Prince of the Realm of Dreams
Areas, Locations, Landmarks & NPCs
Below is a listing of current known Areas, Locations, Landmarks and NPCs, both People and Beasts. More entries will be added as more of the world is discovered.
===========================
Colony 9 Area
One of the two original homes of the Homs and several Nopon on the Bionis, this town was once small and quiet, relatively calm and peaceful before the Mechon War several hundred years ago. In the centuries since, it has become slightly bigger, and much more lively, with Machina, High Entia, and Mechai coming to live together with the Homs and Nopon over time. It is a thriving town, situated in the once basin valley where the Bionis' shin used to be. Now it is fully exposed to the wind and sky, experiencing the natural cycle of the four seasons with a vast ocean to the east and wide open range of fields, mountains and plains to the west.

- Locations & Landmarks
Business District
- Main Plaza = The main business center of the town, merchants of all shapes, sizes and professions can come here to peddle their wares, whether it be Armor, Weapons, food or other specialty goods. A large Life Shard - an enormous and  specially purified form of Ether Crystal that the game recognizes as a Save Point - stands in the center of this area.
- Gem Stall = A well-known place located at the edge of the Main Plaza, the Gem Stall is where players without a rare Travel Furnace may come to have their collection of Ether Crystals purified and refined into Gems and Ether Cylinders.
Military District
- Barracks = The place of residence and business for much of the Colony 9 Defense Force, this is where players who wish to join Guilds that work towards finding and clearing Dungeons may come to find a place to stay most easily without need of payment, and where most such Guilds will likely hold their meetings. A Life Shard watches over this Landmark in the center of the barracks courtyard.
- Town Square = A dividing point for the town, a spire-like town stands here overlooking the entire town, providing a central point for the area and standing as the connecting point for the bridges between the three Districts of the town.
Residential District
- Quiet Courtyard = The approximate center of the Residential District, this is the quietest place in the town, where players may purchase a home of their own if they have the money and there is a place available for purchase. A Life Shard rests at the base of a large tree planted here by the Nopon during the town's reconstruction years ago.
Beyond the Town
- Outlook Park = Located just beyond the town's southern gate and up a long series of cobblestone stairs, Outlook Park is well-known for the trees which provide shade here from the sun and for the romantic setting. It isn't uncommon to find couples, both players and NPCs, coming up here on occasion to enjoy each other's company. There is a small Life Shard here to provide a Save Point for those who need it.
- Scrapyard = A literal junk yard, remnants of long-since ruined machines, both of Mechon origin and of the making of the five races, have piled up here and been mostly blamed by the elements. While not much useful material remains here, there are still traces of viable parts for new machinery that simply need refining, and a fair amount of metal which can be reused to craft weaponry and armor.
- Anti-Air Battery 1
- Anti-Air Battery 2 = To the northeast of this cannon is the entrance to the bay and, from there, out into the open oceans.
- Anti-Air Battery 3
- Tephra Hill = This hillside path leads up from about a mile beyond the Colony's western gate, leading up towards the Tephra Caves.
- Cliff Lake = Located at the base of a cliff along Tephra Hill's south side, this scenic area is home to many Monsters and Beasts.
- Agora Shore = A beach located to the east of town, this Sandy short leads up to a grassy hill at the base of a cliff and would be an excellent sight-seeing experience - if it weren't practically crawling with Monsters.
