Have you ever learnt something interesting that you desperately want to use in an RP but have no settings or scenes where it would fit?
For example, I have recently been doing some research on how formal letters were written a few hundred years ago. All the little stylistic things and how some...
Don't have any specific examples, but every so often I will get people coming to me for m/f romance when I make it very clear in my search thread that I don't write that.
Me and a group of friends started a dnd campaign and it's the most chaotic thing ever. For the most part we drive our poor DM insane XD
The first or second session I rolled a few d20s in a row and long story short we now have a cleric dragon named "fluffy".
The DM also changed my character's...
Yeah, that's the thing. I know I can get around the issue by doing fantasy or making my own religions. But to me that's not really the point. I want to be able to write about religions that we have in the world already, the more well known ones.
Being judged isn't really my main concern, but I am always hesitant to make my characters religious. Or making them have a problem with religion due to reasons. Which is a shame since I love religious themes and religious symbolism so much! I do get around this by writing angels and demons, but...
People who message me saying only "Hey, wanna rp?" and nothing else.
Like, if I'm bumping my search thread then there's a pretty good chance I'm looking for more people. And I don't know whether I'm interested in RPing with you specifically, because you have given me absolutely nothing at all...

Anything with interesting character relationships. Whether that is platonic relationships, enemies-to-lovers, queerplatonic relationships, unrequited love, or even toxic relationships.
I usually make a faceclaim myself using Picrew, because finding a picture that is similar to what I have in mind for a character is almost impossible for me.
If someone insists on having a realistic faceclaim then AIs do a pretty good job of generating faces that don't really exist.
I only write OCs. Mostly because it makes me feel kinda iffy to use other people's characters. I worry about butchering them or not portraying them right. Also, I have had bad experiences with other people controlling my characters and make them say or do stuff they usually wouldn't so that may...
The longest one I had reached 100k words in just a few months. Funny thing is, in the universe only 5 or 6 days had passed. We spent 100k words on 5 days XD
My favourite side character has to be Rob Christian from one of my favourite RPs ever.
He's a middle aged cowboy that works in a library and always tells (probably made up) stories of his time as cowboy growing up on a ranch. He is just so kind, but gives the most horribly worded, cryptic...
