I have not learned much Russian. Rest in peace my knowledge of other languages

So, what kind of video games would benefit from live action cutscenes?

(I plan on experimenting with that when I go into game design)

Did you know that for a large chunk of the 1980's, a lot of 8 bit PC games came on cassette tape?

    The music as well?

Yes, that too.  I don't remember it being the same for every game, but I may have only owned one or two Ocean titles and at the time didn't really understand the concept of developers.
When you die, would you rather spend eternity in hell or spend the rest of your afterlife as a genie?

Probably a genie. It would suck to be stuck in a lamp but at least I wouldn't be burning forever lol.
Ever notice how a lot of fantasy worlds in fiction are based on the medival period?

i mean would it kill someone to have an enchanted machine gun that shoots infinite bullets & Orcs who use biochemical weapons?!

(sorry for ranting, there was a time when fantasy reflected a contemporary reality, why not write a fantasy world that has all the advancement of our contemporary reality?)

This is in fact relevant to three settings I have built, all of which can be found for use here on RPN.

Grey, This has nothing to do with rpnation, this deals with fiction at large.

In which case all I can think of is Shadowrun, the unfortunately titled Cyberpunk Elves Trilogy, China Mieville's Bas-Lag Cycle (probably the best example, but officially referred to as New Weird or Dungeonpunk for some reason), The Dresden Files, and I know most people would argue for urban fantasy like Laura K. Hamilton's work under this heading, but it seems some don't consider it quite analogous to medieval fantasy if it involves secret supernatural societies of werewolves, vampires, or whathaveyou.  There's a novel and a trilogy more that I cannot recall the names of right now.  And my webnovel would count.
It's marginally more common in RPGs, honestly - stuff like Spelljammer which is fantasy IN SPAACE, and a few things like it, or Shadowrun being the quintessential example. Or Victoriana, which is basically late 1880s Europe with elves and magic and whatnot.  I understand some pretty cool examples in film and literature have been emerging from Africa and Australia in the last five years or so, but I haven't gotten my hands on any yet.
So, many culture honor their ancestors, Is there anyone in your ancesstory who you look to for inspiration?
