he can become the next wielder of our sacred Dawn!”

Ellaria lips curved into a big smile “My brother is that hardworking. But, no one can be better than father!” she said with a little chuckle. She turned her eyes from her handmaiden back to Trystane “You can do it, Trystane! We all believe in you!” she screamed with joy, only to feel immediately regret with the mean look she received from both her brother and his teacher. “I’m sorry, young lady” Sir Qyle said “But the young lord needs to be as focused as he can be. Get up from the sand, young lord. Harder!”

    10 years prior
Ellaria had been sitting for the past hour on one of the stone banks of Starfall’s main garden. She had been waiting for her brother, who had spent all day sparring with Sir Qyle. From time to time she could hear the black-haired knight scream his iconic ‘Harder!’ that her brother had grown to hate. Finally, with the sun almost setting on the horizon did Ellaria find Trystane coming from practice, his face adorned with new bruises, which he had received from Sir Qyle’s strict strikes.

She jumped from the stone bank and ran towards her brother. “Hey Trystane! How was training? Want to collect flowers? There are new ones who just bloomed and I wanted to get some to decorate my window!”

“I’m tired Ellaria! Can’t you see that?!” Trystane screamed in distaste. He couldn’t believe that her sister couldn’t see how exhausting the day had been, how much effort he gave every day just so he could be worthy of his father’s praise, just so he could hold his hands around Dawn’s grip. The young boy let out a large and extended sigh and tapped his sister’s shoulder “Maybe another day, Ellaria.” He said and kept walking.

Ellaria stood there, closing her hands into two fists “But… it is my name day…” she mumbled, too low for Trystane to hear, who was already leaving the garden.

    6 years prior
The halls of Starfall were decorated with flowers and many props. A big feast was prepared for Lord Dayne’s 39th name day and even the princes and princesses of House Martell had accepted their invitations. It was a big night and everyone was in high spirits, drinking the dornish wine so famous through all the Seven Kingdoms. Music filled the hair with songs being played by the best artists Ellaria’s father could have bought.

Talking about her father, he stood with her family, including the Daynes of High Hermitage, and House Martell on the main table. Behind him, was the legendary Dawn, adorned in the wall. The white metal forged from a fallen star shined bright, the light reflecting from its surface. Ellaria looked around and as expected, most of the guests’ eyes would gaze at the sword, once in a while.

She wasn’t the only one to realize it. Her father was already taking Dawn from the stone wall to show it to the Martells and other guests, to gloat about it. He would use it to boost its confidence and pride, telling the history that everyone in the Seven Kingdoms, specially Dorne, knew. What the weapon was made of, and where did their castle stand on.

Ellaria frowned and looked away from the scene focusing on her own plate. “Don’t be jealous, sister. Once I have the honor of wielding It, I will let you pose the palm of your blade on Its steel, just so you feel it” Trystane said, clearly noticing Ellaria’s not so happy mood.

    3 years prior
The chilly weather of Winter had now fully hit Dorne. Ellaria’s Summer clothes were now useless and she had to use warmer ones. She even had to use gloves, something she hated. They made her feel like her fingers were trapped. She was passing through the dark great hall, for the time being empty.

Something caught her attention, though. From the corner of her eye something was giving out light. She turned to see what it was, disappointed by finding out that it was simply Dawn’s reflecting the little light that made its way through the maze corridors of Starfall into the main room of Starfall, the castle’s heart so to speak.

She took a few steps towards it. So, her family’s pride was left unguarded? That was a rare occasion, one she had to take. She made sure she was alone three or four times, she slowly made her way towards the freezing stone wall. She stood on her tiptoe and stretched her arms to grab her hands around Dawn’s hilt. She pulled the sword from the stone and when she took it off the hangers, she almost fell.

“It’s heavy!” she said almost letting it drop. Carefully she sat on the ground to analyze it. It was the first time she ever held it or even touched it. The blade itself managed to be even colder than the chilling breeze that hit her back. It was white, like the snow Winter brought. ‘What a cold personality… As I had guessed, you just can’t bring warmness to my heart like you do with everyone else right?’ she smiled, not out of happiness, but the opposite. A tear left the corner of her right away and it fell, landing on weapon’s blade. ‘You are the reason my House is arrogant, you know that?’ she thought, a little giggle leaving her rose lips. ‘I’m talking to an object? Ridiculous’.

Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t realize that time was passing until it was too late and her father was already behind her, his face showing nothing but anger. “What are you doing, child? I prohibited you to ever lay your hands on It did I not? I told you, we all told you. Dawn is meant only for the worthy!” he walked towards and pulled the sword right out Ellaria’s grasp, ending up cutting Ellaria’s palm. Not a big cut, but one who would leave a scar. “Go to your room and clean the blood yourself” he ordered “I will make sure It is pure again!”

    9 months prior
‘There they go’ Ellaria thought, watching from the tower where her room was located. From the window of her room, she could see the great bridge that connected Starfall to the mainland. The night that preceded this chilling sunrise had been one of festivities, with a huge speech of her father, one which held empty promises of glory and wealth that the war would bring to all who followed him into battle. The highlight of the night had been the conversation her father and Trystane had in front of the crowd. Lord Dayne had pledged that, after the war and if his son had show worthy, he would declare that Trystane Dayne would be the new Sword of the Morning.

Needless to say, that aroused applause and loud cheers from the crowd, a sound that shook the halls of Starfall that could be heard even from High Hermitage.

Her father’s army rode right behind them, marching towards the fertile lands of Reach, marching towards the opposite army that outnumbered them by considerable numbers. The Daynes were confident that would win, however, guided and blessed by the fallen shiny star blade.

    3 months prior
Thick gray smoke billowed into the skies of Starfall. The sound of crackling fire murmured Ellaria’s soft ears, her hazel eyes reddened by the crying that occupied her last Winter night. Death had silenced all cheers from the halls of Dayne the night of six months ago, now only the burning flames that were consuming her father and her brother’s bodies daring to speak, revealing the morbid truth that the war had taken her family’s life.

That information was like she had been stabbed by a sword in her heart, leaving a deep cut in it, unable to be saved or closed. It was hard to listen to the wonders of her bannerman, he too wounded by a literal spear that had pierced his right shoulder.

‘Battle in the marches, near the Cockleswent, south of Ashford’ he had told her ‘Lord Dayne and Sir Trystane fought admirably, m’Lady’ he kept saying ‘they perished in the sea of reachmen, we couldn’t do anything…’ he finished.

Ellaria had waited a whole month before she had to face that news directly. Up until now, she had no tears to drop, but to stare right into her cold grey bodies, poor washed brown blood still in their skin and clothes. That’s what fully broke her down. She cried, cried for hours and hours, locked in her room, for the Gods know how long, until she cried herself to sleep.

Now she was staring at their skeletons, covered in black ashes of what once were their skins and clothes. She ordered everyone to leave after the fire had been put out. Tomorrow they would collect their ashes. Tomorrow she could worry. Now she only wanted see one thing.

That one thing was in the Great Hall, in the shape of Dawn, which had been retrieved by one of her bannermen.

‘Two mores souls have you collected huh? I now see that arrogance and pride is not what you only bring to us. You are a curse, a curse sent from the Gods in the shape of a fallen star. A trap hidden in beauty. No more, I will not allow you to feed on our agony and melancholy any longer, you hear me?’

    Other:
-She has a long scar in the plam of her right hand
-She is 5 ft 5 in tall
-Ellaria has a single strand of hair colored white, the only clue of her mother's ancestry

Big thanks to deer deer who had the kindness to help me with BB code. This is all her work!

Full Name :
Robb Stone

Titles :
Ser, Master-at-Arms

Age :
50, Born in 251 AC

Family :
Mother: Dead, passed away from old age
Possibly several bastard children he fathered when he was younger.

Biography :
Robb never knew his father. Hell, he most likely wasn't even a noble, possibly just a soldier under the service of House Arryn. He grew up in a small fishing village outside of Gulltown, helping his mother clean and salt fish brought in during the day. He was always an adventurous lad, always sneaking off to play on the shoreline and watch the fishermen in their boats. His life changed, however, near his fifteenth name day. The Mountain Clansmen had grown bold in the last few years, and decided to raid the village for food and supplies. Among the small retinue was young Robb, bravely holding off the invaders. This got him attention from Lord Arryn, who gave the lad the chance to become a part of his retinue on his sixteenth name day. Craving adventure, he of course accepted, soon growing close to the Lord's son, Ormund. Robb continued to distinguish himself, eventually being knighted. For the next twenty years, Robb loyally served House Arryn, seeing the Lord die and replaced by Ormund, and Ormund father four children with his wife Myranda. Robb, meanwhile, never married, though he did have a few tosses in the hay, and may or may not have fathered some bastard's himself. His last great achievement was being named the master-at-arms of the Eyrie, gladly accepting the role to train the boys of the household. He was close with all of them, each being a son to him. He grew especially close to Rylen, as the boy had little fatherly affection or guidance in his life.

But all good things end. Soon, the Targaryen's began yet another war for the Iron Throne, and the Vale rallied behind Maegor. The Lord, his two eldest son's, and Robb all rode off to fight for the King, the man now growing tired of fighting. He was there when his old friend died, and for the death of his son's as well, holding Cayn, who was to be married to Lenia Reed, as he died from a wound he sustained during (insert battle or siege the Arryn's took part in.) Robb was a broken, tired old man. He of course took to drinking, like all grieving men do, a problem he still deals with to this day.

Optional

Personality :
Robb is the classic laid back father figure. He does, however, have quite the dark, cynical sense of humor. He's pretty much lost faith in everything. The King, the Vale, the God's. The only thing he does believe in is protecting what few members of House Arryn still live, and to ensure that they live on. Well, as long as he's still alive, that is. He of course feigns respect for the Lord's and Ladies he meets, he doesn't want to die over something so trivial, but he secretly despises them. He is also prone to drinking heavily, in which he becomes bitter and angry, nothing like his usual, laid back demeanor.

Other :
Does your character have any habits? An addiction? Some hobbies? Any particular set of skills? A pet? A really, really, reall

20190113_222739.jpg

Appearance:
A little small, Deyanna is about 5'2" with a slim, delicate body structure. At 18 years old, shes pretty much as developed as she'll ever be. Tiny waist and rounded hips stay hidden beneath tattered cloths. She has large, kind eyes that hardly look at any in the eye. Theyre a vibrant green as the grass after a rain. Her black hair grows just past her hips, its silky and tangle free, usually kept in a single braid that dangles down to the small of her back.

Full Name :
just Deyanna (derived from Dyanna); unknown lineage

Titles : N/A

Age : 18, her year of birth is 283

Family :

  • Father- Unknown
  • Mother- Probably alive, unimportant
  • 2 younger brothers

Biography :
Born in Dorne, Deyanna has no idea who her father is, or who he could be. As far as shes concerned, hes never existed. She was given up by her mother at the age of 9 and gained the occupation of life-long servitude. She hardly remembers her mother, but knows she was a cold, hard woman. She hasnt seen her younger brothers since they were babies, ages two and one, and often mixes up their names when ever she talks about them.
WIP......

Personality :
Deyanna is a quiet soul. She isnt exactly shy but knows her place and generally only speaks when asked to do so. She has a large imagination and can often lose herself in her own thoughts and dreams. She carries a calm and serene disposition with curteous behavior. She can be eccentric and a little quirky but with utmost innocence. Despite her lack of an education, shes seems to have developed her morals and politeness through observation and common sense. She comes off a little naive, but shes young and sheltered from many things. Deyanna is kind and patient, especially so toward children and any helpless creature. She dreams of one day being able to read (and possibly write), she has far too many made-up stories to share to any whom might be interested to hear. It seems unlikely but it doesnt hurt to have dreams.

Other :
- A servant to Duncan Stokeworth

Domineering. Oasis Redwyne is an aristocrat in every sense of the word. A politically astute woman, Oasis has been a master of court politics and demonstrated par-excellence throughout her entire life. She appears to have a very dark sense of humor, and likes to mock those around her, including her own family. As superior (and often bitingly funny) as she can be, though, Lady Oasis cares deeply about her family, and would do anything for them. Oasis has a sharp tongue and rarely shys from using it to state her opinions. She can be extremely cunning in executing plans. Oasis is also known for her wisdom and pragmatism. Others, especially family members usually seek her advice, and counsel before embarking on a course of action. Those outside her family are careful not to get on the wrong side of her.

Biography : Tybolt Crakehall had been trained in sword fighting since he could hold a stick. After he could speak properly his lessons in Lordship also started. His whole life was about training to become a Lord one day. His father was always cold to him, showing no emotions. Tybolt thought it would be good to show no emotion, only think with his mind. Tybolt Crakehall married Lysa Heatherspoon. Lysa was one of the most beautiful women at that time. The relation between Lysa and Tybolt was very platonic. They ‘tolerated’ each other. Lysa knew her duty as Lady to produce offspring for her husband but she bore only daughters. Tybolt became irritated by this, especially when he was getting older and he knew that Lysa soon wouldn’t be able to get pregnant. But then disaster strikes, Lysa gets sick and soon dies. Full Name :
Bryan Forrester

Titles :
Lord, Bry, Ironskin

Age :
23

Family :
WIP

Biography :
Born as the first son of House Forrester, Bryan received the usual treatment. He was trained to run the House, as well as how to use the family claymore, and most importantly, make sure the ironwood was preserved. He was always an adventurous lad, so he quite enjoyed the training, though not so much how to run Ironrath. As he became a man, he soon found he had a fondness for bedding women, and much to his mother's dismay, was far from a virgin by the time he was about to be betrothed. But then, before his mother could even consider who to marry her boy to, war broke out, the banners were called, and Bryan, eager to see adventure and glory, went in his father's stead, who was quite I'll at the time. Bryan went with the young Stark on the offensive, being with him at the Battle of Darry, where he suffered at least five wounds, earning him the nickname "Ironskin." But iron skin doesn't protect you from the blunt end of a spear to the head, and thusly, he was captured and imprisoned by the ever lovable Lord Edmure Waynwood. He spent the next several months in Harrenhal, before the war finally ended, and Waynwood drug him to King's Landing, where he could hopefully be released. At some point, at least.

Optional

Personality :
Bryan is quite the character. He loves three things in this world: his drinking, whoring, and his family (minus his father.) Possibly his favorite hobby (besides going to a brothel,) is spiting his father, many times by doing both. He has a chronic fear of responsibility, and has refused for the last ten or so years to find a Lady from another House, and settle the fuck down. But of course, he hasn't, and probably won't at the moment, seeing as he's currently a prisoner of war. He is a very light and jovial person, however, always cracking jokes no matter the situation. Hell, after he had been wounded the fourth time during the Battle of Darry, he simply said, "Hell, either I'm unkillable, or they can't kill shit." Right before the fifth wound, and the smack upon the head. He's a general smartass, and doesn't know when it's improper to insult someone.

Other :
He has a tendency to crack his knuckles a lot. He also uses the family claymore, though it's currently in the possession of Lord Waynwood.

Jeor
Appearance : https://k.nickpic.host/Bnyt7A.png

Full Name : Jeor of Riverton

Titles : Ser

Age :
21

Family :
none living, raised by House Frey

Biography :
Born in the winter, Jeor never knew his mother, seeing as she died giving birth to him. Despite his constant attempts to do his father proud, the old man never seemed to be impressed with anything Jeor ever did, constantly depressed and angry about the death of his wife, taking his rage out on the boy through his words and actions.

Even with him trying to be kind to his father, his father would not show any kindness to him. Even up to his death when Jeor was ten. The house blazed orange and red and yellow, thick smoke eventually knocking the boy unconscious, a piece of wood breaking his arm. Luckily for him, an older squire, Ser Elmo Frey, found the boy, taking him back to The Twins, and offering him the things he never had - a kind ear to listen to and a shoulder to cry on. A warm bed - a home.

Then, after he had recovered, Elmo offered him a chance to squire - something the boy couldn’t turn down. During this time he learned the art of swordplay and dodging, of armor and warfare. Eventually, after six long years, he would have his chance to prove himself.

A group of thieves and bandits had been harassing another nearby village, and Jeor asked Elmo if they could look into it. He agreed.

Then, a tourney came around a few years later. He met a young Northman, Eddard Forrester. The two had gotten drunk during the midst of the tourney, fooling around in the tavern and stables.

What had started as a drunken fling became much more.
