Pheovanara is a widely diverse region. More towards the middle or one could say slightly south are the halfling lands, Lasite. It's mostly grasslands and rolling hills. Across the waters and to the east rest the wastelands belonging to the orc. Just above the orc is the Underdark. A place where the sun never seems to shine and home to the drow (dark elves). To the west are the elven lands. Also called the Teavell Empire. In the northwest area is the human kingdom, Lourean. Just to the east of them are the Dwarves in the empire of Drovura. To the southeast, where no one dares to go are the lands the Lich has claimed for himself.

For as long as anyone can remember, the races have been at war with one and other. Noone willing to compromise over lands, resources, power. Then something happened. The dragons grew tired of the fighting and wars. Tired of their own kind being hunted almost to extinction. So the dragons made an unsteady pact with the rest of the world. As long as the fighting is dulled and everyone at least makes an effort not to destroy everything. Then a few of each race would be granted a dragon. And for a time this worked.

That was until a Lich by the name of Qrek'zed not only found away to control a dragon for himself. But he has ended up with an army of dragons. Making his home in the southeast. Qrek'zed has started to wage open war on all who doesn't serve him.

Most dragon info came from here.
All dragons can take a humanoid form.

Chromatic Dragons
Chromatic dragons are typically of evil alignment, in contrast to the metallic dragons, which are typically of good alignment. White, black, green, blue, and red dragons being the classic chromatic dragons. Their breath weapon usually matches their color. Red dragons are the largest and most powerful of the chromatic dragons. White dragons are the weakest and the most feral of the chromatic dragons.

Metallic Dragons
Metallic dragons are of good alignment. Bahamut is the deity of good-aligned dragons and metallic dragons, and currently the only known Platinum dragon in existence. Metallic dragons have five main types - brass, copper, bronze, silver, and gold - were presented as roughly analogous to the five types of chromatic dragons. Gold dragons are the most powerful of the metallics. And Brass being the lest powerful of this class.

Gem Dragons
Gem dragons are typically of neutral alignment with respect to good and evil, but some kinds are quite egoistic and awful company nevertheless. The Gem dragon family comprise Amethyst Dragons, Crystal Dragons, Emerald Dragons, Sapphire Dragons, and Topaz Dragons. Sardior is the deity of gem dragons. Although Obsidian Dragons are also technically gem dragons, they are opposed to Sardior and most other gem dragons. The strongest being Crystal and the weakest being Topaz.

Epic dragons
There is a hand full of Epic dragons in this world. They are the strongest of all dragons. They also have some of the greatest weaknesses.

Time dragon: Only one is ever alive at any given time. Only ages when using its breath weapon.
Breath weapon: Line of Ravaging Time and Cone of Time Expulsion. It can send a person forwards or back in time. Using this weapon shortens the dragon's life greatly. They can only use this ability a hand full of times.
Terrain: Anywhere they find air to breathe
Alignment: Usually Neutral

Tome dragon
Breath weapon:
Elemental energy. It's random and can't always control what type of energy is summoned forth. Only had a limited amount of energy to use.
Terrain: Mountains
Alignment: Neutral Good

Hex dragon
Breath weapon:
Poison, it can curse anyone hit with its weapon. But with each curse placed on a person, something equally as bad happens to the dragon.
Terrain: Forest, marshes, underground
Alignment: Neutral Evil

Qrek'zed, a Lich who controls a good amount of the dragons. He has a fortress to the south. The once green lands are slowly starting to turn black and wither. A miasma hangs thick in the air, making most sick if they stay around too long. Skeletons, zombies, and other nasty undead have started to follow the dark lord who seeks to dominate all races. His personal dragon is a Black Dragon that spews poisonous fumes.
