The sound of something banging on a wall echoed through the first floor of the facility. What could have been making this kind of noise at such an early hour of the day? For it was none other than Ryan hammering away at the wall of the shared living room. Various posters hung poorly against the wall. Most of them being hanged by a rusty nail, or a severely smashed thumbtack, along with some tacky looking paper streamer chains boarding various edges of the walls. Hideous decorations everywhere along with some three large flimsy foldable chairs complimented by some rather glorious twenty dollar lawn chairs from Walmart!!!! Man those were a good deal he bet everyone was gonna love them so much! It was such a great way to get them interested in where they were going! Cause first they’ll have a nice lunch all together!!!!! While they were getting ready to go to such an exciting place today. An auto body shop to replace the last tire on the school bus so everyone got to learn about vehicles and maintenance. He and his sister Poppy couldn’t scratch it but someone kept stealing their tires, Ryan thought of using the extra cameras but seeing as they’re expensive it was an absolute no go.

“Now that’s the last of the super motivational posters! Bet everyone is going to love them!” Ryan gleefully shouted dumping the hammer into a rather empty toolbox as he clapped his hands. Taking one more look of most recently hanged tacky poster; which was a sloth on a horse’s back. “Okay now to get everyone into the common room! Poppy should almost be done with the lunches!” wiping the sweat off his forehead he went and flipped open a switch that held a small microphone wired into the wall. Bringing the silvery device to his mouth to scream his words. “May everyone please come to the common room! It’s time for some lunch and some fun! Before we go on our magical adventure today, also please remember to show up in your human forms everyone!”

Everest
“Evie”
Mentions:

A light growl sounded, from where the building’s snow leopard resided upon the cold corner of the roof. Resting peacefully away from the others, It was honestly the best part of the building Everest thought, the high walls from the 2nd floor protected this perfect corner from the harsh sunlight. No idiot lion was able to bother her up here as he was incapable of getting up here, same with the majority of the others making it a perfect hiding spot away from everyone, plus it was good for napping. Especially from those imbeciles that called themselves the caretakers of everyone here. The male was quite incompetent of himself after all, and the female, well Everest avoided that one as she knows how to knit those uncomfortable creations.

They were torture devices too warm, and irritating to the fur. Plus people had tacky tastes! Who’d wanna wear a sweater with a dancing monkey on it when you could track down and eat one! Not that she would personally. She heard they taste gamey.

“Please come to the common room!” The screechy human’s voice echoed through the outdoor speakers that were stretched along the tall chain-link fences waiting to zap anyone who dared to escape.

“Why can’t someone just eat the people already! If his voice becomes a nuisance one more time I swear I’m gonna! ” Everest called out flattening her ears.

Vitra paced her room restlessly; at least, the parts she could pace, that weren’t obstructed by abandoned clothing, empty food packets, found sticks with tooth marks in, and various other clutter. For some time now she had heard near constant hammering on the walls elsewhere in the house, and this coupled with her confinement in the building made her agitated. Humans lived in such weird, complex dens, big yet with too many walls, and stayed inside them for so long. It was hard to to find places to run inside them. She had been outside previously, but that had been too small as well, and after electrocuting herself roughly eleven times on the chain link fence she had finally retired grumpily to her room.

She wondered what the hammering meant. Was hammering another thing humans did for fun? Few things else that they did made much sense so far.

And then the human voice came through on the speaker nearby, loud enough to make Vitra jump mid-pace. Please come to the common room! Interesting, Vitra thought, ears rising slowly. Maybe there would be food. Curious, she strode out of the open door of her room and set off in the direction of the common room.

King Nero
King had been sleeping most of his time, floating on the water while keeping one of his eyes open. Usually he would sleep all night and be awake at night but this time was different as something had kept him awake. Maybe it was what those humans called dreams or was it that he had been fully energized after drinking that juice*Red Bull* when he had gone to the kitchen and drink something. Unlucky him, since somewhere or someone was hammering away, or whatever the words those humans used. Yummy, he just though of how tasty those humans before had tasted, back when he had first been caught. When he heard the announcement, King growled before swimming toward the door that lead outside, deciding to turn into his human form. There was clothes on the side of the wall, so he just grabbed what was on it and put it on before starting to make his way toward the common room. "They better have food ready or I'll bite anyone." King growled.

Yali
Yali was hungry as hell, if he said so. Sure he had eaten something before falling asleep yesterday but that was yesterday, and now it was today, he was hungry as hell and wanted to eat something. But of course he couldn't eat any of the animals here or the two humans. Hmmm, he wondered if he ate Ryan, would Yali become as stupid as him??? Possible, he didnt want to catch whatever that human had. Maybe it was a disease that affected everyone because the female human also seemed to be somewhat as stupid as him or maybe more??? Honestly he wasnt completely sure who was more stupid, Ryan, Poppy or Everest??? Huh, Everest was even more stupid so why should he debate on this. Just as Yali was about to turn back into his animal form and crawl onto his bed, he heard the announcement, telling everyone to head over to the common room. Why at this time?? Stupid male human. Shaking his head, Yali started to make his way over to the common room once the doors were unlocked.

Shiro Kuma

Shiro yawned as he opened the door to the fridge he had been sleeping on. Normally one of the humans would have checked on his sleeping spot, to make sure that he was at his room but it seems like yesterday they forgot to do that as he had peacefully slept on the fridge the whole night. Opening the door, he walked out of it and stretched a bit as he checked one of the drawers that he held his human clothes. Just as Shiro was about to turn human, he stopped and walked over to the other fridge nearby and opened it, to check if there was any food inside. Hopefully they had some fish inside but no luck. Ah man, he was hungry as hell, so why was there no food on here. Upset, Shiro slowly shifted into his human form and put the clothes on, as he made his way toward the common room once he heard the announcement.

Ellie
Ellie was laying in her bed within a nest of pillows and blankets sleeping quite peacefully in her animal form. Then the hammering noise started to echo through the walls, she grown and hid her face under a pillow. ‘Who keeps banging on the walls?! It s so annoying!' she thought as she whimpered placing her paws over her ears as she tried to cover up the noise.

Soon the hammering noise had stoped and Ellie happily sighed as she curled back into a ball under her blankets. She was only able to close her eyes for a few seconds when Ryan came up on the intercom. That was her cue to get out of bed because she did not want to find out what the humans would do if she decided to ignore them. Crawling out from her bed she stretched and yawn before turning into her human form.

With another stretch and yawn, Ellie walked over to her closet to get something to wear, as humans were not allowed to walk around naked. Picking out a dress and some flats she quickly got dressed and walked over to her window. She opened up the blinds and smiled letting in the sunlight for her plants. Walking over to her desk she grabbed a messenger bag and stuffed it with snacks and two books.

Walking out of her room she closed the door behind her and walked down the hall. She quietly made her way over to the common room and sat down on the edge side of the couch. Opening her book she read while the others made their way to the common room.

Layla
Layla had already been up and moving around when they were being called into the common room. There was a large smile on her face at the thought of food. She hoped there would be fish! She loved fish!! She skipped towards her door an din the process her feet got tangled up and she feel. There was a loud thump that was heard followed by a "I'm ok!" Layla shuffled around before finally grabbing something to help her get up. She wiped off her skirt and fixed the sweater she was wearing (of course it was one of the ones Ryan gave her) before opening the door. :I;m ready for fooooood!!!" She sang out. Layla immediately slid to a stop at the site of all the predators in the room. She knew they were going to hurt her (yet) but she couldn't help her instinct. Layla shuffled over towards the couch before taking a seat.

Coco & Leo
Coco and Leo had just returned from their morning run. You would think that since Leo was a predator that the two wouldn't want to be near each other but Leo didn't care for such an easy target and Coco wasn't scared of him. When they entered the building they immediately split. Leo was solitary and only enjoyed the company while running. They quickly showered before joining everyone else in the common room. Coco sat near Layla, making sure to stay out of the way of Yali, for he was one of her natural predators and she didn't want to deal with that. Leo on the other hand had no care about the so called king of the jungle. "Oh quit it Yali. Of course they are going to feed us. If you're so hungry you should have had something earlier." Leo crossed his arms and leaned up against the wall.

Remi
Mentions - Ch3rryBlossom28 Ch3rryBlossom28

Remi had spent another night fully awake with his eyes glued to the tv. Ever since he had been forcibly given human form he had grown attached to shows such as Americas's Next Top Model where he enjoyed the heavy critiques that they received. The ungodly noise of a hammer broke him from his trance and led to his ears folding over in a weak attempt to block out the noise. He emerged from his den and into the room where everyone else had gathered to eat and spotted Coco and Layla keeping more towards themselves. As he adjusted his position, Remi leapt from his spot to the couch where they were, 'Ahhhh I'm already too tired for all of this. The screeching already ruined my morning.' Remi let his head fall into Layla's lap and enjoyed the cool air that always seemed to come from her. 'Without you and Shiro, I would surely melt into an ugly puddle of fur and fashion. Truly a girl after my own heart Layla.' The usual joking of Remi was in full swing once again.

Arriving at the entrance to the common room, it occured to Vitra that she hadn't really taken much notice of the other inhabitants of the premises before, and was starting to perhaps wish she had. From somewhere close by she could smell the scent of cat--large cats, not the typical tiger or leopard scents she was more familar with, but most certainly not those of the smaller jungle cats. Bear too, and canine, yet still somehow different to the scents she remembered from living in the wild, save for the fainter scent of domestic dog that she was able to identify.

Still, all enemies.

Vitra felt the longer hair at the back of her neck begin to rise; perhaps this had all been a trap, some cruel human game to lure her into a place and pit her against all her most dangerous competitors, just for spite. In the wild she feared no tiger, no bear, as long as she had her clanmates at her side. Fighting all of them, alone, was an entirely different matter.

And yet, breathing more deeply in an attempt to control her creeping urge to transform into dhole form, there were also some scents that were definitely those of prey--some kind of horse?--and rabbit, emnating strongly from a seated young woman and a man with his head in the lap of another young woman, who smelled slightly like fish. There was something deeply unsettling about the scent of a creature Vitra would ordinarily give chase to coming from a humanlike form. Still, if the prey was still here despite all other predator scents...perhaps it was safe?

Swallowing her fear and smoothing down her hair, Vitra finally entered the common room with what she hoped was a confident stride, and sat down resolutely on a plastic chair, gazing around the room with an air of assertiveness.

Percy
One thing you’ll learn fast is that Percy is too energetic for his own good.

This entire time, the tiny metal-head has been remarkably antsy about how fresh this place still felt. All night and day, he’d been seeking all the nooks and crannies of the outside and in, probing every floor to see if they were suitable for sliding whilst too distracted to converse with the other housemates.
Initially, Percy just went back to his room to get a snack, but when the neon lights and familiar, ocean smelling candles welcomed him, he found his exhaustion had taken over. The hammering had been no issue—in fact, he’d been rejoicing in the lack of silence. Penguins were so noisy back at home, and the hammering made the little guy feel so much more secure that, an hour ago, he had just fallen asleep for the first time in these last 26 hours. Ahhh, what splendid dreams too! His penguin parents had set up a human-styled rave to welcome him back, and he got to introduce them to everything he learned! Heck, the party ended up being so big he turned penguin and kicked off his blankets during in his sleep.
When the sounds of hammering trailed off and there was a much louder human sound, the little spotted penguin honked and busted from underneath the scratchy sheets, landing beak first into his (thankfully) fluffy carpet. However, the beak pain slowed when he took in what the speakers had said, and Percy didn’t have the kind of pessimism to hold back the giddy grin that wrapped his face like a ribboned christmas present. “Magical adventure!?” He squealed with glee the second his human vocal chords returned, and it wouldn’t be surprising if that alone woke up a few people itself.

The stark contrast between how calmly everyone besides Percy entered was soon to be made noticeable when the bundle of joy himself bursted through shortly after Virtra did. Before his grand entrance, echoed pit-pats of the hallway floor quickly turned into desperate shrieks and a blur of black and white passed through the room like a high-speed car. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!“ It was almost comical, to see the penguin try to stop the momentum he started by running. Gliding across like he had an invisible skateboard, the wall embraced him like a fly to a flyswatter. “Agg!“ He fell butt first onto the ground, massaging his head in pain with his flipper as he looked around. Like earlier, the pain seemed to ease when he discovered company. “AH! It’s you guys!” Using his slipperiness to slide around instead of readjusting, he quickly faced toward everyone, criss-cross on the ground. Might I add casually too, like he didn’t just enter in like an overly extravagant missile. He put his arms up like a proud penguin with their flippers. “Hehahaha, I felt like a cannon ball just there! You all should try that sometime! How are you peeps doing?!” Percy exclaimed far too happily for someone who just got their face crushed in like a pug for a second there.

Nyx
Dang it! Nyx could nearly scream in frustration, but it wouldn’t be a good accent on the hammering that was along on the first floor. These humans suck! If Nyx hadn’t already donated enough hate toward those noisy creatures already, she’d far surpassed the level of generous by now. It all started when she was woken up rudely, and not realizing she’d fallen asleep working on a project, all the previously organized metal bits and pieces got everywhere right when the loud sounds decided to start assaulting her ear cavities. “Arghhh! Of course! Those nasty, furless apes don’t know how to shut up, do they?!”
The nocturnal girl angrily began plotting how to achieve revenge for this crime on the princess’ beauty sleep. Eventually settling that it was too noisy for her to even think, she fussily garnered the pair of earmuffs that were specially made for ears like hers and spent most the morning munching on grapes and cleaning up the mess.
Little to say, after trying her damned best to ignore the loud hammering, the far too jolly voice in the speaker made her more frustrated.

Muttering to herself, Nyx slammed open and slammed shut her door as she passed, ready to seriously make a living hell out of someone’s day. Of course, while looking pretty doing it that is, Nyx admittingly taking longer than she should’ve to look nice for the event. “Inconsiderate, two legged little bales of..!” A rough graze of a shoulder meeting her’s interrupted her long tirade of insults, merely getting a glance to see it was Percy before he zoomed right at the corner. “Ah—ey! Watch where you’re going, ya flightless bird! Hallway’s not for runnin’!” … No response.
Doubting it was heard, Nyx grimaced. “.. Great, I really hope the ‘magical journey’ doesn’t incorporate this bundle of idiots..” Luckily, she grabbed a few provisions ahead of time if that were the case. No surprise to Nyx, a crash sounded out a little ahead of her as she reassuredly felt through the items in her pockets. Here’s hoping that Ryan doesn’t have those touchy body searches like her old scientists did.. Swallowing in her pride, she attempted to enter the room as gracefully as she could’ve. “What the hell is with humans and loud sounds?!” She broke her gracefulness immediately. Nice going, Nyx.

Azrael
Ah… Darn it. Why did it always have to be where she had just gone to bed?
Azrael yawned through her beak, wiping her eyes of the sunlight that was seeping through her little hole inside the tree.
Magical journey and lunch, ey? She’d rather not, but she didn’t want to be detained for disobeying like her old zookeepers did either. She rustled up her feathers and felt disappointed she wouldn’t have the day alone, luckily though, she wasn't in such a bad mood today as she was normally. Ahh, she was sore.. But last night was pleasant. After being in the same house of that rabbit-man these last few days, she’d been very close to getting out of her shell and doing things she knew would get her sent to either a prison or a more secure correction facility. And finally, with great relief, she got to blow off some of her hunting steam. Fluffing up her feathers she looked around herself, admiring what fruits the night of hunting field mice bore. Splendid. Bubo hadn’t gotten stuffed off of good food in a long while, and now she didn’t have to worry about another disgusting frozen rat in her system at least for a couple more days… Though, that lunch ordeal is going to get difficult to get by with grace considering she would burst if she had anything else in her stomach right now. Maybe she could pocket whatever he’s got for later with no one noticing. Especially the other predators here..

Azrael, now human, slid up her snow white hood to conceal her fluffed up hair, quietly walking down the halls without as much a peep. Thankfully, Bubo left her clothes to hang off a nearby branch in advance, so she didn’t have to travel to her room. Unthankfully, there was a slight pinkish tone to her mouth. Much to her sleeve’s efforts, Bubo wasn’t able to fully get it off the mouse blood on her face. Oh well, it’s most likely only the predators will notice by the smell, and it’s not like steak isn’t the out of the norm here, so she’ll stick to that excuse..
Nobody has to know of her compulsive habits..

CRASH. BANG.
Ow! Really?! Bubo covered up her overly sensitive ears. Her little cubby hole had spared her from loudness this morning, so she was definitely not prepared for her owl senses to be assaulted with what sounded like someone being slammed into a wall. Was this karma catching up to her? She bit her lip at Nyx’s half as loud yelling (“What the hell is with humans and loud sounds?!” ) and looked around the hallway... Azrael inwardly cursed herself for forgetting how annoying everyone here was, and now she was wondering if it would be better to wait a little bit before appearing..
Azrael spun on her heel and turned with a sigh. It’s not like she was that memorable, anyways. Perhaps she could get away with hiding behind the hallway corner and listening in until they start to notice she’s missing.. If they didn't notice her already, that is.

No sooner had Vitra sat down when there was a tremendous pattering of strange footsteps from the hallway she had just left, followed by shrieks. Vitra immediately startled, just in time to see Percy fly into the room and then into the wall.

'WHATTHEF--' Vitra yelped, jumping involuntarily from her seat, still very much on edge after her previous adrenaline rush but minutes ago.

'AH! It’s you guys! Hehahaha, I felt like a cannon ball just there! You all should try that sometime! How are you peeps doing?!'

Having never seen a penguin before--let alone a partly human one--as Percy slid around to face the others, Vitra stood gaping for a couple of seconds, for he was quite the strangest looking person she had ever seen. Then, surprising herself, she began to chuckle, at the sheer absurdity of this sudden, yet seemingly unthreatening new arrival.

'Wha--what the HECK are you?' she spluttered.

Presently, she heard Nyx's voice as she entered the room behind where Vitra had risen from her chair.

~ Everest ~

The snow leopard had since transformed back to her two-legged form huddling up nonchalantly in this tacky room. Everything about this human boy's style was terrible from the posters and streamers, to these ring chang things made of paper, how she wanted to just tear it down the bright colors were too much it was more natural colors then maybe it'd be better. She thought climbing onto the couch ignoring everyone else in the room, ignoring everyone else's antics. Placing her hands on her soft tail bringing it to her face so she could sink her teeth into it comfortably. Growing rather annoyed from how many people were gathering into one room Evie was never really a social creature and cared less about making friends as her species didn't need them. Evie also didn't wish to get in trouble this time around from lashing out. So pouting in the corner until the food was served felt ideal right now for the grumpy kitty.

Ryan

"WELCOME TO THIS PARTY EVERYONE!!!! SO GLAD YOU ALL COULD MAKE IT!!!! Now, remember we're going to be going on a special trip today after lunch if there's something you'd want to see afterward please take that pencil over there! It's the yellow stick and write on a tiny paper where you want to go! Then once you're doen please put the piece of paper in the suggestion box! " Ryan had shouted once the majority of the house were all gathered together for the social event that everyone had no choice on whether or not they were going to attend it if they didn't want to wear a sweater for the rest of the day. Plus how else would they get their lunch today rather than eating in the separate designated lunch halls as normal! They were going to eat properly like a makeshift family where hopefully everyone used their manners that they've been learning. "Now Nero be patient we got a lot of people who are gonna be eating, and Poppy is still making the food! Why not mingle and make some friends with all your housemates!" His words dripped with such a cheery attitude, patting the large reptile's head as he skipped off to mingle with some of the other members

"Oh Vitra I see you've finally met our local Peinguin! He's a really cool friend!" He skipped by the two rustling both their heads with his hands.

Ellie was lost in her book to notice any of the others had made their way to the common room. But Rayn’s loud voice pulled her away from her book. With a small sigh, she placed her spot on the book and placed it down on her lap giving her full attention to the load and very excited human. So they were going to go eat and go somewhere all together. With that, she got up and took a pencil and a little paper, sitting back down. Thinking of where she wanted to go she wrote it down ‘a museum or an aquarium’. Placing the little paper down with the pencil she sat back down on the corner of the couch. Ellie smiled and opened back her book to continue to read until they were all ready to leave.

King

King blinked as he watched the human named Ryan skip off to talk with whoever that was. Did the stupid human really just pat him on the head??? Was the human wanting to do die today?? Because he wasn't in the mood to handle him. So he just growled to himself before deciding to leave. Why would he stay in an area that had too many animals and a human who he wanted to eat. He was just gonna go back to his room and go swimming until food was called. But before he did that, he grabbed the yellow item that was known as a pencil or was it a pen? And wrote *Water Park* on it, mostly because it would be funny if they picked it and he decided to mess with those humans at that location.

Crimson Rose Crimson Rose

Shiro

Shiro was slumped on the floor with his head up as he watched all the animals come inside and start doing whatever they were doing. Of course most of his attention went between the Penguin and Seal human form. You may be wondering why?? Well the answer was because he was hungry and the penguin seemed tasty to him right now and he really wanted to eat it, while the seal??? That one was kinda hard for him, since sure the seal was something that his anime kind ate, but he wasn't hungry enough to want to eat the seal. Nope, he wanted to do something else, but he was too lazy to move. But he growled slowly when the rabbit bounced onto her

Yali

Yali had tuned the cheetah off when he spoke. Why would he do that? Because he didnt wanna listen to some no one speak to him. Not at all, so being the person he was, he went to one of the corner that didn't have some fat stupid cat laying down and sat down there, closing his eyes and just listening to everything else. He was hungry and was really half tempted to attack one of the animals nearby, but there was no way that he was gonna get himself in trouble and have to wear those stupid sweaters.

Layla
Excitement radiated off of Layla the instant the more excitable experiments joined. After all Layla's energy tended to mimic the mood of the room. Personally she enjoyed the excitement for it was much more fun than being gloomy like the predators seem to be, well except for Leo. He seems to be the only one who doesn't mind being around prey animals. And he doesn't want to eat us! Laya jumped when Remi randomly moved from his spot to come perch his head on her lap. As her heart calmed from the sudden movement, her hand reached out to ruffle his hair. "Why good morning to you too Remi." A smile emerged on her lips at the playful bunny. "Are you excited to go out today?" Her body began to wiggle as she got happy at the thought of getting out. Sure it would be weird wondering around in her human form but she needed to get better at this walking thing. She had tried running once, since she wanted to be like Coco, but that ended in an epic fail of her not being able to walk for a bit.

Throughout Ryan talking Layla let Remi be. After all his head in her lap was fairly normal. When it was time to head out she stood back up and walked over to the board that was mentioned. Her eyebrows ruffled for she still hadn't gotten the grasp on using this thing called a pencil. So she just stared at the so called yellow stick note, trying to write FISH with her eyes.
Shadow Alpha Shadow Alpha

Coco
Coco was pretty excited to get off the property again. Even though they had space to run she felt so confined in their compound. After all when she was in the wild she was able to go wherever she wanted with no one's permission. If Coco was in her her animal form you would have seen her ear flick towards Shiro when the bunny hopped up to Layla. Honestly she was surprised the little seal didn't notice the growl for it was all to loud for Coco. Her chocolate eyes narrowed landed on Shiro. Over time Coco had grown fond of the little seal for she was just to cheerful and seemed like a very easy target. She felt the need to protect her. It was why she was currently glaring at the polar bear.

Coco felt Layla shift next to her so when she got up she followed. Her eyes stared at the girl's frustrated face and she couldn't help but release a soft laugh. "Let me guess? Something related to fish?" Layla nodded. Coco picked up the pencil and just wrote fish on it before putting it in the box. "Now lets head out!" Coco fist pumped the air in excitement.
Lazy Taco Lazy Taco

Leo
Leo wanted nothing to do with this outing. He just wanted to lay outside in his animal form, but no. At this point he was almost willing to take the punishment of wearing one of those awful sweaters Ryan likes to make. Sighing the cheetah lazily walked away with everyone else, he didn't even bother to write anything down for afterwords. He just hoped he could go home right after. "Let's just get going. I want to eat. "

Amaya was happy on her spot on the roof, it was warmed from the sun ans the sun warmed her skin. Her black hair flowed around her, her eyes shut, and her limbs were all sprawled out as she slept. Who knew someone so tempermental could be so at peace with life for even a split moment. It seemed like nothing could disturb her peace.

Milo was out cold, but he was in his room. Hopefully Ryan wouldn't wake him for breakfast, because he just wanted to sleep in. The boy doesn't do much, but he just loves his naps and sleep. Breakfast for him normally consists of vegan items. He wore a big hoodie and sweats as usual. He barely wore anything dressy.

Poppy had music going and humming along to the different tunes as she banged pots and pans around. The smell of herbs and spices floated out to the halls. Her yellow shirt dress flowed and drifted as she swayed and twirled. Her hands worked efficiently to make foods for the people they loved. They being her and her brother.
