Hello! I keep looking at this area and think it would be really interesting to post some short stories here. Then I realized how easy it would be to post my character sheets here too. So that’s what this thread is for! I’ll add more as time goes on.

While I do have google docs for all of these, sometimes they’re a pain and don’t want to show to people I try to share them with. This will make it easier.

Please do not post here as I’d like this to stay just character sheets. But please if someone interests you shoot me a PM! You can find sample replies from me on my about page here on RP Nation.

Age - 80, looks 32

Hometown - Cacau Pirera, Brazil

Occupation - None, does odd jobs for money. Or goes into high crime areas and waits for someone stupid enough to try and rob him.

Race - Half demon. Born human.

History​

Van was born just outside of Cacau Pirera, Brazil. His parents enrolled him and his brother to be transfer students where he visited Washington State. He fell in love with the landscape and upon graduating, he and his brother moved just outside of White Swan, Washington where they both became game wardens.

He met a native woman from the local Yakama tribe. Her dabbling in dark magic led to her and her unborn child’s death. Resulting in Van seeking a demon to get revenge. He gave up his eyesight for the demon's power. He spent the next 48 years hunting and killing demons.

Personality​

Initial Personality - He comes off as intimidating. Quiet but submissive. Depending on how you greet him. The casual person he would treat politely but avoid speaking or interacting. Almost shy. Someone coming off as aggressive would find out very quickly he has little patience of evil people. He is stoic and reserved but not without humor.

Getting comfortable - Despite the brutality, Van is kind and gentle. Often enjoying talking to someone when he finally opens up. He will even joke on occasion, though usually on dark subjects. He is also loyal to a fault.

Abilities​

When Van accepted the demon's deal, he gave up his eyesight. Or rather his eyes more specifically. But he gained new power. He cannot see like humans do, but in a sense he can see. He sees living things as a silhouette of one color. Demons are red, humans a gray and animals closer to white. His sense of smell is comparable to a polar bear, his hearing to that of a bat. Both extremely powerful and sensitive. The more demon souls he ate, the more demon-like he became. Eventually gaining the ability to shift into a demon at will.

Appearance​

Van is very tall with a muscular, medium build. He is heavily scarred, most notable being the scars on his face. They look like they had been inflicted by an animal of sorts. He also always wears sunglasses that wrap around his face. Hiding his empty eye sockets. Mostly this is to not look so jarring and to try and fit in. His clothing is worn and often tattered or ripped, though one could argue it’s the style nowadays. Usually with a hood he can pull over his head to better hide his face.


Quirks - He does not like loud sounds, as his sensitive hearing amplifies it. He also tends to smell people when greeting them, another side effect of the demon side of himself.

Vices - something he keeps hidden from humans is his desire for human flesh. The more demon he became, the more it became like an addiction. Though he can control his cravings.

Miscellaneous - He speaks fluent English and only has a hint of an accent. His voice is very deep and gravely. Though he does keep himself clean, he has an earthy smell. Like pine and cedar with a hint of sulfur. Depending on the verse, he either had a black horse or a border collie, though most stories it’s a dog. He has a dog which he adopted, that acts as a service dog in public. A black and white border collie he calls Arlo.

Hobbies - Van enjoys quiet moments. Soft music and nature is his happy place. He plays the flute on occasion, loves fishing and hunting. Once upon a time he did also enjoy cooking. He likes wood working as well.

Pairings for him would be MxF. Any setting would fit him. (Historical, fantasy, modern, future etc)

Occupation - Zane has his fingers in many pots. He owns many business’, theaters, restaurants, and hotels.

History​

Zane was turned and thus does not remember his mortal life as well. But his life started as a farm hand on a wealthy apple orchard farm. He cozied up to the land owner's son, leeching off his status to boost his own. Eventually he was attacked at random, and turned into a vampire. The wealthy land owner’s son killed the vampire but couldn’t bring himself to kill Zane. Which he probably should have.

Zane used his wit, brutality and cunning to get everything and anything he wanted in life. In his younger years chasing war fronts to easily feed on the dying. It was during this time he gained an interest in dark magic. He learned all he could about the occult.

Personality​

Zane is arrogant, pretentious, selfish and dominating. If honeyed words don’t sway things in his favor he will always resort to violence, but only if it’s tactically sound. He only surrounds himself with the best in life. Finest clothing, wine, establishments and lives a very lavish lifestyle. Resulting in a very snobbish man.

But there is a deep sense of preservation there. He will stop at nothing to protect his investments, be that his clan, people in his life that have value to him or territory. He deeply values loyalty and honesty. He’s used to people not liking him so he plays up the role of ‘monster’, often lashing out at those who genuinely want to be kind. He’s used to people using him for his power and status.

But he can be very thoughtful, on the rare chance he likes you. Providing only the best for those loyal to him. When it comes to most things, he believes it’s best to do it yourself. Be this fighting, brokering deals or business deals.

He is extremely vain. His clothing are always pressed and cleaned, shoes perfect and shiny. His main pride is his hair, which is waist length, black and silky. He also does not like to be touched, despite secretly wanting affection and companionship. He has been known to break a person’s hand for touching his hair without consent.

Despite the monster he portrays himself to be, he is lonely. Desires companionship though he doesn’t know how to allow that to happen. Then again he’d deny this damn near to his dying breath.

Abilities​

As a vampire he of course has superhuman strength though this seems to be a bit more than other vampires around his age. He has some telekinesis, able to move medium sized objects. He can also shift into mist and use the darkness to move unseen. Though this really is limited to moving in shadows. No shadows means he can’t really use this power. He can also summon small flames, lighting candles or the like. He also has a rare ability called the clan leader voice or siren’s voice. He can use his voice to command other vampires to do anything he wills them to. Such as kill their loved ones or themselves. Though this does not work on others with the same ability.

Appearance​

Zane is a very tall and physically fit man. Well built with a muscular physique, waist length silky black hair. His hands are manicured with short nails, clean shaven face, dark brown eyes and a deadly charming smirk. He also has various tattoos on his pale skin, all wards, spells, and runes promoting strength, protection, and power enhancement. Mostly from witchcraft.

Pairings for him are MxF or MxM, though he was raised that being with men was vile and incorrect. He’ll struggle showing true feelings to a man, he’d still be in the closet, per-say. Settings would be historical, fantasy, modern or even future.

History​

Lutharian was the product of infidelity, one that shamed both parents as they were both of noble blood. Both were ashamed so neither wanted the child. He was given to an orphanage a few towns away. Once he turned eight he was recruited by the Holy Order. This is a sect of specialized warriors and healers who protect cities and towns. The Order was the only home he knew, though he does know who both his parents are. He sadly has no relationship with them.

He trained hard to become a squire. Taking his job serious and was promoted to paladin. Training as such until he was given the ultimate promotion to Templar. Paladins guard cities from foul mages, demons, undead and all manner of unholy creatures. Templars specialize in hunting and killing such foes. They are judge, jury and executioner. Something that was always hard for Luth to accept, though he did his best to comply.

Personality​

Luth tries hard to make his superiors proud, strives for that acceptance and acknowledgment. He comes off as serious and cold but this is usually quickly seen as a cover. Luth has a kind, understanding heart which gets him in trouble when he tries to understand why people do the things they do. Instead of killing them as instructed.

He had a just heart, following what he thinks is right instead of doing as told. Fervently loyal and devoted to those he cares for. But deep down he is very shy and quiet, especially if asked about himself personally.

His kindness is most evident with his horse, whom he sees as his only family and he is deeply bonded to.

Abilities​

Luth has trained many years in close quarters combat. He is very skilled with his shield and sword. Having undertook the trials to be imbued with light magic, he is able to use it in a manner of different ways. Casting shields and wards to protect against magic, summon holy magic into his weapon to burn his enemies. He can also heal minor wounds.

On a side note, he also loves to cook and is quite the chef, if given the ingredients.

Appearance​

Luth is 5’11” with a muscular build and sunny blonde hair that grows just past his shoulder blades. His pointed ears are shorter and a bit rounded, showing his human lineage. His eyes are soft green and he has a clean shaven face. His face is thin but masculine, some refer to it as a baby face as he tends to look a bit too gentle for the serious business he finds himself in.

Pairings would be either MxF or MxM. Settings would be fantasy, high fantasy or medieval fantasy.
