This is really happening.

Can you believe it? Chess could hardly believe it faerself. But when fae had checked the mail one day, there was an envelope addressed to faer. It was from Jurassic World, congratulating Chess on winning the dinosaur writing competition. Chess had written an essay about Edmontosaurus, and honestly fae had not been expecting for faer essay about the herbivore dinosaur to be chosen. But needless to say, Chess is absolutely ecstatic! Fae gets to go on a trip to the opening week of Camp Cretaceous! After all, Chess had wrote that essay simply for fun, but fae’s not complaining. Not at all! Chess has always wanted to go to a park with actual, live dinosaurs.

Who wouldn’t want to see a real life dinosaur in person and up close? Fae gets to see dinosaurs! Dinosaurs! Dinosaurs are amazing! Chess wants to get up close and be able to pet a dinosaur! Do you think Chess will be able to pet a Baryonyx? Or a Velociraptor! Maybe a Brachiosaurus! There’s going to be so many dinosaurs and Chess wants to jump up and down and squeal in excitement. There was so much to do, Chess had to get ready and pack faer things and ensure fae has enough things for a whole week.

Leading up to the week of going to camp, Chess had been packing as many things as fae could in faer suitcase. A week’s worth of clothes and pajamas, books, snacks, and anything that’s worth taking to camp. Only the best! Now it was just a matter of waiting for the day that fae can leave and experience a fun week at the camp. It’ll be a dragged out week of waiting and being anxious. Can you blame Chess? Not everyone gets the chance to experience getting up close to a real dinosaur! It’ll be so much better than going to a museum and seeing the reconstructed fossils.

What kind of activities will Chess get to do? Will fae get to pet a dinosaur up close? Chess is getting really hyped up and excited for this trip. It’s going to be amazing! And Chess will be rambling for hours to faer moms about how much fun fae had at the camp and what fae did and the different dinosaurs fae saw.

“Mama, I’m only going to be gone for a week. You and Mom will see me after the week is over.” Chess had told both of faer moms before departing. A week of fun at camp and then it’ll be going back home to faer moms. Chess is going to make the most of this trip. It might be the only time fae gets to see real life dinosaurs. Unless Chess wins another writing competition or something like that.

Chess had said goodbye to faer moms before leaving and that had been hours ago. And now, it was time to absolutely enjoy the opening week of Camp Cretaceous! That had been hours and now Chess and the other campers were finally at Camp Cretaceous. Well, not really but sort of, you know? They’re just waiting around for the counselors.

Chess was standing around on the dock with the other people who had landed a spot at the camp. The camp counselors had yet to arrive so there was a bit of free time while waiting for the camp counselors to get there and go over the usual camp things. When will the counselors get here? Chess wants to see dinosaurs now!

Will the campers get to see dinosaurs as soon as they get to camp? Chess hopes so!

Chess was looking around at the other campers, wondering who to talk to. Chess has a habit of immediately rambling to new people that fae meets. Who should fae talk to right now? Faer eyes scanned the others before landing on the person closest to faer.

New friend!

This is a great time to make new friends! With a few eager hops, Chess is already close to the person. It’s time to say hello to a new friend!

“Hiiiii! What’s your name? My name is Chess! What’s your favorite dinosaur? My favorite dinosaur is Edmontosaurus, I wrote an essay about them and that’s how I’m here! How’d you get here?” Not even a few seconds after meeting and Chess is already a rambling mess. Don’t mind Chess, fae’s just extremely excited to be here right now!

Chess might as well make the most of the free time fae has right now. And fae will! “Are you excited for this? I’ve always wanted to see a real life dinosaur up close!” There fae goes again with the rambling.

Hopefully the person doesn’t mind the fact that Chess is asking so many questions.

Wow such an exciting experience!

Wouldn’t you think so too?

Ocean was remaining calm and collected about this whole opportunity! She wasn’t expecting to receive an invitation by email to go to a dinosaur camp by Jurassic World. Just for a week and it was a free experience. Honestly that peaked Ocean’s interest! She may not know all to much about dinosaurs other than you know what was taught in school. But it did pique her interest enough for her to want to see non fossil dinosaurs in person. It could be a fun addition to her blog after all! Her blog is mainly about marine life. Mainly Cetaceans. Or Whales in layman’s terms! Boy, Ocean did love her whales! But dinosaurs would be an interesting topic. There was some marine creatures after all housed at the park and maybe she could see them!

Ocean was aware they had a Mosasaur which she had written about on her blog earlier that year so maybe that is why they reached out! She had written about other’s too but it would take absolutely forever to list them all that she had written. Ocean was a bit of a perfectionist after all! Or at the very least, She tries her damn hardest to be! She was very much looking forward to seeing what was in store for her at the camp. Ocean had meticulously made a packing list of everything she could possible need for a week and a little bit longer just in case. Doesn’t hurt to overpack by a day or two right?! Never could be too overprepared! At least in Ocean’s opinion! Her bag had been packed almost a week prior to the week of camp and Ocean had triple checked it.

Ocean had spent a ton of time adding extra things just in case and reading book after book about Dinosaurs so she wouldn’t seem like she did not know all too much about them. She may have preferred the marine counterparts, but she was not going to be the laughingstock of the camp by not knowing much about the dinosaurs that roam the park. She had spent hours and hours of research on it. So she at least knew enough to get by for the week. She had packed the books too. Never hurts to have the extra knowledge on hand, right?! This would be the chance of a lifetime after all!

Ocean was most curious on how the camp was going to work! How much of the park they will actually get to see! What dinosaurs could they view! She wasn’t sure. The email did not contain any pertinent information of that nature. But Ocean was eager to find out! She was very curious about this indeed! How could she not be? The email inviting her to the first week of the camp was very unspecific on what entirely would happen at the camp. She knew her Mother was not all too happy about that. But Ocean was able to persuade her single mother that all would be fine! It would be! Ocean was sure of it!

“ It will be alright Mom….I am always overprepared you know!” Ocean had reassured her mother who reluctantly had agreed to allow her daughter to go. Being a single mother, River was always a worry wart. Ocean had won the change to go though due to her oceanrific blog! So River allowed it. Ocean hugged her mom tightly with a smile. “Everything will be alright Mom! I promise” She said to her mother before the left for the trip.

After one final hug to her mother and dragging her suitcase and her backpack. She headed down to the dock to wait with all the campers who had gotten the chance to go opening week of the camp! Ahh! She was really looking forward to it now with all the research she had done leading up to the trip! Hopefully the counselors would arrive soon so they could all get to camp! Yeah! It would be oh so fun!

Ocean had finally found a spot to wait with everyone where she could sit down on top of her suitcase. Letting out a small content hum while she awaited the camp counselors! Yes! This would be a most excellent experience! Totally would be! Ocean was ready to head to the camp! Most assuredly!

She was oh so curious to see what they would get to do first. View some dinos? Relax? Hmm Who knew?!

Ocean closed her eyes for a moment enjoying the gentle breeze that fluttered it’s way through the dock with a happy sigh. Yes….This was most wonderful.

Ocean was enjoying her mere moment of solitude before the camp started. Running a hand through her curly locks to keep her hair manageable for the week. She had the proper tools and things packed away for camp! Hehe! It will be a good experience Ocean was most assured about that!

Ocean’s eyes fluttered open when she heard some footsteps heading her way and a very excited yet happy voice speaking to her. She couldn’t help but smile at how excited the other seemed to be. Letting out a soft giggle. Nothing mean in nature or anything. She thought that Chess was a little endearing is all! “Hello there……My name is Ocean. A pleasure to meet you, Chess!” She began in her soft kind tone of voice. Her voice was always calm and collected. Much like the serenity of the ocean. Serene and Calm described Ocean very well honestly.

“Favorite dinosaur? Hmmm…..Uhm perhaps Ornithomimus…..But I think I prefer the more aquatic varieties like Mosasaur and Plesiosaur” She spoke kindly. Not mean natured at all. “ I got invited here because of my Blog. I write about aquatic creatures both ancient and new “ She explained softly. Ocean did not mine the barrage of questions.

“ But yes! I am quite excited to be here! “ She added calmly with another giggle.

Birdie didn’t seem like the type of girl to go camping, seeming like the shopping type of girl who preferred to stay clean and wear the best clothes out there. Well, she definitely loves the best fashion trends and all that, but this is the chance to see real life dinosaurs! How could Birdie pass up an opportunity like this?

Seriously, Birdie would be crazy to pass up an amazing opportunity like this. To see real life dinosaurs up close! Fae wasn’t going to let this slip by, fae’s going to Camp Cretaceous! Birdie gets to see dinosaurs! Real dinosaurs! No more having to flip through books or having to stick to dinosaur documentaries. Birdie was looking forward to seeing all kinds of dinosaurs. Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Allosaurus, Brachiosaurus, there's going to be so many dinosaurs for her and the fellow campers to see!

Not only was Birdie going to Camp Cretaceous, but her twin brother Otto was going too. Their mother is a dinosaur veterinarian, so she was able to get both Birdie and Otto a spot at the camp. They get to see what their mom does at work! Well, sort of. There will probably be times where the twins will run into their mom. That’s the only reason they’re able to go, the twins aren’t rich enough to afford something expensive like that.

One night, mom had brought it up over dinner. And she had offered both of them a spot at the camp. So obviously Birdie had jumped up and exclaimed that she wanted to go. Kinda unexpected from Birdie but hey, she’s going!

Mom was already there so she wasn’t there to see Birdie and Otto off. But the twins will definitely see their mother at some point during the week. The hours-long trip had dragged on for what felt like a lifetime, being dragged out because of anticipation and excitement. There’s so much to look forward to! Do you think the campers will get to hand feed dinosaurs and pet the dinosaurs? That will be fun to do!

There’s no reason to be homesick, mom will be there too! And there’ll be new friends to make and fun activities! Lots to look forward to at Camp Cretaceous! Otto had been more reluctant to go, otter’s more of an indoors kind of guy. Like, Otto wanted to go but otter was reluctant. But in the end, both are going camping for a whole week.

“Come on Otto, mom will be there!” Birdie had assured Otto, “you can get to see dinosaurs up close! And I bet you can stay inside and read or something if you don’t wanna do an outdoor activity.” Birdie had done faer best to cheer Otto up. Camping won’t be so bad. It’ll be great! Birdie and Otto will have fun at Camp Cretaceous!

Birdie had packed for the weeklong camping trip, bringing all of the necessities that should last her a week, and just some things that weren't really camping equipment like makeup. Birdie's got to look her best for opening week of Camp Cretaceous after all.

Birdie and the other campers were gathered on the dock with their luggage, waiting to be picked up.

The camp counselors had yet to arrive so there was some free time to hang around and talk before the counselors arrived to take them to the camp. Birdie and Otto had broken off from each other to do their own thing by now. Birdie had set faer suitcase on the dock and was sitting down right beside it. How long until the counselors come to pick them up? The weather was warm and uncomfortable, Birdie couldn’t wait to get inside and just flop down onto a bed or sofa.

It was a shame Birdie couldn’t bring faer phone, apparently only those who are gonna give the camp exposure could bring their phones. At least that’s what Birdie has heard. How long are the counselors going to keep them waiting? This weather is too uncomfortable! Fae might as well make the most of the free time and touch up on faer makeup a little bit before the counselors came to pick the group up.

Settled comfortably on the dock, Birdie was touching up on faer makeup just a little bit, using a compact mirror to see what fae was doing.

Fern was so super excited about this opportunity as her family wasn’t super wealthy or anything. Fern was a bit of a farm girl. Well her family owned a farm and was on of the meat providers for the park so that was the only reason , She could attend! She was curious on who else would be there. Would they be nice? Hopefully as down to earth as Fern is. But she didn’t really know.

It was going to be a positively fun experience Fern just knew it! She had only seen fossils at the museums and occasional documentaries up till that point. Not that she wasn’t more curious to learn more! She was but it wasn’t like her family could afford a ton of books and the nearest library was hours away! Living in the middle of nowhere problems, I guess! But she was curious on what kinds of Dinos they would see at the camp! Oh! Goodness Real Dinos!

Wow this was going to be oh so much fun!


Fern was floored to be able to even get to go. Maybe make some new friends too! Friends where hard to come by being homeschooled so she was excited for that possibility too! Ah! Fern was so looking forward to it that she and her mom had sewed a whole bunch of new clothes for the experience! Packing whatever she could in her small luggage. Probably rewearing a few things during the week but that would be okay! She doubted anyone would notice.Honestly Fern was extremely blessed when her mother gave her the letter one day after a long day of chores. Her?! Out of so many other folks?! She felt so honored! Truly it was so nice but be granted an opportunity that she may never have again! You know!

Fern had slept most of the way to the meeting point. It was a long way to get to the dock after all! Since this camp and park were on a remote island away from normal civilization. Wow! That was so cool! An Island! Her mind had been whirling with so many questions on the days leading up to the camp! Would they get the get up and close with a dinosaur? Are they tame? Could they walk among them! She had so so many questions and would be oh so sure to ask them when given the opportunity ! She wanted to make the most of this once in a lifetime experience! That was for damn sure! She was used to being outside and getting dirty from living on a farm so she had absolutely no qualms about it!

Fern was absolutely sure that she had packed everything, she would need for a week! Clothing, meds, socks, shoes, rain jacket, and so on! The list was very thought out and she had packed everything neatly into packing cubes to make it easy to find everything! Of course Fern would be a little homesick! She would miss her family, the chickens, cows, horses and all the other farm critter her family had. But She was still super duper excited about this opportunity! Yeah! Fern was!


Fern had jolted awake when they had arrived to the docks and rubbed her face a little before , She had gotten out of the vehicle with her luggage and bounded over to all the other campers with a small smile. Finding a spot to stand , as she took a moment to smooth out her clothing. The one outfit she had brough that was store bought. A surprise from her mom. Fern was honestly oh so grateful about it! Truly she was ! Once she had settled into a spot. She was glancing around to see what other folks would get to attend this amazing camp experience.


Curiously looking at everyone. Seems to be folks from all walks of life here! Soooo Coool! Fern would try not to bombard folks with too many questions though. She was raised better than to ask intrusive questions after all! She took a breath and turned to the person sitting nearest to her with a big bright smile.

“ Hello!!! My name is Fern….What’s yours? Isn’t this such a whimsical opportunity?” She asked with her little southern drawl. Not overpowering or anything just enough to be noticed. She glanced up at the sky for a moment with a happy sigh. “ Oh look the clouds are waving at us! Hello clouds!!!!” She giggled softly.

A little quirky thing she does….But hey that’s Fern!

Boy was she excited! Ah She couldn’t wait!

Jurassic World had offered to sponsor Winston’s gymnastics career if he would go to Camp Cretaceous. Well, sure why not? Winston has always wanted to go to Jurassic World, but he could never find the time or money to go thanks to focusing on his gymnastics career. So yeah, Winston never thought in a million years he would get to see dinosaurs up close and that he would be sticking to dinosaur documentaries, books, and museums. Dinosaurs are pretty cool. And seeing real life dinosaurs would be super cool and anyone would be lucky to go. But Winston? Winston didn’t think he would be able to go. He just didn’t have the time and money; Jurassic World is extremely expensive.

It had all started one day at the gym when Winston was doing gymnastics, swinging over and over again on the bar. He could’ve sworn he had seen something out of the corner of his eye but he couldn’t look right now, lest he lose his grip and fall. When Winston had finished and was patting his face with a fluffy towel, someone was approaching him. He had looked up to see someone who was clearly from Jurassic World holding out a crisp envelope towards him. There was nothing said from the Jurassic World employee, they only nodded their head and left after Winston took the envelope.

Winston tore open the envelope, discarding the envelope in favor of reading the letter that was enclosed. The letter was an invite to Camp Cretaceous in exchange for a sponsorship of Winston’s career. Is this real-life right now? Seriously, is this really happening? Winston has just been invited to come to the opening week of Camp Cretaceous! Winston had to pat his face with the towel a few times to avoid tearing up. He gets to see real life dinosaurs! This is so cool! Winston just had to tell his parents and beg them to let him go. This is too good of an opportunity for him to pass up.

Like, anybody should be absolutely thrilled to get invited to Camp Cretaceous! A place far from the city and other people full of dinosaurs. Dinosaurs that Winston will get to see up close and in person! Winston’s more of a carnivorous dinosaur lover. Like, plant eating dinosaurs are cool and all but the carnivores are definitely the best! Would Winston be able to get up close to a carnivore? Or would he get in trouble for doing that? Winston wants to get up close to a Velociraptor! Also, Velociraptors are feathered raptors, and that is the truth.

Winston had begged his parents to let him go. He’s so lucky to have Jurassic World be offering to sponsor his career if he goes to the camp! He just had to go camping. Winston’s parents had finally relented and allowed him to go.

Winston’s going to Camp Cretaceous! A week at the camp that’s going to be absolutely amazing! And Jurassic World is going to be sponsoring his gymnast career! Woooo! Amazing! And could you blame Winston for being so enthusiastic and impatient about this? He’s got so much to do before departure day and so much to pack. He’s not sure if he’ll be able to sleep because of how anxious he is. The days leading up to departure are sure to drag on but he’ll have plenty of time to pack. Winston’s heart felt like it was going to give out from how hard it was beating against his ribs from excitement.

Departure day had arrived and Winston’s parents had gone with him to see him off.

“I’ll see you guys in a week!” Winston promised, knowing it’ll just be one week and then he’ll be back home. A week at the camp would definitely fly by. He’ll miss his parents for sure but Winston wanted to have fun at Camp Cretaceous. The camp is sure to have dinosaurs from the three different time periods! The Triassic period isn’t talked about much to be honest. Seriously.

It had been hours since Winston had said farewell to his parents, and now he and the other campers were gathered on the dock waiting to be picked up by the camp counselors. Why are the counselors keeping them waiting? Winston is going to get bored if he just stands around here waiting for the counselors.

This is Camp Cretaceous, a place to let loose and have fun and not care about what others think! So Winston is going to be imitating different dinosaurs to pass the time!

“Look, I’m a Hatzegopteryx!” Winston said to no one in particular as he was doing his best to imitate the particular pterosaur. This is fun! Winston was doing an imitating screech of Hatzegopteryx. Well, Winston’s trying his best here. It might not be the best imitation of the pterosaur but who cares? Winston is having fun!

Rex was absolutely ecstatic that He won the opportunity to go to Camp Cretaceous by winning a Dinosaur trivia contest like a month before the camp was opening! It was a luck of the draw really! And anyone who knew Ty Rex knew how much , He loved Dinosaurs especially the Tyrannosaurus Rex. He named himself after it after all! Although most people just called the boy, T-Rex or just Rex. He had read so many dinosaur books, seen so many dinosaur movies and documentaries! Just all the typical affordable things that one days if they are as obsessed with dinosaurs as much as Rex was. He really was obsessed with dinosaurs. Almost everything He owned was dinosaur themed. Heh! Just a few clothing items that were not and his backpack wasn’t. He was 16 , so He did have to chill a little bit though He didn’t give a flying pterodactyl about it! He had always wanted to go with Jurassic World but His family couldn’t afford such a extravagant trip but here He was winning a chance to go just by knowing a lot of facts about Dinosaurs!



He had honestly only entered into the trivia contest for fun during the beginning of summer break! Wow He never thought, He would have won such a fantastic prize from just simple trivia though!! Wow! Ah!!! He still honestly couldn’t believe it! His folks couldn’t even believe it! Who would have though that little Ty Rex Jones would have won an opportunity to attend such a fantastic camp! He certainly did not! He was still trying to wrap his head around it when He had began to pack for the camp. Making sure to cram as much dinosaur paraphernalia as He could into his suitcase. Nothing illegal or against the rules or anything. Just some prized books and stuffies and all that good stuff!



It's cute! No need to think too much into it okay!

It didn’t take much persuading honestly for Rex to get his parents to allow him to go on such a trip! A once in a million year opportunity! Yeah! Heh! It was! It was honestly so cool and exciting!!! Rex was so thankful to be able to go. Thanking his family every day leading up to the day to leave for the camp! He was so so thankful! His mom also Helped him pack too so that He wouldn’t forget anything! Knowing Rex He probably would if his mother didn’t help honestly! So He was also thankful for that! Heh nice!



Rex would be forever grateful for this experience! Getting to see Dinosaurs- His favorite thing in the entire word for real! WOWZA!!!


It was absolutely guaranteed to be an amazing camp experience for sure! I mean come on! An island!



Real life Dinos! Rex was very much hoping that He would get to see his favorite dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus Rex! Like He did love all dinos but that giant reptile with the little arms was in particular his favorite. If not most obviously by his chosen name! Heh! He loved that carnivore so much. Maybe He could feed one, if allowed?! He hoped they at least had picture opportunities with one! He’d like to see other dinosaurs too! Like Dilophosaurus, Pteranodon, Allosaurus, Gallimimus, and Pachycephalosaurus! And many others as well! He wanted to see as many dinosaurs as He possible can after all!
Finally the day of the Camp arrived and Rex had not slept a wink. He was way too excited to get any sleep before it was Jurassic Park’s Camp Cretaceous! Boy was He excited if his constant energy and bouncy mannerisms where not a dead giveaway of how excited , He was then I don’t know what is! The whole hours long trip to the dock , He had probably driven his parents crazy with all his dinosaurs facts.



Heh that’s Rex for you!


So many Dinosaurs!!! And Rex wanted to them all right?! Right! He had double checked his things for days leading up till He and his parents started making the long trek to the meeting point for Camp Cretaceous!! Wow is Rex excited! Boy He is! Truly, He is so dang excited! Truly! He had been bouncing around his house for days rambling off dinosaur facts.


“ Did you know that Nigersaurus has up to 500 teeth!” He replied excitedly.

“ Yes dear, you’ve said that fact twice already” His mom sighed with a chuckle.

“ Oops sorry Mama!” He replied a bit embarrassed.

But they had finally arrived ah!!! Rex had unbuckled so fast and got this things out of the car before hugging both of his parents tightly. “ I will miss you both oh so much! But it’s only a week long so I will see you soon!” He mused to them softly before running to the dock , backpack and suitcase in hand as He made a spot for himself to await the counselors.

Settling down his things as He sat on his suitcase.


Rex took a moment to glance around at everyone. He only had intentions to fully be his dorky self here anyhow! He didn’t truly know anyone here yet so why not!

It will be oh so much fun! Hehe!



Rex took a moment to just relax before He heard another fellow camper do a dinosaur imitation and you know for absolute sure that that immediately peaked his interest as He jumped off his suitcase. “ AH THAT’S DINORIFFIC!” He complemented with a happy clap. No matter if it was perfect or not. It was all in good fun or not! “ May I join your dino impressions? My name is Ty Rex but People just call me Rex or T-Rex” He replied with a bright smile offering out his hand for a shake.

Honestly, Otto’s more of an indoors kind of guy. Really, otter is. Otter’s safe indoors! Nothing bad can happen to Otto indoors. So when mama brought up Camp Cretaceous, Otto didn’t know what to think. Don’t get otter wrong, Otto loves dinosaurs! Otter knows a lot about dinosaurs. But still.

Otto gets to spend a week at Camp Cretaceous with otters twin sister Birdie and some other campers who had managed to grab a spot. Otto couldn’t believe it at first. Like, really? Is this really happening? Or is this some kind of dream? Is Otto dreaming?

Well, like a lot of people in the world, Otto finds dinosaurs to be fascinating and amazing. But never in sixty-five million years would Otto think that he and Birdie could go to Camp Cretaceous. The Fischer family is not rich enough to afford something so expensive. But, the twin’s mama is a dinosaur veterinarian for Jurassic World. Yeah.

Going to Camp Cretaceous is a lot to process. Opening week of the camp and Otto and his twin sister Birdie get to go.

Mama had brought it up over dinner one night, and Otto had been picking at the steamed broccoli on otters plate. Eat your greens Otto. Otto prefers sweets, having a massive sweet tooth. That’s when mama had brought it up, saying that Jurassic World is inviting people to the opening week of Camp Cretaceous and that she was going to be there. Birdie had exclaimed that fae wanted to go camping. Otto had mixed feelings about it, to be honest. Like, camping on an island with real life dinosaurs sounds amazing and like a dream come true but Otto’s reluctant.

What if the dinosaurs are carrying some kind of disease? It’s silly to think of that because otters mama is a dinosaur veterinarian of all things. She takes care of sick and injured dinosaurs. She’s going to make sure nothing happens to Otto, Birdie, and the other campers. And it’s not like the camp counselors are going to let anything happen to the campers. Otto feels a little silly. The hypochondriac in Otto was yelling at otter to not go, to decline the offer and just let Birdie go.

But, Otto wanted to go. To see real life dinosaurs up close in person. Not just having to stick to documentaries and books. You know what? Otto’s going to go. He’s going to Camp Cretaceous with Birdie.

It’s fine; mama’s going to be there and Birdie too! Everything’s going to be just fine and there’s nothing for Otto to worry about. Nothing at all. Otto will have a great time at Camp Cretaceous! In fact, Birdie had reassured Otto that everything was going to be okay. Yeah, everything’s going to be alright. And so, Otto was going alongside Birdie to the opening week of Camp Cretaceous. Yep. Otto’s more relaxed now.

Otto’s determined to have fun at Camp Cretaceous, he just has to let loose and have fun for a whole week. One week and it’s back to going home. The week is most likely going to go by fast and before Otto knows it, he’ll be going home. For now, Otto’s going to try otters best to have fun.

Otto had days to pack, and quite frankly he packed lots of hand sanitizer and disinfectant. Just to be on the safe side of course, one can never have too much hand sanitizer on hand. Otto’s just being cautious and prepared, that’s all. Otto made sure to pack a week's worth of clothes and pajamas, books, his favorite blanket, and anything that would be deemed worthy of camping. He’s probably overpacking but one cannot be too careful. Just being on the safe side, that’s all! Otto’s always careful and prepared.

Mama was already on the island so it was just Birdie and Otto. Getting to the island will take hours, hours of finding something to do until arriving at the secluded island. For the most part, Otto had spent the time reading some of the books he had brought along with him. Reading is nice and relaxing. It passes the time.

The campers had finally arrived at the island. It’s secluded and surrounded by water, away from civilization. The camp counselors were nowhere in sight; did they forget that there are campers coming here? No, that’s not right, the counselors will be here soon! The campers just have to wait a little bit.

Birdie had broken off from Otto to sit next to her suitcase so she could touch up on her makeup. This left Otto to do what otter wanted until the counselors arrived to come and pick the campers up. Otto fidgeted with otters fingers, twisting the urge to bite otters fingernails out of sheer nervousness. What should otter do? When are the counselors coming? Otto looked down at the water around the dock; there're not any prehistoric reptiles in there right? You know… like Kronosaurus and other marine reptiles.

Otto moved a little away from the edge of the dock and he set his suitcase down so he could sit down. Otto has a hard time sitting still for long periods of time but what else was there to do but wait? Otto settled down on his suitcase, waiting for the camp counselors to arrive.

But for now, it’s time to put on some hand sanitizer. Otto took out one of his many hand sanitizer bottles to put some on.

Reggie was albeit a bit over excited about the prospect of going to Camp Cretaceous. He was practically jumping for joy about the idea of seeing actual dinosaurs. Unlike most people, going to the camp. His grandfather had just paid for him to go! His family was quite wealthy…..Old Money some would say. Oil drilling company, Reggie though and not that He was all too happy about the environmental impact that causes. He truly wasn’t happy about that. He wasn’t! He wished the camp was more than a week just to get away from his entitled parents but alas A week was all He got. Which in all honestly was better than nothing He supposed.

Dinosaurs were something that Reggie always liked since they were little after all! He like most kids had a dinosaur phase but He dd not ever truly grow out of it. They weren’t quite his main interest anymore as Reggie was very much into the glam rock and punk schene at the moment with Goth music always be a favorite too. What could He say? He was a bit of the black sheep of his family! But all and all Reggie was thrilled they got the experience that they could attend the camp. Even if old man Blackwood paid for it.

Reggie had to beg for weeks to get the man to even consider it anyhow! But He succeeded! Opening week of the Camp too! Wow was He lucky! They were a lucky man! Hehe! Camping with Dinosaurs was an opportunity of a lifetime any how and with how over the top Reggie tended to be it was all to perfect of an opportunity to not go! He was so excited about it! What clothes should He pack? What jewerly should I change before He went?! Could He fit all his hair products into the bags, He could take? He wasn’t entirely sure but He’d figure it out! He was not gonna let his mother’s assistant pack for him! Nope! He wanted to dress how he wanted to for the trip not look the way his family wanted too!

Reggie was one thing, not boring or plain for sure!

Reggie was not going to be the prim and proper young man that his family wanted him to be. Nope they wanted to do their own thing at this Camp. Just be their flamboyant , dramatic self ! A bit theatrical one might say! But that is okay! That is Reggie for you! He was sure the whole camp vibe would be oh so much fun! After all! It’s a once in a lifetime experience! Indeed it is! Well Reggie probably could afford to go again but He had his doubts that his family would allow it! Most likely not!


How bloody difficult they were the deal with! Ugh! Reggie did not like it one bit! Nope Reggie did not! The weeks and days leading up to the whole week of Camp Cretaceous, Reggie had begun the painstakingly long process of picking out everything for the camp! He wanted to make sure that He absolutely looked flawless during the week after all! Just dramatic things here! Multiple outfits changes per day, If He could swing it after all! That was entirely his plan! Hehe yeah! Nice! He needed to make sure that his presence at the camp would be absolutely unforgettable all right! That was his plan! A great plan! At least Reggie thought so! Reggie always did look their best though! So He was not entirely too worried about that hehe! Nope not one bit! He would pack many fabulous outfits and accessories knowing him! Probably some camp things too but not enough to matter! It was just a week after all!



He had finally been satisfied with everything that He packed the night before after unpacking and repacking things by outfits and days and packed multiple big brimmed hats. What can they say? They love lose hats! It was going to be a grand adventure for sure! Much more interesting than interring with grandfather that was for sure! Reggie did not give a dog damn about that! Nope no He didn’t! He wanted to go into Theatre or Music! Not being an oil tycoon! Yuck! Gross! Not Reggie’s jam.


The Morning of the trip. Reggie packed away his toiletries and makeup and all that good stuff before finally saying bye to his folks and grandma to enjoy his week away. Boy was He super excited! No more proper manners and tea time and all that boring fancy pants stuff! Eww! Not Reggie’s jam at all! Nope this guy wanted to have fun and look fabulous while doing it! And learn stuff about Dino’s that He had previously did not know!


Once Reggie had made it to the island with the fellow campers. Reggie had been smiling brightly. He was so excited. It was plain to see. Now it was time for Reggie to shine!


The counselor had not arrived to fetch them yet so Reggie was going to make the most of this time alone with the fellow campers. Giving some winks as He passed a few of them. What can He say? He’s a little bit of a flirt when He wants to be and He knows in this outfit in particular, He looks so dang good! Confident , He always ways but in this. He felt so confident! Hehe! Reggie wanted to make an good first impression after all! He walked around with his bags and such for a few moments before finally finding an empty space and plopped down his bags and sat down on one of the beams of the dock crossing his legs.


Reggie was confident that He could keep his balance. He was! He let out a whistle for a moment before glancing to the person next to him and leaned in with a cheeky grin. “Hey there……” He began to speak, his tone of voice on purpose a little smooth and flirty. What can He say? Reggie was a little bit of a flirt on occasion with a soft chuckle. Leaning back and running a hand through his own hair in just the right away to keep up the flirty atmosphere. “ You are cute”

Cypress could not believe it. They couldn’t believe they’re so lucky right now.

One day, Cypress had received an email from Jurassic World expressing how much they would love for Cypress to come to the opening week of Camp Cretaceous to give them some exposure for when the camp officially opens to more people. Apparently, it’s going to be a select few campers who get to experience opening week, and Cypress was invited! Wow!

They were quick to jump to type up a reply to the email, saying that they were definitely going to come to Camp Cretaceous for opening week. Yep, Cypress is going to be there! For sure! Cypress wouldn’t miss this opportunity for the whole, entire world. Who would not want to go see real dinosaurs?

One of Cypress’ special interests is dinosaurs! They know a whole lot about dinosaurs and can ramble for hours on end about dinosaur facts. And Cypress gets to capture real dinosaurs on film for their followers to see! Cypress is sure to gather more followers from this weeklong adventure! Cypress is going to have fun petting dinosaurs and probably hand feeding them and doing outdoor activities. How could they not have fun at a dinosaur camp? One would be crazy to not want to see dinosaurs up close.

Cypress is a social media influencer who focuses on making dinosaur-oriented videos. Whether it be dinosaur facts, dinosaur documentary reviews, dinosaur movie reviews, that sort of stuff you know. So, it’s no surprise that Jurassic World is inviting Cypress Petrova to Camp Cretaceous in order to give them some exposure and recognition. So yeah, Cypress is probably the only one allowed to have a phone at camp.

Cypress has always wanted to go to Jurassic World and see real dinosaurs. But their family isn’t rich and couldn’t afford the expensive tickets. Of course, Jurassic World would be expensive; it’s a park full of real dinosaurs! Well, Cypress is pretty content with hugging their many dinosaur plushies and watching documentaries and reading books. And making videos! But they’re actually going to Camp Cretaceous! Dinosaur camp! Cypress wanted to jump up and down with joy from how excited they are right now. And Cypress is going to be so impatient waiting for the day of departure to arrive.

"Come on mama and papa!" Cypress called out to their parents as they bounded ahead of their parents, bouncing up and down. The day is here! It's really here! Cypress is going to Camp Cretaceous for a whole week! They're excited and a rolling ball of energy right now! "Cypress slow down." Their mother laughed a little at Cypress' enthusiasm. Oh, Cypress is going to miss their parents! But it's just for one week. "I'm going to see real dinosaurs!" Cypress exclaimed at the top of their lungs, not caring if they were being stared at.

"Oh, I'm going to miss you guys so much!" Cypress gave their parents a farewell hug. "But I'll see you in one week." They promised. One week to make new friends and have as much fun as possible.

That was hours ago.

Cypress hung around with the other campers at the dock while waiting for the counselors to come pick them up. Will they see a dinosaur here on the docks? That would be amazing! Cypress wanted to see some dinosaurs now. Right now. No waiting required. Where are the dinosaurs? Will dinosaurs react if Cypress tried to "pspspsp" them out from the bushes? Cypress wants to pet some dinosaurs! Where are they at?

Cypress took out their phone; thankful that they were allowed to bring their phone with them. Anything to give Camp Cretaceous some exposure! Did the camp have outlets so that Cypress could charge their phone when need be? Well, surely they must if they're allowing them to have their phone. Okay, they can do this. Just do their normal thing when they make a new video, easy as that. Time to get the camera rolling! Once Cypress had the video rolling, Cypress beamed a bright smile.

"Hello groves," that's what Cypress called their followers, "It's me, Cypress. I am here on the dock of Camp Cretaceous waiting to be picked up by the camp counselors!" Energetic opening! Cypress moved around the dock, rolling their suitcase along behind them, "there's no dinosaurs here yet but I promise you guys will get to see some real dinosaurs soon! Now, let's say hello to the other campers!" Cypress talked to the camera with a beaming, energetic smile.

They swiveled around on the heels of their feet to see who the camera would land on first.

"You!" Cypress pointed at the nearest person to them, an extremely tall blonde-haired person. Then again, everyone is tall to short 5'0" Cypress. "What's your name and are you excited to be here at Camp Cretaceous to see real dinosaurs? And what is your favorite dinosaur?" Cypress questioned eagerly.

Saylor could not wait for the opportunity to see what his parents do for a living!

It was not often that his parents spoke about what exactly they did as Paleontologists at Jurassic World. Not often at all! The whole entire place had really been secretive since the mishaps at the first facility! But one night at dinner his parents had offered him the opportunity of a lifetime! To go to the opening week of Camp Cretaceous! Wow was He ever so lucky! Truly he was!

Saylor was eager to agree to go to the camp and see what his folks do for a living! Why wouldn’t he?! They were paleontologists after all, and He did love dinosaurs a lot! But Who didn’t love dinosaurs really! They are amazing! Nobody in their right mind would ever not take this opportunity!

Saylor had indeed bombarded his parents with tons of questions after He excitedly said he’d love to go. But I mean who wouldn’t ask a ton of questions about a camp where not fossilized dinosaurs where! NOT FOSSILIZED! ALIVE DINOSAURS!!! How cool is that?! Truly it was awesome! Saylor was a bit curious with how little his parents told him. But you know the mystery made it more interesting for sure! It was the last time , He could probably even go to a camp being 18 and all. Just freshly turned 18. What did this camp have in store hmm? Petting dinos? Photo opportunities?! Who knows! Saylor was just thrilled about it!

He so was!!!

Saylor was just honored to be given the opportunity at all. He wasn’t anyone famous or special or anything so the fact his parents had gotten the offer to give him the opportunity was very thrilling! So cool right?! Camp Cretaceous would be so super amazing! The blonde was sure about it! Saylor was! This was going to be so super cool right! He had always wanted to go and now He could! So super awesome!!!

Saylor was absolutely giddy and delighted for days with the news of being able to go! He was going to be like a kid in a candy store for sure! Heh! It was so awesome! Real dinosaurs! In the flesh! Wow! Awesome! An average guy like him getting to go! Just wow! So awesome!!! It truly was! Saylor had taken the opportunity to research as much about dinosaurs to refresh his memory to make sure He was going to be as knowledgeable as the rest of them! Hehe! Yeah! SO cool! He had packed his suitcase a week prior trying to make sure He did not forget anything! That wouldn’t do right?! Even though it was only a week long. You can’t be too prepared right?!


It was so awesome truly! And now the day of Saylor’s grand adventure had arrived! Heh Wow! So cool! It was truly so awesome! His parents were both already at the camp working so He was content in knowing that. His grandparents having dropped him off at place to take them to the island. Yeah! It would be nice right! He hugged his grandparents tight with a big smile. “ Going to miss you both so much! It will only be a week though!” He whispered softly giving them both one final hug. Before heading off to the dock o the island.

Wow this was so super amazing!!!

Right?! I mean come on!

He was excited to see what Camp Cretaceous had in store for them! It was oh so awesome! Saylor was super excited. He was. His eyes were shining in delight at this! One week of absolute fun it would be for sure! He just knew it!


Now it was waiting for counselors’ time! Hehe! Yeah! SO cool! Now He just had to hope He could see his folks while they were at the camp right! Saylor hoped He could see his mother and father!!!


Now it was just a long wait till the counselors actually pick them up. Well long in the sense that Saylor actually had no clue when they were arriving or anything they would be doing at the camp. He had been so excited that He was pacing the dock while I waited. He couldn’t sit still! Who would?! C’mon they were going to see actual freaking dinosaurs right?! So awesome! Saylor was so excited about that. He placed his luggage neatly away from the water as He paced.


Excited pacing really! No nervousness here at all! Dinosaurs were so awesome! Saylor couldn’t wait! He couldn’t! It was so exciting to finally be here and the long trek to the island was long forgotten really! When will they get to see the dinosaurs?! Saylor wanted to know! “ Ahh this is sooo cool!” He squealed to himself. Smiling pretty goofily. What can he say?! He’s excited hehe


Saylor’s pacing finally came to a end as He moved to go stand near his things to keep an eye on his luggage of course! Saylor did not want to lose anything. But He was still super duper excited!!! He was!!! What where they going to do at camp today? He wanted to know! He was thrilled. His eyes had wandered out to stare at the ocean from the dock just curious if anything could be in the water.

Maybe?Who knows?!Saylor sure hecking did not know! But that was okay! Maybe the counselors would tell him! Well not just him but everyone truly!



At least that was probably going to be what happens! Saylor was making assumptions here. He was doing his best! His mind was still focused on the ocean. When He heard a voice and turned to see a camera focused on him and an excited person. He blinked slowly tilting head head. “ Could you um repeat that sorry?” He asked with a chuckle rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. He had been in his own world and completely missed what they said.

An awkward but sweet fellow Saylor was!

Chess missed both of faer moms already even though it’s only been a few hours since fae last saw them. Fae’s kind of homesick but fae knows that fae will have an amazing time at Camp Cretaceous. Can fae bring home faer very own pet dinosaur? That would be so amazing! A pet dinosaur for Chess! Or do the dinosaurs have to stay here on the island? Either way, Chess is ready to see some dinosaurs. And there’s new friends to make! It’s quite easy for Chess to make friends if people can keep up with faer enthusiasm. Chess isn’t sure if fae can wait long enough to see some dinosaurs.

Chess is just happy to be here. Fae’s so lucky to be here!

But right now, it seems that Chess is going to have to wait to see some dinosaurs. Fae expected there to be some tiny dinosaurs running around the dock but apparently not. Where are the dinosaurs at? Where are the camp counselors at? Should everyone just start walking in a direction and hope to arrive at camp? No, it’s best to stay put right now. There’s some free time and Chess is using it to make new friends with the fellow campers. Yay new friends! Chess gets to spend a whole week making new friends!

Chess had left faer luggage where it was at in favor of rambling to faer new friend. Well, hopefully a new friend.

New friend! Hello new friend named Ocean! Ocean is a uniquely pleasant name, just like Chess! Yay! It seems that Ocean doesn’t mind how energetic and hyper Chess is, which is good because Chess is a bubbly, rolling ball of chaotic energy. “Wow, Ocean is such a pretty name! You have a very pretty name Ocean!” Chess rambled with a big grin on faer face. Hooray that Ocean doesn’t mind Chess rambling!

Ornithomimus! That’s a great dinosaur! Then again, all dinosaurs are great and amazing! Chess loves dinosaurs. That's pretty obvious though isn’t it? “Ornithomimus is a great dinosaur! But all dinosaurs are amazing!” Chess reiterated what fae had been thinking.

Oh, Ocean prefers aquatic marine reptiles? Like Liopleurodon and Mosasaur! That’s so cool! “Cool! Have you seen those dinosaur documentaries and they show the prehistoric marine reptiles and the ocean? Yeah, I love those. They’re so cool, honestly my favorite part of dinosaur documentaries! Prehistoric marine reptiles are so cool and fascinating!” And there fae goes again with the rambling.

Ocean doesn’t mind though so that’s okay. Chess is just excited to be here at Camp Cretaceous and make new friends. You can’t blame faer for that. Chess is a bubbly, energetic girl who loves to ramble a lot.

“You have a blog? That’s amazing! I bet there’s going to be a lot of fun things here you can write on your blog! I’m so excited to be here, like I’ve always wanted to see some real life dinosaurs!” Chess was rocking back and forth on faer toes. The camp counselors have yet to arrive, so there’s plenty of time to talk to Ocean.

“Do you think we’ll get to pet and hand feed dinosaurs? I wanna be able to pet some dinosaurs!” Yep, fae’s extremely excited to be here.

Ocean was most curious on when she’s find the time to write for her blog here. She had up keep her schedule blogging consistent after all. She did bring her laptop. Yep. She did! She was sure, She could find time to write here…….Hopefully they have wifi! She was asked to come for exposure after all. Seeing Dinosaurs would be so awesome and cool though! Where the dinosaurs out just roaming or where they contained? She was excited to find out. She had to give the scoop for her readers after all! But whatever happened , She knew that she would have a blast right! C’mon real life dinosaurs!!!
An Opportunity of a lifetime after all!!!

Dinosaurs would be seen soon, Ocean was sure of that. The counselors would be here any minute now! They would definitely! No doubt about that! Ocean was most sure that would happen soon! They wouldn’t leave them alone too long right?! They were teens yes but still it was a camp they were supposed to be supervised! It was going to be a fun week! Ocean was curious on what they would do first? Drop off the luggage most likely!

Ocean had found Chess’ energy and bubbliness quite endearing honestly! It was a lot more unique than most people she had interacted with over the year thus far! It was truly a refreshing thing to see for sure! Heh! Ocean was calm and collected for sure but she enjoyed being around energetic folks! It was nice for sure! She flushed a bit at the compliment of her name a bit. “ Oh…Well thank you…..My mum choose a nice one I think!’ She replied softly waving her hand a bit sheepishly.

Dinosaurs were absolutely amazing! Even Ocean thinks so! Even if she has a preference for prehistoric marine reptiles. Both were so awesome and amazing right?! Right! “ That is absolutely the truth!” Ocean replied with a chuckle and nod. “ It’s quite nice to see how excited you are about this!” She added settling her hands on her lap. Enjoying the cool breeze from the island. " Isn't this weather just so nice too!" She added enjoying the warm weather and cool breeze. It was nice! Breezes in the summer was fantastic!

Ocean gave a nod. The ancient waters were amazing and cool! SO many cool creatures had lived in them. She had written many blog posts about it in the past. She could talk about that that all day and night truly! She could! “ I have seen those documentaries! They are honestly so cool and awesome! So awesome indeed! Really! So cool! Which one is your favorite?" She asked polietey just trying to keep the coversation going here. Ocean truly did not mind the rambling! It was nice seeing how excited Chess was really! A bit repative I know but heh! It’s cute and just true! Ocean was just smiling away here ! She was!

“ Why thank you! I am hoping to write a good blog post about this place! I think dinosaurs and Camp will be a fun thing to write about on the blog! So many cool experiences here I am sure to write about! Maybe if you’d like I can interview you about what you’ve experienced here too! Different perspectives are always lovely right!” She offered kindly! Plus an opportunity to make a new friend was always a plus too! Ocean loved having more friends! Ocean was a lovely gal after all! A lovely lady indeed! She got up off her luggage a bit to stretch a bit. “ Do you think they conselors would be here soon? I am not sure how long we are supposed to just sit here?” She asked. Not that she wanted to stop talking with Chess at all….She just did not to spend the entire first day at the dock.



Now that sounded so cool! Ocean smiled a bit more at that. “ Hmmm Now that would be so cool! I assume probably we could to some of the herbivores? Feel like carnivores might be too risky!” She mused out loud. But who knows! Maybe the dinosaurs here were more tame! You truly never knew!



This place was so cool! Ocean was ecstatic!

The camp counselors have yet to arrive; what’s taking them so long? They shouldn’t be leaving the campers alone in this horrid, summer weather. But Birdie assumed that’s to be expected with camping; this is faer first time camping. Yeah. Fae’s not got any experience with camping so this is a new experience for faer. It’s sure to be fun though, Birdie’s all for this week long camping adventure. It’s going to be amazing! And there’s no reason to be homesick since mom’s going to be here too taking care of the sick and injured dinosaurs.

It was going to be a week full of making friends and having fun. Birdie is growing a little impatient though with the counselors. She came here to see some real dinosaurs so let’s get a move on! It does give Birdie some time to look faer best though. Though, Birdie did wonder what activity they’re going to do first when they arrive at the camp. Maybe it’ll be best to settle in first and get used to the new surroundings even if Birdie and the campers wanted to see some dinosaurs.

Birdie was touching up on her makeup, wondering when she would be able to see her mom. Where her mom is at then surely there will be some dinosaurs. Personally, Birdie’s favorite dinosaur is Spinosaurus, they’re so cool and amazing. Spinosaurus is just a really cool dinosaur, and then again all dinosaurs are cool and awesome to look at. Birdie looked up from her compact mirror to see how Otto was doing.

Someone was talking to Otto, someone that Birdie doesn’t know. Well, Camp Cretaceous is a good place to make new friends after all. Seeing that Otto was doing just fine, albeit a little nervous, Birdie went back to what she had been doing. Just waiting for the counselors to arrive to pick her and the other campers up. It shouldn’t be much longer, though.

Birdie was doing faer thing, waiting for the sound of a vehicle approaching, when fae heard a voice right next to faer.

Oh, is someone talking to her? Yep, someone’s talking to her. A potential new friend maybe. Fern. That’s a really cute name. It really is. Birdie gave Fern a small smile, putting her things away in her bag. “My name is Birdie.” Fae introduced faerself to Fern with a small smile on faer lips. Just friendly things here of course. “Yes, this is such an amazing opportunity. This place is honestly so amazing.” She agreed with Fern with a small nod of her head. Fern seems like a great person to talk to! Very energetic and bubbly. Yep, an extremely lovely person to talk to!

“So, how’d you get here? I'm here with my twin brother, our mom is a dinosaur veterinarian here.” Birdie explained before she continued, “she was able to get both of us a spot here.” She continued to explain. “I'm just ready to see some real dinosaurs. What’s your favorite dinosaur?” Birdie inquired with a small smile. Fern can definitely be Birdie’s new friend.

“Personally, my favorite dinosaur is Spinosaurus. All dinosaurs are cool but Spinosaurus is my favorite.”

Fern was curious about what activites and such would happen at the camp. Her family didn’t really know too much about this place anyhow just being one of many meats supplier for the dinosaurs. She wasn’t the biggest fan of cat as She loved creatures big and small. But it would still be a fun experience right! Plus Fern grew up on a farm so camping was going to be a breeze anyhow! She was used to very little luxuries! So this would end up being a breeze! Hopefully anyhow. Of course, she missed her folks but she knew this week would fly by and she’d see them soon. But she planned on enjoying every moment here.


So many cool opportunities here too! You know!! She could meet people of all walks of life and make many new friends and such! It was going to be so awesome! Fern just knew so! She did! She was much looking forward to it anyhow! Yeah! SO cool! So much to look forward to here! Plus they would get to meet Dinosaurs most likely! How totally awesome was that! Hopefully the counselors would arrive soon so they could get on it but she was going to make the most of the wait! Hehe yeah!

It would be wise to make use of getting to know one’s fellow campers anyhow right! Right! It was most wise that way! Heh! Fern was looking forward to meeting many folks and making so many new friends! Well she intended too anyhow! Friends sounded amazing! She didn’t have many back home and having non animal companions sounded nice! But Fern would definitely try to befriend a dinosaur too! Hopefully her farm skills would come in handy yeah.

Fern gaze around curious to see what other folks had been invited or whatever else people do to get into Camp Cretaceous, probably be a super expensive anyhow! She was so looking forward to this whole experience! Ah! She was super looking forward to the experience of the camp! The counselors had to show up soon! Righty! Before her gaze turned onto the person beside her and start just talking excitedly away!

Fern was super excited and was gabbing away!

What can she say? She's thrilled and excited!!!

Fern was smiling brightly at the prospect of a new friend! A potential new friend wow! So cool! Fern was hyped and excited for sure! Smiles all around here from Fern! Yup for sure! Hehe! “ A pleasure to meet you Birdie!” She replied with a big nod and grin. Birdie was a pretty name! It was no question about that! So pretty! Fern was absolutely happy as can be to have someone to talk too! Fern could probably talk for hours! She could! “ I so look forward to seeing what is in store for us at this camp you know! Real dinosaurs just wow! You think we can befriend a dino? Give it a hug?” She asked clasping her hands together excitedly. She was so giddy!

Happy to be able to talk to another camper!



Fern thought for a moment. “ I live on a farm that helps supply the meat for the park and camp so that is how I got invited to go! Oh? You’re a twin?! That is so cool! A dinosaur veterinarian for a mom sounds honestly even cooler! Wow! So cool! “ She quipped excitedly! Albiet a bit rambly but that was Fern for you! “ Oh um favorite dino?! My favorite is Parasaurolophus! But Albertosaurus is a close second! Maybe we could see them here! Wow so Cool! Dinosaurs are so awesome and Spinosaurus is so cool too!” She added at the end with a contagious laugh.

Winston couldn’t believe it’s been hours since he last saw his parents. And he wasn’t allowed to bring his phone with him. No phone for a whole week. Apparently only the kids who are giving the camp some exposure were allowed to bring their mobile devices with them. That’s fair enough.

Winston is just here because Jurassic World is offering to sponsor his gymnastics career. And Winston is very much happy to be here! Who wouldn’t be happy and ecstatic to be here? Winston is very happy to be here! A whole week of seeing real dinosaurs!

Winston was trying his best here with imitating the pterosaur Hatzegopteryx. Who cares what others think of him? He’s having fun! They’re at a dinosaur camp, so how could he not want to imitate different dinosaurs? It’s amazing. Okay, Winston is definitely going to miss his parents during the week long camping adventure but he’s going to have fun! A week long of fun and dinosaur imitations.

Imitating dinosaurs is honestly really fun! It’ll pass the time while waiting for the camp counselors to arrive. No boredom here! None at all, only dinosaur imitations! His Hatzegopteryx imitation might not be the best but at least Winston is having fun! That’s all that matters. Having fun while imitating dinosaurs! What other dinosaur should Winston try to imitate next? Hmmm, definitely a carnivorous dinosaur. After all, carnivorous dinosaurs are Winston’s favorite kind of dinosaur! Majungasaurus? Allosaurus? Quetzalcoatlus? So many options!

He’ll have to think it over once he’s done imitating Hatzegopteryx. What an amazing way to kill time. It might be a while until the camp counselors arrive! So Winston is going to make the best of the free time he has. And that’s okay. He’s going around making pterosaur screech noises or however they sounded like, without a single care in the world! Nope. No care at all, only fun here!

Well, Winston stopped when he heard someone talking.

Is someone talking in his direction? Well, is someone talking to him? Is it him they’re talking to?

Oh, someone had taken notice of Winston’s imitations! Yay! A new friend, maybe? Camp Cretaceous is the best place for making friends with other campers. At least Winston’s dinosaur imitation is getting a positive reaction from another one of the campers! Come join Winston, the more the merrier! More dinosaur imitations! It kills the time so one is not bored while waiting for the counselors to arrive! Seriously, it does.

Well, Winston is glad that his dinosaur imitations are dinorrific! Not terrific, but dinorrific! That’s better than terrific. His imitations are dinorrific! “Oh, thank you!” Time to add that word to his vocabulary. A new vocabulary word for Winston. “Come and join me! I would love to have someone to make dinosaur imitations with!” Yes, the more the merrier. Winston was happy to make dinosaur imitations with Rex!

“Your name is Ty Rex? That is absolutely amazing! I love that!” Winston was quick to compliment. An amazing name for sure! Well, Winston should introduce himself as well. It’s only polite after all. “My name is Winston!” He introduced himself with a cheerful grin. New friend! And Winston was more than happy to shake Rex's hand in greeting, and that's what he did. He shook Rex's hand.

Now, it's time to go back to imitating dinosaurs!

Hmmmm which dinosaur should Winston imitate next?

Oh!

A velociraptor! Perfect! Winston can imitate a velociraptor! The feathered raptor! Amazing! “No wait, wait, I’m a velociraptor!” Winston exclaimed with excitement. And there he goes trying to imitate a velociraptor, making what sounded like a hissing growl. Or whatever sound velociraptors make. He’ll find out soon enough when he sees a velociraptor in person! Then he can work on improving his dinosaur imitations.

The day had seemingly flown by rather quicky even though the counselors had not arrived to pick up the campers yet! But it had also been a long way to get to Isla Nublar anyhow. It was gonna be touch to not have any devices with him but you know! He’d made it through! It was only a week after all! Besides it was a Dinosaur camp! Nothing better than that!


Rex had gotten to attend the camp for his winning of a dinosaur trivia contest after all! Boy did Rex love dinosaurs! He was so thrilled and thankful for the opportunity to be here after all! He was. He wanted to view and try and touch as many dinosaurs as possible while He was here for a week! If allowed of course! Would He get to see a T-rex?! He hoped sooo! He loved Tyrannosaurus Rexes so much! If that wasn’t entirely obvious! He did! Really! No jokes!



Rex had been quietly watching everyone who had gotten to attend the camp with him. Wow this was going to be oh so awesome! Wow! He was honored! The other campers honestly seemed so cool and awesome! Rex hadn’t much of a social life back home so He just in awe of how cool this people seemed based on just what He noticed thus far. But here Rex was in a dinosaur themed outfit probably looking the most childish but hey! He did not care! He definitely wanted to at least try and hopefully distract himself from being home-sick!


Rex had been messing with his hair a lot when He’d been sitting their waiting for the counselors but He did not wanna you know take out the dinosaur plushie He’d brought with him yet and possibly get made fun off. He didn’t know how other’s would react to a 16 year old with plushies you know! But He had faith that perhaps maybe they wouldn’t but Rex wasn’t going to take any chances this early on in the day! Maybe it would be fine! It’s gotta be right?! He was hopeful. But the sound of dinosaur noises caught his attention pretty early on!


Listening for awhile before realizing it was the camper beside him. He did hope the counselors would arrive to take them to the camp soon! He wanted to see dinos so bad! He did! Oh so badly! He couldn’t help but get distracted by the other kid’s impression for awhile before taking the initiative to go ask if he could join in! And well introduce himself of course! He was a sweet boy , so who wouldn’t like Rex right?!


Rex had given a sheepish smile after He had spoke moving to hold his arms behind his back as He waited patiently for the other with a soft humm. He hoped to make many life long friends while He was here and He was hoping that this would be the first! Yeah! Friends forever or whatever people say! Rex was trying his best here okay! He was doing his best! Rex was trying and that is what really matters right?! Right!!! Ahh this was oh so exciting! Maybe new friend plus seeing dinosaurs soon and Dinosaur impressions!!! Yess!!! It was oh so Dinorrific!!!!”

Yes, that is a word! Don't question Rex please!


Rex blinked slowly at the other thank him. “Absolutely!” He replied quickly with a sheepish smile. “Alrighty! Thanks!” He quickly replied clapping his hands in front of him with a happy laugh! Yay! He could show off his T-rex impression off. Well, that was the only one, He knew how to imitate at the moment. He did love all dinosaurs, but He had his favorites yes! Hehe! New friends yay! This was going to be so dinorrific and awesome! “ Dinotastic!!!”

He nodded in response with a slight flush to his cheeks. His name was awesome! Now that was the nicest thing He’s ever heard! Really it was! Really swell! Made his day in fact! Maybe the only thing that would top it would be seeing his favorite dino! Tyrannosaurus Rex! Such a cool Dino! “Aww well…..Thank you!” He finally replied with a sheepish smile. Messing with his hair for a moment to try to calm himself down. Winston…. Okay! The other’s name is Winston. “A pleasure to meet you Winston!” He replied softly with a nod. Smiling a bit brighter in return. Happily shaking the hand in return.

Imitating Dinos time! Rex was absolutely here for it and ready eagerly listening to the other. “ Wow so cool!” He chimed once again with a small laugh clapping his hands together happily. Trying to doo it himself but it was not nearly as good! But hey! Rex was trying! He was! “ I can do a a Tyrannosaurus Rex impression! “ He replied quickly and did the best T-rex roar , He could muster in that moment. He thought it was fairly good! But of course it’s not perfect! But they were just having a good ole time here!

Otto is content where he is right now, though he wishes the camp counselors would hurry and come pick them up. Otto wants to be inside a nice, cool air conditioned bedroom right now. Listen, Otto has a lot of sleep to catch up on right now. Thanks, insomnia! And no, Otto is not going to be sleeping this week away. He knows how to have fun! He just has some sleep to catch up on, that’s all. This is going to be a fun week at camp! Otto is going to make the best of it, he’s going to try his best!

Where are the counselors and why are they taking so long? Surely the counselors didn’t forget that there are going to be some lucky campers here right? No, that’s not it. The counselors wouldn’t forget about that! They just have to make sure everything is perfect for the campers! Yes, that’s it. In the meantime, Otto can try to relax and not worry so much.

Otto feels like he’s missing something right now.

Bug spray! Otto doesn’t know what kind of prehistoric bugs this island has but Otto is putting on bug spray just to be on the safe side. Prehistoric insects were giant! Huge! Otto doesn’t want to encounter a giant dragonfly. Or worse. Wait, does this island have prehistoric insects or just dinosaurs? Who knows! But knowing Otto, he’s going to be on the safe side. Otto was content once he finished putting on bug spray and he was putting his things back in his luggage case. Okay, Otto should be good now. Everything is fine. Nothing to worry about; nothing at all. Otto is going to have fun at camp. He’s determined to!

Otto lifted otters head up to look at Birdie and see how she was doing.

Someone was talking to Birdie, and Birdie seemed to be engaged in the conversation. Meanwhile, Otto is waiting for the sound of a vehicle approaching which would signal that the counselors arrived. And, of course, otter’s currently putting on hand sanitizer to make sure otters hands are clean.

As Otto was doing this, otter heard a voice in what sounded like in otters direction. Is someone talking to otter? Otto looked in the direction of the voice; yep, someone’s talking to otter. Well, actually, flirting with Otto to be more specific. Yep. Someone is flirting with Otto.

Who is this and why are they flirting with Otto? Is this really a good moment to be flirting? Otto certainly had not been expecting this. Then again, who would? Nobody would certainly expect this! Otter was quiet for a moment, unsure of what to say right now, so otter was just focusing on putting otters hand sanitizer away since otter’s done using it now. Now, Otto’s attention is on Reggie the flirtatious camper.

Okay but yeah, Otto’s very cute. He will agree to that. Otto’s got to look his best after all. And Otto will silently admit to himself that Reggie is pretty handsome, but obviously he’s not going to be saying that out loud. Nope! Reggie is a complete stranger! Otto doesn’t know Reggie! Nope, Otto's keeping that to himself!

Be cool Otto, it’s just another one of the campers. That is all. A very flirtatious camper. Otto cleared otters throat, otters lips pulling into a small smile. Just be polite and nice to them. “Thank you very much.” Otter hummed out a small, simple response. Very polite, Otto is very polite after all. “And uhm, can I ask who you are exactly? I didn't catch your name.” Yeah! Otto just wants to know who exactly is flirting with him. That is all. Should he introduce himself first? That seems very polite enough.

Reggie let out a soft sigh as everyone was awaited the much-anticipated arrival of the counselors for camp! When the heavens would they show up! Reggie wasn’t sure, He was absolutely just ready to drop his stuff off at the camp before They can go off and explore the wonderful dinosaur camp! This was going to be the best week ever at camp! Really! It would so be! No doubt about that! Hehe! Dinosaurs and a camp so totally awesome. Reggie was super hyped man.


Reggie was oh so bored just sitting here and waiting! Goodness, He was oh so ready to go out and do something! He wanted to see some dinosaurs so damn badly. He did! But could you blame him for that? He hoped the counselors wouldn’t be too much longer as this wait was agony! The drama queen in Reggie was making him sigh dramatically about it!!! Ah yes….Reggie was oh so super dramatic! Just drama queen things here! Theatre kid for sure!



Hopefully they wouldn’t take much longer to pick them up! Reggie took the extra time to fluff up his hair a lot. Gotta, look his best of course!



He ended up leaning back against his luggage with a groan of boredom. Could you blame him though? At home he’d have his phone, a tv, plenty of games and all sorts of other things here! He wished he’d even have a book with him, but he didn’t! His hygiene products took over most of his suitcase. But that was okay, but Reggie always had to look fabulous! It was kind of his thing! Reggie needed to always look his best after all! That was Reggie for you! Hehe! He was a mess but that was okay! He was dramatically just flopping around where he was sitting making all kinds of dramatic sighs!



Yes, Reggie is very dramatic! He will eventually get better I promise! It’s just what Reggie does after all! Yeah! But eventually He should cool it a bit. He wouldn’t want folks to tire of him after all! He couldn’t always be super dramatic after all! Hopefully the counselors would arrive soon! He was so ready for their arrival after all!!!!


Reggie was a bit of a flirt yeah! What could He say? Otto was cute……He was a lil bored but he wasn’t not going to tell someone they were cute if they were! He wasn’t going to not tell them! He was too much of a flirt not too after all! Hehe! Flirting was a way of life anyhow! At least for Reggie! He thought that He was pretty good at it after all! He thought he was the best at flirting! But was He really?! Who really knows?! He was trying his best here! Besides it would be foolish not to be a lil flirty if he found someone was cute! He wouldn’t be himself if He wasn’t being a little flirty anyhow! But he wasn’t going to be rude or too over the top about noo! Just simple little comments here and there would do! He took a moment to brush his hair over his shoulder with a happy sigh.

Otto was very cute in Reggie’s eyes. But He did say that too him outloud. He was absolutely just grinning at the other but out of respect went no further than that. That wasn’t his way! If things would happen if it did not happen, naturally after all! They would be here for a whole week! He had plently of time to potentially flirt a bit more. If he saw the opportunity! And believe me, Reggie always finds one! Just keeping a relaxed grin on his face with a small humm. Yeah, Reggie is a handsome guy and He knew it. But He wasn’t going to go too crazy they would only be here for a week after all! And hey maybe he get’s a cute new friend out of this really?! He hoped so! He giggled softly with a wink. Where are the dinosaurs? Are they hiding? Are they watching the campers with curiosity? Maybe Cypress should pspspspsp the dinosaurs out of hiding. They wish to pet some dinosaurs and get some dinosaurs on film. Their phone battery is a good percent so they won’t have to worry about their phone going dead anytime soon! It’s good because Cypress needs to introduce themself to the other campers! This is going to be amazing.

Sure they’re going to be missing their parents but they know they’re going to have so much fun here and get to see so many dinosaurs. They’ll see their parents again in a week. For now, it’s going to be a week filled with fun and excitement. And petting dinosaurs! Seriously, Cypress wants to pet a dinosaur.

They wanted to wander away from the dock to capture footage of the forest but they knew better than to do that. Cypress needed to stay put and be there when the counselors arrived to get them. Yeah, they can do that later whenever they get the chance. But for now, they will stay here and meet the other campers! That sounds best. Just wait for the camp counselors.

For now, Cypress can wander around the dock and meet their fellow campers. That’s okay!

Maybe they’ll see some dinosaurs along the way to the camp! That would be so amazing! Cypress wanted to see all of the dinosaurs! And they’re hoping to have lots of chances to catch dinosaurs on film.

Surely there will be Wi-Fi and some charging outlets for Cypress to charge their phone. They’ve gotta give Camp Cretaceous some exposure after all and they can’t do that with a phone that has a dead battery. So yeah, there is probably Wi-Fi and some charging outlets. Cypress is pretty hyped to be giving exposure to the camp! There’s going to be so many dinosaurs. Are there prehistoric marine reptiles in the water too? That would be neat. Ah, Cypress is very much hyped for this week long adventure.

“Alright groves, this is the dock. The camp counselors are going to be here soon but for now, we’re going to meet our fellow campers! How exciting! We might see some dinosaurs on the way to the camp!” Cypress spoke to the phone. And that’s when Cypress had turned their full attention to the very tall blonde.

Apparently the tall blonde had been zoned out and hadn’t quite heard what Cypress had said. Cypress’ lips thinned out and they lowered their phone to look at Saylor. Time to get hyped again! “You,” Cypress repeated themself, “what is your name and are you excited to be here at Camp Cretaceous to see some real dinosaurs and what is your favorite dinosaur?” The same hyperactive tone they had first used. Cypress lifted their phone back up as they waited for Saylor to say something.

Personally, Cypress loves all dinosaurs but their favorite dinosaur is honestly Brachiosaurus. Giant plant eater dinosaurs are the best. And yes Cypress is going to be asking everyone what their favorite dinosaur is. It’s an absolute must here since they’re at a dinosaur camp.

Cypress is very hyper right now and they’re eager to know what dinosaur is Saylor’s favorite.

Saylor for one was so ready for the counselors to get there so they could get the camp activities started! He also was really looking forward to hopefully seeing his parents as well and seeing what they do for a living! Wouldn’t that be so freaking cool! And Dinosaurs!! So many dinosaurs too see here! This was definitely going to be a fun week! It was!


His parents had not told him much previously and that made him even more curious on what could be on the island! What could they see…What secrets did it hold! Saylor wanted to find out of course. But he wasn’t sure He could find much in a week. But you know he’s try if they got any free time! He wondered how friendly the dinosaurs where?! Could they be touched? He wanted to at least try!


He was very curious on what potential activities they would be doing first! He wanted to know! It was going to be so cool! He was patiently awaiting the arrival of the counselors as He sat there on the dock with a happy Humm. He wondered if He could see his Paleontologist parents today or what day during the week! He was oh so curious! This was oh so cool! It was! Hopefully they will get to go have some fun soon! Fun would be boredom!


Saylor would be patient for now! He could meet his fellow campers and He was hoping they would be so nice! Would they get to see a dinosaur while they waited! Saylor hoped so! Wouldn’t it be oh so cool! A dinosaur running across the dock or something! He was oh so looking forward to meeting the dinosaurs! He was!


Saylor let out a small hum enjoying the breeze that was running through the dock and closed his eyes for a brief moment. It felt great before He opened his eyes again and glanced around to view his fellow campers. Potential new friends, He hoped! Never a bad time to make friends in Saylors eyes. Besides the counselors would probably be showing up soon and they would be off to do many activities! This was truly going to be the best week ever!



The blonde male was absolutely curious to see what this camp had n store for them! You know! They didn’t really tell them much ahead of time! Which He guessed was just how things were done! But who truly knows! They were the first campers who got to experience this too! Ain’t that just so swell! Saylor thought so! He thought it was the coolest thing ever! Wow! SO cool! This was going to be a magical experience for everyone! All the campers! So cool! Saylor was looking for too this entre week! He was absolutely thrilled!


Saylor had definitely been zoning out as He was sitting with his luggage for a moment. This was not the most entertaining thing to just be sitting here waiting for the counselors to arrive at the camp. Hopefully they would arrive soon! After all! The campers needed to get settled in right! Right! This was going to be an amazing summer! A week with actual dinosaurs come on! So awesome! Yay!



Saylor gave a sheepish yet embarrassed smile before He gulped just a tiny bit. “ Uh….Hi My name is Saylor…..I am so stoked to be here at Camp Cretaceous!” He replied cheerfully with a big smile. “ Uhm as for my favorite dinosaur…..Is the Stegosaurus!” He replied after a long pause to think about it! It was such a cool dinosaur with the plates on it’s back for protection from predators! It was so cool! He hoped that was good enough for the person with the phone. He wasn’t used to being on camera one bit! Albeit though Saylor absolutely loved all dinosaurs! He dd! How could He not?! And Dinosaurs were so totally awesome and cool! Dinosaurs were for all the cool kids! Why! Cause Saylor says so! And Saylor kinda knew what was cool nowadays! Well, he knew enough!

Best summer ever thus far! Wow Saylor was so damn lucky to have this opportunity! He was so lucky! Just wow! This was so cool! So so cool! And t would be nice for the the boy to make some new freds! Yeah! It was rather lonely back home so to make some new friends sounded absolutely wonderful! Yeah! It did! And Saylor was trying his absolute best here to manage! He was trying his hardest okay!

Chess is still rambling to Ocean, though it seems like Ocean does not mind. Just hyper and energetic things with Chess. Classic Chess things. Chess is always just a hyped up ball of energy. No boredom here.

Yep, Ocean is definitely going to be a new friend for Chess! The two of them seemed to both love dinosaurs. And they’re fascinated with marine reptiles! Prehistoric marine reptiles specifically. Seriously, Chess loves those documentaries that show the prehistoric ocean and their prehistoric marine life. And now, Chess gets to experience it for faerself. Amazing! Cool!

And Ocean is such a pretty name! It really is! Pretty name! They both have pretty names! Ocean and Chess. Lovely name duo! Yay! “We both have such pretty names! Ocean is such a pretty name!” Chess repeated faerself. Fae is grinning eagerly and it’s clear that fae is still hyped up and eager as ever. Chess is always a bundle of rolling energy. Always on the move.

Chess could talk about dinosaur documentaries all day, you know? There are a few that fae’s seen that are just… downright ridiculous and poorly narrated and poorly reconstructed dinosaurs. Yikes. Chess will not be talking about those. Only the best documentaries here! Chess can also gush about dinosaur facts all day and not stop. Yep! Dino facts for the win here!

Chess' favorite dinosaur documentary? Well, how can Chess choose one? "Well, I have to say my favorite dinosaur documentary is Prehistoric Planet! They show a whole bunch of dinosaurs!" Fae responded. Now time for more rambling! "But I also love The Ballad of Big Al and Dinosaur Revolution! They're so amazing!"

Now onto prehistoric marine reptiles!

How can Chess just pick one favorite marine reptile? Seriously how? Well, fae supposed that fae can pick just one out of a whole list. “I have some favorite marine reptiles too! I’ll have to say that my most favorite marine reptile is Basilosaurus!” Chess decided with a big grin. Basilosaurus is pretty neat! “Basilosaurus looks so cool, you know? Like a little prehistoric water puppy.” Fae giggled at that. Prehistoric water puppy! “Well, more like a giant water puppy.” More giggling from Chess.

All prehistoric marine reptiles are cool though! They’re all amazing and unique. “But my second favorite prehistoric marine reptile has to be Ichthyosaurus! They’re water puppies too!” Chess is probably going to be calling all prehistoric marine reptiles water puppies. It’s true though! Will Chess be able to swim with the marine reptiles? Or is that a bad idea? “Dinosaur documentaries are so fun and entertaining to watch! I love a whole bunch of them!” Chess giggled aloud. “But now we get to see dinosaurs in person!” Yep! Chess is so hyped and excited right now. Well, that’s probably the biggest understatement of the year. Chess is more than hyped. Fae’s over the moon! Hooray for Camp Cretaceous!

Talking to Ocean is so much fun. New friend! Chess wants to make the most of this trip which includes befriending the other campers. It’s a must for Chess. Fae’s also awaiting the sound of a vehicle approaching letting faer know that the counselors have arrived. Come on now, Chess wants to see dinosaurs! Real dinosaurs! Chess still cannot believe that faer essay about Edmontosaurus was picked! Edmontosaurus is an amazing plant eating dinosaur!

It’s pretty cool that Ocean has a blog! Chess should read it sometime when it’s time to go home. “I bet you’re an absolutely amazing writer!” Chess complimented. It’s sad that Chess couldn’t bring faer phone with faer so it’ll have to wait until Chess goes home. Chess is a good writer too considering that faer essay was chosen. An essay that was written for fun and it won first prize. And Chess is here now. “I would love to read your blog sometime.” Chess smiled sweetly at Ocean. Wait a minute. Ocean wants to interview Chess? Is this real life right now? Really!? Oh gods! This is amazing! “You want to interview little ol’ me? I would be so honored to be interviewed!” Chess exclaimed, hopping on faer feet.

“I hope the counselors come soon. I’m ready to see some dinosaurs!” Chess sighed as fae rocked back and forth on faer toes. Where are they at? It’s time to see some dinosaurs! Please and thanks. Chess is starting to get antsy here. "I think they might come soon; I sure hope so!" Chess exclaimed.

Hmmm, that's true. Carnivorous dinosaurs might try to eat them. "Yeah, I guess so, I guess the counselors are going to have us stick to the herbivores." It would still be pretty cool to pet a Baryonyx, though.

Ocean didn’t mind the rambling or hyperness of the other. Ocean was more of a calm collected personality but She did not mind hyperness from other’s. She found it quite refreshing honestly.

New friendships hurrah! Dinosaur loving friends. Hopefully Ocean can make lots of friends while she was here. Marine reptiles were so cool. But prehistoric reptiles were the coolest. Ocean loved them oh so much! She hoped they would get to see many of them here at camp!

They both had pretty and fantastic names! It was absolutely lovely! Ocean couldn’t help but giggle softly albeit a bit amused by how excited the other was. “ Well thank you again and We both do have fantabulous names!” She replied softly with a humm. She smiled in return. So eager to see what this camp would bring them and all the cool things they would get to see!

Dino documentaries are honestly the best! Ocean loved listening to them while working on her blog often! Gave the perfect atmosphere after all! Some were definitely better than others though as some where bloody awful! But those aren’t even worth mentioning! Nope not at all! “ Oh Prehistoric Planet is a good one! “ Ocean replied softly with a nod. “ But there are a ton of good ones out there but those are all good choices!” She replied before breathing out trying to keep herself from rambling too much. Ocean was not normally a rambler.

Now Ocean would talk about prehistoric marine reptiles all day!

It would be so difficult to choose just one favorite truly! It would be honestly very difficult! Ocean didn’t know sometimes how she could even choose a favorite herself. But she had a few for sure! “ Basilosaurus is a good choice! It does look so super awesome! It is a giant water puppy! Prehistoric marine reptiles never get the love they should! They are just as cool as dinosaurs!” Ocean replied proudly! Yeah she loved them oh so much! Really! She did! She was smiling brightly and proudly in that moment as well.


“ Also an amazing option!” Ocean agreed with a happy humm. All prehistoric marine reptiles were so totally awesome! “ Ichthyosaurus is definitely a water puppy! “ She agreed. Such amazing creatures with amazing personalities! She would totally jump at the chance to touch and swim with them. If it was safe to do so! “ They are so fun and entertaining to watch but we get to see the real thing that is gonna be so totally awesome!” She cheered happily. Ocean was definitely hyped and excited for sure! She was. No doubt about that! No doubts here! She was jumping for joy!

Ocean was definitely happy to make a new friend! She was! Not often she got the chance too! She was hoping the counselors would arrive soon as she was itching to drop her stuff off and go see what this camp had in store for them after all! Her blog had gotten chosen to give the place exposure after all! And she planned to write honestly about her experience here! She was going to see real dinosaurs soon and hopefully some marine reptiles! So far Chess had been amazing to talk too!

Ocean did love writing her blog! She did! It was oh so awesome! Everyone should read it sometimes, It was a pretty good blog. “ I do my best!” Ocean replied waving her hand slightly. She was a modest gal. She was! Writing friends whoo! “ Perhaps if they wifi is good at the camp, I can pull it up on my laptop!” She mused softly. She smiled brightly with a giggle. “ Well I figured it could be fun to interview all the campers for the blog but I’d love to start with you!” She added clasping her hands together excitedly! Interviews were always so super fun! They were and it was a fun way to get to know her fellow campers!

She was thrilled that Chess would love to be interviewed!

“ I am so ready for the counselors to get here! Sooo ready to see some dinosaurs and hopefully some marine reptiles!” Ocean replied softly running a hand through her curly hair. Can they get here already?! Ocean was getting tired of waiting here and wanting to put her luggage away already. “ I am sure it won’t be too much longer? It wouldn’t be wise for them not too!” She mused.


“ I don’t see why we won’t get to see both though?” Ocean added with a shrug. “ I just doubt we will get to touch many carnivores for safety reasons…..as boring as that sounds” She sighed. Although you never know! Maybe the carnivores were chill as well.

Okay, where are those camp counselors at? For real now. Where are they? Come on now, Birdie cannot wait all day! She didn’t come to Camp Cretaceous just to be kept waiting in the baking sun. It’s fine. Birdie can be patient; she can be patient. The counselors will be here soon, hopefully. She’s just got to listen out for the sound of a vehicle approaching. Besides, waiting for the counselors to arrive is really a very nice time to chat up the fellow campers. Well, Birdie is a social butterfly after all! Very social and chatty. Yep, that’s Birdie Fischer for you. Just Birdie things here.

Birdie is also hyped to see faer mom and what mom does. Like, yeah faer mom is a dinosaur veterinarian but it would be nice to see what mom does. Like, Birdie wants to get up close to a dinosaur and pet it. And yeah, this includes carnivorous dinosaurs too. Can you blame Birdie for wanting to get up close to a Spinosaurus? The camp counselors are going to make them stick to the herbivorous dinosaurs, Birdie knows it. Well, she’s guessing but it is likely. You know, dinosaurs like Iguanodon, Stegosaurus, those kinds of dinosaurs. But you know, it’s fine. As long as Birdie gets to see some dinosaurs then it’s alright. Birdie came here to see some dinosaurs after all!

See, Birdie and Otto are extremely lucky to be here! Camp Cretaceous, and Jurassic World in general, are mega expensive. There’s probably a couple of kids here who paid their way here. Not surprising, you know? It’s understandable that a dinosaur park and dinosaur camp would have a massive price tag attached. It’s real dinosaurs after all.

Birdie is patiently awaiting the arrival of the camp counselors. They will be here soon. Birdie hopes that this is true. What’s camp going to be like? What kind of activities are they going to do besides looking at dinosaurs? Hey, as long as the activities are fun! But, Birdie wishes that fae had faer phone with faer. Fae hadn’t been allowed to take faer phone to the island. It seems like only a couple of people were allowed their electronic devices. Birdie would be hyping this up on social media if fae had faer phone. Very much so, yeah. But fae cannot. Well, Birdie can always write about it on social media after fae returns home!

See? Camp Cretaceous is going to be so fun!

Okay so anyways, back to talking to Fern! Make new friends of course.

Fern seems really nice! A pleasant person to talk to. The two can talk about dinosaurs or something while they wait. See? Making new friends already! Amazing! Social butterfly Birdie! Hehe new friend. Well, maybe Fern is a new friend. We will have to wait and see. But Fern seems to be a genuinely nice person, you know?

Birdie gave Fern a bright, cheery smile. “And it’s a pleasure to meet you too, Fern!” She replied sweetly. It’s nice to know that she’s not the only one who is super-duper uber excited to see real dinosaurs and get up close to one. Amazing. "Hmmmm, I think we’ll be able to befriend some dinosaurs! I don’t see why we can’t. I'd love to befriend some dinosaurs here, imagining being friends with a real dinosaur!” Birdie replied, still as cheery as ever. Fae’s always cheerful and bubbly.

Anyways….

Birdie nodded faer head a little, “Yeah, I’m a twin! My brother is over there, he’s the one with the bright red and black dyed hair.” Birdie nodded faer head in Otto’s direction. Birdie looked back at Fern, “yeah! I’m hoping that we can see our mom here at camp!” Fae smiled once more. Yeah, it’ll be great to see mom here.

“Oh, your family supplies the meat for the dinosaurs?” Birdie inquired. Amazing! So cool! Wow! Birdie should have figured that maybe a few other campers besides her and Otto would have ties to people that worked at the park. Or well, helped the park out. Yeah, Birdie should have guessed that would be the case. “That’s pretty cool!”

Birdie loves Spinosaurus; very cool and neat. All dinosaurs are amazing and unique in their own way of course. Though Birdie’s favorite dinosaur will always be Spinosaurus! Yeah. Spinosaurus for the win! Hehe.

“Parasaurolophus sure is a mouthful to say.” Birdie laughed a little. Yeah, some dinosaur names are really long, some hard to pronounce. "Parasaurolophus and Albertosaurus are amazing dinosaurs!" But yeah, all dinosaurs are amazing, you know? “But I’m sure that the camp has a bunch of dinosaurs here! I’m sure we’ll get to hug one too.” Yep!

Hopefully it wouldn’t be so much longer, The counselors couldn’t keep them waiting much longer could they? Where are those pesky adults? The heat from the summer and the breeze from the ocean being the only thing that was making the summer weather bearable. Hopefully it would cool down later in the day! Yeah that would be excellent! Now was the best time to get to know your fellow camp friends!


Yeah Fern was going to most definitely be missing home and the farm and her family for sure! But this would only be for a week with hopefully some new friends under her belt yeah! And hopefully they all can meet as many many different kinds of dinosaurs as possible. Fern really wanted to give all the hugs to all the dinosaurs. Even the carnivores really. Even if she prefers herbivores at times. Like how cool would it be to hug a t-rex with it’s little baby arms. It couldn’t really hug you anyway with the short arms and probably wouldn’t want too but please let Fern imagine hugging it please and thank you! It’s just a thought anyhow. She may be a little ditzy but she’s not stupid!

It was a very lucky opportunity for any of the campers that did not pay their way into camp. Whether the parents having something to do with the place or winning a competition of some sorts. An opportunity that fern was determined to enjoy to the fulliest as this would be her only chance to meet dinosaurs up close!


Hopefully they could head to the camp soon! So many fun activities probably the counselors have planned other than dinosaur themed ones. Surely with the no phones or devices rule except for a few select individuals , they would have plently of things to do , as to keep the campers occupied! Hopefully so! Fern was a bit sad about not being able to take pics with new friends and dinosaurs but she knew she could always exchange numbers with new friends on the last day of camp?


This was going to be a most wonderful camp experience!

Focus on talking with Birdie again, Fern no dawdling.

Fern was trying to be as friendly as she could during this week too try and make as many new friends as possible. Cause you know back on the farm, most of her friends where the cows and other animals. Not many people friends but she was hoping to change that this week! Boy Was this camp going to be oh so much fun!

Fern easily was able to return the bright,, cheery smile to Birdie with no qualms about it! Birdie did seem absolutely so sweet!. “ Ah how wonderful!” She giggled clasping her hands together happily. She was uber excited to see real dinosaurs and get as close as she possibly could do it about that! “ Oh! How lovely! I hope we really can befriend dinosaurs here! Wouldn’t that be oh so cool to say that too other folks you know! I would love to do so! People are absolutely great friends too but a dinosaur friend! That would be oh so awesome! Hehe! Both gals were quite bubbly and excitable.
Well anyhow!

“ Wow! It must be oh so cool to be a twin! I am sure he is just as lovely as you!” She chirped happily. Yeah it was a little flirty but Fern was just like that without meaning too by the way! She never really tried to be flirty! Just friendly! She gave another pleasant smile. “ I am sure you will! I don’t see why they won’t give us any free roam you know?”

Fern nodded softly. “ I know it’s a little grim cause of the poor animals but the dinosaurs gotta eat” She replied with a nod. Giving a sheepish smile as she shifted on her feet just a little bit. Yeah it was so cool to have familial connections to the Park you know! It was oh so awesome!

All dinosaurs were absolutely so cute and amazing! Some maybe not as cute as others but Fern was absolutely was able to see the beauty in just about everything you know! She was easily able to do so! Dinosaurs were absolutely amazing, cool, magical! So many descriptive ways to describe the dinosaurs!

Fern giggled a bit. “ Yeah! Parasaurolophus is a bit of a mouthful but they an amazing dinosaurs after all!” She agreed. A ton of the names were as difficult to say if not even more so! “ Yeah they both are such amazing creatures and have many positive wonderful things about them here!” She cheered happily. Nodding her head. “ Oh I am absolutely sure they have many dinos to see here! I can’t wait to meet and attempt to hug them all! No matter the arm length or size. I wanna try to hug them all! Hugs for all the dinosaurs after all!”

Winston is enjoying making dinosaur impressions! Like, why not? Who wouldn’t want to? His impressions could use a bit of work though but he is at a dinosaur themed camp after all with real dinosaurs. So yeah, Winston will be working on improving his semi-good dinosaur impressions. But at least he’s having fun, right? That’s all that matters, you know. It doesn’t matter if Winston’s dinosaur impressions aren’t the best out there because he is here to have fun and let loose. Make new friends! And it seems he’s already made a new friend. A friend with an awesome and cool name! Seriously, Ty Rex is an amazingly cool awesome name!

The camp counselors have yet to arrive still, which Winston thought was odd. Surely the counselors know that there’s a group of ten campers waiting for them right? There was no sign of a vehicle coming down the road. The counselors will be soon, at least Winston hopes so. He wants to see some dinosaurs! But until then, more dinosaur impressions! Yep, all the dinosaur impressions here! Just as long as Winston is having fun! That’s all that matters. The only thing that matters is that Winston is having fun and that he’s happy. Yep!

Winston is here to have fun, see dinosaurs, make new friends, show off his gymnastic skills in the various activities the camp will have to offer, those sorts of things. What kind of activities will the camp offer? Winston is excited to know. And he’s excited to see real dinosaurs! Particularly the carnivorous dinosaurs. Can you blame Winston for wanting to hug a carnivorous dinosaur? Will the camp counselors allow that or are they going to make the campers stick to the herbivorous dinosaurs? Listen, carnivorous dinosaurs like Allosaurus are so cool and amazing.

It’s also amazing that someone wants to join in on the dinosaur imitations. The more the merrier here! His Velociraptor impression isn’t the best but he’ll get better at it. He will! By the end of the week, Winston’s dinosaur impressions will be amazing! And who cares who gawks at him for making weird dinosaur impressions? Winston certainly does not care. He’s just a silly, funny guy. Winston is a funny guy who is really happy. And Winston would love to be friends with Rex! Rex seems really cool with an equally cool name and an equally cool outfit. Overall, Rex is so cool!

Rex and Winston, the dinosaur impression duo! They can make lots of dinosaur impressions until the counselors arrive! And then they can see real dinosaurs! There’s going to be so much to do here! How could Winston not be figuratively bouncing off the walls! Yeah, he’s hyper and excited right now. Don’t blame him. Really, don’t blame him. He’s just happy to be here. And Winston is happy to have someone join him in making dinosaur impressions! It’s a great way to pass the time after all.

“It’s absolutely amazing to meet you, Rex!” Hopefully Winston isn’t coming off as too hyper. That’s something Winston usually worried about. Coming off as extremely hyper. It seems Rex is just as happy to be here as he is. That’s good. Now they can do impressions together and have fun! Just silly things here. And Rex seems to like Winston's Velociraptor impression. It made Winston grin sheepishly and respond with a quick "thanks!" as a return.

A T-Rex impression! Rex is doing a T-Rex impression! So cool! Amazing! “Hey, that was an amazing impression!” Winston was quick to compliment Rex. They could be friends, you know? Dinosaur impression friends! That was an absolutely marvelous T-Rex impression! "That was, like, the best T-Rex impression ever!" Yes, happy things here.

What dinosaur should Winston do next?

Winston had to catch his breath for a moment because he had been rambling a lot. But you know, Winston can ramble all day. Now, back to dinosaur impressions!
