Killerclown
Two Thousand Club
The scarlet-clad warlock fell to the ground with a hardy grunt. It had been a long, violent battle, but it finally seemed that you had finally foiled the foul warlock Gravesbane's plan to summon his master to the realm. The leader of your group, a lion beastkin named Leonidas, puts his sword back in his sheath and says to the warlock," Foul one, your evil scheme for this world has failed. Prince Crainthius will not be summoned." The warlock, who at this point bleeding out, looked at the lion with a defiant sneer as he suddenly pulled out what looked like an obsidian dagger out of his robes. The man then raises the dagger into the air and plunges it into his chest. As the man cried out in pain, he suddenly yelled out," Prince Crainthus, I offer my soul to you! In exchange, i want you to strike down my foes so that i may enter into Oblivion with joy and not anger." The Warlock then removes the blade from his chest and finally stops breathing, the blade obviously finishing the job you started. Suddenly, your vision is suddenly obscured by a bright light which seemed to growing brighter by each minute. As the light grew more intense, you hear Leonidas chanting holy prayers in a attempt to dispel the demonic curse the warlock gave you before you died. However, before you could react to these developments, you lose consciousness with the last thing you hear being a demonic laugh.
The Bronx
Leonidas woke up with a groan. The last thing he remembered doing was desperately trying to dispel the demonic curse the foul warlock Gravesbane subjected to him and his companions. Obviously, he had failed. Leonidas was about to cry out in rage at this though when he noticed something about the area he woke in, it was not the Warlock's tower. Looking around it appeared to be an alleyway of a major city. However, it looked extremely off. The first thing he noticed was that it was night time in the city and the area was well illuminated by strange, long looking lamps. As Leonidas struggled to get up to his feet, he managed to get a closer look at the lamp and, to his confusion, saw that it was not lit by fire, but by a glass container containing pure light. Leonidus looked at this container for a few moments then finally said to himself," This city must've invented a type of light magic that allows it to be contained. Now, i must find my companions, no doubt they have been scattered across this city by the Warlock's curse as well. Then, we will try to find out where we are." Before he could do that however, a woman's scream filled the air, Leonidas immediately snarled, some fool no doubt was harassing a young woman. He then immediatly charged towards the source of the scream, forgetting about the task of finding his companions, who were about to come to in the same area.
