Fantasy 4 Heroes

So this isn't that serious, I just wanted to know who would be into it. So this roleplay will only have 4 slots excluding me, except if for some reason this gets too popular which i would bet against. It follows a stereotypical adventure with four heroes. But the stereotypical prophecy that tells of these people was misread, taking four random people off the streets with no real warning and being taken out into the world to save the world from an evil demon who has returned from the dead.

These four have very different personalities, all coming from different origins and places. I was thinking something along the lines of:
The Inspiring Leader
The Quiet Badass
The Expressive Weirdo
and The Roguish Asshole

These aren't definite, it's just a mold to work around.

So the four heroes get given a fifth, of whom I'll play. He's meant to be a protector of the four in the early stages of the adventure, and valiantly does it. I'll design some form of a world to base this off, and also be the GM. Comment if you'd like to see this, or just PM me.

Well, the four principal characters are taken. Someone else has also joined in as a side character, so can you think of any way you could be involved?

Um, sorry, if you don't mind me asking, who's actually taking which character?

See that's where I wasn't sure. I have another person who called the leader, but not for definite. He's sort of on reserve if nobody else calls it by the time the others are done. The other three are called and can't be changed.

Honestly, I'd be happy to play any character but if all the spots are basically filled in then I'm just trying to think how I could slide myself in somehow ^^;

Well two people have wanted to join with side characters. I have a character that I was going to play, but this is becoming pretty popular. He's an elf that sort of escorts the four heroes in their early adventures, but I wrote in my ideas that he'll die half way through. You could just create a new one.

Hmm... I'd imagine that on their journey, they'd end up encountering a few obstacles along the way. Just had this idea of a pirate guy who's trying to be an antagonist and casually kidnaps one of them but then starts feeling more than guilty when he hears about his captain's plan to sell them in a foreign country so he aids them in their escape but then he's now on the run too for mutiny. He could kinda tag along as this morally ambiguous character.
"What, you need to make a deal with this overlord to let you past his borders? Easy. Just smash through his army and threaten to kill him."

That idea sounds pretty good, but I feel like you won't be able to be put into the story until like 1/3 of the way through.

Alright then. I guess I'll let you join as this pirate character. If you want, you could occasionally put in something for your character, maybe they even interact with the four a few times casually. Maybe something like "It's all going to plan, just give me time" etc.
