Name: Kala Velvet

Species: Drider, also known as a Spider centaur.
Personality: Kala enjoys her hobbies and using them to make other people happy. She generally tries to build people up and view things positively, working towards bettering a situation than getting frustrated with it. She is shy and uses very little hand motions while she talks since they are mostly kept near her as she talks.
Appearance: Black widow spider half, all eight legs and mandibles seeming like legs under her human torso. She has pale skin and red hair, she has two large eyes and six other smaller eyes around which were all completely black and beady, and her forearm down to her fingers was covered in her black exoskeleton like her spider half was making them almost armored hands. Her teeth also have two enlarged canines on the top row which inject venom.
Background: Kala was adopted early on by the government seeing as she was deemed a dangerous species. She grew up in foster care with a close eye on them but was frequently passed from home to home due to no one feeling comfortable in the end caring for the girl. She then ended up in a home where she was finally attacked, and that was the last straw. Now she resides in this house now in the hopes that a non-human residence will be better, pursuing her hobbies of knitting and sewing and sometimes baking.

species: Shadow, is essentially a black silhouette but has the ability to form a solid, human like figure
personality: Logan enjoys messing with people. Being a shadow means she can very easily sneak around and remain undetected if she so wishes. She does it all in good nature and is never really seen without a smile on her face, even when she is sad. She does not deal with emotions well. She can be incredibly sarcastic and is virtually unable to take anything seriously.

She doesn't even know if she was born that way. The first thing she remembers is waking up in a hospital bed. After realising she was flickering in and out of her Shadow form and human form, she panicked and fled. Not wanting to go back out of fear, she kept moving, stealing what she needed once she learnt how to control her two forms. She continued this way before almost getting caught and being helped out by someone in the house who then offered her a place to live.
