You will be able to find all the in-dept information about the planets (for example, but not limited to: location information) that is needed for and to participate in the IC thread. This has been done as to not put too much information in that thread. I want to keep that thread relatively small on the information part.

Pay attention to the fact that this means that this thread will be updated regularly as the RP progresses.

↪ Location Information

  • 826ea64ae2636c15b6afcd2e2c272dee.jpg

    ?????????
    ↪ Imperial City
The city where the High King and most branches of the royal and high-standing families have their main residence. It is also the place where the High Court and the Inquisition have their headquarters. Furthermore the city is where knights are primarily trained under the eye of the Royal Army before they get dispatched all over Earth according to their talents, skills and standing.

Silvatica has two gates that serve as both an exit and an entrance.
One of the gates is the main gate, it is meant for travelers by land or through a portal. The other gate is the haven gate. This gate is meant for travelers by water or for (supply) shipments. The city cannot directly be accessed by portal magic because of protectional barriers around and in the city. Only certain (important) people and residents can pass the barriers and thus teleport straight into places in the city. Other portal travelers will always teleport in front of the main gates. They - and other travelers - will have to pass the necessary procedure (like a passport control) that is needed to gain entrance into the city. Without passing the procedure - or in the case that you are denied access - you cannot enter the city.

The High Court can be seen as a mix between a parliament and a senate. Together with the King or Queen It has both the legislative and the judiciary powers. It thus can make the law but also act as an actually court in law cases. Members of the High Court are furthermore picked as representative bodies and thus rulers for the different cities. Each city has its own branch of the High Court but the HQ is located in Silvatica.

The Inquisition is part of the High Court but in certain aspects stands indepedant from it. It is the executive power in the governance model of earth. It can be seen as a police force but they also have darker branches in their ranks such as assassins, torturers and spies. They are furthermore responsible for the prisons and thus prisoners on Earth. This means they also perform the punishments. The highest members of the Inquisition can act as judge.

↪ Religion

  • Imago/ˈimäɡō/

And the more they worked together to build that great temple, the more they felt attuned with the Maker, and the more they could felt at peace with all of their fellow man.” Collegium 17:34

IMITATION — Followers of Imago are guided by the teachings of the prophet Enu. Since its inception, Imago has become Earth's largest religion, in part due to most interpretations seeking out converts. Long before today's intergalactic technology, Enu told of the other realms, their guardians, and the Maker that presides over all of them. According to Enu, spoken to through the human realm's guardian, both the guardian and humans were created to be closest in likeness to the Maker. Through the teachings of Enu, Imagists strive to imitate the Maker, therefore coming closer to wholeness of what it means to be human. According to Imago, the royal family, particularly the appointed Great King and his successors, are the closest in image to the Maker.

In Imago, the Maker is just and values balance. The Maker gave humans the resources to live their best, and so they should make the most of what they have for the betterment of their species as a whole. In their holy book, the Nitor, there were many tips given to being able to live a healthy life. The Nitor discusses diet, emphasizes mental health, and promotes several sex positive messages. Rituals, whether they be prayer, sacrifice, or otherwise are only suggestions for a self-care routine by meditating on one's own well-being or making sacrifices and giving to the needy. These can be done as many or as few times a day as needed by the individual. With sacrifices, there is some theme of servility to the Maker, but it is more for the larger theme of Imago to maintain balance and fairness in the human realm.

Above all else, Imago is meant to teach justice and cooperation. Those who more actively try to practice Imago use the Nitor as guidance for how to create peaceful conflict resolutions. Imagists believe that one man's fortune is for the betterment of all mankind, and humans should therefore strive to help each other as much as they can.

The Nitor that the prophet Enu left behind is a hefty text of several hundred pages. As Imago is often passed down between generations and with such a large holy book, there is a lot of room for interpretation within Imago, and several sects have been borne out of it as a result. The most liberal interpretations Imago can believe that it is enough to simply accept that humans are made to be like the Maker and they should try their best to reduce conflict in their lives as a result. Others may question the role of other guardians and their realms, particularly in this present intergalactic age. Others suggest that they should try to live as the Prophet did, rather than trying to imitate the Maker, because the Prophet is a reflection of the most complete form a human can achieve. Some see the Nitor as a book which emphasizes the male role, and therefore supports a patriarchal role. There is no limit to how people may use Imago in their lives.

    Obsequium

Everything the Earth has was given by the Maker. Only when men pay back for this great debt will humanity finally reach salvation.” Immolatio 2:13

SUBMISSION — The Obsequious sect of Imago is an interpretation of Imago emphasizing servility to the Maker. They believe the Maker chose them, in spite of their many faults, to be most like the Maker, and they are therefore greatly indebted to the Maker. This is one of the few interpretations of Imago that discuss discourse and unjust harm as sins to be repented, as interpreted by one of the books within the Nitor, where it describe the chaos and collapse of an ancient planet that defied the Maker's will by giving into conflict.

Obsequiusts have always been one of the more active sects in seeking converts. In recent history, however, it has taken a more hardlined stance in response to current events. The faith of Obsequium believe that the royal family has moved beyond imitating the Maker and now mistake themselves as being on the same level as the Maker, and therefore have been careless with their discourse and the realm's imbalance that comes with it. This has disappointed the Maker and so humans and their guardian been abandoned. In order to bring the Maker back, signaled by a Messiah's visitation, humans need to uproot the discourse in the realm and punish themselves. Dismantling the failed royal family and letting corruption take place is the most pure form of this. Some believe true devotees will be pious enough to not be purged in the corruption, but if not, they do not mind the sacrifice needed for the Maker.

Obsequium has been a growing sect in Imago, largely due to its rabid actions to convert heretics, and has been a driving force behind much of the Earth's current affairs.

↪ Corruption

ℍ?????
For humans corruption takes different forms, as it does for animals.
So far only heirs have been unaffected by shadow rot and corruption in general. The cause is unknown.
• It can cause simple sickness, like the shadow rot, and will mostly result in a painful death. Shadow rot is highly contagious and no cure has been found. The sickness can be identified by the veins of the victim. Shadow rot victims will have some form of unnatural glowing blue veins. The glowing blue will spread through the veins and intensify eventually. In the beginning phases it could be hard to identify. Eventually the victim will die in an explosion of dust.

• It can cause mutation and insanity of the body and brain. Not necessarily seen as zombies (not undead) but the affected human becomes an uncontrollable monstrosity. The longer the person is affected the sooner humanity is lost completely. The human will turn into a rabid shadowy beast. In some cases the addition of unexplainable powers have been witnessed. All victims will gain a shadowy appearance. Nobody knows what exactly happens in the brain of affected individuals, some affected retain the ability to talk but the reasoning behind their actions is unexplained. It is like their goal is simply to destroy everything. [Plot-related reason: not a natural occurrence]

ℕ?????
For nature in general the symptoms are of a more understandable nature.
• It can cause rapid changes in weather: from hot to below freezing in a matter of minutes or heavy rainfalls, tornados and other weather manipulation.
• Death and decay of nature itself like the soil in itself but also for forests and water sources.
