Kim Namjoon
large.jpg

A small sigh escaped Namjoon as he seated himself between Jin and Yoongi. Everyone had been summoned to the studio for a meeting, which wasn't too suspicious, except that they weren't told what it was for. His fellow members had all looked to him, but he didn't know either. In fact, he was just as confused as they were. "Do you think it's something bad?" Yoongi asked in his ear, looking bored. A reassuring smile found the rappers face in return. "It's probably nothing," He said, loud enough for the whole group to hear. "It's probably just regular announcements or planning a trip," He added as his fingers drummed against his lap. Things were going really well for them lately, and stress had been kept to a minimal, so he wasn't too worried. What were they gonna do, spring a tour on them? It wasn't likely. MUAHAHA

Just as he finished speaking, the office door opened and in came Manager and a few other familiar faces. He tried to gauge their expressions, and they all looked pretty happy. He felt his shoulders relax, thinking that they were probably going to deliver some sort of good news. The crew sat across from the seven boys, eyeing them with small smiles. The Manager opened his mouth to speak, but was quickly interrupted by the sound of Jimin chuckling. Namjoon turned in his seat, sending a look down the table at Jimin and Jungkook as they joked about something that he couldn't hear. It was probably funny, but he really wanted to know what was going to be said. Luckily his pointed look was enough to sober the two up from their laughing fits.

"Well, we have some good news." Manager started, settling his gaze on Namjoon before sliding it over to Jin and then Hoseok. Nobody said anything, letting him continue. "We've been contacting another company for the last few months about a collaboration with another group." He stated casually, as if he hadn't just delivered shocking news. It wasn't often that they collaborated with other Idol groups, so the statement left a confused buzz among the boys. He heard a few of them talking quietly to each other, probably asking the same questions that he had.

Park Jimin
47583443_549466788860030_5345042982106852902_n.jpg

Jimin had been hanging out with Jungkook before the meeting, so the two were rather happy and relaxed when they entered the room. He'd sat next to the maknae, still chuckling at something he had said. "Oooh, that's a good idea! Next time you should try it without shoes." He said, before bursting into quiet laughter. The idol had been in a really good mood lately, probably since they'd been back in Korea for awhile and it felt nice. He loved to travel, but nothing felt better than home to him. Hearing the sudden silence around him, he turned to find Namjoon looking his way with a raised eyebrow. Feeling confused, he followed the eyes of the others to find that Manager had already arrived. He smiled sheepishly, giving his friend one last pat on the shoulder as he turned to give the crew his full attention.

Just like everyone else, Jimin had no clue what they were meeting for. He hadn't thought much of it though, figuring it was just as Namjoon had said when they first came in. Now, from their excited faces, he was intrigued. When the manager delivered the first part of his message, Jimin quickly understood why. "Who is it?" Someone asked, followed by someone else who said, "Just a collaborated concert, or what?" The singer had his own questions, but he wasn't sure which one to ask first. Before he could, Manager held up a hand for them to be quiet.

"You'll be working with MESS. They've been very popular lately, so after discussing with their management, we've decided to try a joint tour in a few different countries. We want you to meet with the members today before we begin working on the soundtrack." He said with a grin. Jimin felt his mouth pop open, turning first to Jungkook and then to Taehyung with wide eyes. They all knew who MESS was, but to go on an entire tour with them? They'd never done anything like that before. Especially not with a girl group, of all groups.

Hong Sujin
38f97d6a000f059d80a907dcdb3fd915.jpg

"We're doing what?" Sujin asked, leaning forward in her chair. She hoped she was hearing things wrong, but the look on their manager's face told her that she wasn't. She would probably be the only one, but she didn't like the thought of doing an entire collaborated tour. Especially not with a group as popular as BTS. She wanted their fans to like them for their music, not because they collaborated with other popular groups. They'd gain more popularity for doing it, but would it be for the right reasons? Putting that aside, they had just come back from a tour last month. She had been under the impression that they'd have more time to breathe before jumping right back into it.

...That was the life of an idol though, so she had no room to complain. This was her career, and at the end of the day, her complaints didn't matter. Especially since management had already decided. If she voiced her thoughts, she'd just look grumpy. Not to mention that a leader wasn't supposed to complain, they were supposed to lead by example. The Manager repeated her message, and unfortunately it was exactly as she thought. "What songs will we perform?" She asked, wondering which of their hits would be fitting for a tour with a boy band. She did like most of BTS's music, so it would be cool to meet them all at least once. To spend months with them, on the other hand, was a different story. Why had everyone waited until today to notify them anyways?!

"We're choreographing a brand new set of songs specifically for the tour. It'll be a lot of work, but if the songs can only be seen live the crowd will be more inclined to come see." She explained, earning a nod from Sujin. It'd be a ton of work to make brand new songs, not to mention all the time they'd be spending with BTS in order to get things right. That didn't even include all the travelling and performing. Judging by the excited Mini beside her, her disappointed feelings weren't mutual.

Yoo Minju

Mini was ecstatic about this entire thing. BTS had been making music much longer than MESS had even been a group, so it was crazy to think that they were on their level. Their last album had done extremely well though, so it wasn't actually a huge surprise that other companies were contacting them about collaborations. She bounced in her seat, nudging Soogi lightly. "Don't look that way, Ju. This will be good for us! Don't act like you don't love the thought of working with a bunch of guys. Just picture working on the dance choreography, and there's a tall boy right up behind you like this~" She teased, pressing her body against the stoic leader. It earned her a small shove, which made her laugh.

"Whatever, you're no fun." She turned to Luna, grinning at the fellow rapper. "Come on, at least tell me you're excited! Remember when we tried to do covers of songs from Hope World?" She laughed, referring to Jung Hoseok. Mini loved working with Eun-ji, especially when they were writing lyrics together. She loved all of her group members, actually. Their success was something she'd never dreamed of only two years ago. Now she got to wake up everyday and do her favorite thing-- not to mention all the clothes she got out of it.

"Oh! Ah, when are we starting on this?" She asked the Manager, who had been watching them chat among themselves with an amused expression. "There's an event planned to introduce you to them tonight. We'll begin on the music after you've all met and gotten to know each other a little." She responded. It was really weird that management hadn't mentioned anything sooner, but Minju didn't mind too much. By the time the whole ordeal was over, her writing and rapping skills would probably be even better than before. Not to mention her dancing! "Bring on the party then!" She responded, already trying to think of what she would wear.

KIM SEOKJIN

Jin had still been half asleep when they were called in for a meeting. He'd been watching Alpaca videos all night long and had only gotten about one or two hours of sleep. And although he loved being awake, he preferred to be well-rested over being a zombie.
He'd just get some sleep after the meeting.

Just like the other members, he didn't know what they were called in for. He hoped it had something to do with food, he was starving.
Then again, he could always eat.
Especially lobster. He loved lobster.

Jin looked around the room, noticing how everyone was pretty excited to hear what their manager had to say, except for Yoongi. He looked rather bored, but that could just be his natural facial expression as well.
As he heard Namjoon reassure the group that it probably was about another trip, Seokjin got excited. He absolutely adored traveling and seeing new places. He'd taken so many photos on their last tour that he'd filled up five memory cards.

As soon as the manager and some of the crew walked in, the room fell silent.
The seven boys seemed to be as nervous as they were on the day they debuted.
The manager spoke, and it took Jin a while to register everything he had just heard.

They'd go on a tour.
With a different group.
A girl group.
And they'd meet them.
Today.
And then they'd work on new songs together.

"That doesn't mean we'll have to share our food with them, does it?", the eldest asked, Hoseok gently nudging his shoulder.
"Stop thinking about food!"
"You guys already eat all of my food away, what will it be like when there's girls wanting my food too?"

KIM TAEHYUNG

Taehyung stared at the manager for a while before turning his head towards Jimin, who seemed to be just as surprised as the rest of the group.
Collaborations with other Idols were rare, especially with fellow Korean Idols. V didn't even know if there had even been a collaboration between two different Kpop groups before.
And especially not one between a boy and a girl group.

How were they supposed to compose and write enough songs to fill an entire concert? An entire tour?
He knew MESS had four members, which meant that their songs now had to be divided into ten parts! It was sometimes already difficult dividing it fairly into seven parts!
What if the chemistry would be off? ARMY would surely notice that they weren't feeling comfortable.

Tae had so many questions.
What countries were they visiting?
How long would they be gone for?
How many songs needed to be written?
They'd need to learn so many new parts, so many new choreo.
It would definitely be a challenge.

"So we're meeting them today?"

San Ji-Yeon
-Im-Jin-ah-nana-after-school-40205159-268-380.png
Jiyeon blinked a couple of times, having to refrain herself from screaming out loud.
First of all, she was glad because she adored BTS and was super excited to meet them.
Second, she was exstatic because going on tour meant new hair colors! And she loved dying her hair.
Third, she'd be going on tour with BTS.
Fourth, BTS.
Fifth, B. T. S.

"Can I scream?", she whispered, nervously running her hand through her long hair. It wasn't everyday that one got the opportunity to meet the Kpop group with a billion fans all around the world, who were so talented - and good looking too!
"This is like a dream come true!", the young woman squealed, grinning widely at Sujin.
"Hey, come on - no grumpy face! We get to go on tour! With BTS!"

Jiyeon had a very cheery personality, although Mini was the most cheerful member of the group. It was to nobody's surprise that she was also the most excited out of the four members.

Yoon Eun-Ji
52e18d50c642c68c2d1fb5f49d86796f.jpg

Eun-Ji had reacted just as happily as Mini, grinning like a child that had just gotten ice cream.
She nodded frantically at the fellow rapper, an excited sparkling in her big doe-like eyes.
"I'm super excited!", the Maknae replied, "And of course I remember! I kept messing up the words to Daydream. And oh remember when we tried to learn the parts to Suga's song 'August D'? That was torture!"
She giggled, turning back to look at the manager.

While she should've been listening to what the manager was telling her, she couldn't help but daydream about how the meeting with them would go.
She'd meet her three favorite rappers in the entire world, and she'd even have the honor of writing songs with them and performing them with BTS!
How awesome was that?

Kim Namjoon
large.jpg

Namjoon couldn't help but smile as Jin's words floated into his ears. He turned to the older man, patting his shoulder. "I think your food is the least you have to worry about." He joked. In his opinion, working with girls would be the most worrisome. Not only were they girls, but they were pretty girls. With girls, they'd have to be more careful. Especially with their jokes, lyrics, and even movements. He was tall and clumsy. He'd hurt the other members on accident quite a few times both on stage and during practice. One time he'd even managed to hurt both his and Jin's fingers by smacking their hands together during a dance. He still remembered the guilt he felt every time someone noticed that they were wearing matching finger braces.

The manager nodded in response to Tae, looking at his watch. "Yes, you'll be meeting them today. We're having a small party of sorts, with both groups and management from both sides. So you'll need to dress nicely and be back here at the studio around six." He said. Glancing down to his phone, the rapper realized that it was already past four. Luckily it didn't take him too long to get ready, but he had other errands planned for the day. Now, it seemed they'd have to wait.

With that last statement, management filed out of the room, leaving the boys to talk among themselves. "I assume we all remember how t treat girls, right?" He asked, giving pointed looks to Taehyung and Jimin especially. "We have to work with the, so don't go flirting and making them uncomfortable." He turned to Hoseok next. "No weird dancing and no invading personal space either." He said.

"Yaaaah~ No breaking them either!" Jungkook retorted, earning a sigh from Namjoon. If he could reach the Maknae, he'd flick his forehead. "I won't break anything! Jeez, everyone go get ready." He said with a playful wave of his arm. Standing up, he made a mental checklist in his head and set out to get everything in order.

Park Jimin
47583443_549466788860030_5345042982106852902_n.jpg

Jimin was surprised, but perfectly okay with working with MESS. He knew all the members names and roles, so he figured he had a one-up to the other boys. Not that he had any weird intentions, but he loved teasing pretty girls-- until they teased back. Then he got flustered and had no idea what to do with himself. If anything, this could be practice to make him less shy about compliments. Catching another pointed look his way, he figured Namjoon was already onto his thoughts.

Holding up his hands, he grinned. "Yeah Tae, don't flirt with the girls!" He exclaimed, playing innocent as he passed the blame off to V. This earned him a soft punch from Jungkook, who had a habit of hitting things when he was happy. The laughter echoing around the room comforted him. It would be challenging, but he was going into it with a positive attitude. He had faith that Manager wouldn't have them do this if it was a bad idea.

Trying to keep the mood light, Jimin ran his fingers through his hair. "Jungooo, who's your favorite member of MESS?" He asked. The Maknae stared blankly with his "jungshook" expression, before coming to a decision. "Jiyeon. I think she has a really good voice." He responded, standing up and putting his jacket on. Before he could be questioned further, he followed RM out of the room. Jimin didn't stop his antics, turning his jokes to Hobi. "Ne, what about you Hope?" He asked, wondering why the other boys didn't get embarrassed like he did. Hoseok was already on his way out the door, but said "Mini, duh," before leaving.

"Stop stalling and go get ready like you were told." Yoongi smiled, standing up from his seat. Jimin rolled his eyes in return, following suit. "You guys suck." Was all he said before his exit.

Hong Sujin
38f97d6a000f059d80a907dcdb3fd915.jpg

"Don't tell me all of you are excited about this!" Sujin responded, though she couldn't help the small smile that appeared when Jiyeon spoke to her. "I'm not grumpy, I just don't like the idea of spending so much time with boys. I'm not boy crazy like the rest of you," She accused, reaching out to pinch Mini's side playfully. This earned her a yelp and a "hey!" in return. Looking around, it was clear that all three of her friends were happy about meeting the seven boys. Seeing their happy faces, she felt the irritation melting away. If they really wanted to do it, she'd follow suit.

"I'll have to find someone else to water my plants, but I guess this'll do." She said eventually. It was only then that she realized their manager was still in the room. "Remember this is work." Manager said, looking to them sternly. "Don't go getting any funny ideas out of this, okay? No romances or anything more complicated than friendship. It's important that you remain professional." She added. Sujin raised her eyebrows to the two rappers at this, though her smile was playful. "We're going to their studio at 6, so be back here around five thirty and we'll carpool." She said, waiting until each member had nodded.

"What time is it?" Sujin asked, looking around. "Oh, it's four." She responded to herself upon finding the clock in the room. "I'm going them. Text me if you need anything." She said to the others, remembering that they had a group chat together as she headed out with one last wave.

Yoo Minju
eaa8beb8ba60b83fce71dd764eeee2d0.jpg

Mini laughed with Luna holding her shoulder as they spoke happily. "Oh yeah! We should ask him to help us with the verse we messed up. It's so hard because he has such a good stoic expression, and we're just too cute. If only Soogi could r--" The girl stopped her excited chattering as she realized the manager was trying to speak again. Giving up on her train of thought, she tried to actually listen. Thank God she did, because when Sujin announced the time, she came shooting out of her chair.

"IT'S FOUR AND WE HAVE TO BACK AT FIVE THIRTY?!" She exclaimed, mind racing. She didn't have an outfit planned! In fact, she wasn't even wearing makeup. Scrambling to grab her purse and coat, she gathered her belongings. Despite her rushing, Sujin still made it to the door before she did. "Ah, bye!" She called to the leader. Minju sincerely hoped that the singer would warm up to the idea a little more. After all, she wanted everyone to have fun and not be too stressed while they were working together.

"Okay, I'm off too! Buh bye manager! And bye Luna and Jiyeon!" She called, before scrambling down the hallway. It took her a long time to get ready, so she needed all the time she could get. Even if it meant looking silly while she jogged awkwardly through the building. It'd be worth it to look good while meeting BTS for the first time!

KIM SEOKJIN
Kim-Seok-Jin-jin-bts-40936110-800-1200.jpg
It was 5:30 PM. The two groups would meet each other in half an hour. While normal people would be worried and would've been dressed hours before the meet-up, Seokjin had caught up on some sleep, even if it had only been one and a half hour. At least he wouldn't be yawning the entire evening, that'd be awkward. Everybody would think that he was bored, which he of course wasn't.
He liked MESS. He enjoyed their music and thought that they were really talented.
He still wasn't very sure about the whole conjoined tour-idea though. The girls would probably be really sweet and very kind to the members of BTS, but there was so much that could go wrong. Especially because they'd be spending so much time together.

"This will be interesting.", the eldest hyung mumbled to himself, deciding to finally dress himself up in some fancy clothes so he wouldn't look like someone who had only just gotten out of bed again.
Even if that was the case.
While he was getting ready, he was listening to MESS' most recent album, so he knew what he'd have to deal with.

Their music had some great melodies, and he loved the way their voices harmonized with each other. The rappers sounded both cute yet tough at the same time, and the vocalists both sounded sexy yet cute as well.
It really was an interesting combination, just like BTS was.
KIM TAEHYUNG
de649a366fe745e4bb10f5bd9b08a901.jpg
V hadn't sat still ever since the manager had told them about their collaboration with MESS.
He was nervous. Of course he was.
They'd have to work together with four pretty, super talented girls. And that for weeks, probably even months on end.
It was definitely something new, it was a challenge and BTS would have to face that challenge.
Not that the boys had never risen above a challenge before, but they just never had to face something like this. Sure, they were used to screaming fans and reading thirsty fantweets and they knew all about the Vmin, Vkook, Sope, Namjin and any other ships - but going on tour with a girl group...
Tae didn't want to know what crazy conspiracies ARMY would come up with this time.
He just hoped that they would respect MESS.

The young man shook his head to stop overthinking things again, and tried to focus on what he should wear.
He was thinking about throwing together a fancy Gucci-ensemble, but after second thought he thought it would be better to wear a suit.
But then he had to think about what suit he should wear. He had so many, he just didn't know what to do with them.

Taehyung just couldn't decide, so he wrote a text message to both Jungkook and Jimin asking what they were going to wear.
San Ji-Yeon
-Im-Jin-ah-nana-after-school-40205159-268-380.png
Jiyeon had slipped into a pretty pastel pink skirt and a light blue blouse, topping it off with some nude heels and her hair beautifully combed back into a ponytail. Her makeup was simple, yet sexy, and she had to admit to herself that she looked quite ravishing. Although it would've been arrogant of her to say something like that about herself.

Before making her way back to the studio, she'd quickly made sure that there was enough food available for Do-Hee and Giyuri, and that they'd be able to move into the stall whenever they felt like it. She didn't want them to be out at night, waiting for her to come back and open up the shack, especially because she didn't know when she'd be back home. She could be back at 9 PM, or perhaps at midnight, or perhaps even at 3 in the morning. It was hard to tell, she doubted anyone knew how long this meeting with BTS would be. And she just didn't want her sheep and cow to freeze - even if it wasn't that cold at night. They were her babies after all.

Jiyeon arrived just on time. This was a first because she was usually ten to twenty minutes early. She'd probably fangirled a little too long before finally getting ready.
She quickly greeted the manager and crew and awkwardly sat down, waiting for the other members to arrive as well.
Yoon Eun-Ji
52e18d50c642c68c2d1fb5f49d86796f.jpg
Luna had spend way too much time screaming and wondering what she should wear instead of actually doing something, which made her - like usually - too late.

She wasn't sure what to go for.
Was she going to dress pretty?
Cute?
Sexy?
All three?

After what seemed like three minutes but were in reality almost an eternity, she chose to go for a sexy and pretty look, although she could probably make it cute too by doing some aegyo.
While she always needed hours to pick an outfit, and Mini was like that too, she could paint a pretty face on in a couple of minutes.
Staying with the red theme, she did some dark red makeup, and although it was preferred by society for korean women to keep it natural and only use light blush tones and eyeliner, she decided to go bold and absolutely adored it.

It was exactly 5:30 when she had finished getting ready, and now she had to hurry up quickly to make it back to the studio before she'd be too late and they left without her.

In a strange way - Luna believed it to be a miracle - she made it back in five minutes, even if it had taken her much longer to get home.
"I'm here!"

Kim Namjoon
large.jpg

Namjoon hadn't been too indecisive while getting ready. He knew the thought of getting dressed for girls would make him second guess everything, so he focused on wearing something that Manager would approve of for the event. It was a party of sorts,so it was probably somewhat formal but not so formal that he had to wear a full tux. After staring into his closet for a good ten minutes, he finally pulled out some pants and a colorful button-up to tuck in. It was dressy but not overly formal, which was exactly what he wanted.

After getting the rest of himself ready, which was thankfully pretty easy, he was able to make it back ten minutes early. He was internally pretty happy that he'd been early, since now he'd have time to just sit and process everything in his mind. After all, a brand new tour with four random girls wasn't the easiest thing to just blindly accept. Surely the other boys felt the same way-- well, maybe not Jimin. But for everyone else it had to be nerve wracking.

Looking around, there were already a few people mingling who he didn't recognize. It was most likely random producers and other staff who were involved in the upcoming collaboration. A stood up abruptly, thinking the girls had arrived, before sinking back into his chair. It was still early, there was no way they had arrived yet. If they did, he'd look rather dumb without the rest of his group. Just as he thought that, however, he caught sight of Seokjin across the room and breathed a sigh of relief as he approached him. "Did you sleep more?" He asked with a raised eyebrow as they waited for the rest.

Jimin had been planning his look in his head since he was first told to get ready. That being said, it should have been quick and painless for him to get ready... keywords being "should have been". It was all well and fine until the very last step of the process, which was simply putting shoes on. The shoes he pictured with his outfit, however, were nowhere to be found. This is how his simple getting ready process turned into yanking around everything in his closet to find one pair of shoes. At one point, Yoongi had even popped into his room just to ask about all the banging.

Luckily he'd taken a break amidst his search, taking time to text Taehyung and explain that he had went with a casual all black suit with no tie. He then added that he had lost his shoes and topped it off with a frowny face. The last bit wasn't helpful or useful, he just wanted some sympathy. Luckily Yoongi had returned after learning his problem, holding out a pair of his shoes. "You said the ones from Tokyo right? Just wear mine and stop being so loud." He said, setting the shoes down and leaving. Once again, he had come to Jimin's rescue. (He could have also just picked a different pair, he had plenty of shoes, but Yoongi seemed to know he wouldn't do that.)

But that was the uninteresting story of how he'd managed to avoid being late. Walking into one of the many event rooms in their studio, along with Hoseok and Yoongi, he was quick to spot Namjoon's tall frame. As everyone slowly started grouping together, his thoughts finally returned to MESS. Would this whole thing literally turn into a mess? The pun made him smile to himself. They could only wait for the girls to arrive and see.

Hong Sujin

Sujin had wasted most of her time to get ready watering her plants. Surely one of the maids would have done it, but it was nice to water plants and just take a breather. She had already done her hair and makeup for the day, so all she really needed was to change her outfit anyway. Leaving her hair down, she ended up going casual and cute with a denim skirt and red sweater tucked in. She wasn't sure how appropriate the outfit would be, she just really wanted an excuse to wear her favorite white boots.

Unsurprisingly, Sujin made it back around five minutes early. She was confused the Jiyeon hadn't beat her, as she was the best at arriving early. She did at least arrive on time, which was more than she could say for the other two. "Where are Luna and Mini?" She sighed, knowing that neither of them knew the answer. Just as she asked, Eun-ji's voice was heard. There was one accounted for, now there was only one left.

As a couple more minutes passed, the manager finally ushered them towards the van. Sujin waited to climb in, keeping her eyes peeled for Mini. Manager didn't look happy either, instructing someone to call her. Just as she took her phone out, however, a squeal echoed across the parking lot. This earned a sigh of relief from the leader as she climbed into the van. Things were already off to an interesting start, who knew what would happen next.

It was past five, and Mini was on her eighth outfit. Clothes were strewn all across her room, various accessories laying on the floor. She could feel Hoppy's judgemental gaze from his tank, silently reminding her of the time. He was probably actually just thinking about random frog things, but she liked to think he supported her. "I'm gonna have to pick this one, I'm out of time." She pouted, glancing down to her all pink ensemble. It was most fitting to herpersonality, since she loved pink, but was the outfit worthy of meeting BTS? The more she thought, it seemed there was no outfit worthy enough. If Luna or Jiyeon were around she'd make a joke about wearing no clothes at all.

It was five forty five by the time she arrived, running awkwardly through the parking lot in her white heels. She even hit a crack in the pavement at one point, stumbling with a surprised squeal. Luckily she was able to catch herself without messing up her outfit.

Climbing into the black van, Mini looked out with guilt. "I'm so, so sorry for being late." She said to manager, then turning to Sujin. "It won't happen again." They all knew that it probably would, but that went unsaid. Clearing her throat, she tried to lighten the mood. "We're literally on the way to meet BTS. Someone feel my head, is this real?" She asked jokingly, leaning happily against Jiyeon who she'd climbed in next to. Seven guys, four girls, what could possibly go wrong?
