Realistic or Modern Happy Things Always End (Zombie Apocalypse rp)

Zero continued to hit at them as forcefully as he could, only managing to get them knocked over or crack their skull a bit. 'I was never the best player....' He thought to himself as he struggled to keep them away from him. Suddenly, he saw a few bodies go down and he felt a sudden rush of relief. He continued to swing at them with more power. He ended up killing a few of them.

Elliot was behind them, ready to jump in if she needed to help her brother or the strange man who decided to help them. She was worried. What would she ever do if her brother ended up dead at some given point in time. She'd probably break. 'I swear to all that is good, I will protect my brother in the best way I can.' She thought, charging into the sickos. She didn't make sure she was in any line of fire but did it anyways. What happened, happened. She took down three of them and quickly scrambled up.

Zero suddenly saw his sister change in and his eyes widened. 'Oh no...' He thought, rushing to her side and hitting the ones near her. "I thought I told you to stay back!" He whisper-yelled at her. He saw Elliot shake her head. "You implied it but told me to go get the two people to help." She said, using her usual smart aleck tone like she usually does. "Don't ever do that again." He demanded her in a slightly rough tone. He looked over at the disappointed girl and sighed. "I don't want you getting hurt." He said, whacking another creep in the head. Elliot kicked another one in the knee which made it broke.

She felt terrible. She was hurting what used to be her teachers, friends, pupils. She didn't understand how everything could go to hell in just a matter of seconds. Somehow, she got some join in it. They all screwed her over anyways. 'Hey, just think about it, no need to steal and worry about getting caught by the cops at this point...' She thought, laughing a bit at her self comfort.

Elizabeth rubbed her left arm and sighed. "I hope so but we believe that is the safest place we could go to. Full of people who have been trained for dangerous events, weapons and medicine. Besides, our father works there and I'm sure he'll gladly help us". Brian walked towards his sister, tired of the destruction he had seen during the last few minutes. He just wanted to go home and pretend like nothing had happened but nothing was going to take the horrible memories from that day away from him. "I saw other survivors nearby".

Sam is not a big guy, but when he was charging at these things, he felt like a tank. He was close, one of the zombies looked at Sam. The zombies eyes had an eerie sense to it, they still contained the cold, lifeless look, but they jerked left and right, as if searching for something they would never find. Staring into them reminded Sam of his brother again, did his brother also wear the same decrepit face?

Sam was feet away from a zombie before he slammed the end of the gun into the forehead of the zombie. Sam fired a shot into its head, the spastic eyes stopped and fixated on him, and the body fell backward and slammed against the ground. He looked back up and met eyes with a kid with a baseball bat. His eyes darted at movement behind the baseball kid. He took aim and fired, missing twice but the third bullet met its destination in the attackers head. He kept firing at anything that moved. Every time he killed one, he thought of his brother. "He was only a fucking kid!" he shouted at the oncoming zed as he fired. "Eleven years old!" He yelled again, his voice becoming wobbly and unstable. "You selfish bastards, its your fault he is gone! You took him!" He yelled once again, this time his voice cracking and turning into a sob. He aimed at a zombie that was getting dangerously close. He aimed the gun, and met his, wet, teary eyes with the half eaten figure's. Sam squeezed the trigger and it let out a echoing click, indicating he was out of ammo.

Luna lowered her gun and noticed the newest arrival. She followed the guy closely and as she heard his gun click out of ammo she turned and started firing her own gun at the monsters trailing. She heard him yelling about how young he was, assuming he had already lost someone significant. She noticed he had tears in her eyes and suddenly she was overwhelmed with compassion.

"Hey, I don't know what happened.. But you'll be okay. In time. But right now we need to stay alive." She gave him a small smile and handed him her extra ammo.

Akira looked down at the man speaking to them. His eyebrow raised when he saw the man in rather formal clothing, far different than the bloodstained clothes that he was wearing. "Sorry, but we don't" he answered, and began walking towards the fire escape, making sure he slowed down enough for Claire. "Watch your step..."

Sam froze up. The click of the gun made him feel suddenly powerless. Like getting a taste of something wonderful, only to have it taken. However, shortly after, a bullet whizzed past him, impacting the approaching undead. His mind still a jumbled mess, he heard bits of what seemed to be sympathy, he turned to see the first woman that approached him. She was holding a box of ammunition. He realized how sad he must look. He took the box and wiped away his tears. He was embarrassed to have snapped like that, he felt weak. He looked down at the box and his gun. "I cant break like this. I have to hold it together..." he thought. He reloaded the weapon under the cover fire of the first woman. Eventually, the brother and sister, the first woman, and Sam managed to kill off the rest of the zombies. But Sam knew the peace wouldn't last long

Luna realized the peace which was actually the calm before the storm. She seized the opportunity to make proper introductions.

"Since there is no time like the present. Im Luna." She introduced herself to the younger brother and sister as well as the young man she met earlier.

She smiled and put up her long blonde hair in a ponytail as she waited for there responses.

She decided she was probably the eldest of them all and therefore the majority of the responsibility fell on her. Luna was the nurturing type so naturally she wanted to keep them all safe.

She realized they needed to find a vehicle and maybe some more people because larger numbers meant more safety.

Something was definitely off about the man in the suit. However, she didn't trust him. Claire trusted Akira more then the man in the suit, whoever he was. When Akira told her to watch her step, she was sure to take each one with caution. One slip and that could be it for the baby. She rested her other hand on her stomach as she and Akira took each step slowly, and she was silent the whole time. Claire also figured that the best time to speak again was when they got into Akira's Car.

Sam took a long gaze into the halls, keeping an eye for anything. When he heard a voice, he jumped. His head jerked back, it was the older blond woman. She seemed to speak hastily, telling them her name. "Luna" he repeated, that name always reminded him of the moon. "My name is Sam, its nice to meet you in such great conditions." he said sarcastically. "What about you two?" he asked the brother and sister, trying to sway the conversation away from himself, still embarrassed by his little outburst.

During Sam's breakdown, Zero was making sure they were all dead while scolding Elliot.

"You could've died!" He said, kicking the stomach of one.

"But I didn't!" She said, frowning. She noticed him kicking the creep and sighed. "I'm pretty sure that's not how you check if they're dead..." SHe mutered, crossing her arms. Zero just took a deep breathe and faced Elliot, about to say something but he heard Sam ask their names.

"Oh, Zero's my name. This is Elliot." He said, pointing to his littler sister. He didn't realize that he was covered in blood at the time so he rested his arm on Elliot's shoulder. She didn't really seem to care about the whole bloody situation, she just looked very skeptical of the other two who were known asLuna and Sam to be exact.

Elliot looked up at Zero and slightly dragged him away a bit and whispered. "What're we going to do?! What about mom and dad, and our other siblings? D-do you think they-re de- creeps?" She asks, bitting her lip. She thought about what would've happened if they were and what she could've done to stop it. 'If I stayed home from school with Zero or dropped out before hand...' She continued to think on nd clamped her eyes shut and shook her head. 'Don't think like that.' She told herself and looked up at Zero who seemed really pale and who was staring in the distance. "What is it..?" Elliot asked, turning around and her eyes widening.

There was a horde of sickos heading their way. A clump of live, rotten flesh charging at them with quick stumbling feet. "Oh shit..." She mumbled, reaching for Zero's bat which she took easily. Zero realized what his younger sister was about to do and grabbed her arm and ran the opposite direction. He stopped next to the other two and told them in a calmed manner, "We need to get the hell out of here."

Suddenly Someone ran out in front of Zek's car. He skidded to the left. "Was that a monster?" asked Zek's 6 year old cousin called John. "I don't know John but I'll go look." Zek grabbed his Claw Hammer and opened the door. He saw a man in a black hood running down an alley. "Hey! Stop!" Zek shouted. He swiftly ran to his car and went to the other end of the alley. Zek found some pills,"He must have been a scavenger. Well at least we got something out of it."

"Well, do you mind if I stay with you people, being alone against the crazy ones is a....unstable point of position right now," Leo said loudly used his wards as best as possible, though an easier phrase escaped his grasp on English. Slowly he took out an empty clip and began to load his bullets into it. "If you would...uhm like I have a car we could drive in, it can fit all of us I believe, and anything you need to take with us. I have a trunk," he said happily as he tapped a final bullet into the clip. Finally he slipped the clip into his pocket and tapped his leg with his finger.

"Oh, there's no way im going to abandon my car. She's been with me for so long- Besides, she was made to handle off-roading, so driving through crowds of these... things, shouldn't be a problem." He and Claire made it to his car, and he opened the back door for her, helping her crawl into the back seat and lie down. After she was settled, Akira stepped out and opened the front door. "You can ride shotgun, if you want."

Sam heard the nonrhythmic rumble of the new horde approaching. Zero looked at him and Luna, suggesting they should go. "Great idea" he said nervously. He spun around and began to run, however each step granted more pain on his head. As he was running he touched the bandage, it felt warm and wet, all this moving was making his heart pump the blood to his head faster, not good. As they exited the building he looked back at the others, "Yeah, I'm not going to be able to run a marathon with these, Olympic track certified undead with my head like this. So if you guys plan to keep me around, a car would be useful. " he said.

Luna smirked as she ran, she had torn off her wedges and ran with some stripy sandals, although sytlish, still not the best footwear for running away from a hoard of zombies. She saw blood all over Sam's head, beginning to soak through the bandage.

"Yeah, I think we will keep you." She smiled at him for just a moment before continuing on.

She saw a black lifted f150 that looked in good shape.

"There," She pointed at the truck. "You go get inside and see if it works and I will keep them off." She told him.

@Deadlykid

Sam looked in the direction Luna pointed. There stood a big, black truck. "That's convenient as hell." he said. He dashed toward the truck. As he approached it he tried all the doors, non of them gave." The only way is to break the window..." he murdered to himself. He took out his gun and put it on safety, he then flipped it around, holding it by the barrel, swung it behind him then brought it forward hard, against the window of the truck. He flinched at the sound of the window breaking, it reminded him of his wonderful day today. He reached over and unlocked the door, then opened it.

The trucks alarm boomed to life, making him jump and fall off the foot rail on the lower side of the car. He fell on his back.A shock of pain shot, up into his head. The truck continued to wail it's jarring alarm. "Shit, everyone within a mile is going to hear this thing." he said to himself. He quickly got back up and entered the truck. He sat in the driver seat and looked over where the keyhole to start the car would be, nothing, no keys. "Gee, if only I could look up how to fucking hot wire a car..." he said to himself sarcastically.

He remembered the group of people he saw on the roof. "The man with dark, short hair had gone to his car and opened it to get a toolbox!" he thought to himself. He hated to rely on a stranger, who would most likely shoot him on sight, but he was in a stalemate.

"No luck! The truck's missing its keys, I'm a little short handed on hot wiring skills and it might take to long anyway. However I do remember seeing a guy with a in shape car and keys, right now, it might be our only chance." he shouted from the truck, to the small group.

The only thing on Claire's mind was resting. When she and Akira made it to the Car, he helped her into the back seats and helped her get comfortable. Of course, that was why she was silent more then half the time. She was trying to conserve energy. During the car ride, she was probably going to fall asleep. Hopefully, Akira would be gentle with the driving. After he helped her get settled, she just took a deep breath and relaxed herself. From what she could tell, the baby was in good condition and nothing really happened out of the car accident. She then tried to fall asleep as she rested in the car.
