The air in the morning was chilly and it made goosebumps form on Jake's skin. He didn't mind it, though. He preferred the cold weather rather than warm weather, anyway. Cold weather always just felt right to him, definetly put him in a better mood. Too bad the chilled air wouldn't last as the day continued. It would be extinguished as the sun rose and with it the true summer season would occur. Stupid summer weather...

Like the other students, Jake shoved a large bag with his clothes and other living necessities into the carrier of the Old Blue Hound bus. There were about five busses with a shit ton of other teens getting ready to leave for an annual school camping trip. They'd be gone for about a month or two and Jake was silently dreading it. It wasn't that he was afraid of going to some random place in the middle of nowhere. No, he could handle himself outside. He was worried about his mother.

Really worried.

He wasn't sure how she would be while he was gone. Would she have enough money for the time he was gone? Would she have her medicine taken care of? Would she eat her meals everyday? Would she be okay by herself?

The worries that poured into his mind as he reluctantly climbed into the bus piled inside his brain and it made his face give off a rather scary expression. The dark glare that had formed scared the other students away from him and he ignored the stares he got as he walked to the back and he sat in a seat to his right, right beside the window. He decided to wear something pretty comfortable since he'd be stuck in a damn bus all day. A pair of dark blue jeans, a black, short sleeved shirt, a dark brown leather jacket, and his dock Martin boots. Around his waist was dark brown, leather belt with a silver buckle. Scratching his head, he lifted the strap of his satchel over his head and placed it in the area between his waist and the wall of the bus.

He pulled his phone out from his back pocket and as he looked down at the black screen, he caught some guy staring at him and he grumbled out, "The hell you lookin' at?"

The brunette quickly looked away from him and pretended to do something on his own phone. Returning his gaze to the blank screen, he tapped the home button and the device breathed to life. Once he entered his passcode, he went straight to the messages and clicked on the second contact he had; his mother. He messaged her to let her know that he had made it and he wanted to make sure she would be alright while he was gone. She texted him back, stating that she would be fine and that he deserved a break from working so hard. She wanted him to enjoy himself while he was away. Maybe try to make some new friends.

Jake scoffed at that and told her that he loved her. He placed the phone back into his back pocket and stared out the window. He was sure nobody would sit beside him and if someone did happen to do so, then he'd just ignore them.

Holly Shae Hampton walked onto the bus with a small pink backpack from an expensive brand, a matching small bag over her shoulders as well as a matching bag she had her toiletries, like Shampoo, Conditioner, and other essentials. She also had her phone in her hand as she nervously looked around the bus, looking for someone she wanted to sit with since it'd be a long drive ahead of her.

She finally stopped at a seat where a guy was sitting. "Hey, I'm Holly Shae Hampton. May I sit here?" She asked, in a nervous, shaking voice, staring into his eyes with a look of nervousness in her eyes and face. She fidgeted while she waited for an answer.
