Sorry, I'm just noticing that a lot of my friends on here will post or like something just minutes before but according to "last visited", they haven't been on for hours. Why is that?

Oh, that means they've signed in anonymously. It makes it so the 'last visited' thing doesn't update, making it seem like you're offline. It's just an option for people to have if they want to for one reason or another.

Oh yeah, I didn't mention it earlier but if you ever find a want to use the 'anonymous' option as well, you can only find it (I think, I haven't actually been looking for it anywhere else xD ) when you sign in to your account.
