Rika spotted William arriving at the very peculiar scene that was her laying underneath cardboard-Shiro; she yanked her arm out from the albino, waving awkwardly at her boyfriend. She felt kinda bad; as every timeline passed, she could almost feel them getting more and more distant. This was one of the consequences of the timeloop, and in a way, the poison she had given herself. She wondered how William managed to keep a cheerful demeanor; in a way, Rika admired it, wishing that she could be like that. With this ridiculousness seemed to come a more mature attitude towards this sort of thing, and, if anything, an aura of hopelessness. After all, in three days, the world would just spin on, never realizing all that was lost. Some would remember, but most would forget. And that was what depressed Rika; all of this would be gone soon. The good, the bad, everything in between, would vanish. What would she pay for redemption of some sort? The answer was, of course, anything. And that one word--anything--had so many meanings nowadays. Life no longer was the happy thing she thought it was; it was a temporary thing, and when she died, who knew what would happen?
There was that word again--anything. It presented possibilities beyond her imagination, and it confused her so. What would happen after this timeline? The answer was anything. Who and what would punish her for starting this up in the first place? It was a sad thing to be thinking of, but it was something worthy of considering.
Then came the person that she called "unpredictable"; Samson Hearth, who she had labeled as "possible threat" and "avoid at all costs". Pinned under Shiro, she couldn't possibly escape him. Sighing, she listened to him talking, her purple eyes slowly narrowing in suspicion. Last time she had checked, she and Samson had never quite been what you'd call "buddy-buddy". So why was he talking about a, quote unquote, "beautiful relationship"?
What was he up to?
"Bullshit." And there it came, her much deeper voice, AKA the "I-Mean-Business" voice. Rika stared at him, seemingly in a possessed way, cocking her head. "You do not even know the beginning of my problems, Samson Hearth. And you say you can fix them? Nice try, but my problem has a mind of her own. What she does in this timeline is out of my control." There was a pause; she rested her hand on her cheek. "Please leave. Don't waste my time."
