Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

"Well I heard about that chick he married. He should be focused on his family I guess. I mean that's where you could soften up, right?" She said remembering when Kuroh spent time with her and their daughter. Even though Kuroh seemed to have intensive training, it didn't affect his personality as it seemed as if he didn't fight at all. He was just... normal.
"He's one of those guys who fights to protect his family. At least from what he told me. Same goes for his friends." Ramona said, having shared his memory, she knows of his childhood and what happened to his friends. "I can go into more detail, but I suppose I shouldn't. Lets just say, there's more to why he's the way he is. I haven't gotten a chance to meet his wife nor his children yet... They attend the high school and a lot of the time everyone is busy doing their own thing. You're right, but at the same time you have to stay strong for them... Aaah... You should know he's a complicated guy."

+ Ophelia Four Libera +
~ Blade of Libera ~
Ophelia had finished her training with some of the heroes who were experts with a rapier and katana. She figured to be more skilled in other swords than just her grand sword. She was also perfecting her magic as well. For some odd reason shortly after Lana's grandfather's death, Ophelia began to adopt some of her peoples' customs, her hair color began to change as well as her choice of outfits. Mostly because with her blade, she figured she'd need speed so she would need to be a lightweight therefore wearing small amounts of armor. In which case, she was wearing less armor than usual. Only her boots, gauntlets and a chest plate. The rest was just a dress and a cape to add since it was a gift from one of the people whom she saved during a mission that had that person in a tight spot. Her personality changed a bit as well, making her a bit more nicer when she isn't in combat. Also after several missions the heroes village had, she mostly took on hostage rescue missions that were conducted by non-human terrorists. Possibly remnants of resistance groups from the civil war from last year. She happened to adopt her surname, Libera, which many called her a liberator seeing how she frees the hostages with none of them injured or missing. Even if it did mean leaving some of the terrorists in the vicinity, that was mainly the job of another task force or from the police force. The hostages mattered more to her. She was now just walking back to her's and Lana's place in the village to rest up. She hasn't talk to Lana in awhile assuming she was always busy. She figured if her grandfather died and he used to lead the people, Lana would probably be the next heir so she assumed that Lana would have to take leadership. Unless Lana's parents took it instead. She mainly couldn't talk to her because of training upon taking a vow to not let anyone die by anyone's hand. She wanted to protect the village. Seeing as how Lana cried after her grandfather's death, she didn't want to see her so sad like that again. As she neared the front door, she spoke to herself, holding her blade in its sheath. "I wonder when was the last time I spoke to Lana casually... Maybe we can go out on a date or something today if she isn't busy."
Daniel Reaving Daniel Reaving
Lana had been busy since her grandfather died. She had quickly taken on the head role and was keeping things as best she could in her grandfathers absence. But she missed ophelia. The only time she ever saw her was in bed time and they were always both to tired to do anything but sleep. She was dying for a day with her alone and here was her chance. The village had convinced her to take a day off with Ophelia. She was excited as she waited at the door a boque of flowers in her hands as she waited for her girlfriend to get home to hear the good news. Hearing Ophelia at the door she immediately flung the door open and before Ophelia could react she locked lips with her happily and wrapped her arms around her neck

She guessed she wasn't busy anymore. Ophelia placed her hands on Lana's lower back as she kissed her. Noticing the bouquet of flowers, she obviously was given time to do as she pleased. They could definitely go on a date like this which made Ophelia smile.

Yumi scooted over a little so Elliot could have more room on the bench. She wasn't taking up the whole space or anything, but she was sitting directly in the middle of it. After she had moved over enough, she folded the corner of the page of the book she was reading and closed it, setting it on her lap. Damaging the book was something she hated, but without a bookmark, she didn't know what to do. She would have to try and smooth out the page later when she went back to her dorm. She did have to agree that it was a nice break from all the work she did, but it had gone on a little to long for her liking. Though it probably would have been better if she had taken someone with her, while she loved her family, she did get tired of see them every day after a month or so. There was the occasional walk by herself and sometimes going swimming alone. It was kind of lonely after awhile and just stuck with her family. Taking along a friend would have made it a less boring. Even though she did do her homework while she was there, which Yumi always thought was fun, oddly enough. "It was fun, the cabin we were staying in was a decent size. If I go anywhere next time, I'll have to take you with me so you don't miss out on all the fun." It was meant to be a joke, but if Elliot really did want to go with her on the next trip, she wouldn't mind the company. The more the merrier, really. So long as it would be fun, she was all for bringing along friends.

Yumi's eye's widened in surprise when he quickly jumped off the bench after barely sitting down. That's right, while she had done all assignment that's needed to be, she didn't ever get the notes. Everything was saved onto her laptop, notes and diagrams alike. She could just copy them from there, but it did make her happy to know that Elliot would let her copy his notes if she so needed it. "As much as I appreciate that, I have all of it on my laptop. Most of them sent my the notes for all the classes I missed. I just have to get it all written down. Thank's though." Grinning, she leaned back into her seat as she traced the book on her lap. Yumi giggled when he had apologized for interrupting her. While in the beginning she had been annoyed, not realizing it was a friend who had stopped her from reading, she didn't mind it at all now. It wasn't something to be so upset over anyways. "It's fine, you don't have to apologize. If you had been in my position, I would have done the same thing." While the book was good, she couldn't say was mad at him for interrupting her. If anything, she was glad he had. Yumi did miss him and Elaena, as well as all her other friends when she was gone.

"How was everything here?" Yumi was more than curious to see if he had been up to anything or if anything interesting had happened while she was away.

He smiled softly as she spoke about her trip away, it sounded like she had a good time on her break, which he was glad to hear of course, she hadn't mentioned school work but she didn't have to, he already knew she was probably still working away on it while she was there. Although he did tell her on more than one occasion not to overwork herself, he didn't disagree with her doing school work completely, if anything, he admired that about Yumi, she had so much drive to push on with it to be the best she could be all the time, where as he didn't do that very much at all. He had always been a bit of a pessimist regardless of how hard he tried not to be. "Maybe I will" he answered with a small chuckle when she joked about taking him along, he knew it was a joke, but honestly going somewhere with Yumi sounded like it would be a pretty fun idea to him. He was sure that Elaena would probably pester to go too, she had grown quite fond of Yumi after meeting her, not many people felt comfortable with Elaena's odd nature at times, where she seemed fine with it.

He nodded when she explained that she already had the notes for class, he should have guessed that one really. But at least if she hadn't gathered them herself, he could have still have her his "You're welcome" he answered with a sheepish grin when she had told him she appreciated him offering the notes to him. He took a moment or two to think about her next question, placing his hands into his pockets as he narrowed his eyes in thought. "Normal?" He answered before shrugging a little bit "I mean, nothing spectacular happened, Elaena an I had our birthday last week. Elaena made me a cake, it was burnt as hell but she was pretty proud of it so I ate it anyway" he answered laughing lightly as he thought back on it. "Wow, if that's the best I can think of as a story from here then my time was pretty boring" he joked "maybe things will be a bit more fun with you back, Elaena will be pretty excited to see you back. That is, if i could find her to tell her..." He said, looking around the school courtyard quickly again before lifting one of his hands and ruffling his hair a little "That's what I was doing before I spotted you, searching for her"

Cecil had smiled, getting up when Maya went to get her jacket, stretching as he stood up. That was a good nap. Cecil was fully rested and ready to enjoy the day with his favorite person on the entire planet. He went and put on his shoes, choosing a new jacket and shirt to wear out. When he found one, he fixed his hair, making it look like he usually has it. Once that was out of the way, he didn't feel the need to do anything and went into the living room to wait for Maya. "Hey, you almost done yet?" He called out to her, wondering if she had finished getting ready. Cecil was excited to finally spend some time with Maya, and this time outside of work. He loved work, but he loved Maya more... This was some time he could never let pass by without good usage.

After fixing herself up a bit to make herself more presentable, Maya had moved to the kitchen to grab her bag. She had just lifted it and placed it over her shoulder when Cecil had called out to her, asking was she ready, she popped her head out around the entrance to the kitchen and smiled at him. "Yep! All ready~" She chimed before she then stepped out of the kitchen and made her way over to Cecil, looking pretty excited about it all, it wasn't often she got to go places and she intended to enjoy as much of it as she very well could "Shall we get going?" She does tilting her head slightly "Where is on our list to go first?" She asked curiously, since he had been the one to suggest going out in the first place.

--Misafune--

Good girl..find your center and focus. Do not be afraid. He thought to himself, as he prepared for the Icy coolness that would wash over him if she did everything right. He forced a smile as he watched her begin the chant, and shape her hands to the gesture that he had taught her. He closed his eyes, fighting the imbalance to regain some composure, to begin his own Mudra. He weakly moved his hands into the Pyou mudra, Chanting "Akuryou Taisan, on i shanaya in taraya sowaka."

pyou.jpg

He opened up his energies to allow her energies to caress him and heal him of his wounds, the image would appear as if she was comforting and caressing each of his wounds away, but not physically. His chant also dispelled the anger and vehemence in each would left by the men, purifying his body to allow the healing to have a greater effect. Boy did this girl learn her stuff. He smiled at the thought of her moving through the mystics school at a rapid rate and traveling to help others. He blushed at the thought of her caressing him quite deeply. It would not be unwelcome, but his teenaged brain could not process such sensory overload. His arm felt stronger and he could breath normally again. But he had to end this quickly, lest she drain herself to save him, and that was a taboo he never wanted to cross. "Please stop, most of the wounds now are superficial and will heal with no lasting effects." he spoke out as he caressed her cheek.

Rini's eyes were shut as she tried to focus on what she was doing. She hoped she was doing it correctly and wasn't screwing it up, she didn't want to end up accidentally making him worse instead of better. She could feel her own energy leaving her, so she must have been accomplishing something, right? Not long after that, she had felt a hand place itself on her cheek. Her eyes fluttered open to see Misafune looking over at her, he looked to be a little better now. She had stopped when he asked her to not being able to help the smile that was now making its way to her lips happy that Misafune was okay and proud that she had managed to help out with him without screwing up like she had feared beforehand. "I'm happy to hear that" she said softly "I do hope you take proper rest until the rest of your injuries are healed up naturally though" she said after, not in a scolding tone, but she did mean what she said, thinking back on their previous misadventures, it wasn't unheard of for him to be reckless while still not at full strength.

The sun was high in the sky, blazing down on all the flowers and the grass in the garden. The sound would’ve been nothing but a peaceful breeze, except the sounds of jeering and horrid laughter echoed in the air.

Under a cherry blossom tree in the garden, sat a pale lady. Not pale as in light-skinned, although Gail is a ‘British white’, but pale as in…translucent. The girl sat with her knees against her chin as several stones passed through her body and clattered against the bark behind her. She looked up to see that the usual group of bullies had found her again – 4 boys in total, all armed with pebbles from the ground. They loved to stone the ghost. They know she doesn’t retaliate.

She sighed solemnly, her voice echoing ethereally around the garden, as she pulled the sapphire from her cloak, letting it drop to the floor. She was dead, yes, but she still enjoyed the heat of the sun and the cool of the wind. She looked at the sapphire with sadness in her eyes. It was abnormally large – almost the size of her hand and set in a beautiful golden clasp. Still, she never saw wealth from it, but memories of a time long past. She sighed once more as a tear falls from her eye. She couldn’t tell if it was from the bullies, or the memories.

It was such a tiring day. So many things had been happening for Ren. He was the luckiest man alive after all, and well, it while it did get sort of boring after awhile, he was grateful because his roommate was the total opposite and boy did his life suck. Not even he could help. After getting himself lunch at the restaurant closest to school, he headed back to the dorms, drinking his favorite juice. He had his whole day after this planned out, and it was to simply relax and enjoy himself. As he made it onto school grounds, he quickly caught sight of something. A very unpleasant sight. It seemed as if some boys were throwing something at someone. Getting closer to investigate, he saw that it was a girl. They were throwing rocks at someone, and of all people a girl. That wasn't going to fly by on his watch. Walking over there, he stood in front of the girl, his luck keeping the rocks from even coming into contact with either of them. He then looked to his side a bit, "Hey, are you okay back there?" He asked before the rocks stop being thrown. He then looked back to the bullies who were throwing them and he laughed. "You guys should run by the way. Won't be long until I make up my mind on whether I should hurt you or not."

Cecil hummed a little as he waited for Maya, hearing her voice when she responded to his question. When she came from the kitchen, and over to him, he smile happily and spoke, "You look beautiful, Maya~" He said, taking notice to how she did her hair and clothes. Cecil then held out his hand to her, thinking of a place they could go to first. She actually had a good point when asking him that, and he ha immediately realized he hadn't thought of that yet. Silently thinking to himself on the matter, something had come to mind. "Ah~ We can go to the park first. I always loved going there with you, and then maybe after that our favorite restaurant? I'm going mostly off the places we liked visiting together when we were still in high school." He told her, laughing lightly. "Then maybe before we come home, which probably will be around the time the sun sets, we can enjoy a little walk on the beach together? Get a nice picture there and then we can head back. We'll still do everything we've planned beforehand too." Cecil added.

"Enough about him though." Ramona said, laughing lightly. "How about we talk about ourselves a bit? Get to know one another and stuff, y'know?"
Himeragi nodded. But what should they talk about? She wasn't sure what interest they had. So she might as well ask. "Okay so what do you like?"

"Of course I'd love to." She said softly as she kissed her nose lovingly

The bullies just throw their last rock, before leaving whilst sniggering. They shoot one final twisted smile at Gail before leaving. She just looks at her brooch again.

“Thanks…but you didn’t have to. They weren’t going to hurt me…they wouldn’t be able to hurt me…”

Her voice is gentle, and echoes beautifully through the air. It, like Gail herself, is ethereal and seems to fade away as it travels away from her. Not like how sound diminishes in the air, but more like how smoke turns to nothing when away from the fire. She stands up to greet the man who just ‘saved’ her, her form returning from a glass-like state back to what seemed to be flesh and cloth. As she stands, she picks up her cloak and wraps it back around herself, using the jewel to clasp it shut.

“Hello…I’m Gail. Gail Umberwood. Nice to meet you.”

She extends a pale skinned hand, decorated in expertly-crafted golden bracelets and a single, dull iron bracelet. She also wears a signet ring on her middle finger, crafted with the appearance of a tree on it in solid gold.

Ren chuckled as the bullies just left, shaking his head in disappointment. When the girl spoke, he turned around, blinking at the way her voice sounded. It was something he wasn't used to hearing. It was calming though, so it didn't bother him, just was a new sound. He smiled at her, laughing a little, "Is that so? Well I guess you're welcome. I only came t help because when I got closer, I noticed you were crying... Even if they couldn't hurt you I wanted to help you." He told her, rubbing the back of his head. When she told him her name, and offered a hand to shake, he gently reached out and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you, Gail. I'm Ren. Ren Yamada."

"Hmmm... I guess I am interested in guns and katanas since my weapons are gun blades. I like martial arts too, but I think my punches and kicks got rusty. Uhm I like cooking too, video games and I like artistic stuff. Y'know like songs and music. I am a bit interested in demon stuff since that's where most of my attack type of spells are influenced from. But for my video games, I like to play CS:GO. Simple to play. You need skill to play it efficiently. Right now I am just trying to keep my aim at head level which is... Hard for me to comprehend." Himeragi blabbed on. By the end of it, she was sure she just started from the trail and just went in so many directions from it. Basically, she realized the way she spoke of it, was going everywhere all at the same time.

Perfect

~ God of Perfection

Perfect wasn't getting any better from this situation. He could only regenerate at this point. Whatever the Road Warrior did, it allowed him make Perfect explode at will, and he knew that well by now. "I'm a man, but I have a name." He said, stretching out his limbs. "Wasting my time like this isn't boding well for the planet, mind you." He then sighed as he was blown into pieces again. Perfect knew as soon as those words came out of his mouth, it was going to happen. After regenerating for the third time, Perfect looked at Jojo with an intense glare. "Do it again and see what happens. I am serious when I say this. Either leave now, or I will kill you." There didn't seem to be any hesitation in his voice. Perfect was dead serious about it now.

~~Jojo, Fist of the 4th Wall~~

Jojo considered all his choices now, He could keep on blowing the bugman's mind all over the place, but yet, he was given the perfect opportunity to get away scot free. Yes. Indeed, this thinking led him to revert back to his usual dominant form. Brute force was no longer the name of the game. Now was the time for survival, he'd like some other schmuck deal with that overgrown green cockroach. Besides, that meat didn't taste all that good, definitely needed more salt or butter. It needed something because it was definitely lacking, like low-quality pork. Well, whatever. "So, does that mean that the overgrown cockroach throws temper tantrums like some spoiled brat?" Jojo mocked while waving with two fingers. It was a game now, he knew it, and the Bugman is probably smart enough to know it. After all, besides the first time, Jojo only triggered his power over Perfect upon his mentioning/implying of death. Though, Jojo was now backing up slowly, keeping his eyes on the Bugman. But, then Jojo started passed the Bugman, as if he was staring at someone else, like a puppetmaster to the Bugman "You want the next guy, you let me go without issues. You got that you weeb?" Jojo said before turning to run. Almost as if he felt a question from Perfect coming on, Jojo shouted "It means it's time to split!"

Fenris sighed as he looked through his restaurant's barren pantry. Seriously. What the hell was he paying Rodríguez and the others for if they couldn't even remember to stock the damn pantry and ensure they could operate during normal working hours. Growling in frustration as he marched back into the kitchen, Fenris slapped a tall Mexican worker on the back of the head as he passed by growling out, "watch the shop. I'm going to do your damn job." standing upright the Mexican man gave Fenris a cheesy smile and sarcastic salute as he followed his boss out of the kitchen with his eyes. Walking out of the shop Fenris shrugged and reached into his back pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes, before again searching through another of his pockets to find a lighter. Sheltering the tip of the cigarette from the wind, Fenris held up the lighter and spun its wheel, striking the flint and igniting the fumes, causing the cigarette to smolder with a bright red flame. Taking a long drag of the cigarette Fenris blew out an unnaturally thick plume of smoke which slowly coiled around him before becoming a long heavy over coat. Shoving his hands in the overcoats pockets, Fenris began walking towards the local super market occasionally blowing out a plume of smoke as he walked.

Reaching the super market Fenris walked inside and pulled out a cart from the long rows available, ignoring all the strange looks he received from the other more regular looking customers he began to walk down the isles pulling a vast variety of items from the shelves, quickly filling his first cart, Fenris walked back to the front of the store and retrieved a second cart quickly filling that one as well. ignoring the strange looks he received from a mother and child Fenris grumbled ragout how if Rodríguez had scheduled the delivery as he was supposed to, then Fenris wouldn't be having to this, so the difference between the super market price and whole sale price was coming out of his next paycheck. Finally filling up yet a third cart Fenris grabbed a fourth cart and headed to his final distinction the deli to get all the meats they would need for this week. Walking through the isles, Fenris sighed as he looked back at his long convoy of shopping carts, each filled to the brim and connected to him by a thin tendril of smoke, thinking that he stood out a fairly large amount. Finally reaching the deli, Fenris began searching through the select cuts, only selecting the finest cuts of meat, never once glancing at the prices, causing the poor young deli worker behind the counter to freak out slightly wondering if they were about to get robbed.

Perfect

~ God of Perfection

Perfect stood in the center of his ring, disappointed with himself for what was taking place. He was giving this asshole a chance to run. Why? He didn't know. It was either kill him and never have to hear about him again, or let him run off... And never hear from him again. Hard choice. When Jojo transformed, Perfect looked at him, "Oh?" He muttered before Jojo spoke to him. Perfect could only listen to his words with a amused look on his face. "Wow... I think I regret not killing you on sight even more with those 5th grader insults you keep spouting." He then stood there, turning his back on him for a bit before hearing his annoying voice once again. Perfect didn't respond, but only looking back when he ran off. "Tsk... Waste of breath. Who is up next?"
