A) Self Bio-manipulation
A young Japaneses man born paraplegic is stuck living in a wheel chair. Until one day at a normal hospital check up, the hospital is attacked by a cape terrorist, Red Death the cape terrorist is capable of making perfect copies of anyone they touch and then having that copy explode with enough force to level a large building. When red death sends a clone to blow up the hospital our young man is stuck under the rubble for several days where he triggers awakening great power.
He discovers he can consciously control every cell in his body, even muscle and tissue down to the smallest fiber. This means he can change his body in absolutely anyway he can learn how. So with a study of medicine he can transcend normal human limits in every direction. If he can survive long enough and study hard enough.
B) A young father and accountant driving home when the end bringer leviathan attacks. The flooding and destruction of the city, leaves him in a drive to stay ahead of the water his life and his wife's on the line. Until he fails, the car flips and soon the water over takes it. He is saved, but not before his wife dies in front of him. Triggering him to become a tinker of cars.
He now knows absolutely everything about cars. Such that he can hear an engine and tell you what factory made it and how long until it needs an oil change, and what oil would give optimum performance.
Whats a single father, to do other then build a fleet of vehicles to help end the end bringers.
