Tajima Akemi
Hopping out of the cab at the U.A. main gate Akemi traced a hand along it's side around to the boot where the driver was already pulling bags out, clicking her tongue sharply she felt around for a moment then grabbed the handle of another case. "I've got it from here thanks." She said smiling in the general direction of the humanish shaped echo and while she couldn't see his expression she did pick up on the dubious tone in the driver's voice, the automated security on campus wouldn't have made an exception for him anyway.

After taking a minute to work out a way to tow and carry her bags while leaving a hand free for her cane she struggled her way along the route to the dorm she had memorised using her cane to make sure she didn't stray from the path and skimming off the sight of other people walking around the campus as well as the occasional bird.

Panting slightly Akemi dragged her things through the door into the dorm common area and stopped to breathe a sigh of relief, searching with her quirk she quickly took notice of the other people already there and straightened up trying to play it cool. "Ah nice to see I'm not unfashionably early to arrive." The sight of a girl in a wheelchair piqued her curiosity though she was hardly one that would take a seeming disability at face value.

Mitsu "Katana Zero"
Location: UA Dorms
Mentions: No one in particular

Mitsu had arrived to the dorms bright and early. It's not like she had much to do in the morning these days. It was a strange feeling, not having to train before dawn, always watching the shadows for threats. To eat a full breakfast, with tasty food, instead of a bland nutritious meal. But old habits die hard. Mitsu's dorm looked more like a training room, with straw training dummies, a station to maintain her sword, a spot to clean her clothes, and a place to sleep. The only form of decoration she had was a floor length mirror, and it was nothing special. Just something she brought on sale.

For the longest time Mitsu thought about just staying in her room until it was time to go. Indeed, she spent much of her morning after setting up simply training. Cutting through the straw dummies until she was able to get a consistent pattern of cuts, meditation, and body conditioning. But even as Mitsu did these for hours, she got bored. She needed to do something. She was even tempted to leave UA and see if any of her brother's assassins might try to attack her. But instead Mitsu chose the more sensible thing, and just left her room. She should try to meet some of the other students, or at least see them. And so the towering samurai ducked slightly underneath her door and went downstairs.

As Mitsu stepped out of the dorms with a bucket, planning to dump the waste water somewhere. But as she did, she noted a strange structure on the dorm. It was a giant ice slide. She wasn't sure where this came from, but this was an interesting opportunity for her. As she dumped out the water and wiped it down with a cloth, Mitsu summoned her sword to her hand. Taking on a stance, Mitsu slashed at the ice, taking careful consideration to slash it precisely. Shaving ice off into the bucket, flattening it, then shaving off more ice again until the bucket was full of shaved ice. Afterwards Mitsu walked back into the dorms where she noted a wheel-chair bound girl, a fat young boy, and a few other students. "This place is getting full."

Ryan was sitting at his dining room table as he opened the letter from UA, his sisters photo sat next to him on the table. He was crying as he stared at it and looked at the photo. "What if I don't get in Daisy? What will I do? You applied for me." he was speaking in between sobs. He took his finger and split the envelope down the side and slowly pulled the letter out as he started to cry harder. His sister had been murdered less than a month ago when they had sent in his application form, she had been there for him since they left America. He started to open the letter up and slowly read it word for word. "I'VE BEEN ACCEPTED!!" He shouted as he reached out for a hug, falling out of his chair as he quickly realized once again that his sister wasn't there anymore.
Slowly standing up he finally broke down he held his sisters picture close to him as he fell to the ground weeping uncontrollably to the point where he had passed out.

He woke up later in the day and looked at Daisy's picture once again, he felt guilt but also happiness, "Thank you sis, for helping me get this far, now its my turn to carry my torch." He stood up and started packing his bags with anything and everything he could find that he needed. Once he was finished he put his sisters picture on top and zipped up the duffel bag and holding a picture of the front gates to UA and blinking there.

He looked up as he put the picture away and squinted as the sun hit is eyes, as his eyes adjusted he could finally see the school. He smiled and knelt down as he unzipped his bag taking his sisters picture out and showing her the building. "This is all because of you Daisy, I cant thank you enough big sis." He hugged her picture and put her back carefully, zipped the bag up, stood, and walked right into the gates.

Finding the dorms wasn't hard but finding his dorm room was a nightmare, he was lurking the halls trying to find it but looked very confused.

Katja was focused on her furniture the legs they had grown and where they needed to go. She had given them a verbal order but sometimes keeping constant control was just a better idea. The golems were stupid if she told them go straight they did so without end. While they did understand slang and most expressions that were exact commands that was likely because Katja half commanded them with her mind anyways. Still mental connection or no if Katja just relied on a short verbal order of go to the room then there would likely be property damage as the golems looked for the fastest way to get there without a scare for what was in their way. Katja had been chatting with her maid, yes , but that was not enough to break the focus needed, besides they were close and Katja had narrowed her focus so that any others around weren't fully registering.

That was why when a boy came up to Katja she hadn't actually noticed him coming despite his rotund build. This did point out one issue with her skills to Katja as she assumed someone with such bulk would be noticeable to most people. Well he did seem friendly enough Katja had heard from the maids not all people in japan were exactly welcoming to outsides even if they were half Japanese. Heroes, were often more open in that regard given they served as public figures both in their home and out of it.

The boys words gave Katja pause. While she was fluent in Japanese, Russian, and English his stuttering did give her pause and made her have to think for a moment or two about what he had just said. She would have a similar reaction to English, though she was far more used to using it than she was Japanese so she would recover faster. Donny yang that was his name and he wanted to eat. Well who was she to reject an outstretched hand, Katja understood she should try to build connections here who knew who might be the next all might.

" It is good to meet you Mr Yang I am Katja Glinka. It would be nice to join you, though first a gift " Katja said her Russian accent plain to hear and her words more formal than normal signaling her mostly learning from classes which covered formal occasions extensively and only mild casual lessons. At the end of her words one of the maids went searching and soon found a basket. The maid held it out inside the basket were several Mangos each with a sticker certifying they were Taiyo no Tamago the most expensive mangos around fetching up to 500,00 yen per fruit and Katja was just giving them away. " I had thought to give them to the other students, but perhaps you can make something with them that can be shared?" Katja asked not valuing the mangos as wasted if it was just for 2, but a lost opportunity to make a good impression.

As Katja spoek she saw another girl come down from an upper floor and saw she too was being rather blatant with her quirk " Excuse me Young Miss would you like to join use we are going to either cook or get some food?" Katja called out again her overly formal way of speaking no doubt making her sound odd even if she was being friendly.

Donny was very worried his approach would've scared off the girl, or at the least have her yell at him for being creepy. That's usually what happens, or so he thinks. But instead in pretty decent japanese, the girl introduced herself as Katja Glinka. Definitely a foreigner, just like him. This actually made Donny feel a bit more at ease, and made him wonder if she spoke english. Though he's been speaking Japanese since he came to live in Japan, he still regularly uses english online both typed and verbally. His grandpa did always emphasis how important it would be for his career in the future. But for now he didn't want to make things awkward but suddenly speaking a foreign language, so he kept to Japanese for now.

Besides Donny had other things to worry about when the maid handed him some mangos. He knew fruit in japan was expensive, but when he saw the fruit he knew he was in over his head. These were Taiyo no Tamago! He's only ever seen them in fancy food magazines, usually eaten by celebrities and heroes. Just one mango alone was more expensive than Donny's whole PC set up, including the games he had on there! He gulped nervously, knowing that such a fruit could not be wasted simply by eating them raw, They needed to be prepared carefully, and deliciously. But how? What could he make that would do such a wondrous fruit justice? Ordinarily he would pair fruit with ice cream, but he hasn't done any grocery shopping since he came here, and thus only had the non-perishables he had carried with him from home. And pairing such an expensive fruit with what amounted to peasant food was.... Well that was kind of on brand for Donny, but he wanted to set a better example for Katja.

Darting his eyes around the room, Donny was trying to think of what to do. Something he could do. What could he make? He was just going to heat up some ramen noodles, but with a fruit this fancy he needs to do something special! That's when he remembered something: he had potatoes. While not a main crop that his village grows, his neighbor had some potatoes that they gave to Donny, knowing that he loves to cook them into croquettes. And that's exactly what he'll make with these mangos! "Um... Okay! I know w-w-w-what I'll do!" Donny says as he takes a deep breath.

Despite his shyness around normal people, even a monster had their pride. Donny may not be a hero yet, and he may not be good with people. But if there was one thing that he could do well, one thing that he could do proudly, it was cook. Despite being a monster who could eat literal waste and find it delicious, Donny also had a taste for the finer things in life. That's why he knew what these mangos were, even if he could never afford them, and always envisioned what he would make from such an expensive treat. And now that dream was a reality. This was the opportunity Donny came to UA for: his dedication and training has prepared him for this. Suddenly Donny looked a lot more confident. Even his stuttering was gone. Turning to Katja, as well as the other girl she was speaking to, Donny began to move towards the kitchen. "I'll cook something good in the kitchen! Just wait here please!"

Donny entered the kitchen, looking around at the work space. Plenty of room for him to work with. Putting his things down Donny geared up for the battle ahead. He put on his headband that said "Chef" on it, as well as his apron. He went to wash his hands, but even so he put on a pair of gloves he always wears for cooking. But that wasn't all. While this was no life-or-death situation, Donny's pride as a person was on the line, and so he could not hold back. From beneath his shirt, four black tendrils appeared from his back, with what appears to be bones that occasionally peeked out from the tar-like substance. But they too slipped into some gloves, effectively giving Donny six arms to cook with. Anyone who was watching him closely may also observe eyes near the ends of his arms, which enable him to see and pay attention to what his other hands were doing. This was important because he had a lot of work to do.

First and foremost, he needed to boil some water. Fortunately for him he did bring his own cook ware, so he filled two pots half-way with water from the sink and set them on the stove to heat up. Meanwhile his main hands were busy peeling potatoes. Even though he was using a regular store-brought kitchen knife, he cut these potatoes with practiced precision, doing his beast not to take off too much chunks from the potato itself. The last set of hands went to work on the mangos, carefully peeling the skin open and dicing the succulent flesh inside. Donny had a bit of a hard decision to make: does he make these big and risk not having enough, or make them small but don't make them very satisfying? But when it came to cooking, Donny was able to make decisions quickly. He decided that because these were Taiyo no Tamago, which were already rich in flavor, they needn't be too big. Even a small cube would have more flavor than a typical mango would, and if anything Donny needed to adjust his recipe to not overpower the taste of the fruit with the oil or sauce. And so Donny would have a set of hands cut up the fruit into small cubes, carefully arranging them on a plate for preparation.

Despite his size and extra appendages, Donny made sure not to occupy much space in the kitchen, basically just working right next to the stove. He even made sure to keep the potato peels in a bowl instead of throwing them into the trash, since he plans to eat them later as chips, and only indulges on snacking on the mango peels since he needed to get an idea of the Taiyo no Tamago flavor profile. It does look rather strange though, as Donny was big enough to obscure what he was doing in the kitchen unless you were right next to him. It doesn't help that as he was focused on cooking instead of maintaining his form, his body began to slowly but surely look more bloated and dumpy than it usually does, maintaining a humanoid shape largely in thanks to his skin suit. More tellingly his facial expression went slack jaw, once again showing that he wasn't paying too much attention about maintaining his form as he focused on cooking. At least he had enough control over his body to prevent his fluids from drooling from his mouth.

Haruna Sagisu
Even the stars themselves will pale in comparison to my stardom.

If she was being honest, young Haruna had been packing since the day she submitted her application. While the young ball of energy returned to her room, it wasn't to pack, but to tell all her friends that she had made it into UA. Haruna took a picture of her acceptance letter and sent it to her small friendship group, which had consisted of about the same 5 people for the vast majority of her life, despite her eccentric personality turning off many people.

Haruna gathered her belongings and took one last look around the room. It would be a long time before she saw this room again, and the many memories it held brought a tear to the girl's eye. She had spent the majority of her adolescence in this room, and every step of her journey had begun and ended here. Wiping away her tears, Haruna exited her room and bowed to it, bidding farewell to her childhood.

Haruna returned to the main training room with a mix of excitement and sadness. It was strange because she had assumed that going to UA would be a joyful experience, but it wasn't until she took a moment in her room that everything clicked. Practice had begun in the main training room, and it was being led by the nine, but Master Wu was nowhere to be found. Haruna nodded to the nine, not knowing how she was going to get to UA. Master Wu's Dojo was in Mustafu, so she didn't have to travel as far as many, but walking was out of the question with two heavy bags.

"Well I'm off."
Haruna left the dojo, turning and bowing; she didn't have a plan yet, but she'd get there eventually. Haruna took a moment to drop her bags; she considered calling her father to get there, but honestly, she couldn't think of a worse way to begin her life at UA. Instead, she sent him a message simply stating that she had arrived at UA after realizing she would have left him in the dark, which she was only half tempted to do. A hand on her shoulder startled her, but seeing the person's face brought a small smile to her face; if there was anyone she could always count on, it was Master Wu.

"You're going to run there, huh?"
"I mean, I couldn't think of a better plan."
The sound of keys giggling next to her ears caused her to mentally face-palm; she had completely forgotten he even owned a car.
"And to think you weren't even going to say goodbye, that's just mean, who brought you up to be such a brat?"
Master Wu didn't exactly raise her from birth, but he had helped her through a lot of her adolescence and had been more of a father figure to her in recent years than her own father had been.

"Are you ready to go, kid?"
Haruna took one last look at the Dojo before covering her face with a bright smile.
"Let's go!"
Her voice and face betrayed her joy, but she was still wary that this would be a big risk. Master Wu's car was an old-school, station wagon-style vehicle that was popular nearly 60 years ago but now looked like it belonged in a museum, and the high standards he maintained only added to that effect.
"Are you looking forward to it, kid?"
"I'm both excited and terrified."
"It's a big change, kid, but remember who trained you and you'll be fine; after all, you survived what I put you through."
Haruna let out a small chuckle, she was not as confident as Master Wu.

The small talk continued for the majority of the journey, which should have taken only 20 minutes but ended up taking nearly an hour due to a situation at the local bank that had just been resolved by the Crimson Dragon, according to the news. When Haruna arrived at UA, she said her goodbyes to Master Wu, who threw her two bags at her along with a third, much larger bag that she hadn't brought with her, but before she could say anything, he drove away. That bag was a punching bag clearly made for her, with a message inscribed from top to bottom on one side.

The message inscribed was:
"Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend."

It was a quote from Bruce Lee, a martial artist who lived nearly 200 years ago, and Master Wu had framed it in his Dojo. The punching bag had a small note attached to it.
"I saw your Dojo room, you damn minimalist, got this to help spruce up your new place, don't be too rough with it, it's expensive."
Master Wu had a way of calming her down, and it was as if her worries had vanished as a result of this gesture. She now had two duffle bags, a punching bag, and a walk to the dorm's worth of problems. It took her a while, but the small 4'9 girl made it; she attributed her success to her training.

When she arrived at the dorms, she was met with an unexpected sight: a massive ice slide that began at a window on one of the higher floors and ended near the dorm entrance. While the ice slide caught Haruna's attention first, her eyes slowly darted towards a second sight to behold, an assortment of furniture that seemed to move on their own. That wasn't all; before she even got to the dorms, she saw someone seemingly summon a sword from nowhere and begin slicing at the ice slide.
"Isn't this against the law?"
Haruna's mind spoke her unfiltered opinion, and the words almost fell out of her mouth by accident. Sure, this was UA, a school for training heroes, but isn't that why everyone should be following not only the school's rules but also the country's rules? Haruna couldn't believe her eyes, she had only been here 5 minutes and she had already witnessed the law being broken not once, not twice, but THREE times. Haruna walked inside, shaking her head.

The young girl was a sight to behold, with two massive duffle bags in each hand and a punching bag the size of her draped over her left shoulder. Her gaze was drawn to several people inside the dorm building; she knew she wouldn't be the only one arriving today. Haruna decided to say something to the tall girl she saw earlier, whipping a sword out of nowhere, jogging towards her, which really just ended up being a fast walk due to the weight.
"Hello, not to be rude, but using your quirk like you did is illegal; I understand we're at UA, but isn't that precisely why we shouldn't break the law in order to become the best heroes we can be?"
After that, the headstrong girl regretted what she said, but it was too late. As she waited for a response, she had a thought.
"What a great way to make friends."
It was a sarcastic thought that's for sure.

Tajima Akemi
Finding more and more people showing up Akemi elected to leave her bags to one side for the moment and join the throng, she expected she could entice someone to carry them up to her room for her in a bit. Sauntering over to lean on the kitchen counter she smiled sweetly then frowned slightly as she found the boy busily working away had somehow picked up a few more eyes that she could see through in last thirty seconds. "I see someone is already trying to see if the way to a girl's heart really is through her stomach, you're okay with me joining you right?"

Overhearing someone harping on about casual quirk use being illegal Akemi smirked and cut in with a singsong voice. "Objection~." Wagging a finger admonishingly she went on. "I think you'll find the quirk restriction law relates to their unlicensed use in public, U.A. is a private campus with strictly controlled access so that sort of thing can be left up to school regulations to decide, like how a totally unlicensed driver can go get a lesson on private property as long as the owner is cool with it."

Asuka spent the rest of her time before she crashed at the hotel. She spent the next couple of hours formalizing herself with this area at least so that she could come here to get food or other items when they were allowed to leave the school grounds. Once she was finished looking she finally chose a sushi restaurant to order takeout from before she headed back to her hotel room for the night to eat.

The next morning she takes a quick shower to help her wake up and feel refreshed to get a jumpstart on the day as she heads to the school. She checked one last time as she left the room that she had all of her stuff before she checked out and headed on to the school. She couldn't help but look up in awe at the hero school that stood before her. in all honesty she never though she would get to walk the halls of this fine establishment but here she was being accepted into the newly formed 1-C, this meant she would have to work just as hard if not harder to be able to stand on the same stage as 1-A and 1-B who had a head start on them not to mention they wouldn't be able to participate in the sports festival until next year, but that was fine that just means her new class would get more of a chance to develop their skills to give them a run for their money next year.

Once the car stopped at her destination she got out and thanked her driver and gave him a five star rating as he helped her get her luggage out of the trunk before he left. digging around in one of her bags until she found the letter that she was sent. She opened it and pulled out the letter and headed it over to one of the UA staff members who was at the gates for the new students that would be arriving randomly throughout the week. “A new chapter in my life is about to begin and I'm not going to let it slip away from me” she muttered to herself as she was granted to the school ground and led to the dorm room she would most likely be using for the remainder of her time here at the school.

Mitsu was just walking into the dorms when a girl came up to her and told her that she shouldn't be using her quirk. For a moment Mitsu was confused since she was just walking with a bucket of shaved ice, but then remembered that she had her sword with her. Mitsu did think it was pretty weird to call what she did illegal. Unless that ice was suppose to be there, which Mitsu doubts, she doesn't think anyone would really mind what she did. But as Mitsu looked at the girl, she realized that while maybe what she did wasn't illegal, it was still wrong. Mitsu glanced down at her sword and felt a tinge of regret. "Hmm... You're right." Mitsu tucked her sword into her sash, bowing her head to the girl. "I shouldn't have done that anyways. This is a sword after all, not a chisel. I shouldn't be using it so recklessly and drawing my blade for something as mundane as shaving ice. It's quite disrespectful to the blade and I really should have known better. So thank you for reminding me." She says with a small smile to the girl.

Soon someone else arrived to give a lesson on the legality of using quirks, but at that point Mitsu didn't really care. She promises herself not to use her sword so frivolously next time, and besides that this was a good chance to get to talk to these girls. "My name is Mitsu. Would you two like to join me for some tea?" Mitsu motioned towards the dining area. It also sounded like someone was already cooking in the kitchen, so Mitsu would have to be careful not to get in the way.

Hika looked at the girl in a wheelchair and studied her for a moment. Then, her words registered in her mind. "Oh, sure. Thank you for inviting me." She climbed in through the window and glanced at the boy that said something about cooking. Hika noticed another student addressing the topic of illegal use of quirks. I wasn't expecting to see so many students already. The girl in the chair seems friendly enough, although her formal talk is kinda strange. I'll have to help her with that.

Hika smiled at the girl and nodded. She created a moderate sized snowflake made of ice on her palm and handed it to the girl.
"Let me introduce myself. The name's Hikanari Ichibana. You can call me Hika. As you've seen, my quirk is ice. What's yours? Name and quirk, to be clear." Hika definitely intends on asking everyone about their quirks. She figured that would help her understand everyone's personalities. Although, that wouldn't exactly explain her personality, but it could still help a little.

Katja didn't expect donny to run off the the kitchen right away, but well he did so she was somewhat alone as not only was there the other girl but more people came. It seemed the school was rather lively. Hopefully Donny could cook enough for all other to share, if not Katja didn't mind buying a meal.
" Call some movers it seems i will be distracted" Katja told her maids and anyone listening might notice she was more casual with them in her speech. That was because the maids had corrected her about being formal with those below her status. Students were all on the same level so formal speech made more sense and in a way Katja just defaulted to it. Of course one person seemed to be of a different opinion than Katja the ice girl and another that showed up and Katja instantly noticed certain attributes of her. The one that disagreed looked almost like a zombie was that her quirk or was it make up. Well maybe not a zombie but her skin tone was different but not quite the deathly white of a corpse. Either way she seemed to be the rules as written not the rules in spirit type. Those were hard to deal with as if you stuck tot he letter of the law you would never get anywhere and letters of the law were writing to benefit those with power not the everyman.

The ice girl Katja had called to soon came over an introduced herself. and Katja noticed the other girl the one speaking to the not zombie girl was holding a cane most common for the blind. That was interesting UA had more people of somewhat limited physical abilities here. Well that just proved you could be strong no matter what and even a hero if you were smart and skilled. " I must agree this is private property and even if in public most will just give you a warning. it is the spirit of the law that is important to not harm others with your quirk and to not be disruptive" Katja said.

The ice girl Introduced herself as Hika which was surprisingly informal to Katja. Well some people did not hold themselves to ceremony, Donny had not exactly been formal, but he had been a stuttering mess, a nice mess but a mess none the less. That honestly made him kind cute in a way. " I am Katja Glinka and mine is words of creation, i bring things to life" she said gesturing tot he no inanimate furniture. " It is good to meet you, shall we join the others Miss Hika Mr Yang has started cooking some mangos i am sure he will be happy to have everyone enjoy his cooking" Katja half asked half suggested making an assumption on what Donny wanted. " Though i am not to fond of tea sadly" mused her mind made up she would join the others and her chair slowly started to move it's wheels by itself knowing where Katja desired to go.[/b][/b]

It was a while after his fallout with his mother. Obviously his father wasn't too pleased either, having spent most of that night listening to Luka's mother crying about how their boy was going off to die -- you'd think he was joining the army in the middle of war or something. Regardless, it didn't matter too much now that he was approaching U.A.'s front gates, luggage in tow, while his parents were likely now sitting at their gate in the airport, waiting for a flight to America. And surprisingly, Luka wasn't too bothered with that knowledge in mind. Sure, he may technically be alone now in terms of close-by family, but at least his family would be safer overseas.

A couple entire kilometers later (woah, what a long walk!) Luka arrived at the gate, taking a brief moment of silence as he looked at the strange new school in front of him. Once he gathered his bearings, he took one step forward, then another until he reached the dorm entrance. Not sure exactly what to expect, he took a deep breath in, slung one of his bags over his shoulder, and opened the door...

Hika shook her head when Katja called her "Miss". She started to follow her. "Katja, just call me Hika. No "Miss". Okay?" Hika's eyes were drawn away from Katja to the new guy at the door. She carefully studied him, and she had to admit that he was good looking. Although, looks can be deceiving. He could be a rude person, but then again from his introduction he just seems too cheerful. That's not exactly a bad thing. Hika finished studying him and decided she would sort of ignore him for the time being. Until she got to know him better. That includes everyone else as well. None of them could be trusted until she got to know them. As for Katja, well she would be the first person Hika starts with.

Hika gave the new guy, he said his name was Luka right?, a short wave and a nod. "Hello. I'm Hikanari Ichibana. Call me Hikanari for now." After her short introduction, she drew her attention back to Katja. Hika decided to focus on Katja and that guy for the time being. After she learns more about them, she'll work her way through the others. Does that sound weird when she puts it that way? Eh, who cares? It's just her and her thoughts anyway.

The academy was undoubtedly a new experience, orderly and clean to the point of feeling sterile compared to what she had been accustomed to, the familiar odours, random breaking and clattering and everything else were absent. Then there was the room, it just didn't feel lived in, everything was brand new without the telltale scuffs, tears and scrapes that told her it had a history of its own. Well, she supposed that just meant she would need to work on that in her own way.

The main issue she had was that the space would be shared with a host of other students, so it wasn't like she could let her guard down; nothing she did make may go missing. Speaking of students though, she supposed she should deal with them when she was ready and armed with what she could find, or maybe.....other methods would be better. She had spent much of her first day exploring the grounds themselves, the entrances and exits more importantly but other things too. The one thing she was not a fan of was the whole checking in and out at the main gate that was supposed to be a thing, she moved freely so that was going to be an issue to deal with too eventually.

Approaching the dormitories once more she was quick to notice the increased activity inside, the telltale sign that more had arrived and so decided to get a better look at them first off, well more of a listen but still. Closing her eyes she would lean against the external wall of the building for a short while unmoving and silent as if in focus or maybe contemplation.

After a short while though her eyes snapped open and a relaxed expression settled upon her face, exhaling and muttering a few words before pushing off the wall to enter the common area where the others were gathered.

"...Baraya, Baraya, Agabaraya..."

A clinking would announce her presence as a plastic bag full of empty bottles resounded from her hands while giving a casual glance across the occupants of the room, though those with enhanced hearing may have instead heard an almost imperceptible high-pitched sound begin reverberating across many objects and Yun herself when she entered.

"Several new flames going crackle, crackle and the chambers take a brighter hue. Though still, I noted several empty sconces awaiting the chase of those lingering corner shadows." She reaches into the pocket of her hoodie and extracts a lollypop of sorts to bounce in her fingers through the air between each of the other students.

"And what is done in the shadows indeed, In the absence of sight or evidence you could do many things and no record would be noted, or you could do the same in the light if the method was right and questions would be raised if you did anything at all. Some quirks are best seen and not heard, some the inverse, and some neither. The final is naturally free from any law." her lips curled up into a grin and gestured the candy to herself before sticking the candy into her mouth.

"It's time."

Everything was prepared. The water was boiling, the potatoes peeled, and Donny decided to balance out the sweet with salty and preheated the oven as well. He boiled the potatoes, then seasoned the potato skins and baked them in the oven. As they cooked Donny cleaned his utensils, preparing for the next stage. His many hands were at work preparing, cleaning, and checking the potatoes if were done boiling. "VY KRETENE!" They were not ready yet. But once they were he began to mash them using a wooden cudgel. Seasoned with a bit of salt, cracking a whole egg into the mix, and pouring some flour to make the mix sticky. Once everything was mixed, Donny began to mix by hand, turning the mashed potato more into a dough. Next was the delicate part: putting sugar inside of the mangos. These fruit were already sweet enough, but it was still important. But Donny needed to carefully balance the sugar to fruit ratio, not wanting to ruin the fruit taste with sugar. So carefully, using a a pastry funnel and a small knife, Donny surgically inserted sugar into each individual cube of mango.

Once Donny had filled the mango with sugar, Donny dusted his workspace with flour. A necessity for what was going to happen next. Dumping the potato dough onto the floured surface Donny began to knead the dough by hand. He made his hands extra boney to make it harder, better to work the dough until he rolled it out into a flat surface, then used a knife to carefully cut the dough into small squares, putting the sugar-filled mangos in the center. With mechanical efficiency Donny cut out dough and made dumplings, pinching them closed and rolling them into perfectly spherical balls. Once he had enough Donny brought out his secret weapon: a steamer he brought from home.

Never boil when you can steam. Laying down some mesh, Donny steamed the dumplings. Once they were steaming Donny checked his phone. It was about time to check on those chips. This was fortunately pretty easy, since they were just chips. Crisp and crunchy, Donny seasoned them with salt and pepper. He debated adding more spice but figured that should be left to the discretion of the others, in case they prefer somewhat more plainer flavors. After turning the oven off, Donny also began the final stage of the cooking: making the crumb covering. While normally these are made with breadcrumbs, Donny choose panko instead, belting butter into a pan on medium heat before adding the panko and sugar, mixing and stirring until Donny had a nice sweet crunch. When Donny checked the dumplings, they were ready, so Donny focused his attention to finishing them off.

With clean hands Donny coated each dumpling with the sweet panko crumbs until they glistened under the light. There were some slightly burnt bits, but it was otherwise as perfect as Donny could get it. Taking a bit, Donny shivered at the taste. Crunchy and savory skin, with sweet and juicy fruit inside. Even with only a little bit of sugar the mango was incredibly sweet, a testament of the quality of the fruit. It was also still firm without being hard, having a delicious soft texture that gave easily but still maintained it's structural integrity. Than there was the potato chips. These weren't very fancy compared to the mango dumplings, but they had a nice salty crunch to them, and were there to balance the sweetness of the mango dango.

Walking out into the dinning area Donny presented the two dishes. "H-H-H-Here's some um, knedle. Cept instead of plums, I used uh, super fancy m-m-mangos. A-A-And I made some potato chips, too. Enjoy!" Donny presents the dishes, notably having had put his extra appendages away. He looked like a regular, jolly chef now. He also made an absurd amount of food for what was originally meant to just be two people: he made enough knedle and chips to feed the entire dorm. The aroma from the kitchen would waft through the dorm area, luring any students who just arrived. The big boy fidgeted near the table, wondering if anyone would want to eat with him.

Asuka looked around as she walked toward the dorms of the newly added 1-C taking in as much as she could so if she got lost she could find her way back to the dorms at the very least. As she approached the building she noticed through one of the windows that there were students already there, talking, making food or eating. She was curious about what they were talking about but at the same time nervous since the only real social interactions she has ever had were those from the Gala or the upper class since that was all she was around most of the time. She really did not want to come off to her soon to be classmates as a snob because of her lack of social skills.

Taking a deep breath she quietly walked into the commons area where she had seen the other 1-C students just moments ago. She looked around nervously before pulling one of her ruffled wings around in front of her so she could smooth down the feathers before releasing it and moving further into the commons area.

“Umm Hi” she greeted nervously.

Ryujin watched as the police went and collected the bikers he had just defeated. He went to an officer and explained the gist of what happened so that it goes into his report. When he finished he simply smoked on his pipe and was about to leave when a kid ran up to him. The kid introduced himself as a new student at UA. He took a glance at him noticing the clawed hands, and the scorpion tail he had. He was definately apart of his new class, after all he did read up on all of the students he would have. He took the pipe out and blew the smoke from his nose looking down on the student.

"I know who you are Toshio. I suppose you were heading to the school? I can take you there myself since a kid like you shouldn't be out as it gets darker. Follow me."

Without saying anymore Ryujin escorted Toshio to UA, taking him beyond the school barrier to the new 1-C Dorms. Opening the door he led him inside.

"Now Boys are the left side over there, we have an elevator on both sides for easy access for certain students as well as stairs. Go and claim whatever room you want. If you want to meet any of the other students you should probably get up early. Otherwise make sure you're at class at 8:30 sharp. If you want your room to have a specified interior, then make a design for it and give it to the faculty. They'll make sure that your design gets implimented especially with whatever you brought from home. If you do get up early you should inform your classmates about this if they haven't been informed beforehand. Welcome to your new Highschool experience."

With that Ryujin left Toshio to his own devices, leaving the building altogether. He still had some things he wanted to take care of beforehand.

Haruto had woken up way too early since his family had expected to get him to his dorm at like 6 in the morning. Instead now it was being done at 4 in the morning. He couldn't help it, he was way too excited to go to UA. So much so he just woke up ready to leave and couldn't stand waiting for a couple more hours. So he bid farwell to his childhood home and was on his way to an unknown world that was Heroism. When he arrived he grabbed all the stuff he brought with him and went towards to where he would be staying. He had brought some of his equipment he uses to make clothing, and it was all strapped on his Abdomen since it could handle the weight.

He went into the building and went to go claim a room, picking a spot on the top floor. He went into the room closest toward the stairs and went inside to set everything up. It took some time to make sure it was all in working order, and he had some more time left to kill. This room was missing a little... something. Haruto pondered on this before realizing, he needed to make it more homely. So he began spreading his webs everywhere, simply because it made him feel comfortable. Lastly he made a small Hammock out of his webs to rest in. By the time he was done, it had the full look of an Arachnophobes nightmare.

Haruto stepped out of his room, wondering if anyone else had arrived during the time it took him to make his room homely. He skittered along the floor and down the stairs. He saw someone on one of the floors walking around aimlessly, so he casually crawled on the ceiling towards them from behind. The person looked sort of devilish, which was kinda cool in Haruto's eyes.

"Are you okay? You look lost? Need some help?"

If they turned around they would see Haruto's arachnid face in front of them upsidedown.

Hika noticed the entrance of more students and noted that they spoke, but at the moment there was too much going on for her to acknowledge either of them. Instead, she focused on the food that the chef boy brought in. She left Katja's side and walked over to the food he made. "That smells delicious. But does it taste delicious?" Hika poked one of the dumplings and picked it up. Then, she took a slow bite, just in case. Hika chewed it for a moment before smiling with a dazed expression. "Whoa dude. I have to say, that's amazing. It's better than my...mom's cooking. But, don't tell her I said that." She winked at the chef boy playfully and ate the rest of the dumpling, going in for seconds.

She had to stop herself after the third so that there would be enough for everyone else. Hika let out a satisfied sigh and stretched. She scratched her head and turned to the chef boy suddenly. Hika bowed.
"Thank you for the food. It was really yummy. You should cook all the time, though I guess that would be tiring, wouldn't it? Oops, I'm talking too much haha. Anyways, thanks again. I'll be going now chef boy." She gave him a bright smile and walked away from him and the food, going to inspect more of the students. Though, who should she talk to next? The chef boy could be inspected later, right now she was focused on the two people that just entered. Hika's eyes roamed over both of them as she thought about her next move.

Ryan turned around and met eyes with him. "Yeah I'm a bit lost." He chuckled in response, he seemed un-phased by the arachnid and more interested with a slight look of awe on his face. "You're an arachnid correct? Or is there another term you wanna be called?" He looked at his (feet?) and tried to figure out how he could hang upside down calculating if he could pin himself in the corner of the wall and ceiling just enough to hang there. Playing it out in his head seemed impossible but he still wanted to try. Setting his bag down on the ground gently he held his hand out for a handshake. "The names Ryan Fletcher, you can call me Ryan, Fletcher, Fletch, or Blink my hero name." He smiled "I'm having a hard time finding my dorm room, and I cant tell if I need to claim one or if theres a room chosen for me." He looked around for a sec as he said this still holding his hand out.

He seemed a little strung out or overly excited, maybe stressed? You really can't tell but what you do know is that he was all over the place. His clothes seemed like they hadn't been washed properly, and his breath seemed to smell a little like he hasn't brushed his teeth in a few day. His right horn had a small chip in the base and it looked as if he had been crying for a very very long time. His eyes were very bloodshot like he has been awake for a day or two. Over all he seemed not okay as if he wasn't taking too good of care of himself, but he seemed to be repressing it very well. His hands were slightly dirty too but it looks normal considering his skin is red and slightly scaly like he just can't quite get all the dirt out from under his scales, his nails looked a little too sharp but unnaturally like he had been trimming them down and suddenly stopped.

It felt a little weird that she was seen but not greeted and not catered like at the home but it was a welcome relief. She was honestly grateful that it is different here especially since she no longer had to be the center of attention. taking a quick look around she moved further into the comments but around the outskirts of the group to observe what everyone was doing without bothering them.

One thing she noticed was whoever was cooking was a skilled professional. The aroma that floated in the air around her was hands down better than what her chef at home had made and it also made her grateful that she taught her how to cook some dishes before Asuka left.

Talking a moment when no one was paying attention to her, she headed up to where the dorm rooms were so she could drop her stuff off. Picking up her suitcase Asuka headed up the stairs in search of her dorm room. It took a moment before she found her room but was oh so grateful to the staff for placing name tags on the doors so they could easily locate their room. Opening her door she walked in and dropped her stuff off to head back down to basically people watch for a bit.

There were a few takers for tea, and a few who didn't want it. That was fine to Mitsu, she doubts she can make enough for everyone. Unlike the dorm's chef, Mitsu was no cook and simply boiled some water in a kettle, and boiled hot water into a cup of instant green tea. Though for Mitsu herself, she opted to chill her tea in the shaved ice, eating it like a slushy. She loved cold treats. She also tried some food, which was good, but too sweet for her liking. Mitsu wouldn't complain though and just settled for one as she watched and listened to all of the students congregating around the area. Now, while Mitsu wasn't exactly a shy person, she did feel that this crowd was getting a bit too much for her. Two or three people she can handle, but more than that and she'll feel overwhelmed just trying to keep track of everyone. Mitsu hung in the back of the crowd listening to others talk, eventually come into contact with a girl with some sort of bird quirk.

It looked like she was also just people watching and wasn't engaging with the whole group. Mitsu felt like she found a kindred spirit, so Mitsu decided to strike up a chat with her. "Hello. My name is Mitsu. What's your name?" Mitsu would then offer some tea, which had cooled down a little in her hand.

Asuka was a little started at the sudden voice near her causing some of her feathers to ruffle before laying flat again as she turned to who had spoken to her. " Hello, Nice to meet you Mitsu, im Yuki Asuka, feel free to call me Asuka ... not much of a crowd person ether?" she asked as she guestued her to join in sitting and watching the rest of the new student body move around the kitchen or were going their own thing.

Suzuki Toshio
Nodding enthusiastically Toshio scurried off to gather his bags. "Thank you very much! Lead on Tatsuma-sensei!" Following the experienced hero he tried not to stare at Ryujin's back. He'd felt a stab of fear at hearing 'I know who you are' from the man and thought he might be told to turn around and go back home.

Fortunately for whatever reason his background didn't seem to be an issue with Ryujin and Toshio was escorted right to the doorstep of the dorm building. "Hai thank you very much Tatsuma-sensei!" He repeated loudly while bowing frantically. "I'll see you in class sensei!" Heading up the stairs while keeping his ears on a swivel for other students he picked out a room at random and let himself in. "Ooh." The room was more spacious than he expected and much bigger than his bedroom in the shoebox of an apartment he and his father lived in. Dropping his bags on the floor he kicked off his shoes before pouncing on the bed, nuzzling into the pillow he inhaled deeply of the clean scent of the brand new bedding.

Taking another minute to revel in the comparative luxury of the room he popped up hearing what sounded like multiple pairs of feet moving along the floor followed by the wall and then ceiling, curiosity piqued Toshio picked up the key to his new home and went out into the corridor to find two other boys outside, one attached to a spider thorax and hanging from the ceiling and the other a rather demonic looking lad with a scent that seemed like he had been roughing it a little. "Oh h-hello there! I overheard you a bit, one of the teachers told me to just pick a room out, but I think maybe some might have one set up in advance if they need something special for it." Toshio looked up at the spider person thinking he might not suit a normal bed very well. "I'm Suzuki Toshio by the way, my favourite food is crepe with whipped cream and I dislike eggs." The pre-prepared introduction tumbled out awkwardly at the same time he thought it might not work well for a random encounter with only two guys but finished anyway. "It's nice to meet you both!"

"Yeah. I don't mind talking to people, but not a fan of crowds. Snacks are nice though." Sipping some of her tea, Mitsu looked over everyone and came to realize just how strange everyone looked here. Granted with quirks people tend to look odd all the time, but Mitsu was so used to the usual dark-hair, fair skin Japanese look that seeing all these different faces and hair colors made Mitsu wonder if any of them really lived in Japan. But that might've just been her old family teachings getting the better of her. She had been told that such outlook is "old fashion", and Mitsu didn't want to come off as some geezer. Asuka herself looked foreign but her name seemed Japanese enough. Mitsu debated if it would be in bad taste to ask if she's Japanese, and instead found a more tactful way to ask this question. "Do you live around here? I used to live up north, in Hokkaidō. Good... Good hunting up there, and I miss the cold temperature."
