She nodded her head, "Yeah I know, but as long as they don't kill me they will probably do what they can." she said and upon receiving Gohan's instruction to push it under her she took a deep breath and made sure to keep a calm body and mind as she let the ball of light fade and disappear. She shut her eyes and concentrated on that energy and gathered more and then forced it down hard and fast and she almost burst from the ground at a decent speed. "Woah! Too high!" she shouted as she was basically shot up way higher than she intended to go and she cut off her energy and because of that she fell straight to the ground. As she saw the ground coming at her so fast she shut her eyes tight and did what she had done just a few seconds ago but tried to make it a little easier and in a steady stream. When she didn't feel the earth end her or even touch her after a couple minutes she opened her eyes and she saw she was floating. She smiled and got excited. Now that she was in the air she was able to get her balance pretty fast and manipulate her energy so she could go higher and slowly she got faster. "Oh yeah! This is awesome! I'm flying!" she was actually super proud of herself to get this far already. She was picking it up faster than Videl had. She seemed super comfortable with everything too. She flew around a bit first then looked up and wondered just how fast and how high she could go. "Okay. I'll be back in a sec...I want to try something..." she said and charged up some energy and then shot up like a bullet and went straight up and super fast. She felt like she could do anything at the moment and when she finally stopped in the air she looked around from the view and took it in. "So this...is their Earth....it's even more beautiful than they drew it to be." she said to herself and once she got enough of the view she flew back down and landed with grace and a smile. "Wow. Flying is so easy! I would think it would have been harder since it took longer for Goku to fly that it did for the Kamahamaha wave. If it's easier than that...learning Ki blasts will be a breeze!" she said happily. She then looked to Piccalo with a challenging smirk, "Don't get too comfortable Piccalo. I'm coming for you." she said hoping to at least get a smirk from the namekian or even a chuckle. "So...let's see....if I remember right....you gather the energy into the palms of your hands and hold it there for as long as you can then release it all at once and picture in your mind the direction you want it to go to control it, right?" She asked, wanting to make sure that she remembered those training episodes and her own human training to make it possible.

"Sorry no."The girl said while listening to the boy's explanation confused but nodding "Right....so I just have to push my energy under my feet and control it?"She asked while focusing her energy to her feet "Umm....how do I focus Ki energy?"Jane asked embarrassed


Adam nodded focusing searching around finding something that felt like power grabbing it and sending it to his hands "Like this?"The boy asked not opening his eyes keeping the concentration he had not feeling like restarting from the beginning if he messes up

Gohan was grinning like his dad would grin at the start of a big meal and Piccolo gave a slight grin, but it was definitely there and it seemed to be pride in Serenity for learning so well so fast. Gohan ran over and laughed. "Yeah! You got it! Alright, so next is Ki blasts since you seem pretty comfortable with flying. Pretty much, concentrate a lot of energy in the palm of your hand. It super heats the gas and make Ki blasts, well more like plasma, but I'm the only one with an education around here so we'll stick with Ki blasts. Then you can control it." He smiled encouragingly and waited for Serenity to get it down.

"Just concentrate it and control it. Force it to get under you and you should be able to fly no problem." Trunks said with a little more explanation. Goten scratched his chin as he watched.

Goku looked at Adam's hands. There was a light glow, but it was kind of faint. "Almost there. Try again, but concentrate more on the energy itself and pulling it to your hands. You can't get distracted." He said, knowing that Adam had been counting his chickens before they hatched. He was definitely thinking about the power he'd gain instead of focusing.

Jason could finally open his eyes and watch the vibrant ball of light form in his hands. Future Trunks grinned. "Alright, good job. Now remember how it felt pulling that energy to your hands? Just do the same, except with underneath your body." Jason nodded. "Okay." He found his energy and dragged it under his feet and he felt the ground become light. He looked down and realized he was hovering a foot off the ground, but fell back down as soon as he did.

She smiled widely when she got the smirk from Piccalo and a big congrats from Gohan and encouragement. She couldn't believe that she would adapt so fast. It felt so easy. Like child's play here. She wondered why Videl had such a hard time mastering everything. When Gohan said he was the only one with an education she giggled and smiled, "Not anymore. I'm actually in the top percentile in my school. I was even asked if I wanted to skip a couple grades but I wanted to live like everyone else." she explained, showing she had a bit in common with almost everyone. She then got down to business and looked at her hand and concentrated a lot more energy into her hand than she needed to but she was trying to compensate since she was not flying or just making a ball of light. She held her hand palm forward at a bolder and concentrated more and gathered more energy. Her hand became hot and the ki gathered and started to glow. She grit her teeth a bit as she strained to keep it in check a moment and the moment she decided to let it go she forced it away from her hand to incinerate the stone, leaving nothing in the blast's path. She gave a small yell as it was her first ki blast and she needed to get used to the energy here. The blast shot forth in a beam of light and sent the air to woosh past her and in the beam's destructive path lay a crevasse and further past about a mile or so long, it stretched leaving the ditch she had just created. Once it was all over her eyes went wide and she was a bit stunned that she could do that. "Woah...I didn't mean to do that...I only meant to destroy the boulder, not create a ditch." she said then looked to Gohan and Piccalo with an apologetic grin while scratching the back of her head a little, "Oops? Too much? Heh. The energy is so different here. Even with years of martial arts training, even the strongest man in my world couldn't do that. Our physicicks doesn't allow such things to happen but here it's so easy. I don't understand why. Though, to be honest, I'm glad of it. The people of my world are not the most trusted when it comes to power. They would probably destroy themselves if they could do this."

"Right...okay."Jane said while focusing and putting the Ki underneath her as she slowly started to be lifted into the air losing her concentration she fell back to the ground "Owww...how far did I get?"The girl asked the boys


"What...but I got the Ki?"The boy asked confused trying concentrate more eventually sighing and stop concentrating losing whatever he had "Let me see you do so I know what I'm suppose to be grabbing at."He suggested looking at the man

Gohan stared at the ditch. "Woah. Good job, now you just gotta keep the power in check." He said, turning back to Serenity with a wide grin planted on his handsome face. He was really surprised by the quick progress and wondered if she had tapped in with some of her hidden potential. Piccolo just gave a thumbs up before crossing his arms and meditating again, with a serious face accompanying it.

Trunks shrugged. "Looked like a few feet to me. I guess you're not that bad after all." He said in his cocky voice that he always had. Goten just gave a kind but goofy smile as if to wordlessly say 'good job!'.

Goku nodded. "I dunno how you're supposed to figure out how to grab your energy by watching me, but okay." He said and plopped himself down, creating a vivid ball of bright light in between his hands within seconds.

Future Trunks gave an encouraging smile. "Good start, but you need to learn to be able to focus on keeping the energy under you. Eventually, you could be able to hold a serious conversation, flying at top speeds, and not fall- but for now, just focus on not falling in general. Once we get that down, we can get you working on Ki blasts- maybe even the kamehameha. That and getting those muscles some mass." He spoke and Jason blushed. He already knew for fact he was a total weakling and that getting any real strength would take quite a while with him. Vegeta just glared at Jason, annoyed at how weak he was.

The girl giggled "I tried me best thanks."She said getting up while smiling back at Goten "It seems I have two great teacher here to teach me doesn't it."The girl stated


"I learn better watching that's all."The boy explained before watching the man "So its just that easy for you guys?!"Adam asked confused "I don't even know what the hell I'm suppose to be grabbing at!"He stated before sighing and laying down "Hey Krillin is this what it feels like to not be able to do anything? If so it sucks..."Adam said dully while looking at the sky while trying to focus again "So I don't grab what feels like power right?"He asked while searching deep inside him ignoring anything that feels like power

She became shocked when she saw Piccalo give her a thumbs up then looked at Gohan, "Did I just see what I thought I saw? Piccalo gave a thumbs up? Wow. I never thought I'd see that, ever." she said in complete shock that she was actually able to impress the namekian. Gohan she wasn't surprised that she was able to impress as she herself was surprised by how easy these lessons were, though watching the show and trying to imitate them on a daily basis kind of help along with her formal training in dance and gymnastics. She looked back to Gohan and smiled, "Right. Um...that should be easy enough. I guess I just need to practice a bit in order to be able to control it better. Thanks Gohan. You're really a great teacher." she was so happy that she was able to finally do something more than just perform. Now she could actually do something. She then looked at Gohan's clothes then piccalo's then her own. Even now she still stood out and these weren't the best clothes for training in. They were way too tight and too fancy and wouldn't provide any benefits. She was basically at the moment in a frilly skirt and a classy top with ribbons and frills that just annoyed her. "Um, I hate to ask and be a bother, but I don't suppose you have an extra set of clothes, do you? I mean, these clothes I'm wearing don't exactly blend in very well in this world." she asked.

Trunks nodded alongside Goten, both grinning proudly. "We try." Trunks said oh so humbly.

Krillin frowned but didn't want to respond. He didn't like how everyone gave him shit all the time, but he was too lazy to care too much about it. Goku laughed. "Hey bud, don't worry, you'll get the hang of it. Just try to feel for whatever most resembles this chakra stuff you keep talking about." He said in his carefree voice.

Gohan laughed. "Trust me, you deserved that thumbs up. Most humans without training their whole lives in fighting in general wouldn't be able to dream of this, and yet you've gotten it down in a day. And I think I might have some extra clothes, but it's my highschool uniform, I don't know if it'd be the best for fighting." He said, scratching his head as Piccolo returned to his meditation and mental training.

Jason flopped onto his back. "Is it okay if we take a bit of a break? We never did get to eat that meal that Goku was talking about. We were in too much of a rush..." Future Trunks nodded. "Even the most devoted and strongest out there need rest or they won't get any better. Okay, we're talking a break." He too fell onto his back , staring at the now darkening sky. Everyone was surprised that night had snuck up on them and was fast approaching.

Jane giggled at their response. "So what are we learning now or do I still have to practice learning to fly?" Jane asked looking at the boys curiously

"Okay if you say so...." The boy said while jumping up and focusing in finding what most resembles charka. After awhile the fox yawned jumping of Adam's head "Try doing what you always do when summoning up Charka make the hand signs to see if it helps." Kyuubi suggested making the boy nodded placing his hands together in front of him while streading his breathing closing his eyes

She smiled and laughed a little, "Well, it's got to be better than these ruffles and frills and ribbons." she said and took off that silly little head piece and let her long golden hair flow freely and she did so with a sigh of relief. "The best thing so far about being flung into another universe, my mom can't dress me up anymore and I can be myself." she said and undid the necktie that bothered her as much as the headband did. "They might be a bit big on me, but hey, that just means more freedom of movement." she was rather optimistic and gratefully accepted the clothes. She went behind a tree to change clothes so that no one got uncomfortable. When she came back out she was dressed in Gohan's school uniform and she looked so cute in them. She decided to leave the vest off and just use the shirt, pants and belt. "This is so much better! I don't have to posture myself for once!" she then ran back to Gohan, "So, what's next? Kamayamaya wave?" she asked.

Goten shrugged. "Well, we're supposed to train you to the point that you can get away safely... So I guess we should get you used to flying." He said and Trunks nodded in agreement, both boys watching Jane expectantly.

Both Krillin and Goku watched the hand signs, trying to figure out what in the world Adam was doing. Closest to that they'd seen was whenever Tien used Dodon Ray or Kikoho. They were pretty confused as they observed, but didn't interrupt since they figured it might be the easiest way for Adam to discover his power.

Gohan laughed. "I think we need to get down your control over ki blasts before we can teach you something like the kamehameha. If used without much control, it could destroy an entire planet." He said before scratching the back of his head. He realized she must've already known that due to what shed told Bulma earlier.

Jason glanced over to Vegeta's tense attitude showing clear as day in his posture and face as he glared at the sky. He was honestly just awaiting any arrival of their enemies coming for the weakling. He personally hardly cared what happened to other worlds, but his future son had told him about how a crack in space and time could form and allow countless threats tear up their own world. Future Trunks was now lying on his back under the shadow of a tree, watching the sky go to bed and awaken its darker self otherwise known as night. Jason too looked back up, still amazed at all the time passed just by him learning to fly and control it.

The girl nodded while focusing her energy again bring it to her feet while she was falling forward she put it underneath her body opening her eyes smiling "Hey I got it...well i'm floating how do I actually move around?"The girl asked curiously looking at the the boys


Adam continued to stay like this eventually finding the Ki grabbing it and bringing it to his hands continuing to stay focus bringing all the ki he could to his hands "Am I doing it right?"Adam asked not losing his focus

Serenity smirked as she looked at Gohan and giggled a little as if she knew something he didn't "Oh? I think you're underestimating me a bit, Gohan. I said earlier that I'm a fast learner." she said, "I thought you would have picked up on that by now, but you're right. I could use more practice with ki blasts first. But now that I fired off my first one it should be fairly easy to reign it in and control." she said and proceeded to demonstrate what she meant by holding out her hand to an apple tree and shooting a very small ki blast and sliced an apple free from a branch to let it fall to the ground. "See? I just need to get the hang of it once and I pick it up pretty quick, especially when it comes to something I want or enjoy and this is definitely something I enjoy." she said then glanced at the meditating Piccalo and couldn't wait to get to really train. "So what do you think?" she asked smiling as she went over and picked up the apple and then flew up and picked another and tossed it to Gohan. She put the other in her mouth and picked one more and tossed it in front of Piccalo in case he wanted one. She didn't want to hit him or anything. "I'm still starved. Remember, we originally were going to get something to eat but got sidetracked. This will at least stave off hunger pains." she said as she munched on her apple. As she ate she looked at her hand and focused her Ki to flow and form a ball of light in consistent increments. Making sure that she could get the same amount of light with the same amount of ki each time.

Goten cocked his sideways, unsure how to explain it. He shrugged and looked over at Trunks expectantly. Trunks shrugged too and looked back at Jane. "I guess just make the energy flow in whatever direction you wanna go in but keep it under you. I think." He said with a little uncertainty in his voice.


Goku nodded. "Looks good, now try dragging that energy underneath you." He gave a bright and encouraging grin.


Gohan gave a thumbs up. "That was pretty good. That and I'd have to agree, I'm starving." Piccolo opened an eye and shook his head. He was sure if the girl knew so much about them she'd know he only needs water instead of food.


Jason fell asleep pretty quickly and Future Trunks put him in a tent. Vegeta argued with him how useless it was trying to train such a scrawny and helpless human. Future Trunks defended by reminding his father about the hidden potential within the boy. They argued back and forth until they felt an immense power level nearby moving fast in their general direction. They ducked into the tent and hid their power levels, not wanting to take any chances.

Serenity knew Piccalo only needed water but she figured that there wasn't any harm in offering if he wanted it, even if he didn't need it. She continued to much on her apple till it was only the core that remained and then tossed it so that nature could take its course either feeding wild animals or planting a new tree. "I wonder. If I stay here, would I one day be as strong as Kririn? I doubt I can ever be as strong as Vegeta, Gohan, Piccalo or Goku, but it would be nice having to be stuck un the roll of damsel in distress. Maybe one day." she said to herself as she looked up at the sky and wondered what the others were doing. Probably training as well. She bet that they were taking to their lessons like fish to water but she was off. She didn't realize that she was ahead of them all in that regard. Once she produced the ki ball of light for the 100th time with the same amount of energy and consistency she figured that was okay for control. "I think I got the control down okay. I'm good to go." she said smiling before she looked up at the sky and watching it change a bit as time passed but she didn't want to stop. She still had so much energy that she didn't know what to do with it all. she then took a deep breath and gathered her energy into her hands, one in each and got into a strongly rooted stance. She started going through the motions of the Kamahamaha wave but didn't fire anything. This was on purpose, so that she could get used to the motions and she felt the strain on her muscles as the ki went through her and gathered even more in her hands. Once in the ending pose she let the ball of energy recede and go through it all again but each time it strained her muscles a bit but she ignored that strain and once she got used to it, it became easier. "I think I've gotten the basic gist of it. I don't want to fire anything off yet and possibly give away our location. But, you know I noticed something. There's a bit of a strain on the arms when pushing your ki through them and building into your palms. I guess it's because I'm not used to ki flowing and building like that."

Jane laughed a bit "Neither of you two know how to actually teach someone to fly around do you?"The girl asked smirking a bit but taking Trunks advice and moving the energy around making her fly around slowly but she was flying "This is fun...and this is normal for you guys?"Jane asked them curiously while picking up speed flying around them


"Okay..."He said while focusing the energy to his feet watching it leave his hands going to his feet starting to slowly float up trying to not lose his concentration looking up falling forwards quickly moving the Ki to underneath himself smiling "I did it! I actually did it wooo!"The boy exclaimed in full joy while grinning
