Briya Tilah

Briya smiled wide at that, "Ohh! Good you're on my team then." She replied. She giggled a little at her blush and continued to smile. When she signed to her she nodded, I do. She signed back. You prefer using sign then? She asked, tilting her head a little. THe girl was definitely a curious being, something she'd never come across. And undoubtedly shy. She looked at everyone and decided to perk up a bit, "If your names are Maria and Ivis your team is over here!" She called out.

Ivis didn't like being woken up in the middle of the night. Sure, she didn't need but so much sleep, but that wasn't the issue. Getting up, she sighed and took off her white eye patch, substituting it for a black one instead. There wasn't much special about it, besides the fact that it'd keep the dim light in. Changing and grabbing her set of claws, she rushed down to the courtyard, now awake. 'I won't be heading back to sleep I guess...' She thought to herself as she arrived. It seemed that the new students were going to carry out a simple retrieval mission, while being divided into teams.  'Seems easy enough, now I need to find my teammates...'

Ivis began her search, but it was quickly interrupted by someone calling out her name. "Oh?" She made her way through the crowd while they divided each other up, noticing her new teammates. An elf, and a short girl with decently long hair. Approaching them, she introduced herself. "You called~? I'm Ivis, seems like we'll be working as a team tonight. I'm looking forward to it." She said, adding a smile at the end.

"How excellent it is to make your aquaintences," I'd say with grace. While I have the attention of those two girls, I'd then look towards the third, examining her. "Unless my common sense has been taken away from me, you are Yala correct? I have learned that worrying is not good for the mind. It dampens one's perspective and breeds worry-warts," I'd say, as if I were reminising. I'd then focus my attention on the twins again. "Both of you are like the petals of a rose, beautiful in their own right, but hard to pick over," I'd court them. However, before I'd await their responces I'd then take note of Yala's authoritative aura that she seems to emit. I'd keep that in the back of my head for later.

Luana Dife

Instantly the shadow hid behind Briya and held her arm as if she were the shield. It was an instinct to hide from others, despite this girl seeming somewhat nice. it still wasn't normal for her. Nice people and creatures. Seems this girl didn't know that Luana was a shadow. Most did mistake her for a darkened figure. After calming herself she revealed herself in the light of the moon. but stuck to Briya like glue. A tiny thing she was with bright eyes cautiously and curiously peeking at the newcomer.  "L-Luana....Luana Dife" She whispered out slowly.

Yumi and Yuni

The girls looked back and rolled their eyes and miss party-pooper. "Looks like we got a buzzkill as a teammate! Turn that frown upside down why don't ya honey~? You'll do us all a favor Mrs sourpuss" Yuni giggled as she poked Yala's nose with a big fat smirk plastered on her face. Her hearty eyes gleaming with mischief and pride. Oh this was bound to be fun! However she ignored Yala after that and hooked onto Xavier's arm while Yumi had the other one. "Oh you're such a charmer Xavier~" The girls purred pressing themselves into him. Attention whoring it up. "Ah, Ah sister~ I found this one first" "Naha! I touched him first! This one is mine~!" The girls continued to bicker over Xavier until they both got ideas. "Oh! Why are we arguing? There's enough Xavier to go around isn't there~?" They purred looking up at the boy with big puppy dog eyes.

Upon asking, he heard some muttering coming from a short statured person which sounded like they were complaining because he used the name Team B to describe their team. He heard little tidbits of what she said, something about not having a mascot, and from the tone of her voice she was annoyed. And there was also the expression of high disappointed she had when she crossed her arms that just told him she is definitely agitated. And from that he knew he was really not gonna like working in this team of four simply because of her arrogant tone.

"Team names and mascots have little consequence on whether or not we'll be able to correctly do this task or not. What matters is our cooperation with eachother, which probably won't happen since I dislike working with others. But if you still want a team name, that's fine by me. Puny." he said to her, adding the word puny as an insult for her being so short and because of that little complaint.

Phenel

"...For someone who speaks so much of cooperation, you're not very good at making friends, are you?" She asked, cocking an eyebrow as she crossed her arms. "And puny? That's a rather weak insult. Maybe you should try to get some sleep before trying again?" She said, poking the dark spots under his eye.

See, nothing new under the sun. Ot moon. The guy was the typical charmer type. There always were a few of them each year. And each and every time they managed to make her uncomfortable with their 'compliments' and flirts. This time, the flirting was directed at the other two girls, so she was off the hook.

Her time to analyze him was cut short when one of the girls came over and poked her nose as she called her a sourpuss.

Oh how easy it would have been to freeze that finger to her nose and see how she'd take to that. But she didn't. For now all the bright colored girl would have noticed was the temperature Yala's skin always was. Frosty.

The two of them were getting a little bit on her nerves. Sure, she could just freeze their feet to the ground and be done with it. That would surely get their attention. But it would not make for showing proper leadership skills. Just bullying. Something she most dearly avoided. Time for a different tactic.

"If you have so much time to flirt, no doubt your skills must be amazing." She slid her feet closer together and tilted her shoulders ever so slightly to match the attitude of her words. Bordering between sounding almost sincere and taunting them. She wasn't quite sure how to manage those emotions, but she figured it was something like this.

"The sooner we have this finished, the sooner you can go back to... you know... 'sharing him'." 'Within the limitations the school has set up for those kinds of things.' She added in her thoughts. Moving her weight forward Yala started to walk towards them, turning slightly to brush right by them and whisper the final punch.

"Unless, of course," she looked the two of them from their faces to their toes, and back up again, as if sizing them up, "you're not as great as you claim to be."

With that said she walked on towards the forest, not looking back, yet.

For now she had mostly ignored speaking to Xavier. She figured if the two girls came, he'd follow soon too. Though, now that she thought of it, perhaps it would have been an easier task to convince him to come along on the task and figure out a way for him to motivate the two... whatever species they are. She'd figure that one out later. Maybe she should have brought the Ice Voulge.

@Antqionette, @XxCharColexX

"Yes, I was never good at making these friends. Never needed them before, never needed them now. And by the way, sleep is the least of my worries," he said before taking a breath and continuing. "And bothering to give a good insult to someone like you seems to be nothing but a simple waste of time. Time we should be spending on thinking of some plan on how to locate these gems as fast as possible so we could be done with this quickly before it starts. And we need to have cooperation if we were to do that. Since we're supposed to be team mates and all," Euclid spoke.

A smirked formed on my lips. For a momment, I'd lose my easygoing personality, and it would be replaced with a more dark... sinister one. "Interesting, you talk to them as if they lack greatness. A shame... that you have turned tail and departed instead," I'd say cooly. As I'd see her walk into the distance. She didn't feel like talking to me anymore, but no matter. "...I'm afraid she doesn't have any intentions of keeping this team together it seems," I'd say, as if it were some form of gossip. I'd then look at the two girls who have decided to "hook up" with me. "My, my. I'm labeled a charmer, yet it is you who has persued me at first," I'd say in a cheerful tone. I'd smile playfully, switching back to being a mere puppy dog for others to use. "Perhaps it is I who must take... responsibility then? Oh, how the tables turn," I'd continue. "Do not be provoked by her words, as they are like the winds of that coming from a beachfront. Noticable at best, meanless at most," I'd reassure the two girls with my... specially persausive voice that I have given to me because of my race.

Yumi and Yuni

The girls swooned at his sudden dark tone and glared at Yala for underestimating them. Oh they'll show her to never mess with the demon twins. At his sudden gossip the girls wings and horns popped out as their grins grew wider. Feeding off of him. "Oh that feels good! We must tell you what we are! Your a keeper. Looks like we found our new power source sister~ He'll be perfect~" Yumi purred putting her hand on his chest with a big smirk. "You got that right sis! Oh Xavier stop flattering us~ ehehe~" Yuni giggled before nodding to her sister while having her arms around his waist. "Okay we're gossip demons. We feed off of others gossip about one another and love to start things ourselves. Our tricks and others reactions are absolutely hilarious hahaha~ But we would never do that to you~"  They explained before letting him go and running to the forest to catch up to miss Yala the party pooper. "Come on Xavier~!" They called with giggles and suddenly shrank into tiny chibi versions of themselves. Flying around Yala Yuni crossed her arms and landed on the girls shoulder. "Wohhh~ I am your shoulder demon and you must do as I command. Now become best friends with Yuni and Yumi. The most beautiful and best twins ever~" She whispered in Yala's ear with a giggle at the end. Her sister Yumi was resting on Xavier's hat laughing at Yuni.

Based on the footsteps that started to rush after her Yala figured they were following suit. That was till the footsteps stopped. Maybe they had the power of flight. Honestly she couldn't really be surprised in this school. She was about to pause and check over her shoulder when something landed there. Or better put, someone. Based on the sound of the voice it had to be one of the twins. Okay that shrunk the list down in terms of what kind of being they were. Flying, shrinking in size, not to forget the personality type might actually be specific to what species they were from.

There were a number of things she could do. Flick the little one off her shoulder. Freeze her into an ice cube. Use intimidation tactics and warn her not to mess with either a vampire or an ice elemental. None of which would likely end up in a useful situation.

Yala paused on the spot and let out a gentle sigh before looking at the one on her shoulder with a smile.

"How amusing. Quite useful, especially to spy on others." Her eyes flared up in their icy glow. "If you catch my drift." It was actually sincere, albeit she wasn't all that eager to pay them a compliment. But if they had this skill, why not use it for the task that was at hand.

"...My, my," I'd say, as with a wave of a hand, I'd materialize a mirror, which wasn't exactly real, but it did its purpose. I'd look at myself, amused as I'd then smile. "How cute!" I'd note, as I would then turn towards the plaza once more. "A shame I must take matters in my own hands again. Let us go find out what we are doing for our mission," I'd say. "I hear... it's going to be fun, to say the least of course," I'd say mostly as a joke, but merely testing out their nature. I'd then dissolve the mirror, reluctantly, I'd veil an illusion show us in our normal form. However. the illusion I'd put over Yumi was weaker, less effective. As on purpose, I'd let her be able to cancel it if she didn't like it. I'd then pick up Yumi who was on my hat, and I'd put her down. "Forgive me, I must depart. Try to make amends, sorry I'm not going to take you with me... but you two look a bit... inseperatable. So I don't want to do that to you both." I'd then suavely blow a kiss at Yumi and Yuni as with a bow, I'd disappear, traveling with the light to reappear not that far away from the headmaster. I'd take a few steps as I'd then ask the headmaster, "Hey, out of curiocity, what this mission we are doing?"

1st Month, Thursday, 23rd day, 6:30 AM, 7th Year of Sol

Two days have passed since the students arrived at Altissa Academy, the special midnight assignment at 12 AM had been cancelled due to the vast majority of the students not showing up for the activity. Varrus just assumed it was an odd year and let everyone go back to sleep shortly after with his apologies and allowed them to sleep in the following day. As it had the past few days the bell chimed to wake the students from their slumber approximately thirty minutes before breakfast to give them time to shower, change, and otherwise get woken up and down to the breakfast hall to eat.

--------

Shyilia

The past few days had been rather trying for the short girl, almost everyone there was taller than her by a grand margin and it really worried her. Though luckily Phenel was usually by her side so it wasn't that terrible...well..save for those Gossip Sisters as they called themselves pestering her about 'being a loli'...whatever that was. That in and of itself was scary enough so she usually avoided them like the plague. Present day sometime during the night Shyilia had made her way into Phenel's bed and was currently cuddled up to the girl with her arms wrapped around her tail as a blanket. The chime had done little to wake her and she just sat their almost silently snoring.

--------

Briya Tilah

So far Briya was really enjoying her time at the academy, especially with her pretty awesome roommate. Even if the girl dwarfed her by a fair margin she didn't make fun of her or anything of the sort, even apparently liking the fact of it. So she of course got along with her fully. While the chime hadn't waken Shyilia up it had woken up Briya, and currently she was poking Tanis in the cheek..repeatedly. "Wakey wakey snakey." She told her teasingly with a smirk. "C'mon, we still gotta get dressed." She said, poking harder.

"Fuck." was the first word out of the kitsune's mouth as she sprang up, the bell shattering her light sleep. Upon trying to get out of bed, she let out a little yelp as her tail was 'pulled'. With a quiet growl, she turned around... And sighed upon seeing Shyilia. Of course. This was the second time that she had snuck into the fencer's bed, and her normally razor sharp reflexes were dulled by sleep, thus she hadn't noticed. With a little grunt, she poked her. "Hey. Wake up."

Tanis

Tanis, however, would not be woken. The salamander's bright red tail snaked around from under the covers, wrapping around the elf's stomach and pulling her onto her back. Despite even that, she was still sound asleep, even snoring lightly.

I'd wake up from my slumber as the morning bell peals in my ears. However, I was half-awake since I only had a few hours of sleep. As I got up, I'd take a long yawn as I would then take note of my dorm mate. He was sound asleep, so it seemed, so I paid him little attention. At that time, I would then wave my hand, using my special talents, Stoic Mask, I'd force myself to be energetic and enthusiastic. With my forced adrenaline rush, I'd hastily grab my usual clothes and took a quick shower and brushed my teeth throughly. Within a few minutes, I smelled like a garden of roses in full bloom. However, I must note that the marks on my face didn't exactly... wash off. Perhaps I conviently forgotten where I got them. Or perhaps it was a point of character development, eh? However, I'd still notice that my dormate was still... dormant, or asleep. So I'd did the most polite thing, and wake him up! I'd poke him repeadidly, in a childish, yet forgivable, notion. "Wakey-wakey! Even though I don't know who you are, or perhaps it is because my memory has failed me, you should be waking up," I'd say. As soon as he would take up, I'd put my hands behind my back and give him a big, friendly, and mostly playful grin.

Luana Dife

2312b1504e90f7cf4323a6643f31d2dc.jpg

Luana swiftly got up and for the most part ignored her roommate, Euclid. He was quiet like her so she didn't find any care to interact. At least judging from his Souling he was the introvert type. She was still very shy but didn't mind hanging with a few of the girls here. She had become well aquatinted with that Briya girl ever since the failed mission. The guardian had no need for showers of the sort and simply went into the bathroom to change her attire. After doing so the girl stretched out her limbs softly and went to open the door only to be tackled and pulled into an embrace by the two girls she despised the most. The gossip twins. She was sure the only one who liked them was Xavier. The guardian knew pretty much all the names of the students here now, just like her siblings. She also knew a little about each and every one of them due to their little creatures that would visit her in her dreams when she chooses to sleep. Neitherless she turned invisible and wriggled out of the girls grasp before running away quickly.

Yuni and Yumi

The girls yawned loudly while cuddled up to each other before opening their eyes and seeing each other's faces. "Morning sister!" Yuni greeted getting up with a big grin and searching for some bright pretty clothes to wear! "Morning sister!"  Yumi greeted back doing the same as Yuni. Oh, today was going to be so fun! Just think about it! They had become such good.....'Friends' with Xavier and were planning to meet him at breakfast like always these past few days. Once they found the clothes they wanted they both took a shower and got dressed all while talking up a storm. Finally, the girls opened their door only to see the little baby they had come to love along with Shylia. Squealing the girls attacked Luana with big hugs only for her to freak and disappear. Both pouted "Awwwee my little baby didn't want hugs this morning~ Oh well, let's go for breakfast Yuni" Yumi stated before running through the dorms. Yuni quickly nodded and followed her sister.

Blake felt someone trying to wake him up and then heard him. It was his new roommate. He had just been transferred to this dorm room yesterday and had yet to get used to the... personality, that the guy had. Blake opened his eyes to see the grinning face of his roommate. "I'm up." He said a bit grumpily before disappearing from view. He climbed out of bed and entered the bathroom. After quickly brushing his teeth and whatnot he left the bathroom and went to his closet to grab some clothes. It was kind of nice that both of them could manipulate light. This meant either of them could have as much privacy as they wanted even if they were in the same room. After he finished, Blake dissolved the illusion and grabbed an apple. "Thanks for waking me bro." He said as he took a bite and made sure all his textbooks and stuff were in his bag. "I probably would of slept in if it weren't for you." He thought for a moment. "I'm super sorry but I seriously can't remember your name. I'm Blake in case you forgot." They hadn't had much time to talk yesterday, as they had both been busy with homework and stuff, so he had forgotten the other guys name.

Marionette looked at the big school, which she was approaching. The Avenger was currently worn by her in the form of a small red-black necklace. The building was impressive. Everyone else would surely be impressed or excited, but Marionette wasn't. She looked at the doors with her grey eyes staring blankly out of her perfect, pale face. "This must be the place." The voice that came from within her, as she opened her mouth, was disharmonic and sounded weird, due to it's lack of emotion. Marionette nodded to herself and then opened the doors, heading to what appeared to be a reception.  "Excuse me. I am Marionette. I an supposed to learn here."

"...Well, that's okay. My name's Xavier!" I'd say cheerfully. As I'd then note that he then grabbed his books and hastily took a bite out of an apple, indicating that he wasn't interested in breakfast. "...You do realize its only... 6:30... Right? Or perhaps you have forgotten more than my name, heheh," I'd note. With a flick of a hand, I'd make it seem as if my books were levitating and all that mumbo-jumbo. I'd make them disappear, however, I could make them reappear at a momment's notice and in close raidus. "Let's go get some breakfast!" I'd say gleefully as I'd prance towards the cafeteria, expecting him to follow along.

Shyilia pouted when she was poked and nuzzled into her tail more. "I dun wanna get up.." She whined in response and gripped her tail a little tighter. She was so warm and cozy and Phenel's tail was just so fluffy. She didn't want to move at all. "Five more minutes.." She muttered.

Briya Tilah

Briya didn't notice her tail until it was too late. She squeaked as she was pulled into the bed with Tanis. "Hey wake up.." She told her, poking her more. She sighed a little..this wasn't the first time it happened. Pretty much happened every morning really. She pouted slightly and squirmed trying to get free. "C'mon we'll be late for breakfast." She said.

@Mitchs98

The woman at the front desk looked up when Marionette spoke to her. The girl looked and sounded a little odd...but she didn't think much of it. Working at this school she saw all types, Marionette was far from the weirdest. "I see, give me one moment to get your key." She replied. She rummaged through some things and eventually produced a roomkey and a pamphlet of the school that included a map and such, "Here you are. You'll be staying in room 310. Breakfast is in twenty minutes the map will show you how to get there." She explained. "Do you need anything else?" She asked.

Phenel

"Shy, I'm hungry. I want to go eat." She said, crossing her arms. "Let go of my tail, please." She repeated with a bit more volume, obviously disgruntled. But hey, it's not every day that your roommate just crawls into your bed and hugs your tail for hours.

Tanis

Tanis grumbled something unintelligible, seemingly undisturbed by the elf's pokes and prods. She was a heavy sleeper, after all. She'd need more to be woken up.

Breakfast is in twenty minutes the map will show you how to get there." She explained. "Do you need anything else?" She asked.

Marionette tilted her head. The woman handed her a dorm key and a map, telling her the number of the room. Marionette would not forget it. "Are there rules?", she asked, tilting her head to the other side. "What do i need to know, while being here?" She looked around. "Why is this place so big?" Marionette shrugged and did not wait for answers. "Father said i should say thank you in cases like this.", she thought out loud. "Thank you, unknown woman.", she then spoke to the receptionist. Then Marionette turned around to left towards her room.

Marionette quickly found the room with the number 303, which was hers. She opened the door, using the key of course, and entered, looking around. The first thing she noticed was that there was a person in one of the beds, doing that "sleep" thing that humans seemed to like. Marionette never understood that. However, she remembered breakfast was up soon, humans seemed to like eating. Marionette knew no other races than humans, therefore anything that looked humanoid to her was a human in her eyes. She went to the bed, where the person was and then put a cold, metal hand on their shoulder, gently, but still forcefully shaking them. "You. Stand up." Her father had told her to be nice to her room mate, waking the room mate up to not miss that eating seemed like being nice to the puppet.

Blake watched Xavier skip down the hall as he swung his backpack onto his back and followed. "Do you ever chill out?" He asked once he had caught up. "Your energy seems to be huge." They exited the dorms and started across the campus lawn towards the cafeteria. A bunch of other students were also making their way towards the cafeteria for breakfast. Blake threw the apple core in a nearby trashbin as he passed it. "So, what's the details of your magic?" Chris questioned his roommate. "I know it's a type of light bending magic but what else can you tell me about it?" He was curious to know what Xavier could do, just in case.

Luana Dife

The guardian deadpanned, being surrounded by the twins anyways and she was far too tired to use her powers again. Plus she was really unstable. "P-Please let me go....." She whispered only for it to be unheard by the twins who were smothering her. They had managed to find her and now refused to let go whilst walking down the hall. Needless to say, it was very embarrassing. Now they were walking to the cafe for breakfast. Not that Luana needed to eat anything, but the leaves from the trees placed in her homeland. Though the school had managed to make theses leaves artificially for guardians of generations. Suddenly she heard squealing in those annoying voices as they ripped away from her only for the shy Dife to bump into none other than Blake. She fell on her butt with an 'oof' before looking up wit frightened eyes. Despite when Yumi fussed over her, her eyes did not leave the boy in front of her.

Yuni and Yumi

The girls had pretty much followed their little prey until she turned visible again and attacked her with cuddles. "Hiya~! Our little loli nearly escaped us~"  Yuni sung while squeezing the cutest Lil' thing. So many cute and short girls were here and it was honestly the best. "Don't worry our little Difey~ We'll make sure nothing happens to you~"  Yumi sung out while hugging the girl also and walking.  "What shall we eat today sister? I want a cute salad~" Yuni as usually started chatting up a storm with her sister. They were having a good old time until they saw Xavier. Squealing in delight they hastily let go of Luana and jumped in to hug him. "Xavier~!" They both purred nuzzling his chest. "Oh Xavier, good morning~ We have to show you the cutest little....KYA! My baby!" Yumi cried before flying down and bringing her up for a cuddle.

"My, my. So many questions!" I'd begin to take time processing it, however Yuni and Yumi happend to so rush towards me. However, I'd notice another girl who was standing there, whose clothes were tattered, as I'd assume Yumi and Yuni were cuddling her too. However, she didn't seem to exactly like that either as I'd see her crash into Blake. I'd look at her with a sense of pity, as if I knew how it felt for her. Not exactly what happend, as I like hugs in all respect, but how it feels to be targeted. I'd look at Luana with a solemn face, and mouth the words, You have my sympathies, at her. However, I'd regain my happy-go-lucky face as I'd cuddle with these two girls saying gleefully, "Good morning to you too!" Then I'd bring us down towards the ground and pop my head above these two girls so I could speak to Blake. "As an answer to your questions," I'd tilt my head as if I was thinking... "Heheh, the best magicians don't exactly share secrets now do they?" I'd say as a huge, friendly, yet-ever-so-obnoxious grin had formed on my face.

Euclid had gotten up rather quickly, and mostly ignored his room mate, Luana. She didn't bother him, and he didn't bother her. Just the way he wanted it to be. He headed to the bathroom first and took a shower. After that, he'd gotten dressed in his usual garments, his typical white dress shirt, his favourite loose yellow tie and black pants. Which he used his Telekinesis to get and put on much easier. And after getting done with that, the dark elf yawned a bit as he was up until some time late last night, which is typical of him as those bags under his eyes could only tell of extremely late nights. He'd headed out of his dormitory room and swiftly walked straight for the cafeteria for breakfast.
