No one really knows when it happened, or where it started. Some heard about it from friends, some saw the news on television or on the newspaper. Some of the unlucky ones witnessed it with their own eyes. They just all knew it was happening. A zombie apocalypse, a tale of fiction, a wild nightmare.
Governments throughout the world initially did what they could to stop the spread by looking for a cure and by exterminating the infected. Local officials evacuated citizens and provided shelter for those in need. However, the spread happened much too quickly and suddenly. Eventually, power went out, and people had no way of knowing what was going on with the rest of the world. They found themselves stranded in a dangerous new life, doing whatever they can to live.
For whatever reason and method, you found yourself around the outskirts of a suburban town with some people that you've met. You might not know anything more than their names, but for now, they are your chance at survival. But with countless unforseen circumstances and events, will you truly become part of a camaraderie and create everlasting bonds, or choose to live as a rogue, fending for yourself?
