Count me in, I like this idea. I'd like to play the normal guy, if able. Regarding your options, former life coming back to haunt them sounds incredibly fun. The idea of Muse B having to pay some sort of price for informing A about angels and the such appeals to me too.

I'm pretty unexperienced with RP, but I really like the sound of this, so count me in! Since you said reserving characters was a thing, I'll ask if I can be 'The Altered', it seems like it has a lot of potential for playing around with. That's 3/4, right? So it seems we're almost there.
