Personality: Zim is incredibly ambitious, but somewhat delusional. He has visions of grandeur, but is too incompetent to actually achieve them. He is actually a genius, but you'd be hard-pressed to believe it. He thinks of himself as great and powerful, and believes that everyone either loves him or fears him, when in reality he's really just kind of looked down upon. He is very spontaneous and creative

Backstory/Bio: Zim is a member of the alien race known as the Irkens: an elite, imperialistic empire. Zim, like many other Irkens, dreams of Irken conquest of the universe. He was an Invader: a military class that infiltrates a planet under disguise, discovers its weaknesses, and conquers it in preparation for the Irken armada's arrival. The Irkens launched a plan called Operation Impending Doom, which was their plan to take over the universe. However, before it even began, Zim went on a destructive rampage and ravaged a planet... not realizing it was Irk, the Irken home planet. He killed all the Invaders in his attack and stopped the invasion.
He was banished to Foodcourtia, the foodcourt planet, but he got bored and quit his banishment. He arrived in time for Operation Impending Doom II. The tallest, the leaders of the Irkens, in a desperate attempt to get him as far away from them as possible, gave him a "super secret and special mission" on an undiscovered planet off their maps, intending for him to drift in space forever. They gave him junk equipment to work with. To their surprise, however, there WAS a planet there: an undeveloped planet called "Earth." Now, Zim seeks to end the humans and conquer the Earth in the name of the Irken empire... too bad he kinda sucks at it.
Powers/weapons:
GIR:
Gir is a SIR unit: a robot given to aid Invaders in their conquest. Gir is special though, as he was literally made of garbage. He is incredibly stupid, terrible at following orders, spontaneous, and more often than not counterproductive.
Voot Cruise:
A spaceship. Not much to say about that.
Backpack:
A backpack which has multiple functions. It gives him spider-like appendages, which can climb up walls. It can, of course, hold things. It also functions as a life pack, and contains a bubble which can let him breath in space.
Goals: Total universal domination, and the annihilation of the FILTHY HUMANS
Other: He often has unexpected surprises up his sleeve. He can also engineer things within his base.
