Many people have wondered about the world and even dimensions. Many theories have been made on the thought. However they are all wrong. What is truly the way of the universe......? Video games.
It was discovered a few years ago. The video game dimension. A place where every video game ever made lives. When the human race conducted many studies on that dimension, which they should not have done. Due to their studies something happened that was dubbed 'Full Data Immersion'. This dual dimension event was very violent, but to everyone's surprise, no one died.What happened was the video dimension and the human dimension merged.
This was a massively unexpected event, but what was more unexpected was the change in the basic laws of physics and even laws of life. Every person seemed to have been merged with already created video game characters. Everything became like a video game. There were save points on the streets. Everyone had a status bar and a player icon. The world had literally become a mash up of all video games ever created. This gave people skills, abilities and powers never thought possible. However this new world was not a fair place.
All people got video game powers, but they were not all equal. In fact there were three categories.
Hench's: These are the ones who fused with the lower level monsters that every game is filled with such as slimes. They are as strong as they will ever be and will never get any stronger.
Alpha's: These were the people who fused with the main characters of stories. Their powers vary, but a few things are common. They are either at the peak of their skills or have the ability to get stronger. They are considered the most useful types.
Tops: The Tops are the most consistent type of them all. Yes they cannot get any stronger, but they are at a level so high that they are not possible to beat unless an Alpha is at their max. Not to mention a Top is that strong all together without any need to work.
With these powers there was no need to work. The dimensions mixing created quests and missions all around. Even in far reaches of space (thanks to scifi games). So if anything was needed they could go out and find it. Farming games, RPG's, MMO's, social games and any other that could be thought of make up the world where no one had to lift a finger.
Once the world had become used to the world as it was everyone knew they would have o learn to control these powers. So a school system was set up and soon divided based on the genre of game their body was merged with and the classification they fell under. This was to ensure everyone got the best help to control their new powers. Such is the creation of the Video Game World.
