Friday, the 12th of August, 1988 Moscow
It was a sunny summer day with 19 degree weather, but the people weren’t enjoying the day as they didn’t have a whole lot to enjoy. A repressive government sabotaging their freedoms in favor of the collective ‘Proletariat’ and simple things like Toilet paper & Groceries always seemed to run out and state propaganda wore thin on those especially critical of the prevailing ideology. All this compounded by the fact that Illicit black market goods seemed to be more reliable than the legitimate goods sold in Government shops. Crime is rampant in the Capitol city as Mafias & street gangs take advantage of an ever debilitating world Isolated from legal markets and prevailing private Coorporations. The news media doesn’t report on crime, critics end up in the insane assylum and a bourgeois class has long formed in a country supposed to have abolished all forms of social class structures. In the city of Moscow, it’s eat or be eaten.
