OOC Section

Personally a timeskip for me is a no go as I I'm sure if people actually did quest lines and went to classes they would find they have plenty to do. A restart makes senses just to put it back into the mainstream (I would probably just re use have my original stuff). I might also implement a bulletin board system giving people objectives to do at their studies or hangouts and once they've completed that I'll give them another and so and so forth.

So I guess I'm voting restart. From now on post restart or timeskip as well as bulletin board yes/ no. Also post Twist/ New GM if people want a new take. So 1 vote for restart and bulletin board yes.

Voting full restart. Makes sense to me, given the full stand-still we've come to. Get some new blood, some new ideas and go from there.

And on the bulletin board thing, that's a yes from me. We definitely need some sort of direction for roleplaying. I know my most glaring weakness is coming up with stuff to do and plots and ideas and pretty much anything that isn't the character writing itself. A handed down questline system of some kind would be most appreciated.

As for a new GM, I'm honestly not sure. On one hand, Twist, you certainly display qualities of a natural director and leader. On the other, I'm not sure how anyone else would compare. Tentatively voting Twist on that, but I'm interested in hearing other opinions and volunteers.
 
Voting full restart as well. There doesn't seem to be any other Marvel RP that's currently accepting characters so we'll definitely get some attention. And yeah I think Twist should stay as the main GM, though I have some ideas for the new RP and would be willing to help.

The bulletin board is also a good idea; it'll let people go do action-type things without slowing the RP down for everyone else. Hopefully it'll speed up the pace a bit. Don't get me wrong, the amount of detailed character development we've fit into the RP so far is pretty amazing, but it would be nice if some time actually passes in the new game.
 
I vote Twist stays GM, it'll be good to have some direction. Yes on the bulletin board, that's a very good idea. Then people can pick and choose what they'd like to do or write up an individual post on a plot point.

I vote for a time skip myself. Jump into the future. I like where I've gotten Bucky and where he's gotten with Nat and Steve, and around everyone else so I'd had to have to redo all that character development. Plus then we who have been here can have the stuff we've built up on and still times up to a new starting point for people who are new and want to come in.
 
I like the bulletin post idea :) S'ppose I'm with FarFlungDreamer FarFlungDreamer though when it comes to time skip. Just because it makes things easier for developing some kind of relationship between characters again.
 
I'm good with the bulletin idea. It definitely seems like it will give everyone something to do.
I don't know about the GM thing. I think if Twist can't be very active for a while, we at least need a co-GM who can take over when needed (don't know if we had one already or not).
As for time-skip vs. restart, I'd be good with either option. We probably need a couple new players to replace the absent people either way.
 
Ok seeing how it almost a tie on timeskip/restart I'm gonna propose an idea. Taking an idea from the game how about we use the timefog ( a mysterious fog which has trapped some of the students) for Natasha ( Jessy753 Jessy753 ) and Bucky ( FarFlungDreamer FarFlungDreamer ) which they can tentatively escaped from or are rescued from. We'll still have the teachers know you and stuff and I can set this up for you if need be.
Another idea is
Pym has portals in his lab to other dimensions and you guys can use one of them to come to the school from a different dimension (The Hosted Projects Universe)

Or we could do a Russian/ Red Room Event introducing you two but I'll need sometime to think about how to do it (a couple of days) and I'll also have to think about it time wise (happens on the first day? After a couple of days?)

Saying that we may be getting ahead of ourselves. I'm gonna probably start an interest check first see if we can get some more people to join first so if you guys want new characters/ old characters post there claiming dibs as well as your interest. Feel free to keep talking here in the mean time.

I would like an answer asap just so we can keep riding this new wave wave of interest.

Sorry not for getting back to you earlier. Both FarFlungDreamer FarFlungDreamer have finally figured out how we want to handle the restart. We figured out a way to have somekind of relationship established because both Tasha and Bucky arrived earlier at the Academy. We'll put some kind of recap of what has happened between the two in our starting post. Thanks for your ideas though :) They were really helpful to come up with an idea on how to handle this. This solution offers all of us to introduce smoothly, I think.
So, I guess you could simply start the RPG however you prefer.. :)
