He prefers not to fight unless he absolutely has to, but in case of emergencies, he always carries seven small throwing knives strapped to his thigh. Throwing knives which he, despite his lack of enthusiasm, is expertly good at using.

Abilities: Invisibility and the ability to alter the willpower of weak-minded people.

History:

​

Azazel's life has always been ridden with uncertainty. He is a natural wallflower, and very used to and comfortable with blending into the background. He has often wondered, if his introvert personality might have had something to do, or even been caused by, his power of invisibility.

Discovering his unusual talents at the young age of seven, he was at first hesitant to use them. An when he finally did, the consequences of his actions were so dire, it scared him from attempting it again for nearly two years.

Azazel grew up a foster kid. Shipped from one family to the next, he never seemed to be allowed a stable home life. In fact, it was in one of these homes he first started experimenting with his powers. Unfortunately for everybody involved, the home he had been in at the time, had not been a good one. With physical and mental abuse being rampant in the house, not only towards him, but towards the other resident children, he really could not have picked a more unfitting time to find his abilities.

In fact, he hadn't even tried to do anything when it had happened. His youngest foster brother at the time had gotten in hot water with their foster-father when it had been discovered he'd wet the bed for the third time that fateful week. Azazel woke to the sound of screaming voices and crying, terrified of what was happening. Cowering, unknowingly invisible, in his own bed, afraid to make a sound yet desperately wanting to help the child then being forcefully dragged out the room, he wished with all his might as he stared at the horrible man he was supposed to refer to as 'father' would just leave them both alone. That he would just disappear. That he would just die.

The police had ruled it a suicide.

Now, at the age of seventeen, Azazel is much less hesitant to use his powers to their full extent. Having found that he can indeed help other people without having to kill anybody, he's started going out at night, when the light is the dimmest and the darkness can hide his shadow, searching for any signs of trouble. Whether it be a robbery, or someone being attacked, Azazel finds ways to stop it. Usually by turning invisible and forcing the attacking party to do as he wishes. Of course, robbers suddenly turning themselves in only minutes after the crime, and antagonizes throwing themselves at the feet of their victims, apologizing, doesn't go unnoticed for long, and before he knew it, he's gained quite a name for himself.

But, with nobody to point to as the obvious reason for the sudden strange behaviors of the city's worst, people just began referring to him, or what they thought to be a him, as 'The Shadow' because the only thing people ever saw, if anything, was his shadow whenever his invisible silhouette was caught by a streetlamp.

Despite his less than fortunate past, Azazel himself is a sweet, albeit shy boy. He doesn't really have full control of his power of invisibility, meaning it sometimes kicks in without him meaning it to. Usually in situations where he feel threatened or afraid.

Abilities: At a young age, Lilly found herself controlling plants and nature. She soon discovered that this power was controlled by her emotions.


History/ bio: Lilly was raised in a slum, her mother a midwife and policewoman, her father an architect with an alcohol problem. She was alone for most of her life, feeling secluded.


When she was sixteen, she went outside more but ended up getting beaten up and mugged near a field. Her powers were triggered by this and she subdued the mugger, controlling the tree roots and wrapping them around him. A few months later, she had her first lesbian kiss, her powers flaring up and going crazy, responding to her hormones almost, scaring away her lover.


Her mother kept giving her marksman training after she got mugged, training her in non lethal gun combat. Lilly never told her parents about her powers but her father found out about her kiss, going mental at her. Lilly couldn't take it and fled, all of the stress seeping out. Now she subdues criminals and uses the money that's on them to buy a new home. She has more control over her powers too, now that her emotions are more docile.
