Fandom Legend of Korra 1x1 (jaydude x Necroknight)

Li enjoyed Xiao' hands on her body very much. It was even better when they had a more stable living arrangements that didn't involve sleeping on the ground or in a bag. Namely because, when the two were intimate they didn't need to keep it silent.

Today was also no different - as both women would gasp, moan and sigh to their heart' content. Li especially, since she allowed Xiao to take the dominating rope this time around. It gave Li the opportunity to enjoy Xiao' new body better.

Several hours later, Li was cuddled upto to Xiao - both of them covered in sweat and naked under the sheets. As she slowly listened to the breathing of the younger woman - whom didn't give her any mercy today. It was quite enjoyable, especially when Xiao took charge and showed her skill with those fine hands.

"Mmm, you got some nice pillows," said Li, resting her head on Xiao' bosom.

NecroKnight NecroKnight
"Why, thank you." Xiao said, grinning down at the beautiful woman currently using her chest as a pillow.

The last few hours had been as enjoyable as they usually were, regardless of how exhausted and sweaty Xiao ended up afterwards. Although Xiao preferred to be dominated and ravished by the older woman, she was more than happy to swap roles if that was what Li wanted. At the end of the day, all that mattered to the two women was them expressing their love for one another in the most pleasurable ways they could think of.

"Li, I've been wondering. Do you think the Earth Kingdom is going to be stabilised soon?" Xiao asked, reaching down and brushing strands of hair out of Li's face.

Li looked up at that, thinking her question through - if they had remained at Republic City and wondered about the fate of the Kingdom, then she wouldn't be quite so sure about the future. But now at the front, she could understand the basic fate awaiting them atleast. "Well, not tomorrow or in a week. But I do believe we're maybe a year or half a year away," admitted Li, looking up at Xiao.

"I mean, we've taken or brought under our control atleast half of the places already. And the other half, is supposed to be more stable than the outer regions. I'd consider most of the harder fighting over for now. I think, we might be more stationary than moving from now on. Namely cause the regions that remain - have remained intact, but are resisting more out of political than security reasons. I guess, now it's time to play less soldier and more politician. But that isn't our job."

Li ran her hands up Xiao' back and her sides - knowing it made the girl shiver under her touch. "I wouldn't mind, being in a more stable environment. Just helping the average people rebuild. Gives me more time, to spend time with you...and this warm bed," she said, rubbing her body against Xiao - then she had a question to ask Xiao. "I know...this seems out of nowhere - but have you...........considered..............adoption? I mean, after this war and settling down?"

Xiao writhed and whimpered from pleasure at Li's touch, and the thoughts her words invoked. Her own hands drifted down to Li's back and started to gently stroke it. She might have said something, but then Li bought up the idea of them settling down together after the Earth Kingdom was stabilised.

"Well, to be honest, that never really occurred to me." Xiao replied. "To tell you the truth, I always assumed that once we were finished here, our lives would go back to the way they had been before Ba Sing Se was destroyed."

"With the addition of us being a couple, of course." She added hastily, not wanting Li to get the wrong idea. "But still...settling down with me, the way that you suggested...is that something you really want to do?"

Li chuckled sadly to the idea of them returning to their normal lives. "Yeah...something tells me, after everything we have been through. It won't be the same anymore, as just going back and sneaking off to eat shrimp from the dining table," humored Li - remembring those times, when the two would just hang around the snack table and eat at the equisite food.

"Yes....I wanna settle down with you," spoke Li, nuzzling upto her neck. "I don't care what your parents say. I love you, that isn't going to change. They can fire me if they wish...but....hehe....they haven't been paying me for the past two years."

Namely Kuvira was - although, that was mostly through the monetary support of the other nations. But for her, money was money in any way. "I think we'll do well. I mean, you've become such good at healing people - I would offer, you could become a physician after this war. It's a very respectful position," spoke Li, before yawning. "But whatever comes. I wanna stay with you."

(Skip to them arriving at Qutong, three days later?)

Xiao sighed, stroking the back of Li's head as the other woman nuzzled into her neck.

"I don't know, Li. I really do love you, and the idea of us living together, making a life somewhere, being able to love each other as we saw fit...few things would make me happier."

"But at the same time, I also love my parents. And honestly? They've always been good to me, and I think that they would accept our relationship once they heard about it...if it wasn't for the fact that my family is Earth Kingdom nobility. Even if that means little in terms of wealth and prestige nowadays, they're going to want to...see their legacy continue."

(Not quite yet.)

"They can't be like that. I mean look at what we are doing," replied Li, as she adjusted herself, so she was lying ontop of Xiao completely - rising up and pulling her face upto Xiao. Their faces only inches apart.

"Yeah...true they are nobility. But well...currently, that title isn't worth much anymore or...atleast currently isn't," sighed Li, as she lied her head onto Xiao' shoulder. "I love you Xi...I don't want to give you up....after so many years of being together....to just have them say no and ruin it."

"I don't hate your parents....I am just...feeling it unfair, if it happened," hummed Li, hugging Xi.

Xiao hugged her lover close to her, her fingers tracing patterns on the other woman's back.

"I want you to be my lover, Li, but at the same time, I also want to make my parents happy. They've done so much for me, and I feel that I owe them that, at least."

Xiao sighed. "I've never told you this before, but the main reason I struggled to accept my feelings for you at first was that I was afraid of how my parents would react. I thought that, if they found out, I'd either end up estranged from them, or they'd sack you and I'd never see you again."

"I don't regret our relationship one bit. If we hadn't acted on our feelings for each other back then, we would probably end up miserable as a result. But I can't help but fear that something else just as bad is going to happen anyway."

"It's going to be okay," replied Li, hugging Xi. "We'll find them soon, your father said he can hold his city together. I bet they'll be more surprised to see us in uniform."

While Li was putting on a brave face, she hadn't heard honestly anything from Qutong and neither had Xiao. Whose letters stopped coming about six months after they had joined the army. Li hoped the situation hadn't gotten that bad. But if anything, they should have evacuated via airship. Plus, maybe they just don't know where Li and Xi are - and neither do they where to send their messages.

"How about we get some sleep?"

NecroKnight NecroKnight
"Yes, let's get some sleep. Goodnight, Li." Xiao said, stroking Li as she started to nod off.

Once Li had fallen asleep however, Xiao extracted herself from her grip, taking care not to disturb her, before dressing and returning to her barracks. It had always been this way. Kuvira and the vast majority of her army probably wouldn't have been bothered by their relationship, but Xiao still didn't want to draw attention to it, lest it lead to the two of them being treated differently by those around them. And being absent from the barracks when everyone else there was waking up tended to attract awkward questions.

Several days later, the 13th Army was back on the move trecking through the hard terrain. Li always found it a nightmare, namely cause the amount of things they needed to keep with them was a shit storm in the paper work department.

Namely she had to make sure they had everything when they left and everything when they arrived. There was always some eager yet dumb youngblood hoping to make a quick coin. So it was mandatory to keep them all in order.

Atleast they were travelling by armored car this time around. It helped, although walking long miles was still mandatory from time to time. Li was checking their map to see - what was their likely destination soon.

NecroKnight NecroKnight
Not everyone in Kuvira's army got to ride in a fancy train or an airship, Xiao thought ruefully, as the armoured car drove along the bumpy road. Still, it was better than walking.

Looking out of the window slits in the side of the car, Xiao noticed that they were passing a number of very familiar looking landmarks. She turned to Li, wondering if her lover had been able to glean anything from her map.

Li' face was scrunched up as she stared at the map. Looking at the map, and then outside at the surrounding areas. She was biting her lip as she stared at the map - before sighing out. Rolling up the map and then stuck her head out of the car.

"Oh no," muttered Li, as she found a familiar landmark and asked the armored car to stop. She soon stepped outside, the broken sign of Qutong nearby. The city looking like it had been sieged for some days and then left to decay for some months from disrepair.

"What is it?" Xiao asked when Li stopped the car. Ignoring the looks of confusion from the other army members, she got out of the car, whereupon everything became clear.

"No. No. No, no no no no."

Xiao dropped to her knees at the site of the destroyed city, despair on her face.

The armoured car had been traveling in a column of five other such vehicles, and these naturally had also stopped. Before long, the commander of the column came over to Li to ask what was going on.

"This is Qutong, Sir," spoke Li, namely their next destination at the moment. Only that the city had been so demolished that they hadn't noticed it from afar.

"It was once our home," she said - remembering many years of caring for Xiao. Now to see it all destroyed.

"Sir. Please. Permission to head into the city to search for survivors?" asked Li, their job was to restore order and Qutong looked like it would need it and be a good outpost to set up in for the Western Offense.

She then walked over to Xiao, placing her hand on the young woman' shoulder. Not able to show much affection beyond that. "Come on Xiao. We have to get up and go looking for survivors."

The commander looked around the ruined city for a few seconds, before turning back to Li. "Permission granted. I'll radio Kuvira and explain the situation to her."

After Li returned to her, Xiao slowly got up. The sight of the destroyed city invoked a sense of hopelessness in her, but she pushed it down.

"I understand." Xiao said, as she and Li walked through the destroyed city. Many buildings were either damaged or destroyed, either from the sacking, or from decay, with no-one around to maintain them. On several occasions the two of them found a dead body, or at least a group of them. At first, such a sight would have traumatised Xiao, but after several months of it, she found that it didn't really bother her that much anymore. Except when the corpse was clearly that of a young child.

"Judging by the level of decay on these bodies, the city must have been attacked about two weeks ago. And judging from the injuries, the attackers were a combination of non-benders and Earthbenders. In other words, bandits." Xiao said. Other soldiers in the group would also be looking through the city, but so far they had found nothing.

Li and Xiao soon reached the mansion - where Xiao' family had lived for generations. While the place looked mostly intact, it had the tell-tale signs of having been ransacked. Li looked saddened at the fact, but was soon alert upon hearing somebody inside the place. "Masks on," she whispered, pulling her facemask up. Both a way to strike fear into the enemy and keep their identities secret.

Li was first in, having Xao follow after her. Xi' home looking like a sandstorm had gone through the place. She raised her finger for silence, when she heard laughing and whimpering happening in the next room.

She saw three bandits in the room, and what drove her to see red - namely Xiao' mother. Being treated like some slave, her clothing torn and face dirty. Li didn't announce her presence merely charging into the room and kicking the first guy in the chest - with enough force to crack bone.

The other two soon reacted, pushing Xi' mother into the corner and tried to attack her. Li blocked the strike and replied by striking the filth in the gut, throat and threw him through the stone wall, with a loud crunch.

The third one tried to bluff her way out - but Li soon chi-blocked all his limbs and soon started grinding her boot into the bastard' face. "You know what I didn't want to do....BREAK YOUR NECK!" she growled, pushing it down more. Until she remembered who was in the room and removed her foot.

"Chief Medic. We got one wounded. Female," sighed Li, soon allowing Xiao to enter the room and see her wounded was her own mother. While Li dragged the two bandits out to interrogate them.

When they entered the ruined mansion, Xiao had hoped that her family had managed to flee to Republic City and join her uncle there. But seeing her mother lying there, being tormented by those bandits, swiftly snuffed that hope. She would have joined Li in taking out those bandits, but the sound of a door slamming open drew her attention, and she looked around to see three more bandits emerging.

The first of the bandits, wielding a large wooden club with spikes on it, came charging forward. Xiao reached up with her arms and quickly yanked down, causing a section of the stone ceiling to crack off and fall crushing the bandit underneath.

The second of the bandits, this one a young woman, lifted up a large chunk of the destroyed wall and launched it towards Xiao, who used her own Earthbending to stop it in its tracks, before sending it flying at the other two bandits with twice as much force. The woman tried to stop it, but it was much too fast for her, and it smashed into her body with full force, knocking it back several meters.

The third bandit on the other hand managed to duck underneath the huge chunk of stone, before frantically throwing rock after rock at Xiao as she charged towards him, smashing the projectiles to dust with her fists, elbows and feet as she advanced. Once she was close enough, she formed a gauntlet of broken stones around her right fist, and punched forward with it. The gauntlet flew off and shattered against his chest, as he was knocked to the floor.

Moments later, one of the army's Metalbenders entered by smashing through the wall, having heard the fighting from nearby. Xiao instructed him to restrain the three bandits she'd taken out, before running off to rejoin Li and her mother. As Li dragged the bandits off, Xiao came over to kneel beside her mother, who stirred feebly at the sound of her daughter's voice.

"Mom...are you okay? Where are you hurt?"

(The irony of this happening on mothering sunday has not been lost on me :) )

Li wasn't much merciful in extracting information from the deadbeats. Even the woman amongst them got a good thrashing by her. Namely she was milking them for every piece of information they had about Xiao' family and more.

Plus since Li and Xi were the medical cadre, the bandits couldn't be taken away to to medics. Since the woman they abused was the mother of a medic. Despite Kuvira' dark practice of conscripting some of the bandits captured - there was still the more lawful part of their army. Which took every opportunity to payback the traitors - with the worst tasks and assignments.

Even now, Libwas considering to bury them all in a shallow grave for their deed. Eventually Li finished her talks and placing them under guard - when to check up on Xiao and her mum.

"So? How we looking, Xi?" asked Li, returning inside and removing her mask and helmet. Revealing that Xi wasn't alone and their daughter' leader was Li herself.

"She's still alive, and stable. Her left leg, right arm and a number of ribs are broken though, and she's slipping in and out of consciousness." Xiao replied, her breathing deep as she feared for her mother's life.

"Can you...can you get some people to search the rest of the mansion? There may be...more members of my family there." Xiao said. In any case, she needed to get her mother out of this crumbling building.

After using her Earthbending to fashion a brace and splint for each broken limb, in order to allow them to set properly, Xiao gently detached the stone her mother was currently lying on as one slab, before slowly lifting it up and carrying it out of the building, towards where the convoy had stopped.

"You can do this, Chief Medic Xi," spoke Li, leaning down and squeezing Xiao' hand. "Your authorized to use anything and any personal to save this person."

Li then yelled out the window in her booming voice, ordering the soldiers to come and give the grounds a good sweep.

Li then got to searching the grounds - while several other medics came to aid Xiao in treating her mother. All professionals and skilled in their work from two years of practice.

Thankfully, it didn't take Xiao much to treat her mother, and before long, the older woman was conscious, and remained so.

"Xiao...my daughter...is that you?" she asked, slowly turning her head to look at her.

"Yes, mother. It's me." Xiao replied, removing her mask and helmet and taking her mother's hand in both of hers. Tears were beginning to leak from the eyes of both women.

Li soon enough entered the medical tent. Smiling at seeing Xiao and her mum alive and responsive. Li soon also kneeled infront of them - smiling at he woman whom had picked her up when she was young and made it so to be Xiao' future caretaker.

"Nice to see you awake, Missus. I apologize that we weren't here sooner," she said, adding her hand to the co-joined duo.

"Well, I doubt that we were the only state that was at risk." Xiao's mother replied, giving a small grin in spite of everything.

"What happened, mother?" Xiao replied.

"Bandits." the older woman replied. "They attacked us two weeks ago, without warning. We didn't stand a chance, they outnumbered us several times over."

Xiao shuddered at the thought of such an attack. Buildings being destroyed, people getting killed, bandits running amok...

"Where...where's father?" Xiao asked, dreading the response.

"The last time I saw him, he was heading over to the western gate to assist the defense of the city."

jaydude jaydude

"I have already sent a search party after to finding him," replied Li to that. "According to the bandits we 'interrogated' - they managed to defeat the forces at the western gate and capture a few as hostages. They had been forced to some mine to dig for silver," she explained. "Apparently as they called it 'a day of honest work for the wealthy snobs'."

"Don't worry about those bandits, they won't trouble you anymore at anytime ever again," spoke Li, not mentioning those bandits had been dealt with and buried in an unmarked grave. "Sorry, if I took you daughter into danger. But...well, it looked like you might have needed my help more."

Li was being nostalgic at the moment - but soon shook her head and smiled in reply. "So, Xi. Should we talk about our situation?" asked Li - namely meaning their relationship to her mum. While leaving the question open, incase Xiao wasn't willing to talk right away.
