backstory: He has a bacholor’s degree from the Leibenz university of Hamburg and a Masters degree in Computer science from the Soviet Academy of Sciences. During his three years in Germany, he was exposed to cheap yet reliable computers, video games & a new perspective on how things ought to be. Ever since he first learned about the basics of Computers from reading about its application outside of the Kremlin, he’s wanted to make a career out of programming or building computers. However, he wouldn’t see the fullest potential of such machines until he transferred out of a local college in his native Volgograd in 1978. In his three years in Germany, he saw cheap reliable computers, fast loading floppy disks and above all else, Video Games. He had never even heard of computers being used to make virtual fun untill he first laid eyes on a Space Invaders cabinet in a Hamburg arcade with some freinds. He has since been an avid fan of the medium that is Video Games and wanted to bring that to his home country. So once he graduated with a masters in 1983, he has partaken in one of the Soviet Union’s largest software & hardware smuggling rings as the only types of games legally permitted were Pinball, trade sims, Pong and rebranded Game & Watches.
