I know, right? This RP that Phadia and I have going on 2 years now is wonderful. It has a nice mix of heartwarming, encouraging, and loving moments. But it also contains a fair share of very dark and disturbing ones, as well. The kind that make your heart either sink or race because you're not sure what's going to happen next.

Yuppers! Daisie Mentioned our RP already, but we found the best RP's have a mix of comedy, tragedy, "horror", and mystery. If it has all four of those, we're golden! RP's that only have one element get boring very quickly.

What if you like a blend of both? What if you like a story with a lot of lightheated elements which deals with dark themes? I mean the purpose of that statement is that the person saying it does not want an extreme of either. They don't want it to be completely dark and egdy or too silly.

^Exactly what I mean. It has really started to wear on me that whenever I ask "do you prefer more light-hearted and comedic or dark and gritty" I ALWAYS get the answer "I prefer a mixture of both". Well, duh, I asked which of them you preferred not which do you want exclusively

I mean you gotta just ask them specifically. If they seem too indecisive then you can just do it the way you want to and theyll just go with it.
