Welcome to New York City, chances are, you're special. You can do things no-one else can do, but what will you do with your abilities? A massive crime wave has hit the city, and the police are spread thin. To save the city, you need to be Vigilant.

Factions:


NYPD: The New York City police department. Currently dealing with gangs, domestic terrorism threats, and the new vigilantes. The NYPD has corruption within it, but for the most part, the NYPD is there to help.


The Reapers: An NYC drug gang, the reapers are the main peddlers of cocaine, heroin, marijuana, amphetamines, and opoids. The Reapers are currently the most powerful gang in the city.


The E.O.M.: The EOM fight for one central principal, the evolution of mankind. This means their grand goal is the extermination of regular homo sapiens by any means necessary. Currently they've preformed three bombings, killing seventy-three people. The EOM are small in number, but have elite armament.

Fire - Flames, heat, smoke, and magma come from Hawk. He is able to manipulate the element, but hardly knows how to. No one has been there to teach him, and the fear of his own element makes it unstable, and likely the cause for his own demise if he isn't able to control it.

Bio

This lad was born to normal parents, but given up as soon as possible when he hit the age of two. The mark of his ability burned into his back in a black marking, and this scared the normal couple. They dropped him off at an orphanage, moved far away, and never looked back. Peter was on his own, and soon became hard on the outside, while scared on the inside. When he hit the age of five, his powers started to come in, and they came in with pain. Peter was left to discover what this was on his own. Some of the other kids in the orphanage found out about his genetic mutation, and mocked him relentlessly for it. He ran away at the age of nine and never looked back. Ever since, he has been on the streets, trying to find a way to both survive and hide his ability. Wanting to hide who he was, he took the name of 'Hawk' due to the marking on his back, and tries to deny who he is day in and day out. Usually Hawk helps The Reapers spy on other gangs and even the police for money.

Personality

Silent and distant, Hawk has learned to be careful and diligent with who he's around. He's brave, and willing to do anything to survive. He has learned to fight over the years of being alone, due to other homeless kids coming at him. Hawk is street smart, but lacks actual education. He doesn't know how to read but a few things, but has learned to write some over his years of vandalism.

Street rat; occasionally gets 'employed' by The Reapers for either spying or relaying messages to others
