The next day started and Dan walked to school as usual. He hoped that he'd be able too talk too Kuro about yesterday.

Kuro stretched and yawned. "Yay...!" He sarcastically remarked. He got dressed and walked to school. He noticed Dan on his way there, and ran up to him. "Hey, Dan!" He skipped to a walk. "Hey uuuhhh...about yesterday...thank you." Kuro blushed a bit. He didn't know why, though.

Waking up early he started to train .After a some time he stopped and looked at the clock. "Time to get ready for school" Yukaze thought he took of his training wear and threw on his uniform, after adding his hat he left his room. 'Perhaps I should skip breakfast today so I can meet up with Dan to des cuss the midnight channel' Yukaze kept thinking as he walked down the stairs.

Raika woke up while yukaze was training she got ready for school. She stretched and looked at kotori. She smiled and and decided to make breakfast for them as a thank you . She made scrambled eggs, and French toast for everyone including herself. She had an appetite today and was almost done with breakfast when yukaze came in. 'Hmm....should I make a bento....' she wondered.

"Yea it was awesome yesterday. Today we are having a club meeting at Junes. You gonna be there?" Dan said asking Kuro.

Grace woke up earlier than usual that morning and, after completing her daily routine, headed to school. She noticed Dan and Kuro some way ahead and visibly relaxed. Even though she had known that they were alright, seeing them well in person was much more reassuring. She hung back, not wanting to interrupt them.

Kuro nodded and smiled. "Yeah. I'll have to be at martia-" Kuro remembered how he didn't have a class to teach today. "...I don't have martial arts class today. Yeah I'll be there!" Kuro skipped jubilee as he thought of hanging with his new friend.

Yukaze was surprised to Raika making breakfast as he walked downstairs. He almost forgot she had stayed the night, causing him to get thrown out of his own bathroom. He laughed "Im sure Kotori's gonna appreciate you making food", as he walked up behind Raika. He decided he could catch up to Dan if he had too.


As if on cue Kotori came down the stairs,"something smells good" she said happily. She noticed the breakfast laid out and said you "didn't have to do that Raika".

Raika jumped a little yukaze started talking. She looked back and said "yeah...it's my way of saying thank you..." then kotori came in on cue " it's my way of saying thank you for letting me stay overnight here" she said with a smile to kotori. "Plus I am almost done anyway"

Cyrus woke up and made his way to the Kitchen, "What to cook? what to cook?"

"But beware my new persona user friend. With great power demon powers come great responsibility." Dan said with a serious face but then it becoming a smile. "I'm just playing. We can't even use it outside of the t.v world."

Adara squirmed in the bed- woken by yet another dream. "Damn.." she mumbled groggily as she forced herself to sit up. "It's so cold...then again I'm always cold." Last night was a pitiful night of no sleep and bad dreams. There just had to be bags under her eyes. Nevertheless, she forced herself out of bed- though her legs felt heavy. "Shower..." she mumbled lifelessly, each step took so much effort. She exited the room and was thankful the bathroom was close by. She shut the door, found a towel and entered the shower. This shower couldn't even wake her up...

Yukaze smiled "Like kotori said your welcome here anytime, now I'm suddenly hungry". Yukaze sat down said thank you and started to eat.


Kotori laughed "I don't think he even eats my food this fast, must be really good" she sat down and started eating.


Yukaze finished his food and waited for his sister and Raika to finish so they could walk to school. 'Its surprising how much one extra person in this house makes a difference' he thought happily.

Raika finished eating and grabbed her things and waited for kotori to finish. 'So this is what it's like to eat with a family...' she smiled and started humming.

Kotori finished her meal "thank you for the meal Raika" she walked up and hugged Raika. "Even though it's only been a day,me and you are sisters now I won't let anyone say different; please come over often" she said continuing to happily hug Raika.


Yukaze got up to the door and turned around grinning, he was glad Kotori was genieuly happy. He waited for them to finish then said "Now Raika's never gonna wanna come back with you clinging on to her" Yukaze said jokingly to Kotori." Now come on let's go we don't wanna be late " he said seriously but inside felt very happy.

Raika wanted to cry when kotori said that they were sisters. She hugged her back and said "thanks kotori...you're a great friend...If you need help with anything... asked me...ok?" She then let her go and grabbed her hand and left the house with her and yukaze.

Cyrus had finished making pancakes and made two plates, one for him and one for Adara. He didn't think much about yesterday he only thought about what was to come, A doppelganger of some sort like a human's Shadow? Heh preposterous.

As they walked half way to school Kotori had to the other half by herself. She waved bye "See you later Yuki, Hope to see you soon Raika", Kotori walked off with a smile.


Yukaze started to walk with Raika to there school. 'Got to remeber to go to the investigation club today' he said to himself trying to keep preoccupied. He couldn't deny that he was happy walking next to Raika ;Yes she was cute but there was something else something he felt the need to protect, though he wasn't sure what it might be. As they walked a bit, He looked down a little at Raika he felt bad that he couldn't think of anything intresting to say, 'oh well she's probably thinking about kotori anyways' he thought shrugging a little defeated.


He looked around to see if he could see anyone from the investigation club.

Adara finished her short shower (which was nothing new for her, she was just a short shower kind of girl) and she groaned when a thought dawned on her. "Dammit...no fresh clothes..." Reluctantly, she picked up the uniform she borrowed from Raika the other day and put it back on. "I'm disgusting..." she mumbled beneath her breath, smelling at the uniform. "Ugh! I even threw up yesterday too!" she shivered. Going over to the mirror in the bathroom she found a hairbrush and brushed out her wet hair. "I don't suppose Cyrus has any makeup on him..." she said to herself a bit disgusted with how tired she looked. "I look like a nocturnal hermit now. Look at me...a lowlife..." she groaned again began to rub at her eyes - making them irritated. "Ah! screw it!" she slammed the hairbrush down. "Like I have anybody to impress anyways! So what if people judge me, I'm used to it!" she lied. Shaking out her hair like a dog, she stomped out of the bathroom. Today is going to prove to be an awful day, I can just feel it...




Forcing open the door to the abandoned house, a dog came running out.


"M'am is this your dog?" a police officer asked an upset brunette woman. She looked over and nodded stiffly, but the dog was the least of her worries. "Yes...thank you..." she held the dog in her shaky arms, swallowed and looked over at the young man. "How about my daughter? Is she in there...?"


After a thorough look around the house, the missing girl was reported not there and the woman began to panic.


"Don't worry ma'm...a girl whom lives in this house seems to go to the same school as your daughter. Perhaps she's a friend. Raika Sakurai, does that name sound familiar any?"


"I don't know.." the woman shook her head wearily. "My daughter never mentions any friends anymore. In fact she hardly even leaves the house."


A younger man stepped forward- he appeared to be in his late teens. "So~ we go and question the girl at the school. Simple as that." he said, his hand in a fanning motion as if this was all petty. "We'll find your daughter, I have that feeling in my mind- no doubt."


"So she's alive?"


"I just said we'll find her. I never said in what state. A lot of murders going around you know..." he replied with a devilish tone in his voice- this was just another one of his insensitive cruel jokes.


The woman began to panic again, following with an officer having to comfort her. Another officer swatted the young boy's head. "Way to talk to a worried mother, Hank."


Hank rubbed at his head with a smile. "You know I kid...it's the girl's fault for running away anyways..." turning around he began to walk away from the house. "So we'll just go to the school, simple as that."

Raika was happily walking with yukaze. She couldn't remember the last time she was this happy. She just hummed and walked right next to him. She is also surprised that she felt very comfortable walking alone and next to a boy! She would normally walk behind them or next to them with a huge gab in between, but she was walking next to and only a few inched away from each other 'I love this town...' she thought happily.

Kuro gave a smile. "Awwww, but I want demon powers outside the TV." He shook his head and continued onward. The school grew larger as they stepped closer. "So who do you think's next?

Cyrus looked at the time and finished his food as quickly as possible, "Adara are you ready? Schools gonna start soon, also I made you some Breakfast." He grabbed his toothbrush next to the sink and began to brush his teeth.

Getting closer to the school Yukaze noticed Dan and Kuro talking together. 'Should I ask what happened to those two now or wait till later' he thought thinking it over in his head. Suddenly he remembered something turning to Raika,"hey Raika did you see the midnight channel last night" he said curious. He wasn't sure if she stayed up after he tucked her and Kotori in.

Adara stumbled in, still rubbing at her eyes as if that would magically make bags go away (they weren't too bad just slightly noticeable but that still bothered Adara to no end) and she made a tired noise for a reply. Sitting down she began to eat her pancakes at a normal pace- which was fast for her. She was finished in basically no time at all. And who could blame her? They were really good! "Sorry..." she mumbled sleepily, followed by a yawn. "Good morning..." she rested her head in her arms on the table...she just wanted to sleep. Maybe I should play hooky today...but where? I doubt Cyrus trusts me enough to stay at his house. And I can't remember Raika's address for the life of me.

Raika was too happy to notice dan and kuro. She looked at yukaze and tilted her head "midnight channel? What's that?" She had no idea what the midnight channel was this was the first time she heard about it.
