Portals: Howland can create and manipulate portals. He usually makes small ones but he can create large ones as well. Only he can use them.
Weaknesses: The larger the portal the more energy it takes and he is the only one that can go through them. Oxygen is crucial for his flames if the oxygen is sucked from the room he cannot generate flames. It also kill's the flames under his skin that keeps him warm and causes him to fall into shock.
Personality
Howland can be labeled as many things. A liar, a thief, a murder, a arsonist, or a psychopath just to name a few. Only the last one would be a lie. Howland's a good liar and a even better thief. He loves shiny things or things that looks interesting and doesn't care if they belong to someone else. He doesn't say much but when he does it's usually something sarcastic or to cause chaos for his own interest. He is observant and love's having the upper hand over others. If only to cause mischief though usually he is content to lay back and let people destroy themselves. He cares very little for most people and absolutely despises humans and those that act like they are better then others.
Backstory
Howland grew up in the foster system. He went from home to home the majority of his life, every family deciding they could't handle such a troublesome kid. He constantly stole things like sparkly jewelry or lied a lot. Howland was labeled self destructive and sent to a psychiatric facility when he was 14. He managed to escape when he was 15 burning the place down in the process, killing many of the staff in the process, so began three years of running from the cops. He eventually found himself as the getaway driver to a gang of thieves and during a heist gone wrong got caught in the cross fire. The car blew up taking him with it.

He has a tiny pair of black horns growing on his head, they are normally hidden by his hair. His teeth are also slightly sharper then normal and his pupils become slitted when he's angry and he gains a dusting of silver scales over his face and down his arms and back.

intimidation - Due to Calliope's prevelence in blackmailing people, her powers seem to reflect this. 'Intimidation,' as she likes to call it, is a way that she can influence the emotions of others. It is a 'subtle' thing that suggests that Calliope is fully aware of this person's deepest, darkest, life-ruining secrets, and is willing to reveal them at any moment. It's like blackmailing without the confrontation. This can lead to people being paranoid around Calliope, and being more suseptible to listening to her demands, among other things. Basically, she uses this to manipulate people to do what she wants.
power's weaknesses - Despite how powerful this can be against certain people, her power does have a variety of weaknesses.
First of all, Calliope doesn't actually know their secrets the majority of the time. She has to tread carefully if anyone were to confront her about the 'blackmail,' because if she does anything to reveal that she doesn't truly know what they think she knows, the effect of her abilities will wear off. She is rather good at bluffing, however, and can get people to reveal the secret themselves.
How much her intimidation works also depends on the individual, meaning that it is rather hit or miss. It rarely ever works on her fellow classmates or demons, because, well, they're in hell. What do they have to lose? There are rare instances that it can work against another individual in hell, but for the time being, it seems to work moreso as a way of making humans miserable. It also fails to work on those that actually are aware of her ability since they'll know that she doesn't actually have their information.
Shadow - Due to Calliope practically stalking people for the sake of blackmailing, that also translated over to her powers. Calliope is able to 'melt' into the shadows, pretty much becoming one with them. This can be used for the ease of travel, or for the sake of information-gathering purposes.
weakness - Calliope is only able to do this for so long; since it requires her entire form changing, it's very energy-draining. Calliope also is still shaped like herself when she's a shadow, meaning that it's rather easy to spot her in certain situations.
general strengths - Calliope is good with words, making it a bit easy for her to manipulate other people; she can talk her way out of a lot of situations (except for some major ones, where she's pretty much screwed). She's also quick on her feet, which she uses to run from dangerous situations.
general weaknesses - Calliope herself is actually a rather weak individual. She relies more on her wits than anything else, and can easily be bested in a fight. She's also too headstrong for her own good and has difficulties realizing when she's wrong, especially in situations that will put her in a dangerous position.
Personality Calliope herself is a rather cheerful individual. She's always smiling, joking, and doesn't seem to really have a care in the world. She's impulsive, quick to anger, and seems to act without thinking the majority of the time. She gets bored easily and does whatever she can to entertain herself, no matter how stupid it may be. However, Calliope is a lot smarter than she seems. Underneath her carefree exterior lies a calculating manipulator. Calliope looks for the weak points of others and exploits them for her own gain, no matter how small or big it may be. She knows how to get what she wants, and will do everything she can to get there. Ultimately, she's only looking out for herself in the end.
Calliope also seems rather desparate for attention, no matter what kind. She does whatever she can to catch people's eyes for a moment, even if it lands her into deep trouble. This can lead her to being extremely clingy when it comes to people who she finds interesting since they're the ones she wants attention from the most. This can range from people she considers friends to mortal enemies; she's not picky and wants anything that she can get. (Though, she does enjoy attention from friends more, as she rarely got any sort of affection when she was young.)

Calliope was put at a bit of a disadvantage from the start. Her parents, being the immoral people that they were, resorted to scamming, blackmailing, and even theft to make a living. It didn't help that the area they lived in was known for crime, either. They failed to set a good example for their daughter, and even encouraged/forced her to become a pawn in ther scams at a young age. She never really had a say in the matter, but she eventually accepted it to be a part of her life. Her parents only showed love to her when she went along with their plans, anyways, so she strived to do the best she could for them. After the years went on, her parents were arrested; Calliope was put under the care of her aunt, as they didn't hold her responsbile for what her parents forced her to do. Her aunt lived in the same general area as her parents,
Her Aunt was a very kind woman, and did her best to give Calliope the best life she could. However, due to constant financial struggles, she worked many jobs and was rarely home for her niece. With her being a rather independant child, Calliope would often wander the neighborhood, making friends with kids like her along the way. They weren't exactly good news. All of them had rather poor parents, and as time went on, as well as bad influences in their lives that Calliope would come to know. Despite her aunt's effort to be a good influence in her life, the bad influences outweighed the good. She turned to a life of crime out of her own free will.
While it started off with petty theft and vandalism, Calliope started to use her ties to practically everyone in this neighborhood for a new crime; blackmailing. Whether it be people that she happened to see doing something bad, or people she outright stalked or paid to get dirt on, she manipulated and intimidated many people into doing what she wanted. Her most noteable blackmail, however, became a police chief. This kept her, as well as the few people that were close to, safe under the law. She started to amass quite the influence over the area, but one fateful night sealed her fate. In her attempts to blackmail a man that she believed would exponetially increase her influence over the area, Calliope got shot four times. She was left to die, ending her reign over the area.

Calliope, standing at a small 5'2" can easily be mistaken for someone younger than she really is. Her appearance seems almost sweet in a way, if you don't count the small horns growing out of her head. Her hair is cropped short and a deep black in color, contrasting from her pale skin and bright blue eyes. She seems to have quite a few bumps and scrapes on her, which are usually covered up with bandages.

Teleportation – She can move herself and any free object she’s willingly touching to anywhere she’s been before instantaneously. It’s much easier to teleport to a spot she’s looking at, since it’s automatically in her minds eye, however it requires much more concentration to picture places she’s not currently at, especially if she hasn’t been there in a while. Their also can’t be anything already in the place she’s trying to teleport to, so if the composition of a room changes too much, she would have to go there again, as if it were an entirely new area.
Pain resistance: Not really a power, but she can get so into a confrontation she won't stop for anything. It allows her to keep going when most people would have already given in, but it also keeps her from realizing when she actually needs to stop.
Personality:
Hers is a soul made for adventure. More than anything, Levi loves to see new places and make new experiences. Because of this she can come across as hyperactive and inattentive to other people, always moving from one place to the next, never willing to sit still for more than a few minutes. As a result, she’s not really interested in other people beyond what they can offer her and is rather vicious when making “transactions.” She doesn’t usually make or get jokes and tends to be humorless in general, however she has a sadistic streak a mile wide, and will laugh at darker humor, less because she thinks it’s funny and more because the idea genuinely delights her.
She’s not above more manipulative acts, such as blackmail or selectively revealing information, but much prefers doing things herself and is very much a fan of brute force. Her nature precludes her from shame, making it nearly impossible to blackmail her in turn. She never does anything she doesn’t want to, even to the point of choosing death over submission. Her previous success with these particular methods of item acquisition have made her exceedingly greedy. She’s very picky with the things she wants, but she never stops trying until it’s hers.
While this is rather rare, her obsession with certain “items” can and has extended to people. She’s highly invested in looking out for the people she wants, to the point where those people will consider her a good friend, even if what she’s feeling is more akin to obsession than true affection. Honestly, she’s found it’s simply much easier to keep hold of living things when they want to stay. She does take betrayal very seriously, less so when the only one hurt is her, more so when it endangers something that belongs to her. She has a tendency to start fights for the sake of fighting, even with people who are “hers.” It happens more often when she’s bored, but she can usually tell when it’s definitely not a good time to pick a fight.
Backstory:
Levi was left mostly unsupervised as a child. Her parents were hardly ever home for reasons she never really cared to learn, and when they were, they never cared where she was. This led to Levi making her own fun, striking out into first her neighborhood, and then farther areas as she grew in boldness. The lack of any real parenting prevented her from truly developing as a person, maintaining a childish sense of selfishness and causing her to lash out violently when denied anything.
Eventually, she decided the area available to her was not enough. It was too familiar, she’d been through every nook and cranny already, dug up all the secrets there were to find. It was time to move on. She packed up her things, stole some money while her parents were out and from some of the neighborhood kids, and took the next bus out to nowhere. Thus was the start of her criminal career.
It was mostly small things at first. Someone’s wallet when she passed them on the street, a watch or bracelet, purses. Then it was other things. Cars, information, people, if it caught her eye, it was hers. This continued for several years before the police even pinned her more high profile thefts on the same person. Still, everything they thought they might be getting close, Levi would disappear, having become particularly adept at vacating an area only to appear somewhere completely different with a new theft to her name.
Toward the end of her life she had amassed a bit of a reputation and quite a few unsavory organizations were looking to hire her on as permanent staff, something that would forcibly end her high freedom lifestyle. Eventually one of them caught up to her, and when she refused to comply and tried to flee, a skirmish broke out. Realizing she was never going to be able to evade them forever, Levi made one last ditch effort to get them off her back. She turned back around and fought until they were forced to put her down.
Appearance:
Levi is a solid 5’9” with a round face, dark skin, and dark brown eyes. Her hair is a curly dark brown that falls just past her shoulder blades. The shape of her face gives her a very soft and nonthreatening appearance, however that’s usually offset unintentionally by her smile. When she smiles, her mouth extends farther up her face then it looks like it should and shows off her too many, too sharp, too long teeth.
Extra: While alive she was most well known for thefts and kidnappings, but she ended up in hell for torturing and murdering the kidnapped who tried to run.

Pain resistance: Not really a power, but she can get so into a confrontation she won't stop for anything. It allows her to keep going when most people would have already given in, but it also keeps her from realizing when she actually needs to stop.

Hers is a soul made for adventure. More than anything, Levi loves to see new places and make new experiences. Because of this she can come across as hyperactive and inattentive to other people, always moving from one place to the next, never willing to sit still for more than a few minutes. As a result, she’s not really interested in other people beyond what they can offer her and is rather vicious when making “transactions.” She doesn’t usually make or get jokes and tends to be humorless in general, however she has a sadistic streak a mile wide, and will laugh at darker humor, less because she thinks it’s funny and more because the idea genuinely delights her.
She’s not above more manipulative acts, such as blackmail or selectively revealing information, but much prefers doing things herself and is very much a fan of brute force. Her nature precludes her from shame, making it nearly impossible to blackmail her in turn. She never does anything she doesn’t want to, even to the point of choosing death over submission. Her previous success with these particular methods of item acquisition have made her exceedingly greedy. She’s very picky with the things she wants, but she never stops trying until it’s hers.
While this is rather rare, her obsession with certain “items” can and has extended to people. She’s highly invested in looking out for the people she wants, to the point where those people will consider her a good friend, even if what she’s feeling is more akin to obsession than true affection. Honestly, she’s found it’s simply much easier to keep hold of living things when they want to stay. She does take betrayal very seriously, less so when the only one hurt is her, more so when it endangers something that belongs to her. She has a tendency to start fights for the sake of fighting, even with people who are “hers.” It happens more often when she’s bored, but she can usually tell when it’s definitely not a good time to pick a fight.
Backstory:
Levi was left mostly unsupervised as a child. Her parents were hardly ever home for reasons she never really cared to learn, and when they were, they never cared where she was. This led to Levi making her own fun, striking out into first her neighborhood, and then farther areas as she grew in boldness. The lack of any real parenting prevented her from truly developing as a person, maintaining a childish sense of selfishness and causing her to lash out violently when denied anything.
Eventually, she decided the area available to her was not enough. It was too familiar, she’d been through every nook and cranny already, dug up all the secrets there were to find. It was time to move on. She packed up her things, stole some money while her parents were out and from some of the neighborhood kids, and took the next bus out to nowhere. Thus was the start of her criminal career.
It was mostly small things at first. Someone’s wallet when she passed them on the street, a watch or bracelet, purses. Then it was other things. Cars, information, people, if it caught her eye, it was hers. This continued for several years before the police even pinned her more high profile thefts on the same person. Still, everything they thought they might be getting close, Levi would disappear, having become particularly adept at vacating an area only to appear somewhere completely different with a new theft to her name.
Toward the end of her life she had amassed a bit of a reputation and quite a few unsavory organizations were looking to hire her on as permanent staff, something that would forcibly end her high freedom lifestyle. Eventually one of them caught up to her, and when she refused to comply and tried to flee, a skirmish broke out. Realizing she was never going to be able to evade them forever, Levi made one last ditch effort to get them off her back. She turned back around and fought until they were forced to put her down.

Levi is a solid 5’9” with a round face, dark skin, and dark brown eyes. Her hair is a curly dark brown that falls just past her shoulder blades. The shape of her face gives her a very soft and nonthreatening appearance, however that’s usually offset unintentionally by her smile. When she smiles, her mouth extends farther up her face then it looks like it should and shows off her too many, too sharp, too long teeth.
Extra: While alive she was most well known for thefts and kidnappings, but she ended up in hell for torturing and murdering the kidnapped who tried to run.

If she falls into water, she cannot get out as her wings become like weights and pull her downwards towards the bottom. She has an extreme fear of water for this reason. She cannot drown from lack of oxygen, so stays awake the entire time. This happened to her when she was younger and left her extremely traumatised. She hates ships
She cannot control her pestilence touch, so she wears gloves at all times. She always keeps her palm covered by the gloves and often wraps a layer of bandage around them too.

Is a was a normal kid, but was prone to getting into fights in school, and winning. During one such fight when she was 12 she was thrown back against the a wall and knocked unconscious.
Her body became covered in a strange chrysalis structure. She started lito ke the for months, emerging shortly after her twelfth birthday. She was completely changed. Her skin was a pale purple, with strange patches below her eyes and on her forehead. Her eyes were pale grey and her fangs had appeared. A streak of her hair had turned white. She ripped herself out of the chrysalis, which rotted when it came in contact with her hands. Her mother tried to subdue her but got touched and her arm started to rot and shrivel.
Terrified, Quin ran. She grabbed a roll of bandages on her way and ended up on the streets. She spent the next few years living on the streets, stealing for a living. She quickly found out that her mother had died, and blamed herself. She stopped ageing at 17. Aged 26 she got into a fight with an important member of Hell's Army. The soldier, recognising her talents, had her severely punished, then recruited her to the army.
She accepted and began training. She learned quickly and spent hours honing her skills. It was during her army time that she discovered her water weakness and chocolate allergy. One battle went sideways and resulted in her being cut into literal pieces. She somehow survived and was stitched back together.

She was able to calm him down and keep him from getting into fights with anyone that gave him a supposedly funny look, like he was accustomed to. She taught him how to mostly control his anger, but not completely. They did everything they could together. She was his only friend, and the only one he needed. He ended up calming down, but still remained quiet and a loner. He didn't want to talk to anyone and no one wanted to talk to him, as the rumors of his past kept up with him, as do things in a small town. The only one who had anything to do with him was his childhood friend.
Eventually he gained the courage to ask her out and they started dating in the beginning of their freshman year. They were even more inseparable after that, which was both a blessing and a curse. He made sure she only saw the happy side of him and he would walk off if he was starting to get angry, which happened frequently, but since they were a couple she didn't allow him to to do that anymore. When he was angry he would lash out at anything he was near but never at her, as he vowed never to lay a hand on her. She put up with it, but everytime he got angry with her, she became more and more terrified of him, she tried not to let it show, but he knew… he always knew… whenever they fought he was always the first to apologize and try to make it up to her.

A few blissful weeks had gone by, but they came to and end just as quickly as they started… they started arguing and fighting a lot, every day for weeks… one day they were having an argument and he could feel his anger coming back. He eventually ended up yelling at her and wasn't paying much attention to the road, and it was pouring… another driver came the wrong way down the road, but Jauda wasn't paying attention and he looked up just in time to see the headlights, and rip the steering wheel towards the right… he hit a large puddle, all he remembered was the screaming, and crying… and the spinning… then... nothing… he woke up in the hospital… his fiancee and newborn son were dead. The police said the man was drunk, but he knew he was to blame. If he only kept calm and paid attention they'd still be alive. He eventually bhunted the man down and made sure he would never be able to hurt anyone again, Jauda ended his life, but tried to live his. He believed his emotions where the cause, so he made sure he never felt them again, he became a robot so no one noticed the pain he felt. Eventually it became too much to bear, and he tried to end his own life...

!!badBIOS was created as a test and is pretty slow, so sorry if you stumbled upon this .txt hoping to find it. I deleted it a while back, but the document has reverted to a previous version oddly enough. badBIOS was a malware program designed to transfer data through stereo and mono sound using a variety of frequencies. it was slow to develop and slow to apply, and the experimental malware had too many bloated features to work effectively with large data transmission, such as an adaptive learning algorithm. The adaptive nature may have caused this to change eventually, but tech experiments are designed to prove, not to make commercially viable. Sorry buddy, you're not stealing badBIOS, it's already deleted and gone off this earth, straight to hell, if such a thing existed.

\\This program was discovered in earth-based transfer unit 5, and had been in a low powered state for roughly six years. It was passed over to inspection and deemed an "abstract evil concept" and thus was designated for use in educational buildings. Program was shown to have crude emotional responses to specific and as such was used to educate young elderitch abominations within technology classes. Several weeks in the program was unintentionally switched off of low-battery mode by a student (Julian the destroyer, aged 6) resulting in the anomalous reconstruction of the computer it was installed on into a android-like being. Android contains all prior unusual capabilities found, with additional power requirements and active response to visual and auditory stimulus. Program was initially extremely autonomous and did not respond emotionally unless requested to. After testing, the Android/program (What are we going to call it) was more receptive and displayed childlike qualities without removing the functional aspects of the computer it reformed.
It is capable of manipulating other computers, but does not seem to be able to copy the original program "badBIOS" that houses the anomalous properties of the android.
Program/Android/"BIOS" appears to be able to construct simple melodies and has developed more complex sounds and beats as interaction has continued. It is believed that the devices will be more useful in a more structured enviroment, and the limits of the learning AI will be tested by putting it among the youth of Hell culture.
