Just High School (1x1)

"Math, room M2." She said looking up at him and smiling. "I have to get to my class now." Alice said while turning around and waving him goodbye. "I might see you later, if I fall asleep again." She said followed by a laugh.

"See ya." He says, and smiles at her as he sticks his timetable back in his pocket and leaves the room, heading to room M2. When he finds it, he heads inside, and sits down at the back. He wasn't great at math either, but he could at least read the numbers.

(Thanks :3)

Alice sighed. It was the end of the school day and she was getting tired, especially with all of the homework she had in for tomorrow. She walked outside and slouched her bag on her shoulder again.

Eric pulled his bag on his shoulder and shut his locker. He walked outside and down the school steps, as people around him pushed to leave the school. As he walked, he heard some people laughing behind him, and got the feeling that they were laughing at him. He turns, glaring at them with his cold black eyes, and they stop laughing.

Alice walked down the path with her headphones on her head listening to music, only to walk into someone very much taller than her. "Soooorry..." She said while looking up and realizing it was Eric. She took off her headphones. "Oh, Eric. Hi."

Eric looked down at the girl who'd walked into him, about to say something, when he realised it was Alice. "Oh, Alice." He says, a little confused, he looks back at the people who had laughed at him but sees that they had gone. He looks back at Alice. "Hi." He shifts his backpack onto one shoulder.

"Hi. Is there something wrong?" Alice said looking behind her and wondering what what wrong with him. He seemed different compared to before in the classroom. "Were my friends laughing at you? Sorry..."

"It's fine. It's not like you were laughing at me. Unless you are behind my back, which is understandable." He shrugs his shoulders and pushes his hair out of his eyes. He had wondered why he had black eyes before he had found out, but now he knew. He wondered if other people found it weird. Maybe that's why they laughed at him? Hell if he knew.

"I like your eyes. They're pretty..." Alice said while staring at his eyes and realized what she was doing. "I mean... um..." Her words trembled off as her face turned red. She looked at her feet and lifted her bag onto her back again.

"They're black." He states, raising his eyebrows. He looks away from Alice from a moment and smirks slightly, before looking back at her. He laughs slightly, "They're... Intimidating to most though, so congrats on not being scared." He smiles at her.

Eric smiles at her before he notices people looking in their direction. He looks away from them and back at Alice. "You seem pretty popular," he says, raising his eyebrows as he thinks about heading home. He really didn't want to, considering his mother would probably just ignore him as usual.

"You could say that. A lot of people hate me, though.... I don't know why. Want to come to my place for dinner?" If he said yes, this was the first time she would have a boy in her house. "I mean... if you want to..."

"You really don't want me in your house, honestly." He says, looking at her. He was flattered by the offer, but he also didn't want to intrude in her life. If he got remotely close to her, and she found out about him or witnessed the strange things that happened when he was around, it wouldn't end well for him.

"I don't mind, you know. W-well I mean, it's fine if you don't want to... um..." Alice started to blush and felt really embarrassed that he didn't want to come, but she supposed it was his choice after all.

"I- I don't not want to, you know? It's just... I'm not a good person." He warns her, narrowing his eyes slightly and kicking the floor with the edge of his shoe. Ah, conflict. He wasn't sure what he would be feeling if he could feel.

"How are you not a good person?" Alice looked up with a surprised look on her face. He seemed nice and innocent, how was he not a nice person?

"It's hard to explain." He says, shrugging his shoulders. It wasn't actually that hard to explain, he just didn't fancy saying it in public. "I've done things. Bad things." He looks down at her, putting one hand in his pocket.

"I don't believe you." She said sternly and crossed her arms, putting her nose up in the air. "You seem nice.... I could never believe you."

"Well, you should." He says harshly, glaring at her for a moment, and he blinks. When he blinks, the whites of his eyes go as black as night, the entirety of his eyes now dark. He shouldn't do it in public, but he couldn't help it. He scowls at her, then blinks again, his eyes going back to normal. All he wanted to do was scare her.

("dafuq m8")

"Um...?" Alice said, oblivious to what happened. She was looking in the opposite direction and didn't see a thing.

("U wot blud")

"You know what... Never mind. You're all stupid anyway." He says, now just trying to get rid of her. He scowls as he turns, quickly walking in the opposite direction to his house, even though he had no actual clue where he was supposed to be going. He digs his phone out of his pockets and puts his earphones in his ears.
