Rori stood smiling on new years day walking into the living room "Rowan happy new years," he said with a big smile. The cat still obese laid on the windowsill it was
a beautiful day. The snow was sparkling and the sun was finally peeking through.

It's been a month since Rowan moved in. All the belonging were now fully transferred to the comfy apartment and things were starting to feel like home. At least, more home than her actual place of growing up.

A smile made way at the greeting. The cup of hot chocolate in her hands steamed in puffs, rolling up to bring the heavenly smell of a cocoa to her nose. She took a tentative sip, before deciding it was still too hot and placed it on the counter.

"Happy New Years, Rori," Rowan wished back, patting the empty space besides her on the couch. "Care to binge some cartoons with me?" she offered, making a grab for the remote. The television blared to life, revealing the latest episode of some cartoon Rowan doesn't know the name of.
