Fantasy Altissa; School of Magic (Reboot) (Open)

Now that everyone was moving around, Amynomene realized it was time to step out and make some introductions. Her gaze swept the crowd of students and teachers, and she couldn't help but be drawn toward the vampire queen speaking with an intelligent looking fellow. Her long legs allowed her to cross the length of the auditorium with ease, and an easy smile lit her otherwise imposing features. The fact that Albert was looking in her direction had only made the introduction even easier for her.

"It seems like the dorm situation has caused quite the stir," she stated with amusement in her brown eyes. "Which means I should start making the rounds of introductions while everyone is preoccupied. I am Amynomene, the new combat instructor." She offered her hand first to Albert since he was the closest.

Neko

"Hope he get over that soon. It must be hard having me around"

Neko talked to Tora in a bit ashamed tone. She felt responsible for making the boy freaked out even though there was nothing she could do about it. As the headmaster appeared, Neko saw Tora flew above the row of seat and got to the one next to her. She also sat down and looked at the headmaster on the stage, waiting for what he was about to say...

Then Neko learned about the room assignment. Judging from their name, it seemed both her roommates were male. As she started to look around the room, she heard someone say

"Im Mark nice to meet you"

Neko turned to the voice. There were 2 boys sitting next to each other, and with one of them named Mark, so that must be her roommates. Although the headmaster told them to sit with each other, their seats were somehow close enough. So she just said to the boy with a friendly tone.

"So you're Mark Peterson? I'm Neko Asami or just Neko, nice to meet you."

After waving to the boy, she turned to Tora who seemed to looking for her roommate too.

"See you next time, Tora and Machi. Hope you won't jump away from me the next time we meet."

After saying that with a smile, Neko stood up and walked to the nearby seats where her roommates were sitting together.

Rose stopped her talking as the Amazon walked forward. Fingers going to her lips as she curled them around her cheeks, her tongue slipping past her lips as she giggled. "She seems fun . . . It'd be so fun to break her." She spoke in a silent whisper to Albert.

Bapple Dinnerworthy
"I actually can, but perhaps you can't. Perhaps you only make that joke to try to rid yourself of the pain of not being able to read this. Or perhaps you only do it to be annoying. I personally don't care either way, seeing as it is unlikely that you'll be able to read it until around 21, especially considering your maturity."

The pale boy's words stung like a bald-faced hornet. He was clearly well trained in the art of improv comedy. It was a good roast, but it felt almost personally handcrafted for Bapple, especially since she had only learned to read a year ago, and her current level was not proficient. In fact, if one were to try and read Bapple's joke book, they would find it incredibly hard to decipher due to her poor spelling and her ability to seemingly make up her own tenses.

Bapple turned away from the mean teen and shed a few quiet tears. She couldn't let him see that she was defeated, no matter how much pain she felt.

She was broken.

Bapple found an empty seat in the second row and waited for further instructions from the headmaster.

"As I was saying, we have some things to clear up such as schedules and dorm rosters."

"Dorm rosters?" Bapple thought to herself. It was at this moment, she had a horrifying realization. She forgot to pack a suitcase. All she had were the cut and stained clothes she was currently wearing. Bapple began to feel sick. How could she forget? How could anyone forget a suitcase? She could already imagine what Pickle, her mob boss and father, would say.

"Bapple you dumb dumb! How could you forget your entire suitcase but still remember your joke book? Well my point is that you should definitely take some more improv classes if you want to take down that dumb pale kid. You are the funniest person in the world Bapple! YAY BAPPLE! YAY BAPPLE! YAY BAPPLE!"

Bapple often let her imagination get the best of her.

While Bapple was lost in her imagination, she had unfortunatly missed the headmaster's reading of the dorm list. Luckily, there seemed to be an extra roster on the group next to his feet. She snuck up and quickly grabbed it.

Bapple looked at the roster to see who she would be rooming with. Maybe one of them could loan her some underwear or something.

Bapple noticed two names next to hers, but there weren't any pictures to give her a clue on who these people were. She made a mental note to herself that if she ever started a school, that there would be mandatory name tags. That would make things much easier.

Another problem she was having was that her poor reading abilities led her to not fully understand how the names on the roster needed to be pronounced.

"AH-LICK AND RAZOR! I AM BAPPLE! I AM YOUR ROOMMATE! PLEASE APPROACH ME," she yelled out to the group of students.

Rokku

Rokku has a problem with the dorm assignments, a big problem, and that is the fact that he had no idea of his dorm-mate's faces. Also that he turns into a toxic monster moth every full moon, but that he'll take care of latter. Now on the other hand, his concern should be locating his dorm mates. But how? Of course, he could call for them, yes he could do that, but his nature, his training, made it difficult for him to intentionally draw attention to himself. To begin with, for someone of such low stature as himself, though prestigious, is in no place to demand the other party to reveal themselves, or to demand anything as the matter of fact. Though it is also a matter of fact that he is no longer in his homeland, therefore his status there does not apply here. Still, this is indeed difficult to simply flip a switch and alter one's behavior.

Rokku decided to wait, to wait for the other party to demand his appearance. And he waited, and he waited... and then, nothing. No one came forth to seek him out. It would seem that the times have become dire, and now Rokku must act, or risk falling behind the rest, and as he knew very well, those who fell behind in war, remain fallen forever. Rokku then stood up, and did so with great bravado, but twas unfortunate, unfortunate that he had done so just as another is calling out to her mates. He looked at her, the one calling out, the shabbily dressed one with the fondness for wordplay. A bead of sweat ran down Rokku's back as he wondered if he had drawn her attention, if he had been mistaken for her dorm-mates. How embarrassing.

Should I sit back down then?

He wondered.

But would that not make it seem like he's the indecisive sort? That would be undesirable, and just as shameful. No choice then, he is committed now, he shall dispel whatever misunderstanding to be had with his own hands.

"I am, Rokku!"

He called with a voice perhaps greater than the shabby wordplay girl, the one calling herself Bapple,

"Mister Kaiden Alemark, Mister Flash Cobalt, please reveal yourselves!"

The one that called from the front, the one that called from the back. Seeing this, Rokku couldn't help but be just a tad bit competitive as he mused. Which of them will indeed gather first, and which of them will fall behind?

Albert then said "Of course, it is a pleasure, Amynomene but do you care if I just called you Amy? Anyway, this is my friend, Hera,". He then tapped the bench that a normal person would think was just him tapping but was a little code he made to Rose and the other members of the organization. This tapping would signal to Rose to begin hypnotizing her

Kaiden glanced behind him when he heard Flash would be his roommate. Would they even get along? Flash didn't seem like a jerk, but then again Kaiden had just met him. He could be a grade A asshole for all Kaiden knew. Oh god, please don't be a jerk, please don't be a jerk. Oh man, what if his other roommate was a jerk? No, it'll be fine. Just calm down.

At least this made things a lot easier. He didn't need to wander around without any idea who he was looking for. It was a bit of a relief. He should probably say something. He tried to smile at Flash but, realized he was wearing his scarf over his mouth so that was pointless.

"Guess we're roommates now." He said, hoping that he sounded cheerful.

"I am Rokku!"

This time Kaiden really did jump at the loud outburst. He quickly tried to compose himself though. Why did everyone have to be so loud here? What had that guy said? Rokku, right? That must be his other roommate. Kaiden noticed he spoke really formally, which Kaiden thought was weird for someone their age. Maybe his parents had just been really strict with manners. Someone with good manners couldn't be all that bad to live with.

"Oh um, over here!" Kaiden waved at Rokku, but his voice was still rather quiet.

"You're casting me out?!" Dezryityh's shrill voiced echoed across the Hall of Hierarch's, her face scrunched up in pain and anger, yet no tears. Never tears. "Do not be foolish, child!" Her father, the Grandmaster of Tiefling spellcraft, spoke down to her, his voice both pained and scolding.

"You misunderstand, Dezryith of House Skyreach." The High-Magister started, "You have been chosen for this mission because you are the only spell-crafter of sufficient age and skill to attend." The man nodded to her father, the Grandmaster, who in-turn returned the nod appreciatively. "It is a great honour, to be anointed this task. You will be one of three Tieflings experiencing the different magics of the world outside our nation. You will learn, you will practice, and you will remember, once your time in the outside world is over, you will return to us with your knowledge. You, Dezryith, are a Chosen. Many dream of such a blessing, but few receive it. It is the will of the Magisters that you do as we bid." His voice rang out with the authority of a rushing avalanche, poised to bury her in a snow-mound of death; suffocating her hopes, her dreams, her life.

Her glare held, eyes unflinching as they pierced the orbs of one of the most powerful spellcrafters on the planet; her father's. "So this is your will, father?" She questioned with finality, her voice breaking before she gathered her composure. The Tiefling-man's face fell, reddening slightly as he avoided her gaze. "I..." With a glance to the High Magister, he took a deep breath. "Yes, it is my will that you do this. For all of us."

A part of her heart died right then, she would not see her friends, her brother, nor the wonders of her home until her life was nearly over. This wasn't a blessing, this was a curse. Once more she stared at her father, she never wanted to see him again... But what made her most sad, was that she never would. She stared to remember his face, remember the good memories among her family. Her life here was over, nothing would change that, one thing he succeeded in teaching her was to always make the best out of a bad situation, and to always remember your roots.

"So let it be done." Dezryith spoke calmly, chin held high as her eyes met those of the High-Magister with a flame hotter than any furnace. "Your place at this school has already been secured, may the Blessed keep you, Dezryith of House Skyreach." The High-Magister bid, with the rest of the Magisters present repeating the blessing. All but her father, who stood with tears forming in his eyes. "My girl, remember your roots." He said, one hand over his heart. "I love you..."

A flash, bright and beaming, both terrible and beautiful; like staring at the sun, then she stood. Surrounded by unfamiliar surroundings, this was the school. Her new life. "Excuse me miss, the Auditorium is that way." A kindly woman spoke, her clothing almost hurting the Tieflings eyes. "Thank you." She spoke, walking aimlessly in the direction she had pointed, it took little time to discover a rather loud commotion vibrating throughout the narrow halls of this uncharted territory. Of course, she had learnt all about the schools of the outside world, in all their forms, she just never expected to... be in one.

"This must be the Auditorium..." She muttered to herself, slowly pressing the door open and gawking at the vast collection of appalling garments. Standing their, coated in the tight embrace of a Tiefling spellcraft outfit of immaculate make, definitely helped her ease in comparison to the rather bland wizard cloth this collection of people wore. People, real people, other people, not Tieflings. Woah.

Her head snapped to the front stage, towards a man who was dressed far more appropriately than the student base. He was assigning dorms, and had just called her name. Such a voice of authority made it clear; this was the High-Magister of the school, she imagined he most command great power to be put in charge of such a diverse array of magically-inclined beings.

"A time may come, when the odds are against you, without aid nor power, you may think all options are gone. But, my girl, always remember, you yourself or an option, to think on your feet is amore powerful tool than any spell will ever be Never rely on magic, rely on yourself. If that just so happens to include the use of magic, then all the better for you."

"I will father." She had said,

I will right now.

"Kent Rushton and Samantha Smith?" Dez called out powerfully to the rowdy crowd, hoping to attract her assigned dorm mates, they never had dorm mates in Talahri. She grimaced slightly and bit her tongue at how the words rolled off. Such strange names, she thought.

Tora nodded to Neko. "Don't worry about it. This is nothing compared to the time a tabby cat walked over and rubbed itself against his leg." Why do you have to tell her about that?! She ignored Machi for the moment and continued. "I'd say it shouldn't take too long for to grow accustomed to walking around in control near you. My guess would be a few days." When Neko turned to talk to one of her new roommates, Tora answered Machi. You know, we should become friendly with her. She could help you overcome your fear of cats. It's not a fear! Just a uh... strong dislike for them. Yeah, whatever. Anyway, without cats holding you back, you could grow much stronger. O-okay, fine. I'll try to get along. Great, now we just need to find our roommates. Just then Neko turned back to them to say goodbye. "Yeah, I hope to see you later on." With a wave and a smile, Tora walked off in search of her roommates. First, she asked a reptilian girl. "Would you happen to be Olivia or Daniel, or happen to know where they might be?" The girl replied with a nod and pointed in the direction of another girl cradling an owl. "Heard her say her name was Olivia." She said with a hiss. Thanking the girl, Tora walked over the owl girl. Shouting would have been easier to find them. I didn't feel like shouting at the moment. Now in front of Olivia, Tora smiled. "So your Olivia, right? I'm Tora Yuiro and with me is Machi Beylarne."

At first, Sammie was lost. Everyone was moving to find their dormmates... but Sammie had no idea who "Kent" or "Dezoiewjiojeqoiq" was. That was, until someone with
called her name. Sammie looked in the direction of where she heard her name. She hopped off her seat and slung back on her backpack, quickly finishing her red bean bun. The girl who called her name was a tall woman with strange horns and strange eyes. Oh, a Tiefling. They were pretty interesting, in Sammie's opinion, and she had done a bit of studying on them. Apparently not all of them were horrible people, since their appearance and stuff was all hereditary. So this was.. Dezzie. She had cool hair, actually. Sammie felt her own brown locks. Her parents would never let her hair be any other colour but all natural earthy brown... ah, but Dezzie's hair was also naturally that way, wasn't it?
"I'm Samantha!" Sammie exclaimed, fast-walking up to Dezzie. "You must be Dez-" Ah shit, what was her full name? Fuck it. "Dezzie! Now where's Kent?"

It didn't take long for Treyse to reply to her question. Staring intently at his strange eyes, Alice listened as he told her and the other two girls about monsters, dark entities and something called "The Change". Honestly, it sounded like a horror story to her, though she wasn't going to say anything, obviously. After his explanation, the boy offered to tell her more if she was interested. Alice smiled and nodded. Knowledge was always a good thing: no matter what, there was always an off chance it could be used to aid their rebellion. The black-haired girl opened her mouth to speak (“That would be great”, she wanted to say), but she was cut off by the albino. Her statement was a little violent and Alice raised her eyebrows when she apologized. The girl must not be used to social interactions, huh?

Raein was her name. It was a pretty name, and it suited her mysterious aura. Her voice dropped to a whisper when she spotted the Headmaster, and Alice turned her head to look at him. He surely was getting impatient. His speech began not long after. It sounded rather boring until he said that dorms were going to have a mix of genders. Well, that was impressive. They were all teenagers, the headmaster surely knew what could happen, right? Right? He couldn't be that dense. Alice let herself entertain the idea of sharing a room with Al, and some poor other soul, but that was surely not going to happen. Apparently, roomates were decided based on the personality check they had to do when applying, and both of them were like two sides of the same coin. If it were her school, she would match entirely different people together to force them to stretch their comfort zones.

Dorm Suite 704 was to be her home for the rest of the year. She was paired with a girl named, uh, Bapple Dinnerworthy and... fuck. Just her fucking luck, to be paired with Rosete'. She turned just in time to see her all over Al, probably trying to tempt him with words. Alice felt her blood boil. Although she was good at keeping her emotions at bay whenever she used her abilities, Rosete' was an entirely different story. They had never gotten in a fight per se, but there was a strong dislike between the two of them. Poor Bapple. She was going to get caught up in the middle of it. Alice turned around, keeping a calm expression on her face. This was all part of the mission too, wasn't it? A terrible shout then made her ears ring. She found the source to be the comedy girl that had failed before. She apparently was calling out for her and Rosete'. Her enemy suddenly seemed like the best part of their dorm arrangement.

I'm here!”, Alice shouted back, not as loud as Bapple. She didn't want the rest of the students to hear her roommate screaming again. She turned to everyone she had been talking to and gave them a smile. “Well, it was nice to meet you. Treyse, I'd love to know more. Raein, Sammie, good luck.” And with that she got up, approaching the weird girl that was not at all far from her. “Bapple?” She asked the moment she was close enough. “I'm Alice, your new roommate. Nice to meet you.” Alice smiled at the girl. Even though she was a little obnoxious and loud, she seemed to be sweet. Deep down.

Headmaster Alvenio Alvicio
As I was obsering the crowd, I was handed some papers. Naturally, I took a glance at it, and it was for a student who was accepted that I forgot to assign a dorm for. So I then said, "Wait a momment, this just in. Congratulations Damien, you don't have to live in a dorm anymore." As behind me, a projector would appear with updated information. Dorm Suite 702: Alfred Braxden Ghost Toast Ghost Toast , Akemi Naomi poi poi , [OPEN SPOT]. I'd say this while looking at Damien and Alfred. I didn't really want to pair a teacher with a student at first, but I didn't exactly want to leave the poor kid alone. So I felt as if I had to give him somebody, instead of nobody.

I would then rally everyone back to talk about what will be going on in class. "Now then, may I have everyone's, hopefully, undivided attention? Yes? No? Good." Behind me, the same projector would then... project, the schedule. "Alright, since we're a bit lacking on teachers, a shame, I must add, this is a modified schedule that focuses on perfecting skills you have, and learning some new tricks!"

5:00PM-6:30PM Dinner & Free Period
6:30-10:30PM Group Quest
10:30 Dismissal

Footnote: There are 3 Minute Passing Periods between ALL classes.

Once more, I took a deep breath. Saying a long schedule is tiring. "Anyhow, the classes you have to sign up for, is self explanatory. All you have to do to join is notify the teacher to join. Note that you can only take two of the 7 Focus Training Classes. So choose wisely," I'd say. "Also, I must add that today's quest is more less than a quest, but an introduction to quests, and about why we need this as part of our ciriculum. As by imperial decree by our King of Malvstron, since he was tired of sending the constabulary with dealing with crime... He wanted me to train up some warriors who would be crime-fighting machines. More or less."

I would also then transition to clubs, as the slideshow behind me switches slides. "We also have many clubs here to offer here at Altissa. But, as of now, we have no leaders nor any members of any clubs. As such, by school policy, they are disbanded. However, if you'd like to start up some new clubs, inform me of your ideas, and I can get the ball rolling for you."

After that, I would also then switch to a more... political slide. As internal politics is kinda a big deal here in Altissa, as it was when I spent years running this school. "In this school, we have a political system. But as of late, it hasn't been doing a good job. So we're now doing a do-over of the student body government. A constituion for the government itself msut be rewritten, budgets and funding must be set, and we have many positions open.

Open Political Positions

School President [Appoints Vice President]
School Treasurer
School Speaker of the House
5 Congressmen

If you're interested in running and have time to waste on the more political aspect of the school, which there is, you can inform me if you're interested. Note that you get to skip one Focus Training Class for government meetings and discussions. Lucky you!" I finally got through all I pretty much had to say, I explained all there is. "Now then, are there any questions?"

"This... This is it!!" Naomi screeched happily as she stood infront of the school, Altissa. Around her were people who gave her weird looks but she didn't pay any mind. They were all supernaturals, after all! They had looked at her! There were many different kinds of species there, ranging from vampires sitting with their parasols to fairies floating around with their super cool glittery wings! Or maybe they weren't as glittery as Naomi made them out to be, but still. They existed, and they were all in the blonde girl's sight!

A lady that had been trying to get Naomi's attention for the past 10 minutes had finally succeeded in doing so and handed her a pamphlet, telling her that she was late and the dorms had probably already been announced by then. The young girl didn't seem to pay any attention to that part, as she was too busy marveling over the piece of paper that was in her hands.

"This is so COOL!! It's a paper thingie from the one and only Altissa Academy! I bet it has traces in magic in it, or something! Ne, ne, lady! What does it do?!" The overly-excited female asked eagerly, waving it around and searching through it's contents. The lady sighed and took the pamphlet from the average girl's hands and gave her a look. "It's a normal pamphlet. No magic, no special witch-craft material, nothing. It's a piece of paper with printed text on it. If you wanna see magic, I'd hurry up and get inside the building! First year here, right?"

"You bet! And that's okay, I guess they were just saving their magic energy for more important things ~ ♪! Hey, lady, what's your name?? Are you magical??"

"Ah, don't mind that–If I ever run into you later I'll tell you. But hurry and go! They might dismiss everyone from the auditorium!"

"Noo! Okay, I'll see you later, lady! Bye bye ~ ♪"

It took awhile for Naomi to actually reach the auditorium as she peeked through everything on the way there. The hallways were really fancy in comparison to her old, normal school back on the lsland of supposedly normal humans–which only made her even more eager to explore the place. However, not wanting to miss out on seeing who she would have classes with, she decided to go to the auditorium and finish exploring later.

The doors slammed open and in came the one and only Naomi, who gaped at everyone who was in the room. "WOOOAH! Everyone here is so hecking awesome! And is that an owl I see over there?? That guy has wings!" The enthusiastic fangirl whisper-yelled, glancing around at the unique faces that were all around the large room.

The girl came to realize that everyone was moving around to form groups that looked like groups of three or four. What were they doing? Was this what the lady from before meant by being late? It sure seemed like she was one of the last to arrive, with the headmaster looking like he already started speaking and the students shuffling about. What am I supposed to do?! Before she had come into the auditorium she heard someone speak her name and say something about a new arrangement in the dorms, but what was everyone doing? Who was this Alfred person she would be spending her school days with? She made sure to keep note that she should be on time to everything because her current situation wasn't ideal–she was confused as all hell.

Sammie was extremely relieved. Why? Because along with the Illusions class, there was a Warfare class! Sammie was almost sure that if she would even have classes, they'd all be illusion classes. As for the other classes that she had to take... they were okay. Sammie's eyes looked at the Physical Education class on the list. Her hand went into her pocket, fingers grasping a folded up slip of paper in there. Her parents had wrote a note asking her to not take part in any physical activity. Yeah, they were very overprotective. Sammie would love to throw the paper away, but she definitely couldn't. Her mom had said that if she found out that Sammie had thrown the slip away, she would draw Sammie out of the school. And if Sammie was drawn out of the school, then her mission would have failed and- Sammie didn't want to think any more about it. Then someone came in... very late. She seemed flamboyant. Eccentric. Extremely fun. And she looked friggin adorable! She seemed harmless, but Sammie had learned long ago that the harmless appearing ones were the ones you had to be careful around. Sammie looked back at the projection in the back. She sort of wanted to join the school political party... but knowing politics very well, Sammie decided against that. Albert or Alice could do that if they wanted some "advantage at finding their objective" or whatever. Sammie just wanted to learn. The short girl looked over at Dezzie with a cheerful smile.
"What focus classes do you plan on taking?" she asked in a quiet tone.

He had dear friends who died during their training, and that left an impact on Treyse. That was one of the reasons why he worked so hard, was in order for their deaths to not be in vain. Though he did agree that he rambled on too much, Treyse was usually to the point, maybe it was the different environment he was in. "I'll keep that in mind, Raein." Though oddly, Treyse's face barely showed any emotion, maybe it was due the mutations? Regardless, Treyse had a less favorable view of Raein now.

Then the headmaster read the list of dorm assignments, and much to Treyse's surprise Raein was his dorm mate, along with a Elucid Romulus Lupin, whoever that was. Looking back at Raein, Treyse shook his head slightly in annoyance and let out a small sigh. Walking up to her, Treyse added, "So we're dorm mates apparently. I can't say I look forward to living with you, so let's keep to ourselves." The girl named Alice said goodbye to him and two other girls, in which Treyse replied, "You too Alice. Well that's good to hear, until next time." Treyse wasn't really to keen with trying to find the third dorm mate so he decided to get up and walk out of the auditorium, when he noticed something out of the corner of eye.

To his left was a tall, muscular, albeit gorgeous looking woman, and she was introducing herself to the dark haired boy who ridiculed the girl who couldn't tell good jokes, and a pink haired girl. The thing that alarmed Treyse was the girl smiled and showed fangs, definitely a warning sign, then her eyes flashed. Treyse read about Vampires, along with accounts from the seasoned and experienced Hexers, that their eyes flash when they're about to hypnotize a non-vampire. Seeing this Treyse got up as nonchalantly as possible and started walking towards the pink haired girl. Stopping right next to her, he said only loud enough for her to hear, "Be careful who you perform your parlor tricks in front of. Not all of us are as ignorant as the rest in this room." Treyse then stared down the vampire girl, his cat like eyes piercing straight through her; showing her he wasn't joking around.

Rokku

Rokku's eyes turned towards a white haired boy with a scar over his face. Seeing the boy waving at him made Rokku secretly relieved, relieved that someone had answered his call, otherwise he'd look silly after calling out so loudly.

With a brisk pace, Rokku walked towards the boy and came next to him.

"Please to meet you. As you may have heard, I am Rokku. Who might you be? Mister Kaiden Alemark? Or perhaps Mister Flash Cobalt?"

But before these questions were answered, Rokku's attention had been called towards the principle who then announced the schedules they'll be abiding to during their stay here in this school.

"Illusion... Warfare..."

He read the words slowly, haven't not quite mastered the alphabetic of this land and was still largely confounded by the many exceptions of rules applied to certain words. Regardless, those two caught his eyes the most amongst the listed lesson that he had to chose from. Of course, if he could, he'd take all of them, if it makes him better than he is now, he'd like to master as much as he could. However, there's a limit to what one can do, and there's so little time to even accomplish those. For now Rokku had decided his focus, but who knows, perhaps if he find time for it, he'll be inclined to pick something up.

"Hera? You know I met..."The Amazon turned her gaze to Rosette, a gentle gin on her lips. A feeling began to wash over her, almost as if she had partake of too much ale. The rest of her words died on her lips as her mind struggled to fight the fog quickly enveloping it. What was going on? It was a valiant effort, but her skills were not in the ability to find off mind magic. There was no such thing on the Amazonian isle. The former Amazonian princess really had had no idea of the danger she had placed herself in when she had left her tribe.

Amynomene's stance relaxed as she finally succumbed to the hypnosis, all life and vibfance void from her eyes. It was a good thing her body remained standing; it would have been difficult to explain to onlookers why she just plummeted to the ground. To be honest, this state was the closest she had been to true relaxation even if her personality made it seem like she was never stressed. No worries about the future, no fears on if the disease her mother had was hereditary or poison, no questioning if setting the burden of the tribe squarely on her sister's shoulder had been the right thing to do... she was just existing.

Alfred smiled and thought "All according to plan,". He then grabbed her arm and sat her down. He then turned to Rose and gave her a thumbs up. He then whispered to her "You are now my servant. The only purpose of your existence is to serve me. You love to please me and it brings you joy. Now, how about you lead me to your office and fix me some tea?". He then turned to Rose and said "I need her alone, K? Don't tell anyone in the group yet, got it?". He then got up

Neko

After sitting down with her roommates, Neko noticed the silent from the final boy, so she was about to started a conversation when the headmaster came up with academic and political stuffs. Neko gave all her attentions while silently listened to all of that. After the long explanation ended, she thought about what class she would take. Neko's innate magics didn't belong to any categories listed by the headmaster and she didn't interest in any particular one. According to her father's instruction, taking the same optional subjects as her roommates was the most optimal choice, so Neko decided to do exactly that. She turned to both of her roommates, asking

"Guys, do you have any focus class you're interested in?"

While waiting for replies, she then considered about some other things. Sure, she had some personal interests in certain clubs, but then there were those open political spots. Neko was so fascinated by the idea that she could devote herself to help promoting others' well-being, so she decided that she would spend her time in student council rather than a club room. With that settled, Neko then moved on to the position. She hate complicated stuffs, so a Treasurer would be a No with a capitalized N. Neko also didn't think she had enough charisma and insight required to be a good Speaker, and while a President sounded like the most fitting spot for someone with her motives, she didn't have a Vice President in mind yet. Cursed herself for heading straight to the seat instead of walking around and socializing more as she planned before this morning, she decided to go with just a congressman. Neko then tried to recall the line her father boasted a lot and said to made him instantly accepted into a council during his school time despite being a 1st year transfer student. Ah, she remembered it. Neko then got up from her seat and walked to the space in front of stage. She said to the headmaster on the stage "Excuse me, sir" before turning to face all people in the auditorium. She then gave a bow before announcing loudly and confidently.

"Hello everyone, my name is Neko Asami! I admit that I'm new to Altissa and still don't know much about this beautiful school. However, it's because I'm fresh that I have fresh ideas to make our beloved school better! I promise to try my best for our school, so please let me be your School President!!"

Neko nailed it, and forgot to change the most important word. Think of it again, why would a mere congressman need that sort of speech in the first place!!? No matter how she looked at it, that was an actual President's speech...

Dezryith's eyes lit up slightly as the High-Magister went into detail about the various classes and other activities available to the students at the school, but not before she was momentarily stunned by the overwhelmingly familiar approach by one of her roommates; specifically Samantha Smith. Dez was grateful the School's leader spoke when he did, otherwise she surely would have said something regarding Sammy's appeared age on impulse. "Hmm," she thought for a moment, considering the options, ultimately her choice was really quite straightforward. "Dark Arts training and Miliary Warfare and Tactics." She answered with a nod, before allowing a smile to tug at her face. Undoubtedly she was most interested in the Dark Arts, as the territory was entirely new and taboo to her, the Tiefling extensively modified the use of such magic to the point where it was something else entirely, now she would witness it's true nature, a terrifyingly exciting prospect.

Samantha appeared to be... young, but she was Dez's roommate now. It would be logically and strategically smart to remain on good terms with her, or at least... try. "It's nice to meet you, Sammy!" Dez said warmly with a grin splitting her face, arm extended for a handshake. She didn't particularly mind the nickname 'Dezzy', in-fact it wasn't half bad. Which is precisely why she decided to assign the girl a similar nickname. However her attention was briefly snatched by the humble speech of a new arrival, a speech which felt so forced Dezryith found herself cringing awfully. If she applied Tiefling politics to Altissa, then the speech was simply a power-grab, an early, insincere, impression of someone wishing to play High Mag- uh, 'President'. Personally Dez had little interest in the political structure, though that didn't mean she was opposed to getting involved.

Flash Cobalt

From the moment the Headmaster walked out onto the stage, Flash simply sat quiet. He was a bit bored with just sitting down and waiting for something to happen. Several more students had come in before the Headmaster's arrival, and the auditorium had begun to get rowdy. Thankfully, the Headmaster managed to get his words across regardless.

He very simply stated the rooms that all the students would be staying in, and who their roommates would be. Flash's roommates in particular were one Kaiden Alemark and a Rokku. He wasn't familiar with the latter name, but he was sitting diagonally behind the former so he was pleased with the fact that he would simply have to hop a seat forward. In terms of actual roommates, Flash didn't really care who they were. At the end of the day he didn't know anyone here, so he would have to get to know anyone who would be his roommate. At the very least he already knew who Kaiden Alemark was.

Joke girl from before stood up in the front and started yelling for her roommates to approach her. Flash began to get the sense that the chick wasn't so much brave as she was unaware of normal social conduct. She was entertaining to watch though, at the very least.

"Guess we're roommates now."

Flash nodded at the guy in front of him. He got up from his seat and hopped over the back of the one next to Kaiden as to sit next to the boy. As he landed on the seat, another student shouted aloud for his roommates.

"I am, Rokku! Mister Kaiden Alemark, Mister Flash Cobalt, please reveal yourselves!"

Geez, was everyone just gonna yell? There were only like twenty people in the whole auditorium, one would think it wouldn't be too hard to just go up to people and ask them for their names. Then again, Flash would probably have been too lazy to do that himself, so he wasn't really in a position to judge.

Anyway, Kaiden called to the other white haired boy, and he came swiftly afterward.

"Please to meet you. As you may have heard, I am Rokku. Who might you be? Mister Kaiden Alemark? Or perhaps Mister Flash Cobalt?"

Flash was sure that Kaiden was about to answer Rokku's question, in fact, Flash himself was prepared to answer it, but almost immediately after Rokku asked the headmaster began to speak again.

"How rude, interrupting our almost-conversation like that," Flash mumbled sarcastically.

Basically, the Headmaster went over the daily schedule. Normal procedure for an academy that teaches magic, Flash assumed. As the young man analyzed the words that had been projected, he suddenly came to a realization.

"Wait......wait! We have school until 10:30 with only two breaks?! Hell no, that's some kind of sick joke," Flash whispered to the two kids next to him.

The Headmaster continued on, mentioning the school's politics, which, of course, Flash didn't give a rat's ass about. At that point, the Headmaster was done with his spiel, and a few students started talking about the courses they would like to take, as if the damn Headmaster didn't just assign them 16 hours of school-related activities, minus a few short breaks, starting at 6:30 in the morning. It was at this time that some extremely small cat girl walked up onto the stage.

"Hello everyone, my name is Neko Asami! I admit that I'm new to Altissa and still don't know much about this beautiful school. However, it's because I'm fresh that I have fresh ideas to make our beloved school better! I promise to try my best for our school, so please let me be your School President!!"

As aforementioned, Flash couldn't have cared less about the school president or any of the dumb political positions. However, he saw this as an opportune moment to voice his displeasure with the recently announced schedule.

Standing up to his feet, and making sure he was standing with excellent posture, Flash began to talk, his voice deepening as it traveled the space inside the auditorium.

"Hello, I am Flash Cobalt. As a student of Altissa, I would like to voice my extreme displeasure in the grueling schedule imposed on us high schoolers. As teenagers, we need an ample amount of time to relieve stress and simply enjoy our lives outside the confines of a school. For this reason, I state that I can no longer stand by idly while we are forced to work to the bone, slaving over our school work. There must be change, and should you, Neko Asami, bring about that change, you will have my vote!"

He spoke articulately and confidently, though it was all just a facade to influence anyone else willing to run to make changing the school schedule a focal point of their campaign. It was quite unusual for him to use persuasive language, or try to sound sophisticated, but this was a great cause he was fighting for. Of course, Flash assumed the whole school presidency, as well as the entire politics of the school, was just some bullshit conjured up by the school's administration, as with all high schools. But hey, it didn't hurt to try.

Flash sat back down, a goofy grin having planted itself onto his face. He was satisfied with himself.

Kent still had yet to really hear a response from the girl when the headmaster began to talk once again. He had assigned everyone dorms! Great, Kent would essentially have to get along with. The dorm had better of been big, no one knew yet that Kent had a bit of a "problem" in his sleep yet. They'd find out soon enough though, everyone usually did.

Once the headmaster finished, Kent could already hear his name being called. Looking at the girl behind him and offering her a weak and somewhat forced smile, Kent quickly muttered,"Uh...w-we can finish this conversation later." before quickly getting up from his seat and walking over to the two.

He lightly jogged over to the two and quickly responded,"
I'm Kent!" as he looked at the two girls. They both looking drastically different from one another, but looks was never a big problem for Kent. He was about to say something, but the headmaster beat him to it and began to go on about the schedule. It seemed pretty straight forward, but Kent wasn't quite sure what classes he was planning on taking. He'd probably just think it through later.

As he finished, Kent simply looked over at the two and asked,"
What exactly do we do now? Do we just head off to our dorms and get settled in? I'd like to get acquainted with my bed." First thing Kent would have to do: isolate those daggers. The last thing he needed was for those daggers to start repelling. When they repel, they shoot off into opposite directions. The last thing Kent needed was for one of those daggers to find their way into a random person's skull on accident.

As long as these new roommates weren't annoyingly loud and knew to keep their hands off of other people's things, Kent felt like everything would be a-okay. Or so he hoped.

Kaiden was about to respond to Rokku when the headmaster continued his speech. He couldn't help but laugh quietly at Flash's comment. Kaiden eyed the class schedule with interest, he didn't really have the ability to use magic beyond his blood. Maybe he should take the dark arts class. Even if he failed that, at least he'd have some understanding of it and maybe it could help him find a cure. And he would definitely take the military class, he wasn't good at fighting, but at least he knew he could do it. Still, Kaiden couldn't help but feel upset at his lack of options. Which was stupid, he knew what he was getting into when he came here. Maybe he had some magic potential this school could show him. If anything he would have potential for dark arts.

"Wait......wait! We have school until 10:30 with only two breaks?! Hell no, that's some kind of sick joke,"
Flash whispered.

"Yeah, that does seem really long." Kaiden murmured back.

Although, whatever the quests were they did sound more like an extracurricular than a class. They probably would feel a lot less like work and a lot more like a field trip. Still, it was a really long day. Unless the school didn't give out homework, he couldn't really imagine being able to get anything done.

The headmaster started talking about school government and Kaiden began to tune out his voice. He wasn't really interested in that kind of stuff, too much talking and way too much responsibility. He could never handle being responsible for something that effected so many people, much less stand up in front of the school to talk about anything. Apparently, students at this school didn't feel the same way. A small girl with cat ears had taken the stage, politely asking for students to vote for her. It was brave, maybe he'd vote for her instead of just checking of a random name on a ballot.

There must be change, and should you, Neko Asami, bring about that change, you will have my vote!" Flash had stood up delivering his displeasure.

Kaiden stared at him as he spoke. He was a little thrown off, he wasn't really expecting that. Actually, as Flash sat back down with a big stupid happy grin on his face, Kaiden still had no idea if that had been the guy who was throwing sarcastic comments under his breath. He found the sudden shift kind of funny, Flash was way more confident then Kaiden would ever be.

"Maybe you should run for president," Kaiden whispered, laughing a bit. Then he turned to Rokku,"Oh, by the way, I'm Kaiden. You could probably guess that though, since Flash kind of introduced himself there..."
