A few RULES about the Character Creation Process!
1) No characters under the age of 18 will be accepted.

- This game is rated M for its use of fantasy violence and its allowance of unfiltered language, and the 18yo age restriction is heavily enforced by the development team. The VR gear scans your body and matches your facial image to any and all available information across public domain global databases to confirm your age. If you are not 18+, or your age of 18+ cannot be confirmed, you cannot play this game. Period. The software will not activate until your age has been confirmed.

2) Please adhere to the requirements listed in parentheses in Saya's profile for both the Personality and the Biography sections.

They are requirements, not suggestions. Enforcing a heavier writing load for character profiles gives me the best idea possible of who I'm working with in the RP, so please indulge my madness and provide no less than what is required in parentheses.

3) Be realistic to your character's background.

- This game is global, so your character can be from anywhere and any walk of life. But keep in mind that the kind of tech needed to run and operate this game is
very expensive. The game software by itself costs a whopping $500 USD, and the kind of Gaming focused PC needed to run it?... Easily a $4,000+ investment in terms of all the high-quality parts needed to run the game at its best without sacrificing performance and such.

In short this is not a game that very many "middle class" gamers will enjoy at its maximum quality due to the specs needed to run it at its best. They can still buy the game (and at $500 that is expensive as HELL) and enjoy it, but they'll have to tone down the in-game graphics settings and such to accommodate the stress it'll put on their PC.

4) Have fun.

- While the RP is based in a near-future real life setting, the in-game world in the VR game of Valkyom is medieval fantasy with touches of ancient, though somehow futuristic tech created by an unknown and unidentified race. This gives us A LOT of flexibility when creating our characters to really sculpt them to our liking down to the finest details. So long as your character is 18+ and your bio makes sense with a proper explanation of the character's background, you should be golden.

Saya is the personification of the words gentle, understanding, and empathetic. She is always willing to lend an ear and hear both sides of an argument or discussion, and will do her best to say what is needed. If she cannot do that, she will remain silent and bow out knowing there's nothing she can do. It doesn't happen often, as she's very good at finding the right words. But every so often words fail and only actions can give a person what they need. She is also very gentle physically, emotionally, and verbally. She almost never yells at anyone no matter what she's feeling, and uses a very soft touch to convey feelings whenever appropriate. A good example is when she found a young girl crying on the playground because she couldn't find her friend who was playing hide and seek, and Saya very gently held the girl's hand to make her more comfortable speaking softly until they found her friend together.

Saya's empathy is perhaps her greatest strength and noticeable characteristic. Being able to mentally put herself in the shoes of someone else to understand and sympathize with them is second nature to her, and she is beloved for it in most cases. It makes her very easy to talk to, confide in, and trust. The one time her empathy got her into trouble was with someone who was a friend who, because of a series of tragic accidents in her life, was incredibly closed minded and determined to see themselves as someone nobody else could understand. No matter how right Saya was in her analysis of the person's feelings and what they were going through, they insisted she was wrong no matter what and that she didn't get it. Ultimately it ended the friendship between the two which is something Saya deeply regrets, especially because this friend was becoming more and more isolated socially as well as depressed which leads to dangerous consequences if left unchecked. Saya worries about this individual to this day and wonders if they'll ever reconcile.

Saya is an attractive young Japanese woman who has always held a deep love and appreciation for video game development and design. She was born on October 24, 2002 at Tokyo General Hospital.

Her father, Hiroyosuke Tanabata, was and remains to this day an employee at a gaming company by the name of いしたば (Ishitaba) Co., a company which manufactures and distributes computer-related hardware such as motherboards, cpu's, and more. It was during the company's earliest years when it was still establishing itself that Hiro met an ambitious young woman named Yuuki Komae. Yuuki had drive, ambitions, dreams, and a fiery attitude which caught his eye immediately. He invited her first to coffee when they were put on a QA assignment together. What followed was a simple conversation about dreams, goals, and where they hoped to find themselves in life within the next five to ten years. It didn't take long to realize that there was more going on between them, and soon after the inevitable came when the two were wed. Saya was born approximately one year after they married, and it was a happy occasion for both parents as it also marked the year that the company really took off and became its own competitive corporate identity in Japan.

Because of her father's position as a high-standing employee in the company, Saya has enjoyed what might be called an "upper" middle class lifestyle. Her family is not "well off," so to speak. But they have always lived comfortably and without serious tension no matter the economical state of Japan around them. Saya's father made her work for what she wanted starting when she was young to make sure she didn't take anything for granted, and it had the intended effect. Saya's mother made sure that Saya remained focused on her studies and drove her to work hard scholastically so she had the choice of going to any college she wanted. While it was stressful for Saya to spend most of her free time studying and practicing for what she wanted to do in college, she had enough time to enjoy some of the simple things in life as well along the way.

When Saya was ten her father bought her a simple gaming computer with a few 2D games on it, and she never looked back. After finishing her homework for school and her higher educational studies, she'd glue herself to the computer wondering "how do they make this?", "how do they program that?" Even from a young age she showed signs of wanting to be a developer by questioning the very fabric of the games themselves down to the smallest details. One of the cuter series of questions she asked her father immediately after getting her gaming PC was, "Papa, how do they get people into the game? Do they have to pay them? Are there bathrooms? What do they eat? Is it real food? What about money? Is Gold really that valuable?" Saya's curiosity was the spark which created a wildfire later in her life after graduating high school.

When Saya entered college at Tokyo University, she majored in Video Game Development. However, despite her intended major, she took more an interest in video game music and story telling than core development. While she aced all of her classes thanks to her hard work ethic, she took to daydreaming much of the time about stories, characters, music, and the connection between all three of those and the players themselves. She graduated on a 2-year intensive program at age 19, and has since been living at home applying to various companies around the greater Tokyo area in hopes of becoming a video game writer, game QA specialist, character designer, or composer of video game music. She studied music composition on her own time during her years in college for stress relief, and she thus has a firm grasp on music composition and relishes the music she hears in her favorite games. She hopes to one day put it all together in a game of her own which she can release and share with the world.

But for now she's busy using what funds she can muster to pay her student loans from Tokyo University leaving her little money for herself to do much with save occasionally go out for lunch with friends.

Personality:
Saburou is best described as an excitable, impulsive, reckless, optimistic, energetic, and short-tempered girl. Due to her great determination, she is always up for a challenge, even if it seems too difficult for her. As Saburou is very social, kind and truly compassionate, people are often drawn to her happy disposition.Though she has little discipline Saburou is in fact very clever. Saburou is very creative. However she does not have a great sense of her own capabilities and her overconfidence contributes to a tendency to "look before she leaps". But her motivation to do her very best and is a positive attribute which others often dismiss as naivety.

Biography:
Saburou grew up in rich life style, sort of. Her father was the CEO of a huge talent company. Her mother luckily didn't have to work. Unfortunately her mother died after she was born. So it was just her and her father.

Even though her mother never had to work she did a have a hoppy. She liked taking pictures. Before she married Saburou's father she was a photographer. Her father would show her all the of the pictures her mother took. Since then she was inspired to do the same thing.

For sometime it was just her and her father but years later he ended up remarrying. At the time the woman seemed nice and treated Saburou good that was until her father mysteriously died. Her mother started acting different towards. She started treating her more like a servant then a daughter. She felt alone luckily though she did have her friends who were always there for her. Now she's 18 and in college studying photography just like her mother. And glad to be away from her stepmother.

Biography:
Haruki's life was mostly spent at home with his father after his parents divorced eachother when work became his father's sole focus. His mother returned to America while Haruki stayed in Japan with the man who provides for him now. Said father works extensive hours as the head of a company, pouring every moment of his spare time into work. This left Haruki to grow up socially-awkward and self-relient, with a cat named Mori as his only trusted friend.

Soon after graduating highschool he began online college courses, which he still studies in between sessions of gaming. He prefers he virtual realities of Valkrom to his own lonesome life as it's far easier to have friends virtually than it is to have them realistically. This upbringing did not leave him spoiled rich, as his father put most of their finances into investments and personal ventures. He does however make sure Haruki has more than enough money to keep him "happy". It's one of the reasons for him and his wife's divorce, yet she has yet to come back into his life since leaving when Haruki became 7.

Haruki's father will check in on the rare occasion he is off work or is simply too tired to stay in his office on the couch. When this happens, Haruki will sometimes leave the game for a while until he has made sure nothing big is going on, like a death or something that would require his father's return. He tends to keep his personal life private, and only discloses tidbits. However if they happen to meet in real life, he may offer more information on his history. He has no immediate family aside from his absent mother and workaholic father. Not to mention his beloved cat.

Personality:
Haruki has horrible anxiety, and often has issues in real-life due to it. He rarely leaves the safety of his home because of it and grew shy over time. He can be taken out of his shell when meeting others online if done over time. This is due to the fact that it's less intimidating to deal with virtual people than it is to deal with real ones. He relies on his mind in battles, and can plan attacks if he isn't pressured into it. Too much pressure can lead to him freezing up. He is easily adaptable to situations, tending to take the peacekeeping role. Haruki will speak his mind freely if it's permitted, or if he's blatantly ignored. He tries not to be too harsh, but sometimes it comes off as him being a tad bit of a pushover.

Personality: As he is the son of wealthy business tycoons, Nicholas wanted for nothing his entire life. He had no desires that would control him, no wants that made him desperate. However, the silver spoon in his mouth did not make him reckless and uptight. He has a sense of decency for other people, even going so far as to help the staff at his home with their daily duties. His moral compass leads him to always do the right thing and do it in a way that he would make sure no one ended up being wronged. He has learned discipline from friends he made in the past, allowing him to not run headfirst into any scenario. He is a hard worker and determined, setting a goal and not stopping until he reaches that goal. His adventurous nature helps him greatly with his determination.

Biography: Born as the heir to the Wilson Tech Company, Nicholas had a silver spoon in his mouth since youth. He had lived his early years in his family's mansion in New Albany, New York, receiving education from tutors and the family's hired help. He had taken a liking to exploring his family's mansion on his own, constantly evading the eyes of his babysitters and nannies to go off and see what all was in this massive home. When it came time for him to begin elementary school, he was shipped off to a private institution every morning with the children of other wealthy members of society. He didn't really take a liking to it at first, but school eventually began to grow on him.

Upon entering the age of high school, Nick asked to be able to attend a public school in the area to see if he liked that better. While, hesitant, his parents allowed him to attend a nearby public high school. This would be a place where he would make great friends that would influence the way he lived for a while. This school had too clubs that had really attracted Nick's attention: the archery club and the parkour club. The archery club is where Nick found he had some manner of skill with a bow and arrow. He wasn't the best, but he was a decent marksman with a bow and arrow. His natural athleticism allowed him to start at a good spot in the parkour club, though falling over something while trying to do a maneuver was a common occurrence.

Upon graduating, he attended M.I.T. for five years to earn his major in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Graphic Design. He had graduated top of his class with honors in order to become a game designer in his future. So, not only did he come from a wealthy family, but he also had the knowledge to build his own top of the line gaming computer. Upon the release of the initial VRMMORPG games, Nick took great pleasure in playing them for himself to help gain new ideas for different styles and types of games in order to possibly develop his own in the future if he had the chance. All during this, he kept up with his archery routines and parkour routines to keep himself fit for these kinds of games.

Or... Neither. Tiao is first and foremost a joker, always trying to get a laugh out of someone. Either by making fun of himself or making a joke so bad that people facepalm or laugh just because it's so bad it's good. That being said, he does know when he should draw the line for serious discussions, but most of the time he can't help but crack a joke to lighten the mood, although sometimes it does end up having an adverse effect. He is often seen in the game and in real life as carefree as a bird, impulsive to say the least, which makes it surprising that he invested himself so deeply in this game both in his time and his money. In other words, each time a calamity arrived, there was no question that he would be preparing blades and adding modifiers, in other words, the peak of his blacksmithing skill can and will be seen every six months.

Bluntness is his middle name, or would it be honest, Tai understanding the need to say white lies, but he often forgoes that advice, and speaks his mind. Not there is no filter, it is closer to that the filter is not working 99% of the time. He often apologizes when he finds his words accidentally hurt said person, not that apologizing helps sometimes, often getting into trouble because of it. Also, whenever money is involved, there is no doubt that you can get him running to it, not that he is one to cheat someone out of their money but he will be willing to do almost anything for the right price.

Tiao has lived in a modest two-floor home, slightly better off than most his neighbors, but definitely not millionaire status. He could get quite a few things he wanted as long as he played by his parent's rules and it was some sort occasion for them, like his birthday for example. Not that he wasn't without want, but he had the sense of mind that it was best not to mention it... most of the time.

Thus he could buy most things he needed, either solely off his parents or a mix of their funds when it's over 220,000 Yen. Not that they could spend that kind of money willy nilly unless it was some sort special occasion. So here comes Tai asking for a game for a sum double that and then some, first they thought it was one of his jokes until he said he was serious. Well, they didn't mind spoiling their son that was off to university in Sapporo. But... that was an expensive sum and he was impulsive, so there was no reason not to believe that he would just give up on this subject once he found something he wants more. Thus they said that he could use their next check (slightly more than before on his mother's suggestion) and whatever money he could gather up by the date of the release to buy the game to help him focus on a specific thing - even if it was 'just a game'.

Well, it might have been the most tiring thing he has ever done despite his school work, but he found himself working at an amusement park, handing out balloons to little kids, working as a waiter and busboy in a restaurant, and lastly babysitting at night which was a rather good end considering that his mental age could be compared to children. However, he did manage to get 220,000 yen after a year of work and cutting a chunk out of each of his checks from his parents every month or so. Not that his impulsiveness helped this change of lifestyle, usually living off of ramen by the end of each month but what did change is his greed. Previously a normal amount to 'Money is King' mindset, becoming a king of coupons at one point. It is no wonder that he became a merchant after finally having the game in his hands.

Personality: Since a young age Kensuke's family family had set high expectations on him, and as a boy of a traditional Japanese family he is a gentle guy, a straight A student, and an outstanding kenjutsu practitioner, he is the kind of guy who seems trustable for the adults and the opposite to the reckless youngsters. It is merely a mask he had learned to use to cover his insecurity and frustration, after the years he had become really good at hidding -or more precisely repressing- his actual thoughts.However, hidding, has also created a deep resentment to his family by all the responsibilities he had to assume and the many things he had to sacrifice during his adolescence, as he wonders and secretly desires to experience a wild and crazy love.

In any case, one of the few escapes he had during his adolescence were the videogames, where he found a place where he could be someone else, who didn't mind flirting with girls or joking around, a personality very different from the one he shows in real life.But sometimes some of his "Minamoto temper" appears, as he can be authoritarian, manipulative and completely indifferent for others, characteristics of his grandfather he hated but, much for his own regret, are very present in himself too.

Even when he wasn't a competitive player when he needed to fight he was really good at it due to the skills he had learned in the real world, he could achieve a high level of concentration even under a lot of pressure and to think rationally and estrategically in order to defeat the opponent.

Biography: Kensuke is the eldest son of the Minamoto family, a family of kenjutsu practitioners whose origins can be traced to the Sengoku Age. Although this noble past they are now just a family of media class, not very different from others as he had to wash dishes, clean his room and travel in metro or on bike, with the difference they own a dojo in Hokkaido and another one in Tokyo where they still teach the fighting style developed by their ancestors.

Currently the only remaining member of his family, besides distant relatives, is his gradfather, who is also the head of the family, as his mother died due to complications after his birth, and his father and elder brother died in a train accident when they were returning from a kendo competition. Though he pretendes he is fine, these absences are difficult to accept for him, he had only seen his mother in pictures and wonders how she was, and losing his father and brother was also losing his best friends.

That event changed his life because he had to assume the role of the successor when he was 9, until that point he had been a kenjutsuka of the average, this had been seen as a guarantee to avoid quarreling with his elder brother as the potential future leader of the family and heir of its kenjutsu style, but now with his father and brother gone, he had to learn that fighting style quickly.

In the dojos of his family Kensuke learned his first lessons of kenjutsu and still works to improve his skills besides being an instructor for the youngest students. It was the begginning of an intense daily training under the harsh discipline of his grandfather, in the rebellious years of his early adolescence that discipline was sometimes imposed through physical violence which had left scars in Kensuke's memories and also in his left eyebrow.

But it didn't improve his skills, as the pression on him increased Kensuke found a different way for fighting, he focused not on strength or speed, but in knowledge, particularly his ability to learn and apply different techniques and reading the foot work to anticipate his opponent's moves and react in response. In a matter of a few years his improvement was notorious passing from being a regular kenjutsuka to won 3 times the kendo national championship during high school, he is indeed an outstading kenjutsuka.

On his personal relations, though he is relatively popular based on his success in the kenjutsu he doens't have much friends and he doesn't go to karaokes or parties due to his busy schedule, some girls of his school had confessed their feelings to him, but he had systematically rejected them. That's in part due to his insecurity and because he is betrothed since he is 13, with a girl of Nagoya which he barely knows, but for some girls he is just a jerk.

His first contact with videogames was thanks to his cousin Midori, who spent a time living with him in Hokkaido, who lend him a couple of videogames which he enjoyed almost immediately and started to play, and while most of his friends hide dirty magazines under his bed, he did the same with videogames as he feared his grandfather could disapprove to see him wasting time playing.

Personality:
Erika is an extremely angry individual, some would say because of her early childhood while others would cite her apparent hatred for a certain family member. In any case, Erika is easily angered to the point of absurdity, hot-headed and untrusting to what some would consider an inappropriate amount. Due to a number of past experiences she finds herself naturally suspicious of intent and is constantly ready to pounce on even a shred of evidence towards what she considers to be nefarious means. Those she considers friends are placed under a critical lens far less than others, but even they must get used to her bouts of agitation.

She's blunt, unafraid to point out what she absolutely despises about others. Erika does have a very set moral code, and will defend those she perceives as weak from those who she believes act 'villainous'. However she shows no tolerance for those who commit what she considers foul acts, refusing to believe in any type of apparent grey area and instead viewing the world through a simplistic black and white filter. If you fail to land on the light half of that filter, then you are considered just as disgusting as every other being she views as wicked.

Its a mindset perfect for making rage-laced music, but in social terms? Its is grating to say the least.

Biography:
Erika was born into an unfortunately unstable home life, her parents finding more and more reasons to dislike each other during her early childhood. They tried to brush it off in front of her, tried to play the happy family for her sake. But as the years grew on the two found their toxicity became far too great to cover up. After witnessing one of their more violent arguments, her parents decided she should stay elsewhere while they try to sort out their issues. Her mother's relatives volunteered, and Erika was supposed to stay with them while her parents went to counseling for a month.

Then that month turned into two... then three... then five.

And so that was how it should've stayed for her childhood, Erika being taken care of by her Aunt's family while her parents continuously tried and failed to settle their differences.

That all changed when her older cousin came into the picture six months after she started living there

Having been interning under his Uncle for summer, Paxton came back to finish High School. A star student with an air of irony so thick you could shank it, he immediately became the very bane of life for young Erika. He'd tease and taunt her whenever he had time, finding amusement in her angry reactions. He'd lie to her consistently, taking advantage of her youthful naivety until it dried up as she grew older. It had become a game to him, seeing how absolutely livid he could get his cousin then laugh over how ridiculous he found it.

The crowning jewel of this onslaught being when he sat her down and spent four hours scientifically debunking every single childhood belief she ever could've conceived. In four hours he single-handedly tore apart Santa, the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, Unicorns and about twenty-one others.

Some of her classmates in Middle-School used to comment on how lucky she was for having such a smart and good-looking Cousin, but they didn't know a thing of her hell. Her anger at him bled into her school life, for every girl who would approach asking if she could introduce them became an enemy in her eyes. In order to keep from giving him the satisfaction of seeing just how much he pissed her off, Erika sought a creative outlet to channel her frustrations into. Crafting was a no go, she just kept breaking things. She didn't have the patience for art and found acting a challenge due to her growing blunt honesty.

Eventually she found something perfect for her, singing! Surprisingly there were many people who enjoyed listening to young chicks yell about what they hate. While her cousin went off to pursue real estate, she became a Niche Hard Rock Singer. Got herself hooked up with a band and desperately began seeking greater glory in order to eventually become more successful than Paxton. This is the same drive which led her to eventually purchase a game that he had gotten recently, seeking to conquer him through another medium.

Personality:
Paxton is disconnected from worry and concern to a frightening degree, being completely unaffected by things which may horrify or unsettle the majority of individuals. This is both a blessing to him, and a curse to others. Due to a learned ability to fake any emotion perfectly, he's made a hobby of pretending and lying in order to entertain himself. He takes great enjoyment in viewing and observing situations solely to witness the reactions others give, and the bigger the reaction the better. The problem lies in that Paxton doesn't care whether the reaction be positive or negative, as long as its big and interesting he will seek it out. But he's no idiot when it comes to influencing events, Paxton always seems to try and minimalize his outwards appearance in order to seem less involved than he really is. Usually he'll attach himself to more outwardly active individuals in order to leech entertainment off their interactions with the world.

In order to do this he's capable of forming and dropping personas on the fly, using whichever character model he feels most applicable to whoever he's attached himself to. He's capable of switching these personas on the fly, going from a sniveling lackey to a bland instigator near seamlessly. He's so good at adapting to situations that he's practically made a career out of it, using it to fund his hobbies. He's been manipulating, lying and adapting for so long that he could be called a prodigy at that, but it doesn't end there. Paxton is greatly intelligent in most academical senses, but seems dedicated to using that intelligence for his reaction cravings.

Biography:
As the only child of a well-off family, Paxton had all the resources and support needed to be an early prodigy. Perhaps he would've become a regular brainiac had he been home-schooled, but no. The moment Paxton began going to school he became regularly acquainted to the world of social connections, and was utterly amazed at how little he really understood about people. Being the intelligent and devoted little learner he was, he vowed to learn about people and come to understand their way of thinking. This was the turning point for him, for studying his classmates over the years eventually became more and more entertaining the more he learned.

With how safe and secure he was in his own life, he took enjoyment in hearing of the struggles and efforts of his peers. At least, that was until he began finding them boring. Too many people had the same mundane problems as the other, and he caught on to that trend real fast. It was near the end of elementary school that he began directly people's lives just to provoke more varied reactions, whether by planting a little lie there or a suggestion there. Soon Paxton found himself developing his ability to lie along with his tendency to provoke others whether indirectly or directly. This culminated during his middle school years when Paxton had the good fortune to meet an actual flesh and blood bully! An individual named Norton who harmed others physically or mentally to express negative emotions coming from an unknown source. After meeting this individual, he enjoyed the various ways they tormented others specifically because of all the reaction it would provoke in those around them. Paxton adopted a lackey position under them in order to get a front seat view of the entertainment.

Through a series of lies, Pax convinced Norton that he had a troubled childhood and simply wished to learn how to be strong like him. Not used to being held in such high regard, Norton allowed Paxton to follow him around during the day and they became something akin to friends. Pax made sure to keep just enough distance between him and his less fortunate companion to escape the punishments Norton would regularly incur upon himself, but as one of the Bully's only friends he made sure to help him out whenever his actions got him into trouble. Like a good friend, he'd make copies of homework Norton might've missed during suspensions, tutored him to keep him from failing academically, even offered the occasional tidbit on the Bully's victims in order to keep things... interesting.

Halfway through middle school Paxton decided Norton's antics were beginning to bore him and began looking up the boy's history to see if there was anything interesting his past he could use to liven things up. Similar to how he gained information on some of Norton's victims, Paxton scoured the internet for information until coming across a crowning jewel of emotional baggage. Norton was raised by a single mother who kept them both fed and housed by secretly involving herself deeply into the pornographic industry ever since her husband abandoned them when their son was born. Apparently Norton had caught wind and had been bullying as a result of self-hatred, blaming himself for his mother's choice of work.

Faced with such affecting knowledge for the first time in his life, Paxton was overcome to do what he'd never once been able to do before: Trigger reactions on a mass scale across not only the entire school but for every family member evenly closely related.

He leaked his newfound knowledge to the people... and he leaked every shred of it.

As it usually goes, the staff initially tried to discredit these anonymous claims as a smear campaign against Norton was started up by his once victims. Armed with damning evidence of the Bully's home life, they tore into him like a pack of starved rodents into a carcass. Parents were complaining behind the scenes of the negative influences Norton's Mother might have on their children, even though beforehand nobody had hardly interacted with the woman. Norton went from the aggressor to the citywide punching bag as all drove the nails deeper into him.

And of course, Paxton was played the role of supportive best friend easily. He saw firsthand as Norton began deteriorating, offering condolences and encouragement with nary a suspicion. Paxton reveled in the reactions, reveled in all the new entertainment he'd scrounged up for himself.

Norton and his mother moved out of town after that, the process boggling their tedious finances even more, but the student body would speak ill of him for the next few years. Paxton had anticipated this result, and though sad that his subject of indirect manipulation was now gone, figured he had milked that cow dry of entertainment. Wasting no time he focused on Norton's abusers, the ones who had turned on their former aggressor with enough passion to catch Paxton's eye. They formed a community of hate for their once bully, and Paxton kept track of them online as they continued harassing him across the boundless reaches of the internet. Seems Norton hadn't run out of entertainment just yet.

Like a show, Paxton kept track of their movements, watched as the anonymity of the internet emboldened them and spurred them to greater and greater lengths of harassment. Even he hadn't heard of hatred this deep until they'd been so willing to spread it as far as they could. But unfortunately Paxton's show was faced with an untimely cancellation in the form of a livestreamed suicide.

Apparently Norton's entire life had been thoroughly dismantled by those he once tormented, pushed to the brink he gave out links to all the sites they had made to harass him. Unknown to many, Paxton was one of the many who had watched the young man end himself. He hadn't expected his actions to result in this, but he was still grateful for being taken along on the ride. One of those watching had called the police once they'd realized Norton wasn't joking, but they wouldn't make it in time.

Paxton would graduate from middle school and go on to high school, where he would occasionally latch on to those he deemed interesting and continue to subtly affect their lives in order to be witness to their reactions and those of others. Halfway through high school is when his uncle offered him a fine learning experience...

...and when he came back he found someone knew.

A distant cousin living with his family, one who seemed quite easily agitated at that. Paxton immediately found enjoyment in how easy it was to annoy her, and decided to adopt the role of bullying older relative. However, he wasn't planning on following in the footsteps of Norton. He'd already seen plenty of physical intimidation. And so he chose to enrage his younger relative through use of his higher intellect. Whether by lying to her consistently or baiting her into unwinnable conversations, Paxton grew fond of the many ways he could drive young Erika into a bloodrage. He graduated high school and move on to college, always making sure to keep track of his dear cousin and making a habit of occasionally getting into contact with her just to rile her up. He likes to believe that posing as her source of anger really helped her get into the hateful singer mentality.

After college he would go on to begin his work in real estate, where his exceptional understanding of people, charisma, and undeniable ability to weave falsehoods made him an early hit. But it was as he began working that he found something interesting. He'd kept track of several of Norton's tormentors, most of which had gone silent after the former bully's suicide, and came across one in a peculiar position. A nerdy runt who had grown a silent bitterness during his time as Norton's victim, Steward had let his bitterness grow exceptionally after his former antagonizer's demise. Hating how powerless he was against someone physically superior like Norton, he became obsessed with the amount of power given to him by the internet. He became an internet troll who continued the harassment he once used in the name of vengeance, and Paxton took notice.

Stew became a pass time for him, similar to Erika. Paxton adopted a fake persona and became long distance friends with Steward and gained yet another front seat to drama albeit over the web. Stew had other friends, a chat group known as the Vulgar Vagrants, who also took great enjoyment from antagonizing others over the internet. Paxton was amazed, all the time he spent with one individual of less than stellar report and here had a whole slew of antagonists just waiting for a push. His alternate persona became ingrained in the antics of these internet trolls, keeping his real identity hidden and his real intentions discreet.

It was Stew and them who became intrigued with the idea of the upcoming VRMMORPG, with many agreeing to meet up in game and continue terrorizing others through it for giggles. Pax had played a few games in the past, he was a kid too once, but this seemed like a wonderful new world of entertainment. Hopping on the bandwagon along with Stew and the other Vulgar Vagrants he went about acquiring the necessary equipment. During one of his many online fights with his cousin, he just so happened to loose a mention of the new game he was going to partake in. He hadn't expected her to follow him in, but maybe she shall prove just as entertaining as the rest.

Chosen Weapon(s): Massive tower shield of black steel with gold edging. The design embedded to the front is that of the triskele. Towards the bottom of the shield is the chevron V, also golden. He wields his shield in his right hand, and in his left a knightly sword with a golden hilt and coal black blade. It's heavier than usual blades and shields, but exceptionally effective at deflecting strikes and oncoming projectiles. Additionally, both gear pieces are fireproof to some extent. (If you tried to reforge them, with enough heat and time you could, but a dragon's firey exhale will more thank likely do little to the surface of either weapon.
Preferred Combat Style: Tanking

Personality: He's spacey, he's clumsy and he's kind of a ditz, but Milo always means well. He's inherently gentle and feels it his duty--both in and out of game--to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Sometimes this means helping grandma across the street and being late to work, but Milo's so awkward and humble it's hard to stay mad about it. He's social and bubbly, but can't take a hint and self-destructs when put into embarrassing situations. In fact, the poor boy's friends find it hilarious to send girls his way and watch him flail, as cute ladies are his weakness. Milo's confidence doing anything is laughable, which highly contrasts his grace under pressure in physical conflicts. Should the boy drop a cup of tea into your carpet, he'd apologize profusely and begin to panic, falling to his knees and slapping a mountain of napkins on the mess. Carpet cleaner?? Water?? Throw out the entire carpet??? He doesn't know and will work himself into a tizzy trying to figure it out and remedy the situation. But if, in a dungeon, a hoard of zombies emerge from the depths in overwhelming numbers surrounded Milo's party, he'd dive in without a second thought, tearing apart whatever dared near his friends. If he doesn't have time to think, he doesn't have time to panic. Odd, but nevertheless the way Milo was built. He's humble, modest, loves to eat and be with people, and adores being useful to his companions more than anything--honestly, the boy's sort of like a dog.

All is well and good with Milo so long as you're good to him. He's easy to please so falling out of his good graces is a feat in itself; but make no mistake, towards those he considers bad or toxic people, Milo is like a whole different person. He'll give you the benefit of the doubt, choosing to believe you didn't hurt or betray him, or if you did, there's a logical reason behind such. If and when he can't find that? He will use his body as a physical shield to make you stay away from the ones he loves. If his best friend's ex shows up to make a stink at the bar, he will drag that scum by the shirt collar outside and literally toss his ass into a dumpster. He will get down and dirty pulverizing anyone considered a threat, even if doing so might break him down too. Milo is fiercely loyal and, whether you want him to or not, will take every hit to keep you safe.

Of course, when it comes to his own issues, he prefers to handle them himself. Milo remains reserved and insistent upon not letting others in, afraid of coming off as weak or bothersome. He knows everyone has their own shit to deal with, and would like to be the one to help ease that stress and pain and others. In Milo's mind, complaining or asking for help is detrimental to easing the hearts of others, and he hates that more than anything else in the world. He just wants to be a Good Boyᵀᴹ that loves everyone and that everyone loves, is that so much to ask?

Biography: The first thing that you should know, is that Milo loves Doritos. Like, a lot. To an unhealthy degree. He also loves video games, especially the full immersion types where you can jump into a new face and body and create your own adventure. MMOs, rpgs, sandbox games, they all have their own appeal, and are unique in their stories. Like reading a book or watching a movie, Milo feels as if video games are the gateway to another person's dreams. And everybody loves escapism, am I right? Better someone else's dreams than his own. So, despite his meager wages and hefty apartment bills, Milo scrapes together what little he can manage to invest in games with promising features both new and old. Now, how are Doritos relevant to that?

Well. Doritos, owned by PepsiCo, as company seem to love getting on the sport and video game bandwagon. Buy this bag to get your super exclusive fantasy football promo code! Or a free song on iTunes!! Or one of our employees' damaged kidneys! Milo tended to know about all the events Doritos became a part of, sometimes before the newly designed bags for the promotions had even hit the shelves yet. He researched it. Looked forward to it. It was one of the few ways Milo had any chance of grabbing top tier video games--the ones that hadn't been pre-used with scratched disks and chocolate spills on them. They were newly minted games that not only was he eager to explore, but the entire world still was. Video games were fantastic, but playing them with other folks just as excited as you are took the experience to a whole new level. And with how advanced new games were, with their nitty gritty details of getting sand in your eye and smelling grilled food fully enveloping your senses, waiting for them was nearly unbearable at times. Milo wanted new games like Sword Art Online and Final Fantasy 1,592 more than he wanted to breathe air, basically.

So, when the PepsiCo company partnered with the creators of Valkyom to give away specially designed PCs and games in specially marked packages, Milo was on it like white on rice. He bought every flavor, and input every code. And then, finally, it happened.

A once in a lifetime win. Amidst the boy's cheesy nacho breakfast substitute (because who really cooks breakfast?) was the golden ticket to Milo's new adventure. He snagged the grand prize (one of, like, twenty) and nearly got evicted from his apartment with the ensuing screams and shrills. That tiny little paper was his way to the biggest and best new game of, quite possibly, the century. So he went to work that day like usual, washing counters and stirring drinks at the local corner pub, not telling a soul. Then, the minute his shift ended, hopped on his bike and hightailed it to the post office. He wrote his letter of confirmation and sent it to the PepsiCo company. Six days later, he was hooking up his new Dorito themed PC and starting up Valkyom!
