Pets/Mounts: She owns a grey and white cat by the name of Dew, as well as three horses: Fleetstep (Dapple-grey Quarter Horse Stallion), Eclipse (White Tennessee walker mixed Mare), and Pansy( A grey shire mare ).
Personality: She is a very nurturing individual and she is quite clever, often using her artistic eye and skills to make her farm as bright,colorful, and healthy as it could possibly be. She also has a habit of painting the walls of her barn and the outside of her house, so she is quite difficult to miss. However, she is a quiet girl and is often off in her own little world, her attention span is short if she isn’t invested and interested in the moment, but once she is, it is quite difficult to break her focus. Due to this, she can often come off as antisocial and standoffish. She gets lost in moments quite effortlessly and, thus, is easily pleased. Some of these qualities are redeeming at times, other times they are a curse. In the end, everyone has something they need to work on.
Appearance: Misty-blue eyes (hence the nickname, they’re sometimes blue, and other times they are a misty grey) with short,curly, and copperish hair.

Bio: Wisteria has lived on her own for the past two years, having inherited Rainside from her late grandfather, whom she had an avid friendship with. He left his life’s work to her, and she gladly took on the challenge. As for the rest of her family, she has lost contact with them, having cut ties due to the constant pressure they pushed on her to sell the place. She loves Rainside as much, possible more, than her Grandfather had. Despite all of this, she still has a hidden dream, one she pursues when free time strikes her.

Her home is located in town, connected to the forge and workshop there. She also built a small lodge and forge up in the mountains outside the entrance to the mine. She stays at both fairly equally.

Physical appearance:

She’s about 5’3” and way stronger than her (frail) stature suggests. She has a scar on her torso from an operation on her heart when she was really little, before her family moved out to the valley.

Personality:
Lumina is a friendly and energetic girl, seen most often with a smile on her face. She enjoys the company of others and helping out wherever she can. But even more than all that, she loves being a blacksmith and all that comes with it. She loves crafting tools and objects from the ores and gems she mines, and she loves mining and searching for those precious materials just as much. You're most likely to find her either delving in the mine or at her forge, with a smile on her face the whole time. She does have a habit of getting overexcited when it comes to the things she likes and is passionate about, and can talk your ear off if given the chance. Even still, she does care deeply about the people in her life, and will forgo her own interests to help someone if they need it. She can be a bit naive and optimistic as well, but she'd prefer to live a positive life, feeling that it's the best way to live given her own personal situation. Her overly happy attitude occasionally acts as a mask to cover her own negative emotions surrounding her health problems. When it comes to her health problems, she tends to make them out to be less of an issue than they actually are.

Likes/Interests:
Lumina adores blacksmithing, mining, ores, gems, and everything that comes with her job. She loves creating things with her own hands, and using her skills to be able to provide for others. She likes building as well, and will help out with any building projects people need. She loves a well cooked meal, and the occasional sweets (orange is her favorite fruit flavor). She also likes flowers, especially snowdrops. She also learned how to play violin growing up, and will play it every once in a while. She’s actually really quite good at it.

Dislikes/Fears:
She doesn't like talking about her illness as she doesn't want to worry people with her problems. She doesn't really dislike much else, though she's not particularly fond of fish, or mushrooms.

Relationships:
She and her family send letters back and forth to communicate.
She and Hunter were childhood friends due to both growing up in Kore.
No romantic relationship, but would be open for one. Gender doesn't really matter to her as long as there's a genuine connection.

Background:
You'd never guess it by looking at her, but Lumina's been sick pretty much her entire life. She was born with a congenital heart condition that came with a slew of complications, so her parents moved themselves out to the valley when she was small to see if the change in scenery would help. The fresh air and small population of Kore Village seemed the perfect place to raise her given their circumstances, and it seemed to help at least marginally. Her father was a construction worker in the city, so he decided to take up smithing and carpentry in the village to help upkeep the town with whatever needed being done. Her mother was able to commute remotely with her job (Lumina didn't really know what it was her mother did), so the two were able to settle into the valley nicely. As Lumina grew up, her interest in what her father did grew as well, until she wanted to learn how to do what he did. Her parents figured it couldn't hurt, partially using this as a way to gauge their daughter's health improvements. To their surprise, her complications seemed to lessen as she grew stronger and learned more, and through this Lumina found her life's passion. To this day she still remembers making her first successful tool, a crude pickaxe, and she proudly hangs it on the wall of her house connected to her forge in town. When she was 18, her parents decided it was time to move back to the city, but she refused to go back, having fallen in love with the valley and the smithing and the building that needed doing with more young people moving to the valley again. Her parents weren't sure about this, considering her ongoing health problems and leaving their child alone, but Lumina assured them she would be fine, and eventually they agreed to let her stay. They send a letter every week or so, and always bug her to come back home in every letter they send. But Lumina never will; Kore Village of Violet Meadows is her home, and it's where she's meant to be. That was a few years ago, and Lumina is thriving in the village at 22 years old. Well, as much as she can when her health problems don't act up. Because of her habit of pushing herself too hard, she finds herself in the hospital more often than she or the doctor would like. Occasionally she'll have to stay in the hospital for extended periods of time when things get bad, but she bears with it, knowing that by getting better she can get back out to the mine again. Her life goal is to get to the bottom of the mine and see what she can find down there.

Other:
Lumina describes her illness as "a congenital heart condition plus some". Her heart has had issues since birth, and had an operation on it when she was around 3 years old to try and help fix it, and has a huge scar on her torso from it (she intentionally hides this so people don't talk about it). Because of its complexity, Lumina faces a slew of complications like anemia, passing out, coughing up blood, an occasionally irregular heartbeat, bouts of chronic fatigue, and some breathing problems among others. Usually these complications will come and go, but when they persist and stick around is when Lumina finds herself staying in the hospital/clinic for extended stays.

Personality:
On the outside, Rhys is a calculated individual. He is focused and gets his work done, and all while walking with grace and an air of arrogance. And it seems that work is all that matters to him. He acts in a cold manner and some would even say he's heartless. But, once you get past his tough outer shell, you would know that "heartless" is far from the truth. You'd notice the kind words Rhys gives to upset patients, the cute dances he does when he's alone, and the fiery resolve in his heart to assist those in need.

Rhys sends letters to his parents and siblings every two weeks. During school, he was always too busy to have a relationship. Now, he still wants to get into the groove of being a doctor before having a partner, but perhaps in the future, he'll be more open to the idea. Rhys is bisexual.

Background:
Rhys comes from a fairly wealthy family. He has always wanted to help others when he grew up. Rhys developed that from his parents, who used their money donate to public works projects, charities, and local hospitals. Inspired by his parents, Rhys debated relentlessly about what career would be best suited for him, and discovered being a doctor might be the perfect career. Rhys fought his way through medical school, refusing to let anything even attempt to ruin his shot at his dream. After becoming a full-fledged doctor, he started a job in the city hospital. And that's when things went... downhill. After a few months of working at the hospital, Rhys began to notice some alarming traits about his fellow doctors. The aloof manner they talked to staff, the careless diagnoses they gave to patients, and how money always seemed to be the top priority on their minds, not the patient's wellbeing. Doctors like those were truly despicable in Rhys's eyes. To be like them, he assessed, would be failing at his dream. After discovering his disillusionment with the city, Rhys moved to Kore to start up his own clinic, about 6 months ago. A clinic that had patients as the top priority. Hopefully, with this clinic, he can truly fulfill his dream and be the best doctor he can be.

Other:
When off duty, Rhys usually wears a dress shirt and sleeveless vest. He takes down his ponytail, revealing his long, messy hair. He also carries a satchel with his personal belongings.

His satchel contains many items. Two journals, one for patient logs and another for his personal writings, a small first aid kit, a bag of lollipops, and a silver locket containing pictures of his family.
His family calls him Ryebread and Watty (his middle name is Watson) but does not let anyone else call him that.

Outside of work she keeps her hair down mostly, wearing soft coloured blouses paired with either jeans or skirt, depending on what she is doing she sometimes wears round glasses.

She always seems to be busy with something, be it reading up for work or playing some kind of game or brainteaser, she feels a constant need to keep herself occupied, feeling uncomfortable or not useful otherwise, this sometimes manifests itself physically in the form of her fidgeting with her hands, her hair, her sleeves or anything she can get her hands on. Background:
Amelia originally comes from a bigger town a fair distance away from the village and despite her father being born and raised in the Kore she has only visited a handful of times during her early childhood. Because of her mother's busy career as a professional ballet dancer that involved a lot of travelling she was sent to a boarding school in the city for the the majority of her childhood so she'd have a stable place to live and finish her education, spending whatever time outside of that living with her uncle, aunt and older cousins. After finishing university in the city she arrived in Kore a few months after graduating and job hunting. Her cousin, Samuel had already settled in Kore on a permanent basis had informed her of a nursing position available at the local clinic that had just been just opened.

After hearing the news she put in for the job and got hired, she then packed her bags and made her way to the village, she has been there for a little while now but is still adjusting. She currently lives along with Samuel until she is used to things.

Samuel has dark brown curly hair that has a somewhat messy appearance and has grey/blue lazy looking eyes along with tanned skin. He dresses in pretty plain clothing and colours, sticking to a plain T-shirt or sweatshirt with some jeans, as long as it's comfortable to wear (comfortable enough to nap in). He frequently has to wear band-aids if he hurts himself while working because of his fear of blood (he doesn't mind pain, he just minds looking at blood). Even if something as simple as a paper cut happens off he runs to cover it so he doesn't have to see it.

Samuel is a pretty lax person that takes each day as it comes he does what he wants and doesn't like to be rushed in doing so (despite probably needing a good ol' shove pretty often) He's mostly friendly to talk with, greeting most with the same lazy grin he normally wears. Though he does take the care of his farm and his animals seriously, he doesn't take much else seriously, his placid nature causes him to not think before he acts sometimes or just leave things to the last minute (Which can annoy his younger cousin at times who tends to keep him in check). When working he frequently talks with his animals when no-one is around (He obviously knows they don't understand him and can answer, he's just a blather and has a soft spot for the critters)

Background:
Samuel has lived in Kore Village for most of his childhood on and off. Living with his parents in the same town as Amelia until the summer, or any other school holidays where he would spend it on the farm with his grandparents.

Once his grandparents got too old to deal with the farm themselves they handed it over to Samuel to look after mostly alone, with some guidance from them when needed before they went off with whatever the had saved to live in their own little holiday home, he frequently receives letters from them.

Samuel's farm which he took over from his grandparents is a livestock farm, dealing in mostly dairy produce but deals with wool as well, just not as much. Because of the focus on livestock there isn't much crop on the land, it is mostly made up of large grassy fields and animals sheds/Barns

Personality:
Ren may look like a troublemaker, but he sure doesn't act like one. He is well mannered, polite, and generally a relaxed individual. He's mature as well as he also has to raise and take care of his little sister. He's also protective of her and will do anything to make sure she is happy. Though he will never talk about his past or his current occupation and prefers to change the subject. Ren may not divulge this but he enjoys carving wood figurines for people as a side project.

Emilia is a great big bundle of joy and also trouble. Emilia loves to mess with people with little innocent pranks such as tie your shoes together, mismatch your socks, surprise water gun attacks, etc... She is also loves to do new and fun things and tends to also explore a lot, even when she isn't supposed to.

Physical appearance:


Personality: For anybody that knew a younger Max they would be surprised with how much he has changed. He shows a natural tenderness for others along with a willingness to say and do everything he can, unknown traits then but currently have made him a big brother of the village. Age has made him more mellow and mature with perhaps an unhealthy work ethic. But he still isn’t too old for teasing and takes pleasure in it. Most people from his city life simply never really got to know Max, instead they only saw the jovial young man with infinite potential that endangered it with his penchant for late night activities unbecoming the son of an officer. Which was the truth. The man then and now is interestingly different. Well, he still is at times irritatingly stubborn, a tad reticent along with a professional hypocrite. Somethings don’t change it seems.

Likes/Interests:
-Loves nearly everything to do with wilderness from the smallest bug to the largest oak.
-He has a nasty habit of eating some of his own cookie profits which usually means baking a few extra.
-Likes a good scary story.
-Gardening is probably his favorite hobby.
-People enjoying his food.



Dislikes/Fears:
-Flies are the bane of his existence and Max will hunt any down that bother him no matter how long it takes.
-Not fond of raw tomatoes, not the taste the texture of the jelly seed area.
-The heat hits Max harder than others, if he could Max would sleep straight through the summer.
-Wanna drive Max absolutely crazy? Do him a favor and never let him return it. He hates being indebted to anybody.


Relationships: An older sister, mom and dad he is loves very dearly but has become a tad estranged from over the years. He has four childhood friends that know more about Max that even his own family.

Background: Max moved into Kore from the big city about four years ago. He is the youngest child, and only son, of a seamstress and a Navy captain. Early life was comfortable, if a bit lonely for the young boy as Father was often away. The stories Father would tell whenever he was home undoubtedly had been the spark that enamored Max with the wonders of the world. However distance between father and son would continue to grow as Max was enrolled into a prestigious academy away from home.

The academy was a prime place for a formal education, lasting friendships and hitting the town. Max did all three, sometimes at the same time. That’s not to say he neglected school or got into any real trouble, he was a fine student that just happened to rarely deny a chance for some fun. It just happened that the fun the teen had might have been better suited for a young adult, let alone the son of a high officer. But Max managed to get out of it unscathed and without getting too deep in trouble.

So how did the boy expected to follow in his father’s footsteps end up a baker? Simple really, he was offered a job at a nearby bakery following another night on the town. They were shorthanded, Max needed money, a win-win situation. It turned out that the job became an enjoyable career for the troubled young Max who sought identity. He started there at sixteen and stayed until his eventual graduation from the academy two years later. From there the mystery of Max begins. He vanished shortly after graduation and the only signs that he was alive were the letters left for family and friends. It wasn’t for another six years that Max finally settled in of all places the tiny village of Kore.

Occupation: Errand boy/Student

Occupation Fact: As a self-proclaimed free roaming errand boy. His job varies from person to person. Whatever task the client asks. He'll do his best to satisfy their needs. Although in return, current currency is not required for him for he also can be paid by giving him one of the following.

*One or two random cooking/baking ingredients of any kind
*A school supply of any kind
*Any clothing that fit him

As strange as these requests maybe. One can see that Oliver takes these items wholeheartedly, as if they were money to him. Sometimes he does things for free without payment, commonly happens when he offers help first.

Physical appearance:
Standing at a whooping 4'7 feet tall. Oliver is a short dark skinned boy with buggy emerald eyes,whom dresses modestly in his culinary uniform. This black haired lad is equipped with brown leather boots and work gloves. One can notice a hand sewn heart patchwork on his apron which is sewn by his grandmother.

Personality: Modest, honest and forgiving. It's obvious from his outer appearance on what kind of person Oliver is. Always, showing politeness to those older and more superior than him. Oliver is a down-to-the-earth kind of child as he always shows. Brave and adventurous, Oliver is known to quite have such a way of life performing unusual acts of kindness. Oliver is honest and reliable to talk to. Given his age because so. He doesn't often lie nor good at hiding his own lies. Generally he is a good child yet overly submissive and naive, raised with proper manners and personality. It is not an understatement when one says that Oliver is quite talented in various fields. Cooking and baking is his dominant talent. He's quite a untapped singer, tailor and gardening. Combine this with his personality and that is Oliver Taurez.

Background:
Born inside the village as the 5th generation. He grew up to be an obedient boy of his age. Raised alone by his own grandmother. Raising him more of a son than a grandson. Unfortunately. As time flows by. Age has slowed her down. She could no longer work and care for her grandson with all her heart. Forcing Oliver to work, study and grow up on his own. This is why Oliver works so many tasks for his age. From cleaning roofs to fighting rabid raccoons from the forests. Oliver's job system was one of a kind. For his services are not always paid in full gold. He also takes personal needs as payment. Everyone knows that Oliver works so hard despite being so young. His kind and selfless services continues till today. There is so much mystery to the boy. Where were his parents? What is his dream? Is there more to him than the his surface.

*Oliver has faced wildlife danger before as mentioned earlier that the fact that he beaten 7 rabid raccoons out of his home was quite a story seen and told by few as he fought with only with a frying pan and a hot pot of water at the time.

Relationships:
Her parents who live on her farm with her. Has grown up in Kore and gets on well with most people. Anyone that she doesn't get on with so well, she makes sure to keep being polite with in the hopes that they will get along at some point.

Background:
Cass was born and raised in Kore, watching her parents work the farm and spending her days happily in the rural environment. She was always taught to treat others well and never judge and in Kore, she never felt that skill being tested too much.
Her hobby of making clothes and accessories for herself and others became something she wantedShe left to go to a college a few towns away once she was old enough, mainly out of curiosity for the world around her but once her time there was up she came straight home. Whenever she's asked about it she makes a "blergh face" (her own words) and says it just wasn't the place for her. Once she came hoe she started working on the farm and her parents quickly made the decision to pass the farm on to her.
Just one year later and she's made the farm her own with a flock each of chickens, ducks and geese while changing the produce to the kinds of foods that work as treats for her new animals. Her parents were worried at first when they saw the changes she was bringing to the farm they had tended for years but they were still able to turn a decent profit so they haven't really said much about about it, even if they still sometimes give her a look about it.

Background:
Emily used to be apart of a rather wealthy family from the city. Back when she went to school, she was she was heavily bullied to the point she would no longer want to go to school and would adventualy drop out before achieving anything from it. Her home life wasn't as good either her parents where rather disappointed to have a drop out of a daughter and would struggle to find a use of her. This would adventualy lead her to shut her self away in her room never come out. After many attempts of trying to make a use out her, her parents got fed up and one night while she was asleep, they had her dragged out of her room and sent to the near by village. Where she would wake up in the local inn with only a bit of money and a paper showing a change in name from Emily Sapphire to Emily lily. Emily has since been forced to take up a job as a waitress to pay off her inn bill where she seems to have become a permanent patron.

  Alessia is constantly aware of the world around her and embraces it all. She's one to rarely be overwhelmed and finds such a rush in being with others and being able to help others. One could easily describe her as motherly, especially when she takes a vested interest in the lives of others. Her closest friend is her own instincts which have rarely steered her wrong on when to intervene. After all, she'd just as easily be called nosy if not for her general good sense of what others are feeling. Realistically, that would be unlikely to stop her though. She's a meddler at heart, but she does always have the best intentions.
  
  In terms of her strongest part of her personality, it has to be her absolutely wild nature. Her emotions are often on full display as she rarely holds anything back. It made her easily side into the center spotlight as a kid. While she enjoyed her visits to her cousin's as Kore was everything she could want when it came to untapped adventure, even in her life at the city she found was to make the world seem grander. She takes the time to enjoy the unexpected in her life and encourages others to do the same. Every twist and turn of life should be viewed as a new challenge or game to win.
  
  Don't mistake her for just going with the flow though, even though she's got an unrestrained side she does what she needs to. The business world is cut-throat and she knows better than to put play before work. Every day she lists what she needs to do, and while it may not be done first, she's always going to make sure it is done even if that means that sleeps going to need to take a backseat for the day. Just as she juggles a social scene she's learned to juggle her commitments, often saying no to others even as she plans to do it. After all, so long as she doesn't agree then she can't let anyone down if she can't do it.

She's got what one would call a "commanding" personality. Alessia's relationship with her mother is quite good, and while she's not necessarily her role model she respects her mother greatly. In fact, while they no longer live in the same city Alessia always make sure to put some time aside each night to talk with her mother.

  History:
  Alessia was raised outside of Kore in a city called, Jupiter. For a good period of time she was raised alongside her elder sister, Arianna, and her Elder brother, Mirko, to take over the family business. While she showed no initial calling for the job, Alessia was also the only one that didn't show initial disdain for it. Even so, she still wasn't one to be cooped up in a storefront and often found herself stumbling out as her father would be teaching her siblings the ins and outs of the business. Her mother would take notice and file it away for a conversation later. For the first twelve years of her life, it would be a cycle of school, learning the family business, and sleep only being broken by her need to sneak away for adventures or their own monthly visits to her cousin's house.
  
  It wasn't until her twelfth birthday until this changed. Her birthday present was a training sword as her mother brought her to the side to explain that she saw a good head on her daughter's shoulders but that if she never learned to control her impulses and her own boundless energy then even things she wished to do would one day feel like a chore. From then on Alessia took those words to heart learning to balance her life a bit better. After all, she may have frequently left her father's teaching but running the business was what she wanted to do. She just had never known how to start if she couldn't even stay focused through a lesson. Hunter's gift just added on to her change, an adorable rucksack made for a true adventurer. She began to see her interests and her goals align as she focused more on her father's lessons. Fair prices and sales would help keep the store afloat and draw customers in but to keep them you had to have something all your own. For her father, that was community the feeling that you weren't forgotten and just a number in the throws of the city. For Alessia, she would be sure to have the widest variety. Somethings just couldn't be stocked up through normal means and as an adventurer and future business owner, she would make sure that anything she couldn't stock she'd find.
  
  Around the age of seventeen, she would already be taking over a store of the family business on the outskirts of Jupiter. She was young but she was determined with a staff of twelve she had very little room for error. With her father always there to turn to if she needed a push in the right direction. While the store did okay it was clear she was out of her element in the big city. She would fight this losing battle for several years, often barely scraping by with a profit to show. It wasn't until her Hunter called her finally breaking down with his own emotions about being left to alone with the inn that she realized she wanted to go support him. Her own store wasn't thriving under her management, she cared little for the city itself, she wanted a chance to truly shine on her own, so it wasn't a truly unselfish decision. She would dot her I's and cross her t's being the very model manager the store needed while slowly phasing in Arianna as the new leader of the store.
  
  One year later she had bought out and reconstructed one of the few stores in Kore making a place for herself and her then-boyfriend. The first year was a struggle and a learning experience. The next would be an almost complete revisiting as she hired a worker or two, had been left by her boyfriend and got used to fixing things on her own. Her store was quirky just like her often filled with everything you needed and everything you never wanted to see. She loved the store and her new home. If she happened to scare a few by adopting a monster or two she found in the mines she would hardly notice. After all, life was looking up for both her and Hunter.

  Hunter has been an amazingly extroverted person even from childhood. As the son of two inn owners, he was often meeting with people from all over, while most children are taught to keep away from strangers instead Hunter got to know them by name. It was clear early on that he was rather good at it as well. You could often find him running up to people and introducing himself without prompting. Sometimes he even found his way into interrupting conversations, which most found cute in his younger years. In fact, he was somewhat of a star of the inn as a child. After all, he was more than willing to show around the kids of any such travelers. Every cool spot or attraction was well known to him as he heard it repeated daily, and his extroverted behavior helped him maintain an air of leadership for far longer than he cared to notice.
  
  Even as a child he had been building up a life of orderly behavior. He liked his routines, he liked plans, he liked things in their place, but above all, he liked for things to be expected. Surprises don't really fall in line with his plans, after all, how could he be sure that it would all go well if he didn't get to put his opinions in? Even if more often than not his plans were completely crashed he would rather have the plans ready only intending on getting help when all plans ran out. His own independence was important to him, he accepted guidance with lots of complaints.
  
  That saying though he may complain through it all it’s never stopped him from helping. He’s a relaxed person and never felt the need to rush through life, in fact he hates starting something without a clear plan. For his friends he never ran out of patience; especially, with how often he found himself being less and less attached to plans so long as they’re around. He’s always going to follow through on his commitments, Integrity is a quality he’s never had trouble with, though he’ll be reminding you every step of the way if he dislikes something. Keeping his thoughts and feelings to himself is not something he’s ever had an luck with.
  
  With parents such as his he’s gotten to points where he’s definitely been the most responsible. As a result he’s gotten rather good at controlling his emotions, it’s rare he’ll lash out out of frustration. He’s big in thinking through the benefits and the consequences of actions, after all why make a situation worse? The times he’s done something and wound up regretting it later stick with him for years until he can really accept it. He’s still just as likely to get frazzled when his emotions run too high but he knows that he can always take some time and refocus. The world may be at his grasp but that’s far beyond and for now he has to live in the present.

  Alessia has always been close to Hunter. While she wasn't necessarily a role model to him he greatly respected her. Even though at times he found her personality scary sometimes as a child he's always believed that she'd be on his side when it counted. Later on, as the two went into their teens they wound up being each other's confidants.
  
  History:
  Hunter was born and raised in Kore. The village may not be all he knows but it’s damn well the main thing he knows. As the son of the owners of Vitral Inn he’s been taught the ins and out of the inn. From childhood, he'd already begun developing deep bonds with the ones that would frequent his home. As a child, he knew the ins and outs of every closet and every hiding place and made the inn practically a joint home as children from every room would be seen playing throughout the inn. His family's penthouse apartment was never entertaining enough when he had a tiny neighborhood in his own building.
  
  The only thing that would take him away from running wild in the inn would be the library and his lessons with his friends. Afternoons were to be spent with friends and he had no shortage of them. The village was a small place and even the most polar opposites had the time to find some common ground. He was good at enjoying new things so he would have the most fun when someone else would lead the day and they'd all try something new. He'd carry it on all his life always dedicating at least one day to shaking up the system.
  
  For years without knowing it he'd find himself gaining more and more responsibility of the inn. What started as unprompted conversations with the guests expanded into taking care of the front desk, and then working with the kitchens in what to stock, getting to know the bartenders and the patrons. Slowly he started to integrate his own touches into the building. Before long the staff had begun to bring the problems to Hunter before they would bring them to his father. He loved the trust but he didn't quite feel right in having such responsibility after all he was just a teen really.
  
  As for his own solution? He started to gain more skills and knowledge. He'd go away for college and then his parents could reobtain the inn. He'd get a temporary job and he'd only come back when he truly believed he deserved to run it. At least that's what he had planned out. After telling his parents about his feelings on the matter and his plans for the future they went silent. Eventually, his father, Claude, asked why he felt he didn't deserve to run it now. After a long heated debate on the future set forth for Hunter, they all went to bed dissatisfied. The next morning his parents had left for a surprise extended vacation leaving behind only a note imploring Hunter to take care of the inn until further notice and that they believed so much in him. The staff had already been informed and suddenly Hunter was now the sole manager and tempory owner of the Vitral Inn.
  
  So in all fairness, Hunter knew very well this was his parents' strange way of showing their own support. Still as a nineteen-year-old that just had his plans go up in smoke, he was furious and frustrated. Who knew when it would end, as his parents could keep this up decades if they truly wished to. For a month he kept thinking he could do a half-assed job because his parents would be right back right? But he could never leave his beloved home out to dry and he was back to throwing himself all in within the next month. Still, it was a lot of pressure and his parents were stubborn as oxen. So he called in a favor and sucked up his pride asking for his closest family member, Alessia, for help.
  
  Things could and did get better. Alessia came to support him, so he wasn't nearly as stressed out as the beginning. He got the random updates that his parents were okay and apparently traveling the world. Just how much money did those two have saved up? The town was flourishing and the guests kept coming. He still kept in touch with childhood friends like Lumina. He had his weeks where he got overworked still and had to spend the day dodging the doc and his cousin if he wanted to get anything done but life was good.

Charming - He's not shy when it comes to harmlessly making others blush, and enjoys flirting and flattering them with his infamous silver tongue to do so. He likes to use his charm to get what he wants out of others as well, though he more often uses it for more innocent reasons.

Background: Caleb always had a passion for the spotlight, even as a young child, he loved entertaining. Darius is too ashamed to admit it, but after their mother's death, he fell into a depression, and threw himself into his gardening. Physical appearance:
Milo is a small man whose youthful appearance often fools others into thinking he is far younger than he really is. His outfit mostly consists of an oversized red robe that is typically tied together. In most cases, he carries a brown backpack from which he holds a few too many trinkets to sell.
Aside from his unnaturally young appearance and messy brown locks, there is nothing else that really stands out physically.

Personality:
Milo is a strange individual who is nice, just really odd in the eyes of many due to what his "profession" is. A strong believer in magic, Milo can often be seen reading strange books and mixing strange liquids together. When he isn't trying to sell someone a monkey's paw, he is trying to help anyone he can even if he's a bit accident-prone. As studious as Milo is, he is the smartest idiot anyone will ever meet-- how he manages to be so knowledgable yet idiotic at the same time is a mystery not even his mentor can answer.
He is often said to be overly dramatic, especially when things don't go his way. From over the top panicking, to spiraling on tangents that are born from basic misunderstandings, it's amazing how he still somehow manages to function on his own. To some extent, Milo is aware that he can be "a little extra" and does try to make up for it . . . even if his way of apologizing is weird, Milo means well in the end.

Silvanus Mooney - Milo was taken in at a very young age by Mister Silvanus, but their relationship was never that of a father and son. Mister Silvanus was Milo's mentor but around the age of 19, he had a fit and left. They haven't spoken since, but Milo is hoping to fix that.

Background:
Milo Mooney was orphaned at a very young age, but he didn't stay at the orphanage for too long. Around the time he was 6 years old, Mister Silvanus adopted him and he had been under his care since. Originally Silvanus had no intentions of teaching Milo anything about his profession but Milo had taken interest very quickly and after some consistent pestering, Silvanus gave in and made Milo his apprentice.
The pair moved around ever so often and were fairly close until a certain love affair Milo had with someone in the town they lived in stirred trouble between them. There was a huge fight that ended with Milo storming off with this new lover of his and he hasn't spoken to Silvanus since. In less than a year of Milo living with his partner, things went sour and Milo found himself getting kicked to the curb.
Since then Milo found himself moving around, selling oddities to anyone who took interest and has managed semi decently. He hopes to someday find his mentor to apologize for the way he acted in the past, but as of now doesn't have much of a lead aside from "he said Violet Meadows was a nice place once".

Personality:
Excentric would be the first word someone would call Thomas if they mentioned magic to him. However, besides that, he's rather laid back. A true bookworm is he as Thomas knows where every book in his library is. Books being a large part of his life and he wouldn't be ashamed to admit it, but they are second to his hobby of trying to prove the mystics to be true despite his fruitless efforts. Thomas is well-meaning enough but rather blunt at times, missing social queues rather regularly. Background:
Thomas comes from a long lineage of normal people, his father being a member of a postal guild and his mother part of a writer's guild. Between the two of them, Thomas developed a love for stories and books. When he was old enough his father let Thomas travel around with him, letting Thomas meet many people and many things as the various inns they stopped at. Around the age of 15, Thomas met a storyteller that lit a spark within Thomas that led to a love of magic, whether it was real or not, Thomas didn't know. What he did know was within the teller's story it came from a book, and so Thomas set out to gather a collection so big that perhaps one day he would have the magic book from the story. However, with time Thomas realized that just the collection was enough and if magic was real it would be a bonus to his new way of life. However, life took an unexpected turn when the famous "Vivi Darling" when her infamous affair with a young love hit the tabloids. A love life for a young idol was absolutely taboo and in a desperate attempt to save her idol career, she quickly broke off the flame and tried to fight to save her name. However, her image as an idol was already damaged to a point that she couldn't fix it and Vivi's popularity as an idol began to crumble. No label record would ever want to pick her as a solo artist, let alone a member of an idol group. Slowly but surely, Vivi watched her dreams dashed to the wind as she was removed from performances and singing among her idol sisters.

"Vivi Darling" had disappeared from both the ranking charts and the city itself. Returning to her roots, Vivi found her way back to her home town that barely remembered the sound of her name. With what money she had left from her savings as an idol, she took her eye for sparkling costumes and opened up a boutique for the townsfolk. Her life may not have sparkled and shined the way she wished it would, but she could at least watch others appreciate her shine. In a way, Vivi was able to keep up her adoration in her town from how differently she dressed in comparison to farmers and found herself at least content with this watered down attention she once knew.

Personality: Alex is a fairly outgoing girl, she has no problem socializing with strangers and loves to hear any stories they may have to tell. She loves learning new things, so you'll catch her at the library every once in a while with a couple of books or maybe even picking up a new hobby. She's honest and straightforward when people ask her a question or want to know her opinion, though she won't say anything in a way she knows will hurt somebodies feelings. Lying makes her feel guilty and she's truly bad at it, often giving herself away because she's unable to maintain eye contact or her voice gets quieter, so she rarely does it. Alex has a major soft spot for animals and even more so for cats, if you talk to her about animals it's hard to miss the way her eyes light up. She cares deeply for the people around her and trusts people quite easily, which has caused problems for her in the past but she's a strong girl and doesn't have a hard time getting rid of the toxic people out of her life. Background: For as long as Alex could remember it was always her and her mom, having been the result of a one time fling her dad told her either she abort or do it alone, and so she chose the latter. Despite everything, her mom always made sure they had a roof over their heads, clothes, and 3 meals a day which Alex was grateful for and had no complaints.
When Alex was 15 her mother's health was deteriorating and after a doctors visit, they learned she had cancer. Of course, the news was overwhelming for her but she put on a brave front for her mother. After some time they began living with her grandpa so that he could watch over her mother and make sure Alex was taken care of. Unfortunately, the cancer didn't get any better and her mother later passed that year. While Alex was heartbroken, she knew her mother was in a place where she wasn't hurting anymore and that made it a little easier to accept it.
After she graduated from high school Alex worked with her grandpa in his home repair business and heard many stories from him about Kore village, where he grew up and met her grandmother who was a blacksmith and where her mother also spent her childhood. After hearing this, Alex was determined to go there and be in the village that her grandfather and mother loved so much.
A couple of months ago, her grandpa surprised her with all the money she could possibly need to go to Kore and get herself settled. She took off a few days later and upon arriving she could see why her grandfather adored the village and immediately felt at home.
Currently, she has settled into a small and affordable house and works at the inn to hopefully pay back her grandfather one day and make a living. She has recently taken an interest in learning blacksmithing. Talking about her mother is still a sore subject but she'll happily talk about her to anyone willing to listen.

It could be said that Elliot is the polar opposite of his sister Lumina. Where she's bubbly, optimistic, and outgoing, Elliot is reserved, realistic, and blunt. He takes things seriously, and for being an artist, he doesn't express much. At least when it comes to his emotions. Though he might be on the quieter and stoic side, don't let that fool you into thinking that Elliot doesn't care. He's actually quite kind and caring, going out of his way to help people when they need it just like his sister. He's very dedicated to what he wants to do, to the point of being stubborn. He would never admit it, but he's like his sister in a lot of ways. He can be quite self-critical, especially when it comes to his art. Background:
Elliot Arthur Silvers is the oldest of the two children of Nicolai and Elizabeth Silvers. He had a pretty good childhood with a nice group of friends and a good upbringing from his parents. From a young age, he always had an affinity for the arts - drawing, painting, photography, any and all kinds of artistic outlets he could get his hands on. Thankfully his parents encourages his passions, and they are now how he makes his living. Though he's a more reserved boy, he was over the moon happy when his little sister Lumina was born. He doted on her as a good big brother should, even with her being sick. There's only so much a 6 year old can do at that point, so at the very least he made a bunch of drawings for her for their parents to hang up to make her feel better. At least, that's how he put it. Even though he loved her a lot, he couldn't help but feel some jealousy for how much attention their parents were giving her. Over time, he grew to resent hospitals, because to them all they meant was that his sister was sick and his parents had to dedicate more time to her than to him.

So after Lumina's most recent (successful) surgery when she was three (and he now 9 years old), it actually upset him when his parents announced they would be moving out of the city and into a remote little village an hour plus away. That ate at Elliot, because on one hand he wanted his sister to get better, but on the other hand his whole life was about to be uprooted. But being as young as he was, Elliot didn't have a choice, and the family of four moved out to Kore Village that Spring. As much as he didn't like having to move, he couldn't deny that it was actually really inspiring for the artist in him, even being younger than 10. Now with being in an unfamiliar setting and with no friends, Elliot became even more withdrawn and secluded, preferring to go off by himself and draw or paint or take pictures all day. 9 years later, when he was 18, he made the choice to move back to the city, not knowing that 6 years later his parents would do the same. He had gotten a really good opportunity to take an internship at a well-recognized studio, and didn't want to miss it. Plus, it seemed like Lumina was actually getting a little better, and had her friends, so he didn't really see the need to stay anymore. Once he moved back to the city, he stayed there for almost 10 years before he got a message from their parents asking him to move back to Kore. Turns out Lumina had decided to stay there permanently, and they were getting worried. Without even a second thought he dropped everything, packed up all he owned, and began to make his way back toward the village he partly grew up in. While there, he plans to make his living by continuing to create and sell his art both to the residents and to the city through the connections he made there.

Alejandro is 5'10", with an athletic build. During his time in high school, he ran track so that contributes to his strong frame as he had to remain physically healthy and strong to keep up in the races. His skin has a rather natural tan to it, though it looks rather pale. His eyes are naturally a bright amber color, almost seeming golden to some at first glance. Alejandro's hair is at shoulder length and in a ponytail, the ends of it being dyed red. He keeps the ponytail on the left shoulder side and rarely has his hair down in public. Aside from his natural appearance, Alejandro does have a tattoo. This tattoo is a dragon starting on his right shoulder blade and wrapping around his right arm, all the way down to his wrist.

Personality:
Never read a book by its cover. Alejandro may seem like the cold stoic type, but that's not true at all. He's actually a rather nice person and enjoys helping and talking to people. He's not one of those over the top, highly energetic people. Alejandro likes to have down-to-earth conversations about the world around him and what's currently happening in it. When he isn't doing anything involving other people, he is usually working on small projects of his own or taking care of his sword collection(he likes them and does extensive research but doesn't do anything else with them). When he has time, he likes to just go and sit by any body of water he can find and just take in the scenery. Never be afraid to say hello to him.

Alejandro had a normal life. Despite living in the city, he didn't often get into much and he wasn't a troublemaker. His parents were your average run of the mill hardworking people. They had to make a decent living for their two children so that's what they did. Alejandro would grow up and become a reliable and decent young man. He played sports, being on his school's track and field team and he'd play other sports recreationally. At some point, he did fall in with the wrong crowd but before he could be asked by them to do anything wrong he stopped hanging around them. The way he lived his life, he never saw any reason to start getting in trouble just because someone would ask it of him. As more time would pass, Alejandro would pack up and move out to Violet Meadows, preferring what life away from the city had to offer for him instead. He's been here for 2 years so far and hasn't had a single second thought and surprisingly hasn't felt homesick not once. There was nothing wrong with the city, but life like this was nicer. His parents often contact him and the same goes for his sister. He tells them how nice it is, though his parents seem uninterested in packing up now and moving. Evelyn is an intelligent young woman just a bit air-headed, the kind to look for her pen for 20 minutes while it has been tucked behind her ear the entire time and is too frazzled to listen to the poor soul telling her where it actually is. She is constantly seen carrying around a notebook in her bag to write stuff down so she can combat this. Despite her forgetful nature she tries her best to be useful and helpful, even if her excessive attempts sometimes make things worse without her realising it until its too late.   Makana is a woman of pure optimism. She tries to find the good in every situation and rarely thinks of the negative consequences of her actions. In her life, she runs off the idea that so long as someone's intentions are good that they will reach another and touch their hearts. Often times she fails to acknowledge that good results don't justify the means. A rose-tinted life is one she consciously chooses as she doesn't want to deal with sad emotions and prefers to just say, "Well it's gonna get better!". In some ways she lets her optimism become escapism.
  
  While it's natural that it goes hand in hand Kana is someone who knows how to relax and indulges in it quite frequently. Her idea of a perfect afternoon is one where she grabs some friends, go out, and play all afternoon. She an adult that avoids adulting when she can, even her job down at the coffee shop gives her plenty of downtime to go around and talk all day with the customers. While it could be said that she's being lazy or childish she'd easily debate that saying that she can put effort into her passions, always gets her work done timely, and that relaxing is human nature. Granted just because she's a functional lazy childish adult doesn't mean that these claims aren't true.
  
  Let an interesting idea or concept fly by and you'll see Kana come alive. She loves to figure out how things tick. A new robot, an interesting philosophical topic, or even a new type of fabric? All of these switches her into her most hyper mode. While Kana may be physically lazy she loves to think and dissect an issue, problem-solving and studies have always come easy to her.
  
  But one huge flaw in her personality is that she is stubbornly following her own pace. She rarely respects rules or authority, yes she definitely had a rebel goth phase, which means that she rarely holds down a job that isn't run by her own friends and family. She also finds herself starting a fair deal of problems without meaning to since she lashes out at others trying to tell her how to live her life or do her work. Ironically hypocritical from someone who rarely respects the boundaries of others.

  History:
  Makana Mayumi Roxas, a name but also a title, "A Genuinely Beautiful Gift". As the youngest of the Roxas, she grew up surrounded by the whole of her family trying to influence her decisions. Her parents though on the older side and caught through a few generational gaps when interacting with Makana never once failed to show their love for their children. Makana was doted on especially since she was born after the doctors had already said the parents were unlikely to have another child, while she was anticipated to have less than stellar health Kana arrived and stayed with a clean bill of health all her childhood. Unlike all her siblings that were born in the city, the possibility that their youngest could be less than healthy sent them packing for their hometown, Kore. It was easy to move back into the old house they left behind as the deed was still in the Roxas name. The house had gone through better years but the kids all did their part in helping fix it up and eventually, they had accidentally doubled its size. The Roxas family had returned to their ancestral home, one that hadn't been occupied in nearly fifty years.
  
  The house was back, but they still need money. This, of course, was clear as day. Thanks to their parents traveling the world in their teens and well into their late thirties they had more than enough experiences to bring back to Kore. As a solution, they built up Dream Drop, a place where the different areas of the world meet. While they were definitely getting older they would hold down the coffee shop for years to come until one of their younger children, Kalani, was old enough to demand that her parents rest in ease as they reached their sixties and were "Far too old to be burning themselves, go teach Kana how to cook". So Dream drop would continue on and they would take full responsibility for raising Makana who had now reached the young age of ten as they handled merely the business aspects of Dream Drop. Or that's what would have happened had they listened. Instead, they went back into their traveling ways. Their kids were now mostly of age, excluding Kana who loved their old stories of travel anyways, so now was their time to live as they loved. With occasional trips back to visit or take Kana with if it was nearing summer vacation, they left to explore all that the world had to offer.
  
  This meant that in between her life at Kore, filled with school and life's simple pleasures, Kana would be whisked away to faraway cities and areas of the earth that would be breathtaking. She loved it but coming back home was always her sanctuary. Kore was her rock, her comfort, her safety. While the world outside was wonderous it was also dangerous and on more than one occasion her aging parents nearly didn't make it home. Kore was where she would stay, even as her elder siblings moved on and moved out, either to follow in her parents' ways or to go seek out the life they wanted. Soon all that was left in that large house was herself, Ikaika, and Kalani. Even as KD offered to let her move in with him she declined instead wanting to stay in her home filled with memories, and if a pretty girl might have been involved as well then one can only blame Leo.
