A happy-go-lucky, bubbly and playful young girl, Nia is mainly characterized by her boundless enthusiasm. When Nia talks, many of her words may sometimes come out randomly without her actually giving much thought to anything she comes up with. This is caused by her tendency to jump into a different topic most of the time and her rather peculiar imagination. Because of this and her free-spirited attitude, Nia's personality changes according to her mood and she is prone to becoming a nuisance to the people around her, losing the point of a conversation, or even experiencing borderline anxiety attacks. However, Nia is more insightful than one would think and is capable of being serious when mostly necessary.

Nia is very open with her companions and quickly grows fond of them. Because of her motor mouth, she is very open to conversation and plays with her friends almost all the time she is interacting with them, making her a very social and likable person. She can also be protective and supportive when she sees her friends need it. She is also considerate of their personal space and respects their decisions even if she doesn't agree with them. She also has a very hard time admitting if she feelings for someone romantically. Nia is also easily upset when anyone talks ill of her family or friends.

Background: Nia's happy-go-lucky nature in part disguises any pain and stress she experienced during her childhood. She was born to parents she does not know, she was left on the steps of an orphanage. Where she was raised in the foster care system for years, never getting adopted. She became reclusive, shy, and never talked to anyone, she was well and truly alone here, as her friends showed up and left faster than she could realize. Finally, it happened. She got adopted at the age of 8. Into the Davion family, a rich and world renown family, with their money well earned in the field of aeronautics/aerospace, as well as some in public works and a few hotels/resorts that dot the Earth. Here, Nia received all the love and attention she needed. Maybe a bit too much, she was rather spoiled... however, here Nia began to truly enjoy her life, she did well in school and made decent grades. Eventually, Lockwood University caught her attention. So she decided to enroll.

Personality (at least 1 paragraph): Fist and foremost, Kazumi is a musician and an artist. When he is bored, he always likes to sit down and write a song, draw a detailed picture, or sculpt a masterpiece. he did this so much that his parents even bought him a studio. and you can bet that if hes not at school or hanging out with friends, he was in his studio. Kazu is also a fashion geek, always making himself look hip, sharp, and stylish. but above all this, he is a lover. he treats everyone he meets with the highest respect and has the manors of a gentlemen. he puts other peoples needs above his own and will sacrifice almost anything for his friends and family.

Background (at least 1 paragraph): Ever since Birth, Kazu has shown the immense gift to create. even when he was a baby, he would draw and paint with the art supplies that his parents bought for him. And as he grew up, his skills got better and better. so good in fact, that his parents sent him to an art school. there he skills got even better, always getting top of of his classes, but there was a problem. he never really socialized with anyone in or outside of school and his parents saw this as an issue. so they pulled him out and had him privately tutored instead. this was for the better, since when they put him back into regular school he mad friends.

When he finally made his way to high school, thats when the social stuff really started. discovering that he had an ear for music in his junior year, his parents had him classically trained in Guitar, piano, Cello, Viola, on top of his art lessons. Sure it was alot of money for them, but Mark was an only child and they wanted him to be the best he could be. His parents even saved Alot of money, since most of the instruments that he needed were already in the attics of close relatives that didn't know how to play or lost interest in playing. His acoustic guitar was from his grandfather who learned when he was young, but gave up on it. His electric guitar is from his Uncle who sold it to him for $100, even though it was worth a fortune back when he was a teen. And lucky for him, the viola and cello were family air-looms that were handed down through many generations. With his unique and rare musical arsenal, He became the star of all the talent shows and even joined a professional band. things were going his way

This life continued all throughout high school, him being the star of musical talent and being the top student in all of his art classes, not to mention making it to the honors list every year. but even with all this commotion, Kazu needed a break. with senior year ending, he got a scholarship to the best art university in the country, but he needed time to think. He knew that he would be in school for a long time, but he wanted too see what this world had to offer. Thats when he discovered Lockwood University and its opportunity to travel the world and be a student at the same time. He put off going to the Art University for a few years and decided to get some more schooling for his music, applying for the Jazz music theory and performance program. To his surprise, He was the only applicant in that category and he got accepted in no time. All he had to do now was to wait to set sail.

A very positive and happy if slightly naive boy, Suru is often happiest when surrounded by friends and family. Goofing around or just doing day to day things. However, his main characterization is his large sense of responsibility and his determination. From a young age he has worked hard to help his family and try to accomplish his dreams. He threw himself into any task or over any hurdle. Need more money? Time to get a second job. He received a c in math? Time to study more. He may be awkward and clumsy but no one can say he lack's in his stubborn pride or loyalty to his friends. Often trying to fix their problem's on top of his, he is known for taking on to much. Yet, does his best to accomplish it all. After all who need's sleep!
Suru is known to be smart but it doesn't come naturally to him. He has to study a lot to keep his grades up. His main gift's is in electronics. He has taught himself how to repair computers, tv's, phones. He love's to invent new things out of scrap metal and dabble's in hacking. He still has a long way to go but he dream's of one day making a career of it.

Suru grew up in a small apartment above a bakery with his mother and sister. His father had walked out on them when Suru was six and his sister was a month old. His mother struggled to keep a roof over their heads and smile's on their faces. She worked two jobs and went to night school. Yet, always made them breakfast and dinner and tried to protect them from how bad it was. Suru could see the stress his mother was under and decided to help. He got a part time at the bakery working under the table when he was twelve so he could work and watch his sister. Eventually he saved up enough to buy a second hand laptop for school and that's when he began teaching himself how to hack and repair things using to do videos.
Somehow despite how hard he had to work to keep most of his grades up he soaked up things like this like a sponge. His main gift was in technology. He found he loved to invent and make new things. However, he also learned how to cover hole's in wall's with plaster and fix a busted pipe. He took care of any handiwork his little apartment needed to save money. Only when the task was to big did he get help. He began gaining a reputation around the neighborhood as the one to go to when thing's needed fixed. And often traded his services for things that his family needed. If he didn't fully know how, the neighbor's knew he would do his best to figure it out and come back with a determined spark in his eye and his little sister in toll.
A lot of his money went onto bill's but he always put aside some. He wanted to save money so he could one day too school. And help his little sister so she wouldn't struggle.
He turned seventeen and then his hard work finally seem's to have paid off. He was offered a scholarship for the prestigious Lockwood University on an engineer scholarship. Now he just has to wait for the day they set sail.​

Weight: 127It Scrolls!Where to start with Kioko Fujioka? Well first off, she is quite sweet
and appears to be very shy. She can usually be found standing
away from the crowd, or directly behind it, watching with keen eyes.
Along with her unsocial demeanor, Kioko is very ambitious.
When she sees something that she wants, she will do absolutely
anything to get it. While in the process of working towards
her goals, she can become very impulsive and do things
on a whim. This impulsive nature has a tendency to get Kioko into
quite a bit of trouble.

Although most people have their flaws, Kioko has an
overwhelming amount. Her outward sweet nature, is challenged
by her inward thoughts of judgment and narrow-minded ways.
Along with that, Kioko is also unpredictable, she could lash out at
any moment. Though Kioko does prefer to keep these negative trait
away from other people, she does have moment where her true
feelings become very apparent.

Even though she seems like an outstanding, lovable girl, everything
is not what it seems.
Kioko's parents ruled her household with an Iron fist, putting their
own thoughts and beliefs into her mind. They refused to even let
Kioko create her own thoughts. She grew up being told exactly what
to do and what to think, this set in stone her present day self.
"Be sweet on the Outside, and real on the inside" her mother always
told her... As did her mother's mother, and so on. Everyone women in
the family had been raised the same way.

Kioko's family was strange to say the least, which somewhat
helped her in high school career. They pushed her to become
the very best student she could, in order to impress those who
were worth impressing. Once Kioko had gotten herself through the
hell hole of high school, picking her college was easy. She just
went wherever her former school mates went. It was no
surprise when the college sent her the letter saying that she was
accepted, in fact her parents were not even excited about the news.
It was common knowledge that Fujiokas got into whatever college
they wanted to. Whether it be because of actual smarts, or because of
their threatening demeanor..

Personality: James can be easily labeled as a smartass when it comes to human interactions. He enjoys to push peoples buttons now and again to stifle his boredom, but knows when to quit once things begin to get to heated. The young man can also be a bit insensitive at times causing him to not have many friends, though he doesn't really mind that fact since he learned long ago friends only bring trouble. James has a very lazy attitude and usually likes to spend his free time relaxing or sleeping. Some would say James to be your usual lazy jerk who only likes to cause trouble, but sadly he has another layer he tries to keep hidden. His violent, short tempered wild side that has gotten him into major trouble in his past. It's rare for people to see this side of him, but anger him enough and you'll be the unlucky victim he snaps at next. Surprisingly though once he begins to warm up to people he can actually be nice, which to some has been rather creepy due to his usual nature.

Background: James was born and raised within the good U.S of A, though sadly he was raised within a bad community in Detroit. Dope slinging, shootings and the local gangs were basically an everyday part of life for James. He's seen the nasty parts of the street life and suffered from constant bullying from the local thugs that patrolled the streets looking for a fight. He lived with his parents and big brother, Jason. Jason in all regards was a caring brother who always encouraged James to do his best, though sometimes he'd have to drill a few lectures into James skull as he started to slack off in his school work. James mother and father loved both their children equally and worked hard to support them while working several jobs. James worked hard in school and continued to follow his families advice and examples. They may have lived in a rough neighborhood with barely enough money to get by, but James family was a loving one that looked to rise to better things. He couldn't be any happier.

Sadly though James, age 11, and Jason, age 18, awoke to see their death reported on TV, stating they were killed in the crossfire of a gang-on-gang shoot out. Both brothers were devastated and only began a long, painful decent. James began to slack off in school and get into several fights in and out of school while Jason was forced to drop out his senior year to help support the two. Both the brothers were in an utter state of depression and built up anger until it finally broke Jason into joining a local gang that was very well know throughout the city. Years after joining Jason had several connections with very powerful people and the two brothers began to live without much worry in life. That is until Jason caught James dealing and using drugs. The two argued and even traded blows until finally Jason put his foot down. He reminded James of the life their parents wanted for them and that he wanted James to go down a better path than him. James was reluctant to give up his drug dealing and abuse of drugs, but the two brothers ended up making a deal. Finish school and go off to college and if James wasn't happy as he graduated then he wouldn't stop him from reentering the "good life". Through the rest of James remaining years he passed with more than impressive grades and graduated without any problems, though he had developed an unpleasant, lazy nature in the process.

Now came the time for James to pick a college, but with his uninterested attitude he had picked a community college. Jason refused to let him waste his potential and with the help with a few connections enrolled him into Lockwood University while setting him up for a apparently new program. James left for Lockwood with a poor attitude, but he made a deal and he was never one to break a deal.

Likes: Music, videogames, pulling pranks, smoking (though he'll try and hide it from teachers) sleeping and surprisingly singing. (He'll also try to hide his singing from others since he'll do it once he's alone.)

Other: James can basically gain a good grade in any class, but due to his lazy nature he never tries hard causing them to be usually average enough to where people don't bug him about it. He also has a recurring nightmare at times from his past which will leave him in a sour mood for a day or two.

Personality: Jackson is a daring and adventurous guy. He's got a brave demeanor that usually gets him into challenging, spontaneous situations. In any event where the benefits outweigh the risks, Jackson will be there. You can count on him to run timed tasks since he also has a knack for improvising. The best part is that he almost always has a chill vibe even when under pressure.

Jackson has a cold exterior that can often be misleading to people who don't really know him that well. In all reality, he's an intelligent guy who enjoys having fun whenever possible. He's not one to fully express his emotions though. Despite this, Jack would give anything to make his family and loved ones happy. He's even kind of overprotective of them. The main point is that this sneaky badass is also a playful geek. Jackson's a paradox.

Background: Jackson Hayashi was an only child born from an Italian man and Japanese woman. His father was adopted into a Japanese household at a young age, but moved to America in search of his biological family. That's why Jack was raised with an understanding of three completely different cultures. Aside from the first generation American life, Jackson's parents were always protective of him since he was an only child. This was unfortunate for the guy since he naturally enjoyed going on adventures and daring challenges.

Despite his parents' judgements, Jackson usually left behind their backs to do all the fun stuff he still does to this day. Eventually he even discovered his passion and talent for Marketing. After that, it wasn't long until his father found his biological family, the Deangelos. The Deangelos owned the top of the line cruise chain of the century. It wasn't a coincidence when they were notified about Lockwood University's interest in a study abroad program. By that time, Jackson was already a first year at the university. He ended up becoming the liaison between the university and his family's operations for a while before any part of the study abroad program was even publicized.

Lunabï Skylar is a loner. She always has been, ever since she was a toddler and never wanted to interact with anyone. Even her own sister. It's not that she has social problems, she prefers solitude and silence over social noise. When interacting with others, she becomes timid and speaks quietly. She isn't really scared, just a little shy and not used to interacting with others.

Background (at least 1 paragraph):

Lunabï grew up with her older sister and loving parents. Her family had inherited a fortune from Lunabï's grandparents, her mother's parents, after they passed away a few years ago due to ill health. Surprisingly, the loss of her parents did little to faze her mother, since she knew the deterioration of their health, although she did break down during their funeral. Badly. Her older sister took the loss harshly, not attending school and spending most of her time crying silently in her mother's arms. Lunabï didn't spend much time with her grandparents, so she wasn't really affected by the loss.

Eventually, her older sister, by the time she'd finished grieving, it was too late for her to return to school, so her parents sent her to the University along with herself. Someone needed to keep an eye on her. Lunabï loves her sister, deep down, she'd want to keep an eye on her, yet she wanted to stay behind, even though her parents said otherwise.

Asha is the type of person who looks at the world through rose tinted glasses. She has the ability to see the good in bad or sad situations. Asha is a social butterfly who loves to be surrounded by a group of loved ones and friends. She thrives off of their positive attentions and affection. Asha is definately a dreamer. She believes that one can do anything they put their mind to and in the end everything will be okay. She usually has a hard time saying no to others. She's doesn't like upsetting people and try's to spare their feelings if she can. Some people see her as old because she has very different taste. Asha loves to talk about conspiracy theories and the mysterious deep sea and all it's creatures. She has a love of bad jokes and puns. Some can be funny but most of the time it makes people roll their eyes. Asha has a child-like wonder about her, she loves to explore new things and play made up games.

Asha is of mixed heritage. Her mother hails from Ghana while her father is Japanese. The two of them met while her mother was traveling abroad for her senior trip in high school. When the two of them met there was an instant connection. They started out as friends and eventually they got together. Asha was not a planned baby but she was a nice surprise to them. Her mother decided to move in with her father to rise their baby girl together. It wasn't easy for them since it was their first time parenting. They did a good job, or at least they think so because of how nice their daughter turned out. In school she was a energetic and bubbly little thing. She made friends easily enough. Her grades were good and she became involved in clubs like astromy and student council.

She's a little bit of a flirter, she'll drop a few one liners when around boys she likes. Or girls. Doesn't bother her.

When around her sister, she'll often speak for her and be more quiet.

Chasity is the eldest sibling, much older than her little sister Lunabï. She grew up playing guitar and singing, her grandparents being gifted in music and her mother being a folk singer. She loved cars too, she had two toy Lamborghinis she loved to play with and smash against each other. Her grandparents passing took a huge toll on her and made her very depressed and isolated herself in her room a lot of the time, crying silently over the guitar her grandfather had given her. It was her very first guitar. It took her over a year to adjust and grieve, still having moments of sadness to this day.

He's got all the qualifications to be where he's at today. Usually the professor would prefer to have things done his way. He's pretty strong inside and out so it's a challenge to sway his mind or try to break him. All in all, Zenjiro is a helpful man who is pretty stern with a surprising side to him.

Personality: Being sweet, kind and generous upon meeting someone new, Sara tends to be rather plain to those she meets. She can easily pass off for the type of person who seems to have nothing interesting about them. Although she is lighthearted and easygoing, she's lethargic and doesn't enjoy putting effort into things that don't seem to have any value; in other words, she doesn't like partaking in what she considers "time-wasting" activities (e.g. hobbies). Preferring to be on the sidelines than actually participating in the game, she might be what some may describe as the side character in a story. In spite of dedicating a great deal of time to studying, Sara has always achieved average grades throughout her academic career. When it comes to her friends or loved ones, she keeps her distance from most people for fear of hurting herself or them. She is definitely an over-thinker, and struggles to deal with anxiety.

Background: Sara is the only child of her two parents, both of whom come from Japanese families of wealthy business folk, most of whom have acclaimed success. Her parents weren't of the strict kind. In fact, they were rather uninterested in Sara's life entirely. They let her do as she wished. The only concern they had was of her studies and her future. They expected her to follow after the family's wealth and have a successful career; they encouraged her to pursue business-related studies and such. However, Sara's ambitions were contradictory to her parents'. She wished to travel the world and discover what she really wanted to do; something of which she couldn't quite settle on. After all, Sara had no specific interest in anything, but the last thing she wanted to do was become the type of person who followed after what her family expected her to do as opposed to discovering what she liked. Coming upon Lockwood University, Sara applied and was accepted soon after, content with what the program had to offer.

Edwards' life of being kept away from other children meant that he has little to no social awareness. All he has to go off of are the movies and the shows that he watched during his free time. He will not be able to control a conversation and where it goes and will most likely not pick up on a few social cues, no matter how much he might actually enjoy talking to people. This does not mean he is an oblivious idiot however. Edward is a very vigilant and a perceptive person, often noticing small details in his surroundings. Due to his parenting, he is obsessed with the idea of perfection and tries his hardest to be perfect in every single regard that he cares about. This leads to small mistakes and inconveniences annoying him much more than they would a normal person. An outright failure at anything he had genuinely attempted to accomplish would deliver a severe blow to his morale. He is very determined when it comes to accomplishing a goal that he has set his mind to. If anything stands in his way of accomplishing that very goal, Edward will gladly step over it. He seemingly disconnects himself from his mind and becomes a living machine once he works.

Edward was born in the UK to an english mother and a german father. Due to the enormous wealth of his parents, Edward did not really know much hardship growing up. He did not really know much of the outside world either, due to him being confined to the massive house of his parents. He was not allowed to go to school, nor was he allowed to linger outside for much long. This forced him to focus on his studies as there was not much else for him to do. With private teachers coming all the way to his house to teach him the greatest techniques, Edward was obviously above his peers in terms of academics to say the least. From birth, he was set up for perfection and anything less than that would garner negative feedback and punishments.

He was not always a bookworm however. Along the way, Edward grew a liking to the musical instrument known as the Violin. The elegance of it and how incredible it sounded when a real master played it, were the primary reasons as to why he preferred it. His parents agreed that such an instrument would be perfect for him, and so they decided to have him study the violin on top of his classes. After quite a span of time, Edward's practice, dedication and the money of his parents lead to him being nothing short of incredible with the violin. He also picked up the game chess like this, although his main focus was his violin, apart from his studies of course.

It was finally time for him to wander out to the outside world and start living on his own. It was at this time that his parents feared that Edward's lack of experience when dealing with the outside world and its denizens would only prove to be a massive challenge. And it was for that reason that they decided to send him to this very university. It would allow him to interact with people, get to visit parts of the world he had never been in, and further continue his studies, all at the same time.

Studious and calculating, Konaji is an intellectually prideful young adult who had originally viewed herself both as sub-human due to their connections to the mafia, and superior in a sense of life experience. Reluctant to admit to any mistakes, she is often cold, blunt, and reserved, but deviously manipulative if it comes to play to their amusement or benefit. Even with a semblance that seems to be well antagonistic and self-righteous with little empathetic regards to others, at root she greatly enjoys the attention it may cause and the sociological and psychological reactions that she can gauge out of people.

Konaji displays a high level of intellect, often showing herself to be intelligently competent and insightful, especially through means such as investigation or puzzle-solving. Yet her strained ability to socialize with others without feeling a need for self-gain and tense paranoia in social situations serves at fault, as her intellectual arrogance is almost immediately shut down among groups or any group interaction.

Apathetic to most situations, despite Konaji's calm appearance that seemingly disregards all situations, coming off as inconsiderate, she's very jumpy and quick to overthink situations to the worst possible outcome. With underlying paranoia and great difficulty in groups of people, her emotionless facade formed by preference to solitude is easily sent spiraling to panic.

Background
Born as the daughter of the Hana Syndicate, Konaji was fated to be a marriage tool at a young age. She grew up in relative isolation, typically surrounded by those that were in close relation to her father, in contrast to other children their age. Home schooled and trained in self-defense, she wasn't bothered by the fact she knew very little kids her age, or the strained and distant relationship she had with her father, as it was something she had grown up with most her life. The loss of her mother in a gun fight between both of her parents for reign over the syndicate wasn't a prominent factor in her life either, as she remained particularly close to her tutors more so than her family.

The tutor that was in charge of Konaji for most of her life as a child began to date a woman in promises to support her in her financial need, as well as her son. Suddenly coming into contact with Araitchi Yu, Konaji remained distant as usual, yet Araitchi thought otherwise. Pestering Konaji, who he met frequently due to the relation between Araitchi's mother and Konaji's tutor, it didn't take long for Konaji who had been new to the experience of relationships past that of a scholar to a professor to grow curious, and they became friends quickly.

Araitchi attended a poor rural school, known to be a troublemaker and to have rather poor grades. His troublemaking nature still stood, sneaking Konaji out often as children to play the dream that he aspired most- baseball. It wasn't hard for Konaji to sneak out, as her tutor had close relations with the one she was sneaking out with, she just never found the need to. They became a rather well-known duo around the school, Konaji only appearing for Araitchi's games, yet treated as a player just as equally when practice came around, earning them the name Yunohana.

After Araitchi's discovery that his amounting fame was due to his mother's illegal support, he cut off connections with her and the mafia family Konaji had been tied to, yet he had hesitance in cutting himself off from such a close friend. Konaji and him remained close friends, and close following the turmoil between Araitchi and his mother the Hana Syndicate began to face maelstrom between those who had followed Konaji's father, and those who had followed her mother, shot to death earlier in the year by him. In other efforts to cover up the event, Konaji's father sent her off to an aspirational school of choosing, Konaji deciding to follow Araitchi in their own concern to Lockwood.

Rough and spontaneous, Araitchi is an oblivious delinquent that certainly has more pride than desirable. Taking into great confidence his sheer strength, Araitchi's quick to try and jab at people or tease them, running into situations he's far too mentally unprepared to- usually having Konaji intervening his riled up excitement. Araitchi views the world to be more of a rough-and-tough place than it really is, quick to grow frustrated and enraged at trivial manners. Easily irritable, he has a habit of not thinking through scenarios and their consequences, yet too flustered and embarrassed when it comes to admitting that he's wrong (but he usually cracks at some point). Outside of his typical irritable and indignant state, he's loud and upfront to people, especially his friends, on how he feels, causing him to be considered rude or annoying. Violence is the first action that he resorts to, which is usually quickly shut down in a battle of wits or Konaji pinning him.

Not the sharpest tool in the box, Araitchi is a pretty below average student, having a hard time grasping onto concepts that he doesn't find interesting. Unlike Konaji however, despite his naivety to sympathy, he's insistant that those around him need to be as in good of a mood that he is, quick to try and cheer up a stranger if they seemed upset, asking people for lunch, or even a game of catch.

Background
Araitchi had a very loving mother, and was the only child between a mother and a father. Yet he wasn't conceived with his fathers genes, but a one night stand that his mother had due to the stresses of work. Strongly disliking the prospect that his son wasn't his own, his father was neglectful and harsh to him, quickly leading to their parents divorce, his mother strongly disliking the animosity that he held towards her son. Aware of her mistake, she worked to try and give him a fulfilling life she knew that he'd lack. As a child, Araitchi had always loved baseball, becoming a big part of his schools baseball team. Yet the lackluster school known for delinquents and troublemaking, which he was well part of, didn't serve well in any record Araitchi had to move to another more prosperous school for sports, as his mother lacked the finances in order to support a grand education for him. Araitchi was a natural athlete, while a bit clumsy and not the smartest, his love for sports held since he was a child.

Falling in love with a man who worked the day job as a university therapist, she often indulged her love and care for her son in him, explaining how it would be in her best wishes if he lived a life that she couldn't afford for him. The therapist she had fallen for offered her a means to reach that goal, yet it mafia connections would be a route that she would never be able to recover from. Agreeing for both her own health and Araitchi's less than aspirational future, sudden scholarships and merits began flooding the school for Araitchi's recreational success, where he quickly began changing schools for baseball.

Meeting a girl named Konaji, Araitchi's constant change of schools left him hard to maintain a close network of friends, as he was unable to tell when he was moved. With the same girl coming over, he was insistent on making friends with someone that didn't appear was going to leave. While she was cold at the start and refused to speak to him, it didn't take long before he managed to urge her to his game practices, and let her participate as well. Becoming a close friend and someone to beg for homework help, Konaji and Araitchi became the Yunohanas, famous around various schools for their baseball record.

Growing older, Konaji admitted to him one day that he deserved to know the state of his own life. Telling him the means in which his mother afforded for his schools, and his achievements, it broke Araitchi's heart that as much as he loved his mother, it wasn't his own talent that got him into a prodigious school, bur money from the mafia. Getting into a heated fight with his mother, unable to listen to her reasoning, he cut contact with her and moved schools once more for his sports record, accepted into Lockwood the upcoming year.

Personality: Kasumi often times lose her anger and is hot tempered no matter how hard she tries to control it. Often times, she will yell (though never resort to violence) when stressed out. She might yell or even blame someone who isn't to blame. No matter what the reason she was yelling though, it often ends in her crying and apologizing. She doesn't like to yell at people and feels bad afterwards. Her temper goes along with her patience; she gets frustrated easily and impatient in situations. However, this is different when it comes with people. With people or animals, she is often times patient, kind and understanding. Despite getting fed up easily, Kasumi truly cares about others and tries to see the good in everyone. However, it is hard for her to make friends or fit in because she is extremely shy and awkward. Once you are her friend, she tries to get along with everyone and often has a good sense of humor and is sarcastic. She is very sentimental though some see her as being 'soft'. She is quite intelligent though and is a listener.
Background: Kasumi had a simple life, her family was poor but she never minded it. They made enough to survive and slowly would save up money. Every year, they would save up enough money to go on a family camping trip. She is a single child so even with the money that they had, her parents tried to spoil her as much as possible. Her father wasn't always this way, before she was born, he was in the military for several years. He had decent money but that was taken away when he got dishonorably discharged from the military. Kasumi blames herself for her parent's loss of income since it wasn't until after she was born (due to birth complications) that they began to struggle. Unable to find a well paying job after her father lost his place in the military, they had to move away from the city to afford a place. However, her parents were happy even without money. That was until one day when she was ten and her parents got into a terrible car accident. Besides some brain damage, her mother recovered just fine while her father died. Before her father died, he had written a will for them. It was a small fortune saved up but it didn't last long as it was mostly used to pay their hospital bills in the car crash. However, there were a few personal items, one which Kasumi was given personally: a sword her father was given and had been in their family for generations (sword in picture). Kasumi and her mother was poorer than ever but worse than that, her mother was different and had changed. No longer happy and often times depressed. Less than two years after the accident, her mother got re-married to a man 15 years older than her mom but he had a lot of money. So they moved again into a big house in the city. As Kasumi got older, she suspects her mom never truly loves her step father and has since lost the connection she had with her mother. Her step-father beats Kasumi and threatens to leave them if Kasumi tells her mom or anyone else. Not wanting her mom to suffer any longer, she stays silent. Kasumi has issues with depression and anxiety. Though she hates her step-father, she was so glad when he paid her way into Lockwood University. She's always wanted to explore and escape her only worry is that her step-father will beat her mom while she is gone.
Likes: Reading, writing, music, cross-stitch, animals (especially cats), dark humor, and sweets. She loves to be physically close to people (cuddling) and likes to give hugs a lot; only to people she is comfortable with however. She loves to travel (via plane or boat), learning new things, and swimming.
Dislikes: Violence of any kind, drugs, most bugs, going too long without a proper shower, bullies, loud noises, lightning/thunder, and the ocean. (As long as she doesn't have to swim in the ocean she is fine to look at it).
