Nila completely passes out, not coming around until it was time for there little group to continue moving.Eldwin got her cloak off and took her to a bed laying her on it. "Is she okay?" Someone asked. "She'll be fine."
"As opposed to some of us this heat Will have me looking like a cooked chicken." Pass sighed heavily and fanned himself.Eldwin got her cloak off and took her to a bed laying her on it. "Is she okay?" Someone asked. "She'll be fine."
"Right about now I'm pretty glad to be a Hylian." He said. "We'll wait till night before we going again. It'll be cooler. Then we'll stop at the Oasis to rest when the sun comes back up. And then it's a straight shot to Gerudo Town. Which Pass and I won't be allowed into."
"Unless we dress up." Pass let out a chuckle as he thought about it also glad to be going through part of the trip at night but as he thought about it he said "are you going to be ok going at night it gets pretty cold right?"
"I've got some Spicy Elixers. I should be fine." He said.
Pass nodded his head "good good I'm glad you're prepared." He said with a smirk.

Nila sat up and yawn stretching, she felt completely energized and hydrated after that long nap. Getting up she placed on her cloak and gather her satchel and staff. She let out a small sigh hoping she didn't overly embarrassed herself or made a huge scene, she always tended to get so weird when she become overheated. She for sure had to go ask for forgiveness from the two Ritas, hoping that her acting strange didn't scare them off.Soon night came and it was time to begin the trek through the desert.
Eldwin was snoring lightly. Seemed he had dozed off waiting for the sun to set. His sword was resting on the table beside him. He had removed the chain undershirt cuz it was uncomfortable to sleep in. Again she could see his scar poke out through the cloth of his father's old knight uniform which was now only loosely tied to his arm. The scar ran up and down his whole arm but it was worst where the cloth hid it.
Pass would pop up behind Nila and look over her shoulder at Eldwin "is he attractive I have trouble telling that for Zora or Hylians."

The people hurt and grieved the kids of their dear Mipha. The Zora champion who gave her life fighting against the calamity. It was clear that many blamed Hylians for this turn events. Nila was sent doing tasks that surpassed her normal duties as a guard(?) as they were shorthanded with the calmity. As she worked she heard murmers from the Zora around her then a voice. Eldwin's voice.
"Oh? Im just curious I mean the way you're staring means he's either going to die soon or he's attractive but I'm not quite sure which." Pass smiled at her as if he had stayed that the sky was blue and he was one of the fastest Rito out there.
Nila sighed things had change drastically since the calamity, everything become less fun and more stricked. Then there was tension between her people and the Hylians due to the loss of their beloved Mipha. They had been shorthanded that evening and besides her normal duties as a guard she was sent off to do additional tasks. She heard chatter and whispers coming from the Zora close to her. Nila ignored them, she was to do her tasks not stand around and gossip. Then she stoped what she was doing when she heard whispers about a Hylian. She quickly moved over towards the small crowd that was forming. She was on the shortside compared to the rest of the Zora so it made it difficult too see what they were looking at or talking about. But then she heard her name weakly being called. The voice was familiar and she quickly knew who that voice belonged too. Nila squeezed and pushed her way through the small gathering, towards the voice.
"Oh no no he isn't dieing not at all I would not be smi...um..." she stoped letting out a small cough. Nila stoped herself bitting her lower lip before she could say another word. She would not dare say anything more as she looked away a blush creeping on to her cheeks. "Um...young Pass...why don't you go collect Miss Cora...we should be departing soon"
"Just leave him." One of the Zora said. "No Hylian is worth this much trouble. Especially with what they have done to our Mipha." Eldwin couldn't hear him. He his breathing was heavy and his temperature was extremely high.
"I well not be doing such a thing! Report me if you must!....but I will not be leaving him to die, not while I can do something about it..." Nila yelled back as she finished securing his arm. Shewould not dare leave Eldwin out here to bleed out and parash. Sure he was a Hylian, but he was more then just that. Eldwin was her dearest friend and who he was ment more to her then which people he belonged too.
He awoke and winced in pain. "Agh..." He said. "The calamity. The castle.... so much death so much destruction.:
With a bit of difficulty and with as much help as the large Hylian could muster as he came in and out of consciousness, Nila had managed to move him to where she could tend to his wounds. When he awoke he was laying down, stripped down to his trousers as Nila cleaned out his wounds. She placed her hand on his bare chest and pushed him down so he remained laying down. "shhh...hush now Eldwin...you are safe... I know I know.....shhh.. need you to stay calm...." she softly spoke.
Her attempts to make sure he didn't sit up were unneeded as he couldn't even muster the energy to get up. "Father is dead. The royal family is dead. The knights are dead. Almost everyone who was in the castle is dead. I barely escaped..." He said. He saw the bandage on his arm. "How is it?" He asked.
"Hmm I may be young but I'm not blind although I will admit I'm not sure what exactly you were about to say." Pass gave her a piercing stare for a few seconds then turned to go get Cora however he called out "you never said he wasn't attractive."
Nila looked down and away from Eldwin as he told her about his father. The terrible news had become a huge blow to her as she had become fond of Edwin's father. She had met him years back after she had befriended Eldwin and he had been nothing but kind to her. She respected and admire the old knight, having spent my time with the two Hylian's, helping Eldwin with training, and even sharing meals. But not only the news of his father dieing but the knights and the whole royal family were gone, all those innocent lives that worked at the castle were gone as well. She knew they weren't her people and worse with the hatred the Zora had with the Hylian's right now she should feel indifferent for what had happened. However, she couldn't, these had been Eldwins people, his comrades. She lowered her head as she worked on tending to Eldwin's arm shedding tears for those lost souls.
Nila kept quiet, if he did not know what she was about to say then that was more than fine for her, and it could stay that way. She was a bit taken back by the young Rita piercing stare, what was up with this youngling and wanting to know what does not concern him. She placed her hands on her hips and narrowed her eyes as stared back at him until he turn away to fetch Cora. Having him turn away and start to walk away, Nila removed her hands from her hips and stood back up straight, glad to have the young Rita walk off. "HUSH! others are trying to rest!" she yelled back blushing at what he had called out.
Eldwin winced. "The calmity. It caused everything to break. Glass and stone sprayed everywhere. Glass opened my arm and the stone dug into it..." He said. "It felt like it might fall off. Still does."
Nila kept quite she didn't want to tell him how close his whole arm was to coming off. He was beyond lucky to still have his arm intact. "It won't fall off....and it will be painful for quite some time...but you can't give up on it I'll make sure you don't losse your arm.....ill search for a healer and have them take a look..." she reinsured him
