Realistic or Modern It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood (Family RP)

I just really don’t want people to feel pressured into starting right away if they don’t want to and I still have to set up the in character thread

I'm not going to be able to finish my CS tonight, which is why I'm posting the skeletons now. It's nearly 11pm here and I have work during the day tomorrow.

I'll probably just post an introduction post here, and then copy-and-paste it over to the IC when it's created. I'm just really anxious to write from the view of a cat I guess.

I think we need the family called the Jones, that are really prissy and stuck up, often times complaining about the other families and stuff like that.

That sounds perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD they should probably have one kid thats around their preteens. Also if you make that family an option is it potential i can claim the mom for that family as well? I'm feeling like making her a more adult Brooke 2.0

(This is for the IC when it's posted. It's an introduction post for Cattus-Fattus. Constructive criticism welcome.)

I felt the rosy-pink light of dawn hit my face. It woke me almost instantly. I'd been situating my bed towards the sun so that I woke whenever the sun rose. It had been working so far.

I slowly opened my right eye, as usual, and then my left, as usual. I groggily lifted my face and slowly began to get up. I attempted to stand, but I fell quickly. Enveloped in the warmth and softness of the bed, I decided for a split-second to go back to sleep. It was not long before I rebuked myself. I tried to get up again, and this time it worked. I meowed a meow of victory, and hopped off my bed, landing on my 4 legs. I promptly stretched them before trying to make movements again. I shook my coat in order to get off any dirt or insects. It was one of the few things that wretched dog, Cupcake, did that was even slightly, partially good. I had actually adopted it myself. It was fun and effective. I can't remember last when I was sick!

I began moving out of the living room towards the Dining Room. In the Dining Room were some doors that could easily be slid open. They led to the porch and the back-yard. That was the reason I woke up this early. So that I could sneak outside and do some exploring before the Kyeongs woke up. I loved, loved, loved exploring. It was something that held a very special place in my heart.

I found the Dining Room doors and slid them open. I slid them back once I was outside. I decided to survey the porch for a little while before jumping off into the back-yard. The back-yard was big and cool. And yummy. The Kyeongs grow some vegetables in the back and they are de-licious! Especially the tomatoes. There's even a sign that says, "Help yourself!" (Though I've been told by that canine brat that it actually says, "Stay Away!" and "Do NOT eat or steal!" But it says that in Human, which I can't read, so he's obviously lying.)

I made my way to the grape patch. I was going to fill up on some, then survey the back-yard. On my way I passed by a few new-looking anthills and the flowers I mistakenly ate looked like they were growing back, so I was anxious to eat my fill, then go back and look.

I got my claws out and sliced a few grapes from the vine. I especially loved grapes, because of their awesome taste. Plus, they were bite-sized! They were undeniably my second-most favorite vegetable. I was about to head back when I noticed an askew picket. I decided to go and explore it, like I do for everything.

"Hmm..." I meowed, "This looks weird..."

I poked it. And, to my surprise, it moved! They usually never moved...

I poked it again. And again. It was like a sliding door of sorts. I saw something behind the picket.

I poked it really hard and it flew away from me. I sprinted through the opening. The picket, while falling back, missed me by a hair. I meowed a sigh of relief. Then I purred a purr of happiness. I had just encountered an entire new world to explore! There were an awful lot of trees here. I had heard of such places back in Harlemeow, they were called "forests." They were places where trees gathered, probably to party. I had never been in one. I was absolutely aching to explore it. I'd definitely need the entire day to wander. Heck, I could even hear running water! It was probably a "river!" I hadn't been near those either!

I hoped the Kyeongs would understand, especially Nami. I just had to check this out! Though, more than that, I hoped they didn't notice me gone...
