Chapter 2: Of Protagonists and Plot Devices

THE PERSONIFICATION OF DEATH AND THE CHILD
Lily whipped around when she felt the presence of a fourth person in William's room; someone who was likely not allowed to be there. The lifted her scythe, automatically pointing it at the man's neck; Rika had her fists clenched around her hammer, which she had pulled out the second she recognized the strange man from the meeting two years ago. Both females kept their weapons aimed at Samson. Neither of them spoke, they just stared at him, preparing to strike if needed. Then finally, Lily broke the silence.

"How'd your honeymoon with Lucifer go, shitbag?" she boldly asked, keeping her scythe against his neck. "You touch third base or did he gain the common sense to dump you before things got serious?"

Rika winced at Lily's rather blunt insult; just a second ago, she'd been calm, composed, and instructing William on how to keep this loop from ending in disaster. Now her eyes were alight with rage towards the man who had daringly summoned Lucifer. Oh, yeah, Lily had a bone to pick with that guy for pretty much dumping the responsibilities of making sure that Hell itself was running properly. She hadn't been promoted for nothing.

  • "THAT DUMB 5'2 ELECTRICITY-FEITSH ASSHOLE!"

Vendetta stomped into the Alpha graveyard, face red and cat tail swishing angrily behind her. All around her skin, various black and red marks could be seen on her arms, face, and legs. She couldn't believe this shit. She just COULDN'T! A few hours ago, she had finally found the little goody goody harp leader's brother walking out of a damn arcade around the Alpha sector. She had heard from sources that they've seen the guy associating with some type of 'Little mouse dude', and after she killed them all for not knowing WHERE they were meeting, she just decided to find the little shit. Of course, Bern was just doing her own thing as always, and because the little soul-stealing S.O.B was such a stewart-hogger, she had to find the Saedor all on her own.

And boy, did it feel good seeing that dork on the street...for a few moments. She had did her normal routine when wanting information. Act all friendly at first, bump into him, let her cleavage (Which was in a tight school girl's outfit) rub against his arm, EVERYTHING! But the guy was even worse than his brother. Stuttering, blushing like some school girl, and even trying to hastily walk away. And finally, she just got tired and went to grab at his neck...which resulted in some sort of blue blast in her stomach.

Which launched her into a fuse box...you can already see how that worked out.

Having to go through the usual complicated process of entering the Devicto headquarters, she roamed around the ruins, searching for wherever Bern could be.
"I'm done with this. I am SO fucking done with this. She can write me a whole god damn book on the wimpy older one, but doesn't tell the wimpy little one has god damn powers?! When I see, I swear, I'll shove a katnip gernade right down her thro-"

Passing Stewart's room, she stopped and blinked. She slowly backed up and peeked inside, seeing the demon in a salt circle. Stewart. That guy was supposedly a demon, but he looked more like a kid with schizophrenia and some chalk modification. Still, if Satan was in Hell City now, anything was possible. She rolled her eyes and was prepared to leave, but growled when her feet wouldn't let her. With a sigh, she made her way into the room and crossed her arms with a glare. "Alright, kid. What didja do this time to piss her off?"

Kimiko (Side character/Plot device)(Masakazu's Advisor)(With: No-one)
Kimiko’s inscribed with the markings of desolation, even for having artificial eyes, they held a deep painful sorrow within them. She didn’t know if she was blessed having all these ludicrous emotions, in a sense it did make her feel as if she was truly among the living and in touch with her fellow human counterparts but was it worth having to deal with all these painful experiences? Especially having to look into the eyes of someone you onced love and pretend that everything that had transpired was just imaginary? Feeling like you're worthless because you have to wrap an invisible leash around a mad-man’s throat to stop him from tearing this city apart?! She couldn’t believe that she took part in being with a criminal organization just because she was so naive, wanting to be a part of any group in order to have a sense of humanity. To not be casted out because of how she had been brought up into this cold world, Kimiko aspired that she could walk among ordinary humans and not be judged for it, but she didn’t expect it to be like this. Hearing his soft-spoken voice speak yet again felt like needles sticking into her skin and poking against her throbbing heart. These feelings kept coming back but she couldn’t let them take over, both of them had their own lives and they needed to resolve this Masakazu issue before he becomes an unmanageable liability to herself and the residents of Hell City.

“I’m sorry. What I said earlier was completely uncalled for. I’m just happy that you’ve found someone that has the same respect for you as I do, she’s so fortunate to have you. Thank you, i’m lucky that this forsaken place hasn’t corrupted you Shisha, you were always pure at heart.” She replied in a shaky voice, recuperating from the whirlpool of emotions that struck her like lightning. Kimiko’s beaming smile soon replaced the visible grimace as she looked at him again, he absolutely radiated confidence, each phrase that came out of his mouth were far from being empty words as each one had feeling behind it. “Of course, I doubt he’ll hurt me. But i’ll let you know Shisha if he loses control again but please try to be careful, okay? I’ve lost so many people in my life, the last thing I want to lose is you. Masakazu is someone you shouldn’t underestimate and that’s saying a lot knowing how capable you are when it comes to taking care of someone.” Kimiko prepared herself for another goodbye as she watched him leave, his masculine figure eventually disappearing as he pushed through the front entrance. “Take care.” She whispered, still having a hint of sorrow that pushed through her breathe as she exhaled.

Masakazu W. Fuma (Location: Rainy Traveller general store)(Currently: "Grocery Shopping.")
Masakazu flickered his arms, wrists and all from side to side joyfully as he strided his feet in a flamboyant fashion, almost mimicking a small dance in his step with every strut leaving a trail of apprehensive floating about in the air, both pupils gradually widening with each slow second passing-by as he discovered walking up a stairwell that led him straight to Masakazu. Bismarck’s involuntary smiled had now changed into a very real sight to behold, fear and Masakazu could smell its fragrance pushing its way out of his demeanor no matter how hard he tried to hide it by placing a book near his face. His skin-complexion had turned pale for some time, was it the fear? Bismarck looked as if he had witnessed a murder right in front of him before it even happened. Masakazu was internally basking in the delight of this notion of terror being felt around in him, it was as if he were a kid again! And this whole general store was his own candy shop! “Eeeh? What’s wrong Bismarckuuu? You look like you just saw a ghost! Take you? How perceptive of you but think of it just as a friendly blind-date, except i’m your driver! How exciting! Ohohoh and let me tell you something, this date of yours is quite the uh ‘Killer!’" Mr.Fuma’s hysterical chuckle elevated itself as he repeated the joke once more inside of his head, but his laughter and ‘family reunion’ was abruptly stalled by Bismarck’s lovely wife and a very unfamiliar face, perhaps this was a relative of his wife as he never had any former contact with this person. Masakazu sluggishly brought his head down and shook it at the spectacle he had observed before him, not only did he have a unwanted company but they were threatening poor ol’ Kazu with their scary toys, Maria was very impressive, a bit more-so than her husband.

She weld that sharpened blade like a true-champ! Too bad it was going to wind up hurting her a lot more than him if she decided to use it. “Ooh did she just say husband? You sly dog you! Bismarck, you never told me that you had such a beautiful wife and a catty one at that. But that girl beside her? Well, i’m not sure who she is but she can play along too! I’m sorry to say this Bismarcky but you should really learn how to treat your customers. I come here, throwing myself into all of your arms and you treat me like a stray dog pissing on your welcome mat, for shame.” Even though he made an unwelcome visit, he was pretty enraged that a few of Bismarck’s companions had already drawn their weapons on him, without even taking the time or consideration to negotiate things peacefully. Masakazu approached Maria despite her having a sword drawn up to him, he stopped a few inches away from the blades point as he looked at her with his average look that resembled a thousand yard stare before he situated his index inger underneath the blade and pushed it up to the middle of his forehead. “Thought i’d help you out by getting your blade closer to my face, trust me.. You do not want to miss.” Masakazu was definitely enjoying the thick tension that was brewing, it was like a dramatic soap-opera but 100x more likely to result in someone’s death, but something immediately caught his attention when he heard an unorthodox sound. His ears perked as he listened, silence filled the room until a terrifying smile was stretched across his face that personified that of even a demon. “Oh, my.. Bismarck, you didn’t tell me you had kids.. Mind if Uncle Kazzy reads them a bedtime story before you tuck them into bed? Ha, gotta love kids. So innocent, so fragile. Now, i’d like to make you an offer that nobody can deny well unless they’re a glutton for punishment that is! I’m not gonna hold anything back from you Saedor but this whole building is surrounded by my men, all of them itching to gut anything that harms a little hair on my head. You know what will happen if you don’t come right? I see it in your eyes and it will happen but I guarantee the safety of everyone here if you just come with me peacefully, whatcha say Bismarkuuu?” The atmosphere darkened, his mentioning of the two children must've been horrifying to hear. Everyone in that building was in peril if a decision wasn’t made and fast.

Samson Hearth
Vergil-vergil-32944334-429-440.jpg
Samson rolled his eyes at the two woman, amused by their reactions. He gave Rika a snarky, questioning look."Really? A hammer?" He said raising an eyebrow, and crossing his arms. He shook his head in disappointment," if this is the best you can do I'm surprised you're alive. Oh no! Don't strike me down with your hammer mighty Thor!" He mocked raising his hands in false fear. Then he disappeared in a flash of blue flames, only to reapear sitting down comfortably, his legs crossed.

He pointed a finger at Lily accusingly,"You sure have a funny way of showing hospitality to your guest. Although I suppose I did show up unannounced..Still I usually do." He moved his hand to the katana resting by his side, then titled his head as if he were bored. "Ahh, how amusing. I don't know if you realize this, but I'm not human. I could shake up with Lucifer all I wanted, and you wouldn't know what to call it. Because technically I have no gender."

Samson patted his face slightly," this is just a casing for me. But unfortunately no, me and the Devil didn't tango. What a shame, I bet I could have learned so many interesting things from that." Samson looked at Lily, a smug smirk now gracing his lips."But I find it funny, you talk about me filling around in the sheets as if it would affect me somehow. Why is that? What indication have i given you that this would bother me? Are you taking a shot in the dark, or maybe it has something to do with your relationship...Hnmm what do they call it again?"Samson tapped his chin for a moment, before raising a finger in a moment of revelation."Ah yes! Girl love that's it!"Samson said still smirking clearly proud he had remembered such a trivial thing."So miss reaper, tell me, what do you know about the time disruptions? Or maybe I should ask your lover?" Samson said his eyes narrowing dangerously as he observed Lily

THE LETTERMAN AND THE HERMIT
Bismarck looked up suddenly to see Maria and Elizabeth immediately by his side, their weapons drawn and pointed at Masakazu; his cheeks flushed slightly, and the Letterman tried not to tear up. He had to stay strong like the person that he wanted to be, and the person that strangers thought the Letterman was. So he drew out his dagger, pointing it at the intimidating man who was dangerously close to him. His hand was shaking, but his look didn't match the shaking hand. He was absolutely determined to keep his freedom for one more day, because he had too much to take care of. Something inside him told him that if he surrendered, he was susceptible to a future in which he didn't survive and had to watch as a ghost as the city he hated fell apart.

Yes, Bismarck really did hate the city for the many terrible people in it, but there were some good people that he'd met. Never being able to see them again was a terrifying thought, but it reminded him that in this moment, he had to make like his astrological sign and be stubborn as a bull. Just this once, he felt the need to fight back. He trembled as the man continued to talk, this time about Nikolas and Phineas; no, he didn't just tremble, he practically vibrated with fear. He looked helplessly behind him; at Chuck, at Miss Elizabeth, at Maria...

He had to give himself up.

Then there came a ding from Masakazu's phone.

A text from Bernkastel.

Come to think of it, can you retrieve his brother too? I feel the need to research the origins of those powers that seem to have appeared overnight.

Bismarck couldn't read the text, but his intuition, frustrated with his indecisiveness, took over; Bismarck automatically snatched a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and what should materialize...but a dragon. The thing that took up the most energy to summon but was totally worth it. Right outside where the men were waiting.

"....Patronus....three steaks for every two thugs you take down. Minus one steak for each innocent you kill."

That caught the dragon's attention; she angrily began attacking at Kazu's men. Outside the conveniently fireproof windows, the dragon was starting many fires and doing her best to kill as many of those men as possible. Bismarck looked back at the man, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose as he spoke, a new glint in his brown eyes, along with newly-found exhaustion from the major summon. Gosh frigging darn it. Maybe talking would do the job after summoning a big scary dragon...?

"Please get out. We don't welcome kidnappers here."

Masakazu W. Fuma (Location: Rainy Traveller general store)(Currently: "Starting a fire-fight!")
Oxygen felt as if it were sulfur as the resolution awaited to be concluded, Masakazu quietly strayed away from Maria’s keen-edged blade without any comment but to close-in his distance between Bismarck and himself, a dazzling smile revealing his pearly-whites still amidst his self-important face that screamed ‘whackjob’. Didn’t take too long for the Tora Syndicate leader to become impatient with this indecisiveness, nonetheless he had an obligation to fulfill and failure wasn’t an option, especially for him. Oh, how he yearned for the right set of circumstances so he could decorate the store front walkway with all of their putrid innards, but yes! Even for a man of little standards, Masakazu held one thing dear to his intolerable black heart and that was the enchanting voice of a deplorable woman, a woman named Bernkastel, oh how he would love to see the brightness in that she-devil’s eyes when he hands her that tied-up present. Masakazu’s complexion tinted with a light shade of red, imagining her praising him for a job well done. Suggestive ideas cluttered his mind as he envision his figure and the things that both of them would do, well… That was until his concentration was broken by the shiny extremity of Bismarck’s dirk being directed at his midsection, at this point Mr.Fuma was completely flabbergasted at this spectacle, not just because he had just been threatened again but that namby-pamby feeble excuse for a person stood up to him, challenging his authoritative tone unlike those that simply heed to his commands. Masakazu’s face almost instantaneously changed into a blank state but inciting a serious demeanor as his brow furrowed heavily. This peep-squeak couldn’t even clutch the hilt of his dagger properly let alone be intimidating with it, insulting.

At this point, there was a terrible bloodlust soaking through his face and a unquenchable desire for calamity behind his eyes as he slithered his right hand into the interior of his designer jacket without a sound until he reached for something, this wasn’t going to bode well but it was taken as a surprise once his hand gradually revealed itself but his digits wrapped around a tablet that begun to vibrate before sending out an unsuspecting ‘ding’ noise. “So, Bismarck. I’d hate to say it, but you’re a terrible host. You can’t even appeal to your guest by rationally dealing with things, in-fact I think you’re more of a threat to your own family than me. Think about it, think about who you’re drawing a mere knife on and ask yourself if you can accept what will happen if you attack me.” He uttered, flipping his thumb around on the screen of the touchpad and not paying any attention to the individuals around him. Speak of the devil, she had sent him a text that made him blush. Bernkastel, oh you! She even added little emojis at the end of her message that made him briefly chuckle. But more importantly it was an update involving a brother of the man he was supposedly kidnapping, a bonus prize. Surprisingly, Bismarck must’ve figured this out as he fetched a book almost instinctively, moments later a fire-breathing dragon like ones from fairy-tales made a deafening roar from outside of the building and began charring his men indiscriminately. Masakazu wasn’t too delighted to hear such a noise but was more preoccupied with putting his fingers to the phone and sending Bernkastel a message back.

(“Sure thing good-lookin’! Might be later than expected though! Bit of troubles at the office ;) be there shortly! <3:blowkiss:” ~ Kazzy)

Putting his phone away he gave off a cheekish smile to Bern after he spoke. Without warning his hand appeared as fast as lightning, whipping across Bismarck’s dagger-gripped hand and sending the weapon hurling across the room until it plunged itself into the wall. “For every, time you interfere, I will break one of both of your children’s bones. I assure you that i will make that promise a reality, for my men. Have at it, they like a challenge but they’ll be aiming for your legs. But your wife and other friends? Well they’re kind of fucked after that mistake you’ve made. Oh and if you manage to beat all of them up you get to have a go at me, i’d hate to not let you warm-up first!” He said, stepping past him with his hands pushed into his pockets only to shrug his shoulders a bit back and turn over to add one thing before descending down the stairs. “Oh merry meeen!” He loudly announced, suddenly a loud horn blared itself noisly from outside before the windows were shined through by a set of headlights. The armored bus loudly smashed through the side of the building with the front and back door of the bus opening and pouring out with Tora Syndicate goons, weapons drawn and firing at the group.

THE "PEST"
"Vendetta!" A very relieved Stewart sat up from his spot, tempted to hug his one true mistress and Lord and Savior Vendetta, only to get his foot burnt by the salt trapping him. He kept his hands pressed against the invisible wall to his prison, smiling cheekily as always. Every inch of his face pretty much screamed "let me out of this gosh-darn salt circle", but he did listen to her question. His face darkened slightly when he remembered how Bernkastel had treated him after he failed to retrieve one of the Saedor kids, but he brightened up again, looking into the blonde Neko's eyes.

"Me? I kiiiiiinda failed at a job for Bern, whoops," the demon chuckled, adjusting his hoodie. "Soooooo.....I have been banished to the salt circle of power drainage until I am allowed out. But, uh....how have you been?" Stewart brightened up further, grinning at Vendetta. "Did you find and capture the tiny human you go on and on about? Shall I get the machine gun and kill him for you? OOH! OOH!" Stewart's expression grew more eager as he thought of the possibilities, and in his excitement he transformed to his sock form, flopping around the limits of his circle. "If you haven't, I could retrieve the tiny human for you! Unless you want me to retrieve a different human! I can do that too! Just say the word, Mistress!"

Chuck felt his eye twitch as he watched the man, his heart beginning to speed up in anger. His whole demeanor just screamed 'Ego trip', from the way his expression always held that dumb big grin to how he talked. Treating this all as if it were some kind of game and their lives were his pieces. He felt his fingers twitch when he saw the man head for Maria, yet could only growl quietly when he just angled it towards his forehead. That was the thing with Gang Leaders. They always thought they had everything under control, even when he was out-numbered...or at least, that was what Chuck thought. His eyes nearly bulged out of his head when he heard the mention of men completely surrounding the building, but felt himself shake in anger at the mention of his nephews.

This...Bastard.

Chuck's eyes looked to Bismarck, waiting for his brother's choice. It didn't really matter either way, for if Bismarck had to go, they'd have to get through Chuck first. He didn't know if he was prepared for this, and he wasn't exactly sure just if this man was just talking out of his mouth or not, but he wouldn't just give up his family so quickly. This man could think whatever he wanted, but he was the actual dumb one if he'd think he could walk out of here that easily. Chuck felt pride when he saw his brother draw his dagger instead of just walking away quietly. Chuck's head whipped to the man when he heard the response and glared hatefully at him, yet his eyes immediately glued to the tablet. Maybe...if Chuck could get a hold of it...

However, the sound of a roar broke his thoughts. Patronus. Chuck pulled out his guns the moment the man came and pointed at the leader, eyes hardened and fingers ready to pull the trigger. He hadn't killed anyone before...and he was planning to save that for Bern. But he'd gladly pull the trigger if it meant not having to see this man's face anymore. His teeth bared at the threat of the man before he passed, but not before a certain little call that caused a horn to sound. What the-? He jumped as a bus blasted itself inside the store before its doors opened, causing men to pour out and fire at them. Jumping behind the counter, Chuck groaned. This just got harder.

Quickly popping out of the counter, he aimed upward away from the men to the ceiling, shooting at it from above. He heard a couple men laugh at this through the gunfire, but their laughs quickly stopped when they felt water land on their head. Looking up, they saw that the kid had actually shot one of the fire sprinklers, causing a large amount of water to spray on them and the floor. Some gunfire stopped at this due to the confusion, causing Chuck to smile before holstering one of his guns and charging up his hand, his black glove becoming a sparking blue. He held it up toward the water, and for a moment, he could see a look of fear cross some of their faces. His conscience told him not to do it. That some of these people were just doing it to survive. But then again...

"S-So a-am I-I." He whispered to himself before shooting an arc of lightning at the water, causing screams of pain to ring out as some passed out, some just fell to the floor paralyzed, and a few still kept shooting, despite their skin being fried from the voltage. He ducked back down the counter and let out a huge breath, looking toward the stairs. He had to get the kids. With a gulp, he grabbed upholstered the other gun before slowly making his way toward and down the stairs, his training keeping him silent.

THE LETTERMAN
Bismarck's face darkened when Masakazu mentioned breaking Phineas and Nikolas's bones; in fact, the very rare genus of emotion called "anger" decided to show itself to the world. His fists clenched as the man continued to threaten him, but he completely lost it when a whole bus blasted through the wall of his shop. Guns began to fire everywhere; trembling, Bismarck realized that, weapon-wise, he had three options; he could somehow make his way over to the dagger without getting shot, he could go downstairs and grab his revolver, or he could summon another creature. The sound of humans getting electrocuted, however, reminded him once again that he didn't have to fight this battle alone. He smiled gratefully at Chuck, feeling very tempted to hug his little brother, but instead decided to keep the men busy. A smaller summon this time; he set a phoenix (of whom he'd fondly named Dumbledore) on the remainder, then bolted downstairs, once again taking a whiff from his inhaler. It was only a matter of time before they would catch up, and he had to get to his revolver.

He stumbled into the kitchen, past Chuck, towards a small vault; his fingers trembled as he typed in the passcode, revealing their grandpa's favorite revolver. Smiling in relief, he started to go upstairs, but only stopped to address Chuck, if not briefly and very hurriedly.
"Th-Thank you for that, Chuck....I-I really thought we were done for...." he stammered, then paused, realizing something.

"Nik and Phin....w-we need to get them out of here, somewhere safer.....I-I say we call Luce and see if he doesn't mind looking after them or at least coming over for backup. I-I-I know you don't really like him, but...well.....he's still family, if not from another dimension. I...I'll send him a letter.....we'd better work fast--when this all blows over, we can hope that everyone will be safe and--"

BLAM.

A bullet shot through the air, hitting the arm holding the revolver. Bismarck dropped the weapon on instinct and stumbled, nearly falling face-first onto the ground. He clutched his wound, biting his lip, and shook his head. No. He had to keep going, even if unarmed. He headed towards the nursery, determined to reach it. He just had to get the kids to a safe place.

Masakazu W. Fuma (Location: Rainy Traveller general store)(Currently: "Baby Sitting")

Tora numbers inside of the defaced general store were beginning to dwindle, each one succumbing to their demise as Bismarck’s Lydia Harp’s top-ranking members lashed out against them, only a few were considered to be lucky as some of them had faced serious injuries but they weren’t mortal wounds that led to death, but paralyzation instead. Not exactly lucky but it was a fate that was more fortunate than death and they could once again live another day unless Masakazu deems that they weren’t using all of their efforts. That to them was worse than being executed by these Harp lackeys, Masakazu’s ‘interrogation’ tactics were infamous for being inhumane, none have ever made it out of that horrendous chamber alive, only brutalized parts that had been separated from their previous owners. Screams of agony gingerly transitioned into moans of pain afterwards, still wasn’t the last of Tora Syndicate’s soldiers as there were handful still in combat, covering themselves behind makeshift cover and taking pot-shots when needed. “Should’ve got the elite enforcers to have come with me, bah! Serves me right for not taking extra precautions.” Masakazu said, feeling angered by his negligence as he did not prepare for such resistance to come out in full-force but he didn’t completely panic as he always had a trick or two up his sleeve incase of emergencies. Luckily for him he still had the trump card stored away as he had bought some time by using those common rubble as acceptable losses. Banging of shoes colliding with steps were within ear-shot of Masakazu as he kept up the pace, sprinting onward and coming across something quite peculiar but drawing to the eyes. “Nursery?” It was one of the first rooms that he had came across but the pitter-patter of distinctive foot steps came out from it, they were not the size of average adults, probably aware of his presence, oh well. He was always up for a good ol’ game of hide and seek.

“Oh, children! Uncle Kazzy’s home!”
Masakazu roared loudly, stepping back to wind up his leg before driving his foot onto the door causing it to burst off of the hinges and slam onto the unforgiving floor below it. As he walked in, it was surprising to find that there had been no trace of them anywhere. So, they are hiding from him. Alike Bismarck his kids were smart, blessed with his aptitude in adapting quickly to emergencies but as the old saying goes. “You can run, but you can’t hide!” Each step grew louder, as he stomped furious down the to the other end of the room, his lengthy arms widened out to clasp the surgery curtains with his fingers and slide them open. All but one remained, he could feel his teeth caressing his lips with that smile of his. Opening it on the other hand led to the exact same disappointment but then, one of the wheels from the hospital beds made a ‘creaking’ noise. Deadened tranquility brushed over the room and his feet were no longer visible from the children’s eyes. All that had been heard was the door to the infirmary room closing once more and a feeling of relief entering the room as nothing had been heard. “Found you!” Masakazu’s disturbing face revealed itself as he hunched over the bed they were hiding under, their alarming screams made quite the commotion as he found them. Masakazu flipped over the bed with ease after leaping off, using his leg to wing the light-weighted bed to the door’s entrance using it as temporary blockage until he pulled out his pristine carbon-steel tanto from his coat jacket. “Now, let’s play a game that all three of us can enjoy. You see your father was being particularly nasty to me! That’s not nice isn’t it? Well, don’t you two worry because Mr.Kazzy is a nice man he wouldn’t hurt a anyone! Unless that specific person didn’t listen to him and they tried to run away, but they wouldn’t because they’d know Mr.Kazzy would cut their tiny legs off. But, we’re going to wait til’ your father shows up here and we’ll be playing the choices game! Sounds fun doesn’t it?!” Masakazu’s patience was wearing thin, he was on the verge of doing something drastic if Bismarck didn’t relinquish himself up to him, he’d splatter the infirmary walls in the blood if he didn’t get what he wanted.

"Well I'm not entirely convinced YOU grasp the dangers of-...No sir, I was simply-...Yes sir, I understand, but the implications of-...It was not my intent to-...Yes, sir."
-Call Ended-
Daedra sat, eyes closed at a desk in a dimly lit, mostly empty room. Her elbow placed on the top of the desk as her still organic hand went from massaging her temples to pinching the bridge of her nose. After a few moments collecting herself she let out a deep sigh and leaned back in her executive style chair to look at the ceiling, the soft whir of her mask matching the low drone of the fluorescent lights overhead. Staring into nothingness she cleared her mind, she still wasn't totally used to the level of supervision from her superiors this new position brought. It was maddening.
Her relative peace was short lived as soon the mechanical locks of the door clanked open, breaking the sound proofing in the room and letting in the lights and sounds of construction outside the room.
"Commander." An unnamed subordinate intruded. "There are some logistical snags that require your attention." She entered the room and began to place paperwork on Daedra's desk. Daedra looked emptily at her assistant before calming dropping her head to her desktop.
"Is this my punishment?..." she thought, contrasting her free and exciting life former life with her boring, crowded and stressing new role.
"Ma'am?" The underling said noticing her plight.
"It's nothing, Peters. I'm just feeling a little jet lagged is all." Daedra assured trying to play off her dislike for these initial set up procedures. "I'll take care of it. Have the off-loaders get rid of the NoxArma decals on the cargo. We can't let the mistakes of our superiors become our own. You're dismissed."
As the secretary left the room and the door once again locked down, Daedra looked disgruntledly at the stack of paperwork and sighed a final time, pulling a pen from her jacket pocket.
While going through the construction permissions, checking transfer documents and double checking the shipment manifests, she noticed something. If her memory served her right, and it almost always did, she only counted 23 Shrike Drone repair containers as opposed to the 24 in the manifest. Meaning that somewhere along the line 15 tons of drone parts vanished into thin air. Worst still they were all emblazoned with the NoxArma logo, proving to be more dangerous than just arming common criminals with prototype tech.
"Interesting,...this can't possibly end well...", Daedra said to herself take note of the loss. As she completely moved through the stack of papers she found 3 other "shipping errors" and a few discrepancies in expenses.
Having finished the bulk of the paperwork, Daedra rose to her feet suspiciously eyeing her notes and went to leave the room. The automated slowly opened, just enough for her to slide past as it finished opening.
"Peters, check that manifest backwards and forwards for discrepancies with our supply." She ordered her subordinate who had stayed nearby.
"Y-Yes, Ma'am!" the woman acknowledged, hurriedly shuffling back into the room.
"Assign groups of 4 to mount an on base investigation of any you find."
She said making her way to the still packed weapon crates, Daedra set her mask to broadcast her voice over the temporary intercom set up to allow for communication in the enormous underground base being constructed below a security depot front.
"Alright people, we've got at least three missing shipment on our hands and no time to find it so get your asses in gear!"
Finished choosing her arsenal, Daedra started to make her way to an elevator.
"I want loading teams to split into groups of 4 most senior member is team leader. Team leaders connect with Officer Peters she'll designate you an of search." She commanded loading her sidearm and holstering it.
"Fireteams Marro and November, we're going topside."
With her inside, the service elevator door shut and started it's ascent. Daedra switched to a secure channel and waited for her chosen fireteams to begin checking in.
"This is November 1, checking in."
"Marro 4, reporting."
"November 3, live."
After each member confirmed communications Daedra started a very concise briefing to make sure everyone is clear on their objective.
"November, Marro, you are now Red Team. November 1, you are Red 1. Marro 1, you are Red 1 Bravo. I am....Sherlock" The elevator ground to a halt, opening to another locking door that leads to the roof of the fake depot.
"Shrike Drones are not yet deployable...that's where you come in. Discretion is paramount, you will shadow me, stay low and tight unless I give word. It is your namesake. We do not return without confirmation of the shipments destruction or location." The door hissed as it opened for the first time, letting Daedra back out into the world.
In complete honesty her presence wasn't totally necessary as her teams were more than capable on their own. She just needed to get out of there and she figured it was a good excuse to meet the new neighbors.
The premature passing of the city's surveyor only left her the few notes they were able to recover to go off of. There were a few likely districts to check out first, and she figured it'd be pretty simple to make her way around considering no one should be wise to who she was. Regardless, precautions were taken.

Daedra decided to go off of one particularly useful piece of information. The city actually already had a police department, although horribly inefficient and riddled with corruption. There was a very high turn around and she figured disgruntled ex-cops would be easy to manipulate, especially for information. Using the Pyxis Satellite's information gathering capabilities she created a small list of candidates. An Erika Furudo was first on the list; young and possibly impressionable.

Bernkastel checked her phone again to see a new message from Masakazu, loaded with weird emojis and the reassurance that he would capture Chuck Saedor. Yawning, she rested herself on the hammock next to Yozaku, boredly observing as Vendetta walked in, fuming. It was a tiring job, being a manipulative asshole, but totally worth it once she got the results. Just look at where she was right now; practically on her own throne in Hell City. She had considered calling herself some sort of marquis of Hell City, the Grand Duchess of Evil.

Ah, she was so close to coming out on top. And just thinking about showing that to every person that had ever doubted her--of spitting in their faces then rubbing them in the dirt, of practically tearing them apart bit by bit--that brought her the most pleasure. Honestly, who would have thought that a German farmer's daughter would rise to this level? Who would look twice at what she used to be when what she was now was the one on top? This wasn't Wilhelmina Keller, the girl who had set a vineyard on fire and killed her family, anymore. This was Frederika Bernkastel, someone who got what she wanted when she wanted it. This was the true nature of a despicable and heartless woman who would birth an equally nasty--if not worse--child. Damn right they would carry on her legacy after she died, and they would turn her into a legend.

She halted when thinking of what to say to Masakazu, the fool of a man that she'd managed to manipulate with just a few words. She had a feeling that right now the Saedors, those cowards, were fighting for their lives, thinking that they would be able to win that battle.

They were fools if they really believed that.

Finally, she typed out her message, knowing just what to say.

Excellent :3: Just so you know, you'll be able to tell who Chuck Saedor is based on his eyes; they're almost exactly the same shade of brown as Bismarck's. He has black hair. Just thought I ought to give you some hints~ :hornskiss: Now remember not to damage those two too much, they've got some mysteries that I'd like to unlock. Ah, how it will be fun to rip those two apart and figure out all of those wonderful secrets <3 <3 <3

Anita took off her safety goggles, curious, when Don withdrew a piece of paper. It took the girl a moment to realize that they were the marriage registration papers. She had nearly forgotten in the year she was asleep that she was engaged. Her gaze drifted to her hand, where a wedding ring sat on her ring finger. A little dusty from not being awake for a year, but still sweetly shining back at her. The cyborg felt a few tears of happiness prick her blue eyes, and she leapt at Don, hugging him tightly. Okay, maybe a little too tightly, but she let go before she could break any bones.

"I'll get my pen," she answered happily, practically skipping to the living room. "Scanning. Finding pen. Buffering." She stood still, her eyes scanning the room. It was a bit unnerving; her voice had gotten more robotic, and the only thing she said for a good five minutes was; "Buffering. Buffering. Buffering."

Finally, she spotted a pen; walking towards it, she turned back to Anita, who grinned as she lodged it out of the two pillows it was stuck between. "BEEP BOP BOOP BOP BEEP! I FOUND THE FRIGGING PEN!" she called jokingly.

Sierra pouted at Alisa, but she did get off of her anyways, in the meantime standing up and swinging her arms as she rocked back and forth on her heels. The ghosts did seem to have the same idea on what they wanted for breakfast, though, seeing as they said the exact same thing.

"Pancakes!"

"Jinx! You owe me a soda!"

"Do I look like I have soda on me?"

"Yep, you do~!" At this Kathy rolled her eyes, crossing her arms.

"Y'know, one day you'll wake up and find half the building blown up," she grumbled. "Honestly, do you always act like you're twelve?"

That struck a nerve with the redhead, whose face turned the same color as her hair. She tossed a pillow at Kathy, sticking out her tongue. "Better than being a buzzkill know-it-all!"

"You're an idiot!"

"You're a jerk!"

"You smell like garlic!"

"At least I don't smell like weed!"

And so on, as the girls rather violently tossed pillows and insults at each other. Sierra was a little more playful, but the playfulness ended at an insult about her necklace.

That was when she punched Kathy in the face and called her a jerkass murderer. The argument abruptly ended from there.

Erika's interview with EZ was abruptly halted by the sound of a knock at the door; sighing, the young woman stood up, flipping her long hair so it was out of her face. What now? she wondered as she headed over to it, opening the door to see....a fully-armed lady in a gas mask.

What.

The.

Fuck.

Looking behind her at her client, she briefly told him that it would only be a minute, then she looked back at the woman, trying to fathom who the hell she was and what the hell she wanted. Did she anger her? Nah, she hardly had any experiences with ladies in gas masks. Did Emu anger her?

She paused, then decided to ask him just that.

Hey, Emmanuel, have you had any experiences with fully-armed women in gas masks without telling me? Because this one looks awfully threatening.

Then again, it could be someone the client knew, or perhaps someone with a confession to make. Sighing and leaning on the doorway, the girl shoved up her glasses to get a good look at her. For all she knew, this was the new pizza delivery guy (yeah, right). She didn't know what else to do, so she decided to just ask.

"Uhhh......this is Detective Erika Furudo, formerly of the Hell City Police Department. How may I help you, who recommended you, and what's with the threatening soldier chick vibe that I'm getting from you?"

Maria and Elizabeth Jones
Maria honestly couldn't believe what the man was saying. Did they seriously expect them NOT to act in a hostile manner when they barged in here demanding Bismarck come with them? No, this man was just crazier than she originally thought at first glance. Hell, he might be crazier than Kyrie herself. Maybe. She wasn't quite sure what to make of it exactly. The second he walked right up to her and pressed her blade to his forehead she knew he was nuts. She honestly did think of stabbing him right then and there...but no, from the way he was acting. He WANTED her to try. He had something planned, just what she didn't actually know. "Fuck you.." She muttered, clenching her katana tighter.

When her kids were mentioned her eyes widened in shock. That clearly struck another nerve in her, but again she didn't attack yet. He was up to something. He was seemingly entirely unarmed, begging to be attacked, and yet he had no fear whatsoever. He wasn't some crime boss in over his head, no, he had a plan. But what was it? Surely it wasn't the men backing him up outside? No, those men could easily turn on him once they figured out just how much they fucked up by following some normal ass human whose ego got too big. Unless...that was exactly what he wanted them to think? That he did actually have some plan, and in reality he was just some jackass trying to talk big but in reality he had nothing to go on but an army like most normal humans.

This thought made Maria smirk a little, genuinely smirk. She was thoroughly convinced that was the case here. He threatened their entire family and expected to walk away without any wounds? Not on her watch. Not now, not as long as she could move. She was about to make her own attack, until Bismarck summoned up Patronous. She absolutely loved when he got like this, all pissed off and ready to kick some ass. It made her happy to know when push came to shove he'd summarily trample all over push and destroy anything behind it as best he could. "You do it Bizzy~" She cheered, still keeping her serious demeanor. Elizabeth however didn't intend on attacking until she had to or was told to, calmly sitting there and observing the best moment to strike.

Of course, Masakazu then tried to act like they were insulting HIM by attacking his men. Maria thought it best not to delve to far in to just how stupid that was. Next he threatened to break her kids' bones...and that was just crossing the line. Had his 'merry men' not shown up in a fucking armored bus that destroyed a wall of the shop she would of been stabbing multiple holes into that ugly face of his. But no, now they were being shot at. Maria and Elizbeth both quickly dove behind a shelf to protect themselves, looking out and watching the fight before them; primarily to make sure Bismarck and Chuck didn't get filled with holes.

Luckily, Chuck had a plan. It was something she never expected the guy to to, but he did it. Shooting the sprinkler and frying a large portion of his men. Maria took advantage of this, weaving her way through the shelves with her sister and making her way over to the back of the bus. She would then open the back of the thing, gun drawn, firing at anyone that remained inside. Those that didn't get a bullet received a katana to a lethal place of her choosing. She received a few wounds, as did Elizabeth, though nothing actually serious.

The few remaining 'merry men' in the bus taken care of they made their way out of said bus, on the side not electrocuted, and noted Masakazu walking downstairs. They wasted no time following him...though they were much too late. She didn't like it...but she lowered her weapon; though kept it drawn. "Let go of my kids.." She growled. "They have NOTHING to do with this! They don't even know what's going on!" She shouted, staring at her quite obviously terrified twins and then back to the man. They needed some form of plan, but she just wasn't sure what at this point.

THE LETTERMAN
"NO!" The hoarse cry that belonged to Bismarck suddenly filled the nursery; he limped in, still clutching the injured arm as he stared down the beast that dared threaten his sons. His face was pale from the loss of blood, his palms sweaty and shaky. He looked at Nikolas and Phineas, heartbroken by their cries, but he knew that, as the head of the family, he was supposed to stay strong. But, as much as his inner fighter begged him to punch the man in the gut, he realized that there was only one way in getting these thugs out of his store, and this....this....this beast away from his sons.

Two shaking hands raised in the air in total surrender; Bismarck stared at the ground, feeling ashamed. Some example he was being compared to the others, who were much braver and much stronger than he would ever be, he told himself. But this was the only way. He had done his best, but he just had to do this. His book was still clenched in his fist.

Then he heard Maria's voice; she was definitely braver than him as she threatened the man to leave their kids alone. He stared at Nikolas and Phineas, who, though oblivious, were speaking. What it was, he didn't know, until Phineas let out a gleeful and loud "FUCK YOU".

Bismarck froze, staring in disbelief at his son. Then Nikolas followed afterward, saying the exact same thing. Then they literally chanted the phrase in unison. In their cute toddler voices.

Bismarck wasn't quite sure what to say, but soon, without thinking, he threw the book at the man's head. Ouch; the father winced, but took the chance to limp over to the nearest bookshelf and just pelt the enemy with books.

The Rouge

She seemed enthusiastic about the idea of him showing her a place, although the idea of her being his student was still fresh in his mind. He would ask her about it later, but they were short on time. If they wanted to get this job done by 3 days (which was his warranty), they needed to move fast. "Follow me kid". He knew exactly how to get to The Citadel. After jumping from building to build for about ten minutes, they came across a very old stone building. It was relatively small compared to Hell Cities skyscrapers, but it was of decent size. It's door was located on a street corner and it had a very dark essence to it. Rouge chuckled at its site "Some things never change" he thought to himself. It had been years since he had visited this building, with the last time being with his wife.

After the kid caught up with him and was staring in awe at the building, Rouge smiled "I bet your wondering why I have taken you to this old building" he said in a slight giggle "Let's just say it's the beginning of your training". After pulling a large black cloak from his back and covering himself, he left down to the entrance. After all, he did not want to frighten anyone by his unnatural appearence. He then stepped inside with Andromida, eying the beautiful and fancy front desk. Funny, they even had the same desk manager "It's been quite some time Stacy" he said to the woman at the desk. She was in casual business attire, had glasses and black hair. She smiled at his words "Why so it was mister Yami" she said in a very polite tone "I presume you want to be checked into your room". "yes please Stacy". the woman then looked to Andromeda with curiosity "You must be a novice that Rough is showing around" she said with a smirk "Dont worry, ill get a room for you too". after she was done checking them into their rooms, Rouge smiled "thank you Stacy. we'll be in the bar if you need anything"

They opened the Large glass doors and entered the bar. The smell of whiskey and wine filled the air, with just a touch of cigarette. they then sat down at a table on the far side of the room where they could talk in private. after settling in, Rouge finally spoke "I bet your still wondering why i have brought you here kid. to you this place must look like just a regular hotel" he said. a waiter came by with a few shots of whiskey. Rouge drank down a shot like it was water "Well listen up. I told you i would show you some things before we start. Lesson 1: Reputation." the tone of his voice changed to serious "This place is known as The Citadel. it is a place where assassins can come for refuge and protection. its a place where they can recuperate and meet with other assassins. no one can touch you here" he then took another shot "Id though id show you how serious and dangerous the assassin game is" he then gestured his hand to the crowd. there were dozens of people of all shapes, sizes, genders, species and races. "Every person you see out there is a killer. if you want to be among the best, you have to make a name for yourself, a reputation" this time instead of taking a shot, he took the bottle instead.

Masakazu W. Fuma (Location: Rainy Traveller general store)(Currently: "Fighting Bizzy")

Three remained of Masakazu’s men, one badly wounded from shock and a bit disoriented and the others moving him along after they made their way through the downstairs corridors, until they came across a couple of voices one of which was Masakazu with a couplet of children that made a series of deafening screams, as if they just been discovered the madman that was trying to find them. Not wasting any second, all of them escorting the injured one into the infirmary and made their way inside, where they saw a frightening scene, even for them! Masakazu was near one of the far-reaches of the wall with his hands placed firmly upon their shoulders, as to keep them from running away. “Sir, i don’t mean to be intrusive but we’re only here for Bismarck, not the- " His voice was swiftly cut-out by the sound Masakazu’s harsh voice scolding him for his intolerance. “Oh? Are you giving me orders now?! You best learn your place damn well fast or i’ll string you up by your vocal cords, now come over here and tie these little shits up and watch over them! Break their damned bones if Bismarck doesn’t listen to reason, i’ve got something in store for them.” How inhumane, they were only kids and this psychopath was beginning to take things way over the edge as they were naive and innocent, not involved with the situation at all and both of them were still learning their basic diction. They didn’t serve this kind of treatment as well as being scared that their lives were in the balance because of a situation that went was horribly miscalculated. “Understood sir.”

One of the Tora syndicate soldiers huffed, knowing he had no other choice to listen the Oyabun. Reaching for his utility belt he whipped out a couple of plastic zip-ties and begun tying them around their wrists, limiting their movement and putting their hands behind their back, even if they were kids. Something was very off about this associate of Mr.Fuma, he was masked almost looking like a hooded execution of sorts but his eyes were very distinctive, both of which had a mixed color of red and yellow creating a dim orange. “Listen, kids don’t get him riled up, i’m sorry to say this but i’m going to have to move you out of here when the commotion happens. This wasn’t planned but you both need to be stay calm and follow me when the time comes or else all we’re all dead.” He whispered to each of them, before standing behind both of them and trying his best to fit in with the others that were acting as menacing except for the injured member who was clutching his ribs in agony while sitting against the corner of the infirmary. Maskazu on the other-hand was pacing around like a junkie that was hopped up on all sorts of street drugs but his pacing stopped as another ‘ding’ notification alerted him from his phone. Bernkastel! He wish he could feel her presence with him at the very moment as he taught these unbearable Lydia Harp lackeys a thing or two about violence.

“No promises that their faces will look as good as mine when I bring them in! Not that they had a chance in beating me in looks! Ha! But i’m sure that things will sort themselves out eventually, i’m going to lie to someone like you but even i’m having a bit of trouble trying to do this quickly. They’re sending everything at me but, you know how much I like company! ;) See you soon ~ Kazzy

And with a single press of his thumb the cheesy message was sent to Bernkastel and at an opportune time as both Bismarck and his insufferable wife had just broke through the door leading into the infirmary. Of course that loud-mouthed banshee that he’s so infatuated with started about yelling again as if that was going to make him lay down and just submit. “Oh? Well boo-hoo, you have nothing to do with this either, it’s just Bismarck, his shit-stained brother, and I. So how about you mozy on down somewhere else, you’ve made things go out of hand and now you’re going to have to deal with the consequences! I’m sorry but uncle Kazzy is going to have to put you kids to sleep early if your father doesn’t settle his ass down.” A few seconds after he saw his hands raise up, pointing his fingertips to the ceiling in submission. A soft cheeky smile came about his face yet again as he got his way. Finally, he’s looked into reason. That brain of his must’ve been dysfunctional earlier because of all the havoc he caused. Bot low and behold his brats were just as arrogant, “Fuck you!” One of them cried out as another another followed, repeating the insulting comment once again until their father gained enough courage to assault Masakazu by throwing books at him with an obvious wound still gushing out with blood. Each book bounced off Masakazu’s titanium plated head, his brow furrowing in irritation as he continued.

“This is tiring. Just give up, at this point i’m not even in the mood to play. I’m half a second away from killing those munchkins of yours. However since you’re so excited that Uncle Kazzy is here i’ll play with you but no weapons including those books of yours. Only your fists! Hey that wife of yours can join in too if you want to make it a fair-fight. Hell, get your brother in here too if you want, let’s make it a challenge! Remember fists only, i’m sure you’d hate to see your children go away permanently.”
Masakazu carefully shrugged his shoulders backwards in a warming-up fashion as he loosened up his coat-jacket and threw it onto the ground below him, including his button-up dress shirt that came with it. Scars were marked all across his body. Bullets, lacerations, and burn marks all of them tattooing his body. He carefully drug up his fists in glee as he cracked his neck side to side. “If you happen to beat me fair and square, i’ll let your kids and all of you gooo! Pinky promise!” He laughed as he made his first move, without warning he became within a few feet of Bismarck. It was shocking how fast someone like him could move, it was as if his feet were on clouds and they were carrying him onward into the fight. With a single thrust of his arm, he collided his fist onto the center of his stomach.
(Oh, heads up. Try not to injure that Tora soldier behind the kids, a bit of a surprise. :) )

andromeda | specy;

Andromeda followed suit towards the building he aspired to reach. Once they reached inside, she did almost a 360 as she twirled to look at the beautiful decor of the hotel, almost bumping head first into the desk counter. She held the edge of the counter and leant back like a kid swinging from a monkey bar. The lady noticed her and smirked at her, to which she soon returned the favour. Following Rogue again to the bar area, and she once again almost flew head first into the bar counter. She listened carefully to his words, taking mental notes to write down later on. "Ok..."

"How must i do that then?" she replied unsureto Rogue, then turned to ask the waiter for some wine.

Daedra Wraithborne
Daedra could instantly tell that her....over-preparedness caught Erika off guard. Understandable. She tried her best to seem placid and innocuous. Which she was, at least for now. For a moment she simply stood at the door, her eyes conveying the smile her mask covered as it whirred quietly pulling in air to compensate for her lack of conventional lungs and a diaphragm.
"It's nothing of the sort, I assure you" Daedra commented to Erika asking Emmanuel if he had crossed her. "I'm not here in retaliation or recommendation."
She calmly look around into the room the room behind Erika before bringing her eyes back to meet hers.
"Though, I am here on business. My I come in?"

THE ROBOT Solemn Jester Solemn Jester

Don Hearth
Don smiled, sadly, moved that Anita even while mostly machine. Could still show human emotion, even about something like this. That pleasant thought was quickly pushed away as he was Bea hugged by Anita.. Well more like mechanical bull hugged, since she was a Android he figured. He grunted, tensing up, and wheezing as the air was squeezed from his lungs. Luckily she didn't break any bones, causing Don to let out a sigh of relief, his body relaxing once more.

"Glad your happy," He said watching as Anita more or less skipped to the living room. Which Don imagined couldn't be good for the floor. He just hoped it wouldn't cave in under her new biotic weight. He followed, making sure she didn't get stuck in the floor, he really didn't feel like trying to pull her out. He'd probably kill himself trying, it was just a good thing he didn't stay dead for long. He walked in to Anita repeatedly saying buffering, in a robotic tone. Suddenly his stance changed to a more serious one. He began to sweat nervously, as he watched her buffer. It was like a gamer waiting for his game to finish loading, hoping, just praying it didn't freeze. Then Don walked up and tapped her, jumping back as she suddenly began moving, and went back to normal. Don let out a heavy sigh, and handed her the papers," you know I thought watching my girlfriend buffer would be something alot kinkier, and less nerv raking. Okay, just sign the paper and I'll be sure to go and give it to the right people to make it official."

Yozaku Ishimori
Yozaku was out like a light, his face lay to the hammock, as if he had been knocked out. Obviously his day had been exhausting, but deep inside his mind he dreamed he was in darkness. He heard buzzing, and zapping as if some kind of electrical fence surrounded him. Then he heard a voice, rusty, metallic, like static is called."Ohh Yozaku! Sooner or later I'm going to escape, and when I do I'm going to peel the flesh from the bones of those you love." The voice taunted him from some undisclosed location. Yozaku stood up and moved towards the fence. He seemed beat up, and worn out, as if he had been fight for survival for some time now."I won't let you....you won't get away with this!"

He called as he grabbed the darkness, suddenly electricity's began coursing through his body. He roared in pain, before releasing the now visible electrical fence, and dropping to his knees, smoke rising from his skin. Suddenly foot steps could be heard approaching, Yozaku just hung his head as a figured approached from outside the fence. The light from the fence shined on the figure, showing a mirror image of Yozaku, although he seemed to me made of data."You never learn do you? Your body will be mine in time, you cannot stop me much longer, as much as you may want to hold me back I will win eventually."

The Yozaku clone knealt down, smiling at Yozaku, his voice filled with malious, and disgust."After all you're only human, your pathetic kind can't last forever. When they fall I shall rise with my kind, to take my place as ruler of this world." The clone began to laugh menacingly as the Scene began to fade, and once again Yozaku was shown laying next to Bern. He moved closer to her, and wrapped his arms back around her in a affectionate manner.

THE LETTERMAN SidTheSkid SidTheSkid Sugary_Paragraphs Sugary_Paragraphs Mitchs98 Mitchs98
Okay, so talking about his brother in such a manner in front of Bismarck made the man especially angry, and for once willing to punch the enemy in the face. He even nodded a little at the direct challenge, shrugging off his vest and loosening his tie. He was down to one arm, two legs, and his head to fight, based on the terms....plus Maria, Elizabeth, and Chuck were allowed to join in, so that gave his side seven arms, eight legs, and four heads. That could overpower Masazaku's one head, two arms, and two legs by number, but by skill? That depended. The Letterman removed his necktie, noticing how the kids were now tied up. Theoretically, Masakazu would let them go if he managed to defeat the man.

"U-Understood," he stammered, getting into a fighting stance. He had a strategy planned out. Sort of. Of course, the punch in the stomach sent Bismarck flying backwards; he groaned in pain, clutching it, but stood up all the same, smiling in a rather disoriented fashion. "Of...Of course....ju-just like the bullies in high school....." He chuckled, limping back to the man and looking him in the eyes. Those awful, evil eyes that reminded him of just that. Then he summoned up his courage and kicked Masakazu in the chest, combining that with a punch directed at the neck. "........So, tell me...! Wh-What do you want with Chuck and I that caused you to send several men to kill us....?! Wh-Why are you threatening my family?"

Ez, still trying to process the fact that Emu and turned (shapeshifted? What ever it was it was a still quite lot to take in even with everything that was happening) into Erika he quietly got himself another cup of tea as he waited for her (them?) to return.

"Maybe if I drink enough of it my nerves will be numb enough to think He'll City is actually a normal place for once." He muttered quietly. "Imagine that. A city where crazy shit like this doesn't happen. What a luxury..." He trailed of sipping his tea.
