"Hey." He said taking her hand. "Diana. I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. All of this. The demon. Wolfe. The torture you were put through. It's all my fault. I should have just run past the building." He said tears forming in his eyes.

The things he said to you. The things he did to you. I still have that inside of me. I still think those thoughts sometimes. Oh God. What sort.of husband am I?" He sobbed.

Arkalas goes to strike Peter, but Lazarus intercepts the attack. He falls next next to them and Eris looks at him with a weak smile.
"A protector to the end. I didn't deserve you, Lazarus." She says as they both fade out of of existence along with even more of the city. Seconds later, Tyson's house completely disintegrates. Those by Arkalas can see the portal he had opened begin to close.
"What? How!? You troublesome mortals are always getting on my nerves!" Arkalas shouts angrily as he shoots a wave of darkness through the area. "And now. ALL OF YOU are deathmarked!!" He fills the air nearby with a poisonous mist. "Now, your lungs and your dreams shall be corrupted!"

Allyson frowned seeing Eris fade away. " arkalas..you messed with the wrong people." She soon got a breath of the poisonous mist and started coughing.

Peter looked at where she had been with shock. Sans appeared grabbing Peter and Allyson and teleporting then all back to the house before they breath the mist. Peter's arms are still outstretched where they had been used to try and catch Eris. "No no no no." He said. He banged his fists on the floor. "No. Not again! I can't lose another one! I can't!" He yelled in agony. He pulled off the web shooter returning to his normal clothes. "No... I can't... Not again."
She heard yelling downstairs.

The mages all gathered in a ring to make a dome to keep the mist inside. "go to the portal to safety!" A portal was opened next to the lich.
In non-existence they met Chuck who smiled at them "hello there how are you all!"

Arkalas slowly began to get pulled back into the portal as it continued to close.
"I shall return, and when I do, I'm erasing EVERYTHING starting with all of you!" He says before going back through the portal completely, leaving a 10 foot rift behind.
Meanwhile, Tyson limps through the city, using his bow as a crutch.

"Yeah...there's a temple in a desert. Almost looks like Egypt, except in another dimension. Anyways, there's a spellbook there called the Tome of Hope. It's what was used to seal Arkalas the first time, and with it, we can take him out of his invincible form and kill him, though it still won't be easy."

"Sounds easy... I think." Joey closed his eyes and opened a portal to said temple "Is that the one?"

"Yep. That's the one. We just gotta get past the guards and traps and get to the book. I would've gotten it myself, but since I'm cursed with dark magic still, I can't touch it."

"Because the temple is protected by magic, much like that house you guys have. Prevents thieves from casually popping up and swiping it." He replied. Landsharks, Quicksand traps, annnnd Serpent Knights. That desert is where they originated.
